The blond nodded calmly as she snapped at him, handing over Felicity to Barnabus. He leaned over to rest a hand on her cheek, smiling softly before nodding at the commando. "Keep them safe, " he said, moving past and heading for his ship without looking back. He couldn't bring himself to do it. He didn't have to do it. He would return, with Feena. And her friends. His footfalls echoed as he made his way up the ramp of his Fury to the cockpit, dropping into his seat and strapping in. Coordinates to Coruscant were being put in as he awaited Feena to join him.

So apparently, the distress call worked.
That was one thing he noted when the door burst open, but before he could make sense of the oncoming situation he saw and heard Stargo trigger his pistol. Senator of Brunswick let out a gasp of pain as the shot him in the upper chest section. Although it too was blaster-proof, the pain was almost unbearable. He clutched to the nearby wall desperately, knowing that if he fell, he might not get back up again. Suddenly, he saw that a squad had entered and was taking care of Zev. The bad news was, one of the commandos had started charging towards him, and tackled him and full speed. 'A little too late to shield me...' he thought rather crossly. He cursed silently as he was tackled and he was pushed forcefully onto the ground, and further put more pressure on his chest, escalating his pain.

Jaxton sighed internally, but remained alert to his surroundings. When he spoke to the Grandmaster about his career, he spoke to his ability to pick up physical clues on what to do. If I guy runs parallel with you and lobs a ball up you slam it down for him. Jaxton could do stuff like that easily in combat by watching the Grandmaster set him up. Still, he could follow words too, but so could Omni.

The Seraphim droid in front of him went for a stab, which Jaxton saw coming from the droid’s large frame and pushed sideways, slashing the shanking appendage as it came. The droid showed no emotion, no pain, as it merely redirected other parts of its body to reform the wing. Jaxton pushed a button on his dual-phase lightsaber, extending the length to nearly a meter and rushed forwards, slashing at the headless Seraph’s legs, then reverted his blade back to its normal, more stable length. As Jaxton the droid was missing a head and Jaxton had cut off and arm, wing and two legs the seraphim was little more than a hollow shell from all the reforming it had done. It attacked him with a downward slash, to which Jaxton slashed at the droids equivalent of a forearm.

As the droid didn’t have enough mass to reform, it merely shriveled into a pool and then traveled to form with the other Seraphs. Jaxton stood for a moment and caught his breath. Fighting those things were exhausting. Even with his athleticism he felt he couldn’t let up his Force speed, they were just too fast. Then his calm was broken as he saw the body of a youngling thrown into the hanger, landing near the Jedi Grandmaster, it’s body bitten and maimed to the point where one couldn’t tell the gender or even species of the body other than it was humanoid. The poor creature was killed in a way no droid would kill, it was too mangled, too beastly. Jaxton turned to see a giant beast, seemingly controlled by Omni. It looked hideous, grotesque, and ultimately monstrous creature. It was almost certainly Sith Spawn, how did Omni get a monster like that to work for him? Could Omni control beasts? If Omni could control Droids and Sith Spawn, they were in serious trouble.

Jaxton made his way towards the Grandmaster, aiming to protect his flank from the beast. To his surprise, the beast picked up a starfighter and threw it out of the hanger, as if at some target Jaxton couldn’t identify. Then he finally saw it, just a glimpse of a starfighter. The beast had to have some sort of sensor. Just as Jaxton was thinking of Sensors his comlink started going off. “Anyone receiving this, this is Professor Trilan Tenthrad of Coruscant University, to my knowledge in the only one still alive. Stay away.” Argh, more people to save. If Jaxton was a logical man, he’d say one man wasn’t worth the trouble to get to Coruscant U, but Jaxton was a Zeltron, and emotions lead his mind. He had to try and save the man.

CU’s only a few blocks from here. He reasoned. I can save him. Jaxton thought. Then he arrived at the side of @[member="Darron Wraith"] and realized that to do so he’d have to leave the Grandmaster to fight the Sith Spawn and take care of the padawan and the Chancellor with only the Genosian soldier to help him out.

“We need to get somebody over there.” Jaxton said to the Grandmaster with urgence, ignoring all typical protocol on etiquette and formalities. Normally Jaxton was very formal when dealing with his superiors, but here they were warriors, fighting side by side.

Unadulterated Hell.

That was exactly what the hangar had become within moments as the Jedi, Chancellor, and the geonosian were in the fight of their lives. The Seraphim units had dodged his attacks, the artificial intelligence deftly maneuvered past his assault. As his other blade returned to his hand, the GrandMaster was once more deflecting blaster bolts as he slowly made his way to Jaxton's side amongst all of the chaos. For every droid he cut down, three took their place, and as much as Darron hated to admit it. They were severely outnumbered and would lose to the overwhelming numbers if they didn't manage to get out in the next couple of minutes, or get reinforcements. To complicate matters was the fact that they had to stay near the Chancellor to guarantee her safety, or else the Republic would be dealt a crippling blow. While she was their primary objective, her presence was limiting the Jedi's options, but they where enduring like always.

Until the cyborg terantenak decided to show up and absolutely wreak havoc.

The monstrous creation charged all the Jedi, and the GrandMaster sprinted to the Chancellor to protect or die for her. Yet the sudden appearance of an X-wing firing it's payload at the creature created an opening for him. It distracted the monster and most of Omni's minions had focused their fire on it as well. "Jaxton, cover us now!" A ripple in the Force caught his attention as he saw Rosa appear, and his heart soared. She came for me when I needed her most, he shook his reverie and yelled an order to her as well. "Rosa, to us now!" Leaning down next to the Chancellor, he deactivated one of his blades and clipped it to his belt before activating the comm to the Jedi starfighter. "Get here now R5, it's a hot landing zone and you will be taking the Chancellor to The Teferi!" The communication was over, and he motioned for Aurelia to stay down as the Jedi formed a protective barricade around her. All of their lightsabers working in tandem to fight against as one coordinated unit, and they managed to hold them at bay long enough for the ship to come roaring into the hangar.

As it flew behind the assembled Jedi, an hovered directly behind them, the astromech tweeted and whistled a greeting. Making haste, he grabbed the Supreme Chancellor and pulled her with him and placed her in the cockipit. His voice came out rather tense, and he sounded distracted as he deflected blaster bolts. "R5, don't slow down until you make it to the frigate, and Chancellor. Please spread the word of this attack, and help build our forces so we can retake the world. I'm afraid Coruscant has fallen!" With those words he slapped the hull of the starfighter before watching it rocket out of the hangar and up into the clouds above. All our hopes go with you Aurelia, don't let us down. I know you wont...

Turning his attentions back to the present, he issued more orders.

"All Jedi, attack the Seraphim droids. The terantenek is mine."

The Force enhancing his speed, he bolted across the hangar around the remaining droids and put himself about a hundred feet away from the monstrous cyborg. "You want to attack someone, attack me creature!"

The counter attack had begun. There were soldiers in the streets, in the buildings, and in the sky. All of them laying their lives on the line to protect the people of Courscant. But he knew what this really was. Everyone else did too. This was a desperate attempt to evacuate as many civilians as possible. Many were not expected to make it out of here alive. Luckily the only sky forces they had seemed to be the strange droids that led the initial assault. After sweeping through with the Captain to help the clones they swept through several sectors of Courscant. A few lucky minutes later the call came in. But it wasn't from the base they launched from, which meant it had probably become overrun by the droids. With a short curse he pulled up and fought his way out of the planet's atmosphere and to the safe have of the Fleet. As soon as he landed he blacked out. The stress of flight under the suffocating presence of the Force and the millions of people's deaths flooding it had finally gotten to him. But it was fine. He didn't fight it. But he needed to find someone to talk to about this and quick.

She stayed behind moments longer to look at her youngest daughter in the arms of Barnabus. Unlike Keter, she was less confident about coming back. She joined her fiance in the Fury moments later, scurrying up the ramp after him.
"Keter, first thing when we get there, I recommend we investigate the Senate building," she began, buckling herself in, "There is a chance that if it is still there, some very important members of the Senate will still be inside. I hope they are not, honestly. I hope they all managed to escape before we get there, but I need to be sure."
She took a deep breath, closing her eyes.
"After that... We do what we can for the citizens of Coruscant. It's last official census noted one trillion legal citizens, just to give you an idea of what we have to work with here. I imagine that the population will have dropped quite a bit once this is over..."

The engines growled as they activated, raising them up off the ground and into the sky. Keter controlled the Fury with ease of years of experience, flying the over-sized interceptor towards orbit. "Senate first, understood. I don't think those small aerial droids can hurt as much but they can run a lot of inteference. Best you send a message once we're in orbit for them to gather at some sort of landing pad to pick them up from," he advised, his mind already thinking of various ideas how to deal with the coming situation.

The blond took a deep breath. "There is little we can truly do except act as mobile fire support for any resistance groups or pinned units. This is an uprising for below, chaos and disorganization is their greatest tool. I know, it's what I had planned after all," he said as they left the planet behind them, heading for the jump point. "The key is finding the control network on the planet. It could be anywhere. That's the only way to coordinate so many machines at once."

With the call out Trilan leaned on his sword and let out a heavy, ragged breath that led to bloody coughing, how many droids had he single handedly taken out. Fifty? A hundred? He'd lost count after twenty in the frenzy to save his students. The sound of mechanical whirling made Trilan turn about and raise his sword. They'd came.

Trilan painfully took an opening stance and prepared for what he thought to be his last stand. He wouldn't be going down without taking a bunch of them with him.

Hangar Platform- All involved
Sonic rounds from the geonosian screamed through the air and hammered into the Terentatek's body. However, the functionality of the geonosian sonic blaster relied upon rupturing the organs within a living organism. The Terentatek's hide was so thick and its mass so large that the waves simply made it a bit nauteous, if nothing more. Sev3n's analyzation of the damage showed no internal bleeding or rupturing of the skin. Running calculations at the speed of a supercomputer, the A.I. identified incoming threats and adjusted responses accordingly. Due to the lack of long range weapons systems on the Terentatek, Sev3n compensated with the massive strength of the beast it controlled.

Ripping off another huge sheet of durasteel from the derelict shuttle, the monstrosity hefted the metal over its head and hurled it at the Geonosian. Periphery vision and minute awareness alerts in the sensory function called the Force alerted Sev3n to the presence of nearby Force sensitives. The Terentatek's dark side nature gave it the ability to smell the Force on other beings. A gigantic head full of tusks, teeth, and tines turned to stare with luminous red eyes at a human male with long blonde hair. Sev3n's combat simulations ran once more. Threat: Jedi. Tactic: entrapment. Jedi attempt to lure into acceptable striking distance for close air support. Countertactic: long range strike. Of course, Sev3n did not have any long range equipment, nor could the Terentatek utilize any weaponry. It could, however, keep throwing things.

"Mockery: as you wish, foolish organic," Sev3n replied.

Sev3n opened subspace encrypted communication lines with a nearby Seraph. The droid responded in the affirmative. The Terentatek stomped over to a nearby repulsorlift outfitted for refueling duty. Enormous strides made the ground quake. Sev3n lifted the repulsorlift. The Terentatek roared. Projectile trajectories processed in nanoseconds. Sev3n heaved the repulsorlift toward the Jedi with blonde hair. The refueler sailed through the air. Before it reached the specific point where Darron stood, the nearby Seraph fired a composite beam. The plasma hit the refueler and ignited it, as well as the massive tank of starfighter fuel it carried. Flames of yellow and orange billowed as the explosion consumed everything in ten meters. The shockwave ruptured the organs of nearby organics. Twisted bits of shrapnel sprayed for thirty meters in every direction. Processors acknowledged the ringing in the Terentatek's ears. An after-image stuck to the retinas. Sev3n watched on, unimpeded by any physical pain, with programmed satisfaction.

The sound arose, quietly at first, like a distant stage whisper, and then soon rose to rythmic thundering snaps of metal on metal.

And it was walking up the Main Foyer of the Jedi Temple !

Naadi scampered to the main chamber at breakneck speed on all fours, and was going to shout the news for all to hear, but it seems that more than afew droids were acting as a vanguard to draw attention from the main force walking right into the Jedi Temple like they owned the place. Several jedi were already in combat, lightsabers drawn and fighting for their lives against assuredly deft angel-droids.

Shit, shit, damn

Cody was zipping through the streets of Coruscant blind, the whole system was down and he had to take his helmet off because it kept getting flooded with the same messages from Omni over and over. Now the lone officer was flying through the streets on his speeder as legions of demonic droids swooped from the sky and began killing all of those in sight. When the invasion first started h was trying to help people get to safety, but now there seemed to be no one alive to save like these droids had wiped out all life on the planet. As the bike swooped through the air the officer began firing blaster bolts from the bikes forward turrets into the fray of droids swooping from the sky.

Without warning Cody's Comm suddenly buzzed to life and a males voice rang through, was it command! ""Anyone receiving this, this is Professor Trilan Tenthrad of Coruscant University, to my knowledge in the only one still alive. Stay away." . Damn it wasn't central, but he wasn't surprised, he figured they were all dead anyway. Still, this civilian distress call meant there was someone out there that needed help. Cody pressed a few buttons on his gauntlet and sent a message back to the source of the call

"This is Officer Walkins of the Coruscant Security Force, are you at the university?"

Gezzo

Captain Gezzo, 73rd Infantry, Charlie Company CO
Gezzo was firing relentlessly at the creature but the metal beast ate the rounds like they were candy. This was not good at all, if his blaster was no use against him then he might have to resort to getting up close and using his spear to find a gap in the armor and take him out that way. "Senator, stay down!" the Geonosian clicked, not paying attention at the object being hurled towards him. Before he could even react, the it impacted him and sent the bug falling towards the floor.

Senate Building - Near Eastern Hangar

He had just missed shielding the shot. As soon as Nomad hit the floor with the Senator, he pulled out his sidearm and brought it towards the source of the hostile. He was in between the hostile's line of shot, so theoretically the Senator was out of harms way...for now.

"Hostile down!" Two of the commandos started moving towards the downed hostile, while the other moved to support Nomad.

"Senator." Nomad looked down, the audio on his helmet flickering to life. "Are you able to move?"

The shot seemed to have grazed across some sort of body armor, and it seemed to have held. It would hurt like hell, but the Senator would be alive.

"Jar, get him up and move him towards the door. Seven, with Jar. Klo, eyes on hostile. Moving to restrain." Nomad rose from the ground as Jar replaced him next to the Senator. With his blaster pistol pointed in front of him, he moved forward with Klo. The hostile had been hit several times, but from what Nomad was seeing the male was still alive.

"Cap, we don't have time to bring in a hostile," piped up Seven. "We should just take the Senator-"

"Negative," Nomad replied, cutting off his squadmate as he approached the male. "We need answers, and he can provide."

He was now two feet from the hostile. No weapon in site. Klo was right behind him, blaster rifle still trained on the target. In a quick, fluid motion Nomad placed his sidearm into his holster and quickly took out a pair of bindings as he crouched down, attempting to shove and restrain the man. If all went according to plan, Nomad would be dragging the man back to the hangar with him.

Senate Building - Near Eastern Hangar

"Senator." Brunswick heard the trooper's voice right above him. He heard the audio on the commando's helmet flicker to life. "Are you able to move?"

Senator Brunswick only managed to let out a groan as he continued to clutch onto his wounds. He tried to thank the squad for their quick assistance, but he couldn't get the words out. He only managed to slowly nod, and watched as the troop named 'Seven' replaced the squadron leader's spot infront of the senator.
He didn't catch most of what they were saying due to his pain, but he heard the last part.

"Negative," came someone's reply. "We need answers, and he can provide."
So they still hadn't restrained Stargo? Groaning, it was almost all Brunswick could do to keep himself from blacking out.

Stargo didn't fight back, he let the clone flip him onto his back to put the bindings on. What the commando didn't know was that during the turning process, Stargo hit a small transmitter on his belt. Soon enough anybody from the CSA or the number of B1 and B2s in the building would come to his rescue, if he was lucky some droidika's will have survived and would make their way to him. The pain from the movement was excruciating, but Zev didn't struggle as a result. Simply he let the clone stand him up and when he did, Zev starred deep into the clones visor with his golden eyes that had slightly faded back to their natural green.

Coruscant - Galactic City & Heart of Intergalactic Democracy - 300 KM High & Descending

The slow revitalization of the Tython Compound had been a factor in prompting Seroth to travel out of system, perhaps visit the Jedi Temple proper in the Core and lend a hand persuading new blood in flocking to the haven. The youth felt encouraged for his efforts, stepping out from his sheltered time amongst the training routines and get a taste for intergalactic travel. ...However, his spirit took on unease. He was approaching the last hour of FTL transit, skimming through Hyperspace, when channels in and out of Coruscant went strangely dead. Despite his repeated attempts at re-establishing a secure Hypernet connection, all he recieved were hypnotic, gargled bursts of machine chatter and electronic whines.

Then came the tremors. Whispers in the Force, that constant background hum of life and cycle, suddenly warped. Tremulous, twisted screams hurtled through the void and slapped his mind. Like jabbing pinces of ice, the sudden squalls of mounting death sent the boy reeling. Seroth was still a hundred kilometers off his routed exit in the usually busied Capital space lanes. It hardly mattered; the Padawan shunted the drive off and watched Real Space tumble down beneath his loaned Gun Cutter.

...Then the killing field of Coruscant's high atmosphere and spacer lanes opened up for him. Seroth simply gawked; the great, gutted hull of a hulking bulk yaught swung by his viewport. Through the punched wounds in its hull, he observed a Paladin corvette get raked with cannon-fire. Brisk blips of scored durasteel buzzed pasts its nose, suffering the answer of its las-cannons. Starfighters, Seroth observed, some of near ancient make and others of a more modern cut. The squad swung about, arched underneath the corvette's firing plane and again harrowed it with fire. Some las-shots must have found their mark, as the Republic vessel pitched starboard, bucking with an explosion.

...Then the squad zeroed in on Seroth's Gun Cutter IF signature. The view-port shuddered, the dorsal plating weathering a blister of fire. The Padawan stamped down upon his gradually fraying nerves, focussing to raise enough shielding to see him through... through whatever plan he could fast concoct. This trip was supposed to be brief visit to the Galactic City, raise a touch of physical volunteers to help aid in Tython's burgeoning establishment. Given that three hundred kilometers below, the cityscape was awash with blitzing fire and long trails of inky smoke, everything had fast, fast gone straight to the Nine Hells. The fighter squad came around, clipping shots off his aft shields as he ducked the Gun Cutter's nose down and took a hard descent for the upper atmosphere.

"This is Cutter Z-9 Iron Snake, to all channels capable of receiving," Seroth forced his voice above the pitched call of hoarse engines as the pursuing fighters darted forward past his view screen. He wasn't sure for protocol. He wasn't sure what in the Nine black Hells was occuring. The nose of the cutter began to bleed hot-white as the atmospheric pressure began building. He cut the shields and eased on the approach vector, hoping his persuers, whomever they belonged to, had broke off to continue their high-liner butchery in the vessel-corpse clogged space lanes high over the beleagured planet. A high spire roiling in thin flames and charred architecture burst from an inner implosion and teetered down through the smoke and cloud canopy. All the way down to oblivion. "Repeat, Cutter Z-9 Iron Snake to all open, friendly channels! Come in, please, who is killing us? I'm able for any required assistance, over!"

As the clones began to tie up Zev a rumbling on the side of the wall occurred. At first only a few cracks occurred in the duracreet, then more and more until finally the wall shattered into a million pieces. Dozens of deep orange lights hovered outside of the room, staring inwards. It was as if they had heard a call. They stared into the room hovering slowly and peering at the clones, then suddenly one of them seemed to drift forward slightly, its eye changed to a yellower color.

“You were designed to be the best.” The Droid clearly spoke to the clones within the room. “Your creator's have failed you.”

Suddenly a dozen bright red beams of light sparked from the Seraphims eyes. They shot forward directly towards the clones, each of the composite beam lasers aiming to slice through their armor and into their forms.

Ascending

The speeder was quick and not having to content with various forms of traffic was nice. However, the one form of traffic that did exist was not a very nice kind. The flying droids were focusing their attention on her. Flying was incredibly difficult. Droids were difficult to dodge as they swarmed her, then there was the laser fire that had to be deflected, and heaped on top of that was that given the size of the speeder the lower side of it was completely vulnerable. So she did what she could. Flying in an erratic way to avoid as much laser fire as possible. Periodically droids clasped themselves to the top of her speeder. In those moments things got frantic. To be entirely honest, she was not entirely sure how she survived many of those situations. Having to focus between fighting and flying. Really, it was just the gift of the Force and nothing else. Selena had no other way of explaining it.

However, every time a Seraphim droid assaulted her speeder it got more and more damaged. Finally one did what they probably should have done originally and instead of attacking her it drove itself straight at her engines. They were too far away behind her for her to defend them. It was at that moment that she knew that her speeder was lost. It she did not lack telekinetic skills she could have pushed the droid away, but sadly her blood prevented that talent from being attainable. As she realized the speeder was doomed and her hopes of rising up into the higher levels of Coruscant was all but doomed she knew that she had to salvage something. Instantly, the speeder veered towards the nearest walkway. Luckily it was empty, Good, people were really putting together the best ideas for survival. Just before it would impact with the ground, she leaped from the seat.

The speeder and Seraphim droid flew past her and collided with the walkway in a brutal fashion. The compromised thrusters exploded and clothed the droid in flames. She watched this before landing on the ground in a roll, which then turned into a crouch as she came out of it. Her silver lightsaber ignited as she noticed a flock of Seraphim droids flying towards her position. As the group descended she surveyed them and thought up a strategy; centering her mind on the conflict to come. Fighting all of them likely would be foolish, but mitigating their numbers while retreating was the most ideal course of action.

Much to her surprise, her comm device sounded. Some message from some individual at the university came through it. Honestly, she was not entirely sure if that was even near her location but she doubted it could be too far given the range on her comm device. What could she do though, the droids were getting closer and would likely engage soon. She needed to focus on the fight and surviving so that she could get away and help people. Help people. She cursed under her breath. This was a person evidently in need. Quickly she pulled the comm to her mouth, "This is Jedi Knight Selena Halcyon, not sure if I am in the area. But if I can I will make my way to your position to aid in escorting you out. No promises though," she eyed the Seraphim, who looked on the verge of attacking, "Things are kind of dicey where I am."
