Iron Maiden jolted up a bit and turned around to notice a young lady, clearly drunk, had been barking at her. The Maiden looked at her with a raised eyebrow of her only good eye. Then a devilish grin passed her lips and expressed itself, revealing some of her teeth. She laughed a little and addressed the newcomer, "Ohohoho? What's this?" the tall woman looked down on the young girl and looked her straight in the eye, Maiden's face turned from amused to the expression that got her, her name. Steely eyed expression with a curled-upper lip. "You're pretty loud for a small person. I think you soldier have had one too many drinks for your own good." Raising up her head she looked at the other who accompanied her. She then returned her gaze back to the girl's. "And just so you know I am Colonel Iron Maiden of the Golden Companions. Nice to meet you....uh....well...you I guess will have to do for now." she grinned. The other soldiers around her cringed and watched from the cracks of the fingers that covered their eyes. Yelling at a superior was one thing, barking at the Iron Maiden was another. Most soldiers knew that she was hell incarnate when it came to chewing out soldiers. Most of the new recruits whom she has trained can testify to that.

The last gulp of alcohol had made Anemone a bit more brash than per usual. She leaned in, making a horribly failed attempt at combating the odd grin thrown at her with a intimidating one of her own. She crossed her arms over her chest, which caused her to stumble just a bit. "Hey! I've only had one drink, for your information!" While true, that one drink was far more than enough to set her on a drunken path. Her head turned towards Turin, hoping that he would not agree with the blond, forward woman before her.

As her gaze left Turin, she panned about, eying the soldiers who stood around them with their mouths covered in shock. She could only wonder what had them in such a state of surprise. It was then, that the shock hit her as well.

Her eyes widened as her arms dropped to her side. "C-c-c-colonel?!" Shock was an understatement, as her eyes rolled into the back of her head and body fell backward, fainting at the simple thought of what she'd done.

No sooner had she just got done weaving her tale had Anemone started to act up. Oh Delila had been keeping a good eye on that one, watching her refuse the caf and continue to swig down the alcohol. Sighing, Delila finished her wine, this was probably the last moment of peace and quiet she would be having for the rest of the night. Time to go yell at Nivalis and apologize to the Colonel. Something she seriously didn't want to do.

"Its been a fun night but you will have to excuse me. Duty suddenly calls."

Thud.

Apparently she was a little late in getting to Nivalis, the girl was passed out on the floor. Now Delila really had work to do. Moving towards the crowd of soldiers, the Major made her way in to the young Doctor. Shaking her head, Delila looked to the Colonel.

"Seems some of us can't hold our alcohol tonight. I will take full responsibility Colonel."

Looking down, Delila nudged Nivalis with her foot, trying to shake her awake. Her voice grew serious, just on the edge of yelling. This was a complete embarrassment for the entire 73rd. What the girl was thinking was still beyond her.

"Get up now Lieutenant. Thats an order."

Internally, she winced, thumb moving over to brush her ring-finger absently. There had been some time but the wound was still ripe. She didn’t blame Dells. She knew her friend was trying to be sensitive about that whole situation. Unfortunately, she knew Judah wouldn’t miss a beat.

“Definitely some interesting stuff,” a certain nostalgic view crossed her scale-speckled features for a moment until she snapped back to her easy-going self. “At least this time we don’t have to worry about food and getting junkyard hand-me-downs.” As Dells left, she stood. “Good look Major. All grown up and you get all these responsibilities.” Offering a last wink, she sighed at the mess her friend had to clean up.

“Well Mister Ravos, what about you? Got any annoying…I mean, close friends like Delila is to me?” She offered a warm smile to Judah as she broke her gaze with the Jedi.

Judah hadn't missed the slip from the Major. He had caught all the other bits and pieces as well but of course the almost married-to-some-guy part along with Thessa's reaction were the most interesting. The wound still seemed very raw and Judah wondered how long ago was this? Was he the rebound guy?Granted what was happening between himself and the Galan was new and evolving. Maybe it was better not to put too big of a emphasis on the situation.

Straightening the tie on his dress blues, Judah debated on whether to stay or head out a little early. Normally once one drunken event occurred it was a catalyst for all others to break out as well. He'd rather avoid that.He flashed a smile back to Thessa , coming out of his thoughts.

"I'm not quite sure anyone has friends like that." He chuckled a little at the scene playing out in the middle of the banquet hall.

Anemone's eyes slowly opened as she was nudged several times. She blinked as she laid there, noticing the Major and Colonel somewhat hovering above her. Without the slightest bit of hurry, she sat up as rubbed the back of her head lightly. "Itai..", she mumbled to herself as she attempted to gather her thoughts. She had remembered dragging Turin somewhere and saying something to the blond woman at the bar. Just as she was prepared to let it all go, the memory quickly swarmed back to her like bees to a hive. She blinked a few times before glancing up before her, which put the Colonel in her gaze. A heavy gulp slid down her now dry throat, as this only meant one thing. There could be only one person still hovering above her.

Slowly she rolled her head back until she was seeing directly above her, directly at Delila. A sheepish grin formed over her face as a beat of sweat formed on her brow. "Uh...Major. This....isn't what it looks like?" Of course, it was, but she couldn't very well say that now.

Jaxton thought for a while on the Galan's question before answering "I've got a couple." He said and thought of fighting alongside Ben, Seroth, and even Darron. "I find sometimes annoying people is just part of growing closer." Jaxton responded to the male Pilot's remark. Thinking for a moment, he realized his presence with the Major would likely not be helpful without him using the Force or his Zeltron biology to calm things down, and she might not have appreciated that. On the other hand, he also didn't want to stay here and be the oddman out. So Jaxton took a piece of Flimsiplast and wrote down his contact information, then rose out of his seat.

"I'm gonna let you two alone, and I don't think I can help out Delila any. If you could give her this and tell her I enjoyed myself I'd appreciate it." Jaxton said and handed the now folded flimsi to the Captain, before beginning to head out of the ballroom.
