Fiolette brought her commander screen up once more, the Galewind had fastly become the hard target of the Free World's fleet.

She saw as the change of orders from Denko came through, "right, switch us out to intercept-screen, nexu-orenth-four-zerek."

The Victorian Task Force changed their line up moving to the Bolts to the back while the Muhktiars stayed between the Rakal and the Galewind. The Galidraani then typed out orders on her commanders screen, "lieutenant Farrah inform Commanders Galeway and Montague to activate their jammers. Engage any starfighters with the ion cannons, lock on with rotary once enemy fighters are in range," the blonde then turned the screen upward so she could get a better look at the loadouts. "Can I get a confirmation on loadouts as well?"

"Aye, forwarding orders now Captain."

"Good, let's begin by picking off anyone that chases the Galewind I want our Bolts aiding in the screens." She pushed the commander's screen away from the command chair and stepped crossed the bridge to stand between tactical and flight control. "Ready mass-drivers on the larger vessels once they come in range." A pause, "Thijssen how are we on the gravity hammers?" The Rakal bore six double-barreled mass-driver cannons that now looked to hit any enemy ships that came close, the Rakal sat behind the Galewind with the Victorian Task Force in position.

Thijssen answered, "we are ready and should any of the Free World's ships come close enough they'll find out just how hard they can hit."

"Excellent," Fiolette turned back to the viewport to watch as her ships joined the fray of an ever increasingly intense Battle of Kuat.

[member="Alistair Fenn"] - putting it strongly

Better the devil you knew than the one you didn't.

Had Alistair said that? Didn't matter much now. Kinsey needed a smuggler and needed one she could relatively trust. Though she and Fenn didn't often see eye-to-eye and only tolerated each other, he fit the bill. And well, she was fitting his bill.

Brak grumbled something next to her as she looked over her thinsuit one more time. "No, no rathtar this time. To be fair, I didn't know the Alliance would be there too."

Blues flickered to the barabel's toothy grin.

"It's not funny!"

The ship gave a slight lurch. Must be exiting hyperspace or soon. The young Starchaser wasn't too excited about seeing the Sith again. With the way they were playing this, hopefully they wouldn't have to. Just get some folks out. Nothing wrong with smuggling some OTHER valuables out along the way too. She'd done it for the Vagrant fleet a few times before.

At least this time it wasn't in the middle of the swamp.

"How we comin?" Voice traveled up to Alistair from the cargo-hold.

Alistair barely heard the echo of Kinsey's voice in the cockpit, and for a brief moment he considered not answering her at all.

Taking this job had been a rather big decision for him. He didn't particularly care about refugees and he cared even less about helping them, but Kinsey had made a rather compelling argument in the way of money, at least a form of it anyway. The debt that the Cartel held over him was still more than substantial, and if they managed to pull this off he would make a sizeable dent. That allure had been enough to draw him into this stupid escapade, though he was honestly starting to regret it.

"Two minutes!" He called out as he reached over and turned off the eminent exit alarm.

The Mara II was faster than the first one, something that Alistair was sure would come in handy. The ship hadn't exactly fallen into his lap...legally, but it was his nonetheless. After the first one had been destroyed on that damn colony world it had been a nice boon finding this one, especially considering that without a ship he would have been well and truly karked when it came to his debt.

He was a smuggler, and a smuggler without a ship was like a mechanic without arms; useless.

"Might want to buckle up." They had no idea what was waiting for them, but Alistair was pretty sure it wasn't gonna be pretty. "All of you."

Jaster could not believe his eyes, the pure amount of tank-style ships that entered the system was mysterious in origin. The situration was still coming to a head as he was still very much stuck between the planets moon and the ring and his fleet would not last if they ran for it. He looked to his battle map and he saw no other way of getting out of this in once piece without fighting. The UTC was dragged into another conflict without having a horse in the race. The Mandalorian realized something boiling in his blood that had been rushing through his veins faster then a pod racer. He was excited to be back in the battlefield.

It was at this point that one of his deck officers ran up to the battle map. "Viceroy, their is no more incoming fire, it seems the enemy has seen us as too weak to fire upon."

Jaster stood over and looked at the battle map that laid out the position of the ships around him. The Jamming made it difficult to position them accurately, but his men were veteran Pirate Hunters. Firing on ships with little to no electronic assistance was no different then chasing a light frigate through a Nebula Maze in an Ion Storm. Dangerous, but they were still standing there, and only the crazy could get this done. "Ditch AI Targeting and turn to Manual Targeting, get the Corvettes to put up a Laser Flak Field, I do not want a single missile to get th-"

He was interrupted by the radar technician who yelled up to Jaster from his lowered position. "Enemy flagship crossing fleet bow attacking the Ring and the main enemy fleet is engaging the Coalition Fleet."

They literally ignored their presence and wrote them off by not firing on them and attacking the ring without support. The Commander of the Sith was overconfident and it would seem that a small fleet of Support ships had moved into position to add additional protection to the massive ships itself. The Task Force was still moving into position so he was able to issue the one command to get the ring the protection it needed. "TCS Free Heart," He radioed to one of the Hammerhead Frigates. "Get between that command ship and the Rings, take your beating sailor and transfer your overstaffed skeleton crew to escape post, Gods Speed Sailor."

The Captian Radioed Back, "The Honor of first blood is mine sir."

Jaster then looked out to viewport that showed the rest of the fleet. He was now in position to deal a decent blow to the enemy command ship. "Coms, I want the Soverign and Spearhead make a 30 degree roll Port and get ships to get all their guns on that karking Battlecruiser, Corvettes keep that field in place and lets get those support craft in the air, make sure they are loaded up with Countermeasure Flairs and ECM Missiles."

Their was a roar of, "Aye Aye Sir." that erupted from the bridge and the orders were relayed to the rest of the fleet. He was proud to serve with this fleet and her crew. These men and women were long term veterans within the UTC and protecting the lanes from Pirates, Raiders and even the occasional Rouge Fleets. They were no stranger to conflict as they served in large battles across the galaxy for dozens of reasons, but always carried the banner of the UTC who they were very much loyal to. Trained by his Mandalorian Clansman, they were more then willing to give their lives knowing that Jaster would not let their bodies wonder in space. No sailor was left behind for the man.

"Commence Firing."

Slinking quietly out of Hyperspace beneath the Grand Admiral's impressive array of heavy tonnage Warships is Dauntless Patrol Group of Battlegroup Imperator. Dauntless Patrol Group is a large flotilla or frigates with a trio of Marauder-Class Medium Cruisers moving in an extended line with another rank comprised of Sabre-class and Dagger-II Class Escorts exclusively moving in a forward slope like the tip of an arrow. With his fingers interlinked Dako breathes softly over his knuckles eyes studying the chaotic scene laid out before his gaze; cacophonous laser fire flashes nearby between ships both Civil and Military alike above the valuable Kuati Shipyards. Dako found the employment of Civilian contractors to be distasteful not least among these reasons that he believed the Navy did not require aid for this venture that their under-strength force sent here was a result of administrative incompetence in regards to the management of their supply lines. This was a private inward view held however known only to Dako not even his most trusted executive officer and friend Lieutenant Commander Onami is Privy to Asturo's thoughts on the subject. The Comm Officer looks over his shoulder towards his Officer Commanding and finds a pair of icy, cold blue eyes hovering above a pair of knuckles staring straight in his direction expectantly with his lips pursed firmly together. Swallowing the Comm Officer licks his lips speaking. "Commander Asturo, Grand Admiral Rausgeber is ordering us to activate the Patrol Group's sensor jamming capabilities to disrupt hostile targeting systems."

Dako makes a slow gesture raising two fingers on his right hand with a gentle nod of head and calmly acknowledges the Sailor. "Relay the Order to all vessels and bring all batteries to the fore it looks like the rest of Imperator is engaging that carrier, open fire on it. Twenty-Seconds of sustained fire and then cease fire and raise our shields again." The Patrol Group's laser batteries move to the front and target the distant carrier's port quarter before they send out a series of Green bolts towards the warship; Dako hoped they were in the process of launching fighters so that their shots might have maximum effects on the hull and armour. Breathing calmly he watches the carefully orchestrated assault continue they'd need to sweep aside or occupy any resistance force before they could begin performing their real objective; the seizure of Kuat shipyard assets with a slice of those assets promised to the First Imperial Private Companies who had aided their military on this expedition. The Free World Coalition and Silver Jedi had prepared a meaningful force to oppose them but it remained to be seen if the surrounded government and military of the former had the will to win and fight left to offer tangible resistance, Dako quietly took a certain sadistic pleasure in watching the Grand Alliance's forces be battered beneath their guns as repayment for the lives lost at the Blockade of the Hydian Way. The assault on the Nightingale Dako deduced was designed to do one of two things either force it far away from the combat zone where it couldn't be a threat to the 'reclamation' operation or commit to facing the entirety of Imperator. Dako's gaze watches as their Civilian contractors get to work; minimally armed civil freighters speed towards the Kuat dockyards to literally tear them apart stealing vulnerable modules for the First Order's use. "Sensor; keep an ear out for distinct heavy tonnage cavitation I want to know if there are any heavy-hitting contacts that jump into system I want to know about it." Dako's tone is smooth and calm never betraying the underlying anxiety that nipped at his throat but he was comforted by the fact they weren't here for a protracted engagement just a brief hit and' run, if it came down to it the Dauntless Patrol Group could break off from the rest of Imperator and still effectively cover the reclamation efforts and out-run heavier pursuing Warships.

The cuffs around Saoirse’s wrists were nothing to scoff at. Nor could she really argue with them. She was a smuggler, drug dealer and minor criminal. Their cold embrace made sense to her, as she imagined it would to pretty much the rest of society. Not that she cared. She was in this for herself. Given that, one might expect her to be upset with her current state of affairs. Not in the slightest. It was the knowledge that this was all according to plan that allowed her to so nonchalantly make jokes at the expense of the security forces that placed her and her comrade under arrest. It didn’t exactly get her treated with gentle hands, but you gotta find some amusement in life to make it all go around, no?

Saoirse glanced over sideways towards her companion, his calm demeanour reinforcing her belief that following this scheme had been the right thing to do. It was quite the gamble considering how little she actually knew about the guy. But at least they wanted the same. Probably. Actually, she had no idea there either. Suddenly a voice in the back of her head creeped up, planting the worry that would only continue to grow as their little adventure continued; this whole deal had sounded a hell of a lot more convincing when they had hashed it out together, both drunk on alcohol and who knows what else.

“You do know-” her speech was cut short and replaced by a discomforting grunt as the elbow slammed into her stomach. “Quiet” the officer hissed. She didn’t really know if he was one, but that was how she was going to refer to him. The man was at the very least in charge of the small party, and seeing it transported to the cells.

She noted how the entire complex seemed emptier than she had anticipated. Chatter over comms pieced together in her mind as she listened to bits and pieces from different sources. Apparently Kuat was looking at being invaded, and the shipyard belt surrounding the entire planet became one of the first targets. Sith forces were coming. She would have felt a chill go down her spine if not for the slight blessing that all this was occuring on the opposite side of the planet. Probably the folk here weren’t quite so relaxed about it, and were diverting whatever forces they could to where it hurt.

Daro got walked into his cell, while Saoirse got tossed into hers. From her newfound position down on the ground, she looked up at buddybud Daro, none too happy with his preferential treatment. “Chivalry is dead” she muttered defiantly before collecting herself back up to her feet. Any moment now, the next step of Daro’s brilliant plan would be revealed. She didn’t quite remember it herself. This must’ve been around the time she blacked out. Any moment now.

Daro stepped on through the door, it shut, he turned around and extended his arms through the port.

They unshackled him and Tarsi saluted the 'officer' with a lazy gesture, before strolling on down towards the bunk in the corner of the cell. He settled himself in, hat on his stomach and closing his eyes in kind. This state of affairs didn't continue on for long- not when he could practically feel Reyes' eyes burning a hole through his jacket and making him feel uncomfortable. One eye opened and he squinted down as the sound of the doors shutting sounded through the prison.

"What?"

She stared harder.

"Oh, right, yeah. I suppose taking a nap ain't in the cards, no?" She peeeeered furiously now and Daro sighed. "Okay, okay." A hand appeared from under the hat and revealed a flask of whiskey- strangely enough they had confiscated one like that before.

He took a swig and then sighed contently at the burn starting to churn through his throat.

"Drink?"

It didn't seem as if the old bastard was very much in a rush to get out of here though. In fact, he shifted slightly, groaning a bit as muscles shifted. It had been a trying day as far as Daro was concerned. The hangover they had woken up with... had been intense. Maybe it hadn't been the smartest decision the girl had made- waking up in the trash along with Daro and then deciding to follow along with the plans they had made in a drunk stupor the night before.

Reyes’ stare could not have been more vicious. They were eyes set to planet scorching intensity. Well maybe not that intense. But close. She wasn’t too keen on napping this out, especially considering what was going on on the opposite side of the planet. “We’re not exactly on a holiday, you know? What if this whole thing goes down or blows up because of what the Sith are doing?” Like a long chain reaction quickly worming its way towards them. Life in prison certainly sucked, but it sure beat being dead. Saoirse didn’t want to be dead.

The moment of silence following her statement dragged on as she stared and he held out the bottle. ‘No, I don’t want your karking drink’, is what she would’ve said if she wasn’t a raging borderline alcoholic. “Gimme that” she snagged the flask out of his grip through the bars. She wasn’t above getting a little drunk again while on the job. It was the best way to beat a hangover after all.

“I’m keeping this” she said with an accusing finger pointed his way through the bars before she stepped back into her own zone of captivity. She placed what remained of the flask on her bad, after taking another swig at it. Ohh baby, that burned. “Call it motivation” a little incentive to get him off his bum.

“So then. This looks like a pretty shitty plan right now.” she glanced it between him and the prison doors the guard had left just a few moments earlier. “So when’s your guy on the inside busting us out?” At least that’s what flickering memories told her they were doing. Or… Actually, was she mixing it with their plan to get into that one fancy rich folk’s club that they got kicked out of fifteen minutes in? She distinctly remember him at one point going 'Don't worry about it, I know a guy' “...There is a guy, right?”

She... did not just do that!

Daro stared at his flask now completely out of reach.

See, while Saoirse might have been a borderline alcoholic, Daro was an unapologetic drunk and alcoholic. Capital A really, but that was besides the question. Instead Tarsi reevaluated how nice he would be to people moving forward. Share a flask temporarily and they are going to start taking your flask away. How is that for fairness or nicety? But if there was one positive trait that Daro possessed it was that he couldn't really stay down or annoyed about something for very long.

Didn't see the point in that.

There were larger things to be depressed and alcoholic about as far as he was concerned. "Oh... in a way, yes." He steadied himself, barely, against the wall as the ground shook. One of the Sith's turbolasers seemingly hit its mark that was the Shipyards.

Oh, dear.

He was peering at the set of doors that the personnel had disappeared through now. Studying, waiting, seemingly for someone to arrive. "Soon, soon, I am sure." Daro murmured softly to placate the woman, but also to steady his own nerves a bit. Another explosion far, far in the distance vibrated through them. Then, just as Daro was about to try a different path, something happened. The doors hissed open and out came... a mouse droid sprinting through it.

It immediately beep-booooooped at seeing Daro and rolled all the way up to the bars, before looking up.

Well, sorta looking up.

It's a mouse droid.

"Clip, buddy, knew ya wouldn't leave me hanging here." Tweeeet-tooooo? "Yeah, her too, but she was rude and took my flask, so zap her will ya?" That was accompanied with a smirk as he stretched a bit. The droid went to work, first his cage- using its slicing gear to start cracking the codes. Then once Daro was on the other side it began working on the lady's door. From out of his hat he started pulling out some other stuff- a liquid key, smol blaster (for Saoirse, because feth if Daro could use it) and even smoller flask than the one before.

Just enough for a heavy pick-me-up.

Which Daro just threw over in one go.

Brak grunted and slid his large body into an acceleration couch, bucking up. The tail made him bulge out a bit and it flicked almost like a nexu's behind him. Kinsey grimaced at how uncomfortable it looked. His massive claws braced around the edge of the seat.

"Better go up and join him," she murmured and made her way to the cockpit, sliding into the co-pilot's seat and strapping in just as the streaks of stars shortened to pinpricks. Teeth rattled within her jaw at the re-entry. Silent explosions littered the crowded view ahead of them.

"Inputting the coordinates to our group of engineer refugees now. They should have the packages ready. If they're still alive," a frown tugged along her lips looking at the carnage and debris already littering the battleground of space's void.

"Hope you fly better than last time." Couldn't help the quip.

Were those First Order ships in the fray too?

"My flying is fine." Alistair grumbled quietly.

It was true, the last time hadn't exactly been his fault after all. They had been chased by street gangs and a missile. There hadn't been much that he could do at the time, especially considering the fact that the old Mara wasn't exactly...well it was scrap now anyway.

Best not speak ill of the dead, even if the dead was a ship.

"Here we go." The Smuggler said to himself. "Out of the frying pan and into the fire."

The last time he'd flown with Kinsey it had been all about criminals, bounty hunters, and pirates, or whatever the kark that had all been. Now? Now it was facing down Sith and Kuat Drive Yards. The idea of it didn't really sit all that well in his stomach, but necessity and greed were powerful motivators when you didn't have any other options. So, with a deep breath Alistair pulled back the lever of his hyperdrive.

The Mara II lurched suddenly, and the group found themselves in the middle of a warzone.

Immediately Alistair pulled the ship down and pressed them into a tailspin, diving them beneath the prow of a Star Destroyer that had been cutting through the avenue of space. A string of curses slipped from his lips, but his eyes remained fixed on the viewport. He pulled them to the left, slipping beneath the arrayed fleets and heading directly towards the coordinates that Kinsey had given him.

Zahori's plan was largely working just as she predicted. In previous battles against the Sith's enemies, They always focused on one ship: the one they perceived to be the command ship. She never udnerstood this tactic, but the simple fact that they all followed the same strategy, made things immensely easier for her. The Galewind served as the perfect bait for the operation. Most, if not all of the enemies ships were attacking the battlecruiser, leaving the rest of the Scorchblade fleet free to do it's work.

"Initiate Hyenax-Omega protocol." Zahori ordered. And, just like that, Zahori's hologram disappeared from the deck of the Galewind.

And just like that, the Galewind continued on it's course, only slightly altering it's angle away from the main fleet, but still aiming for the shipyards with it's main battery. While this happened, the rest of the Scorchblade fleet turned it's attention to the shipyards. The Galewind was strong enough to handle the beating it was taking for some time, long enough, in fact, for the rest of the fleet to be free and clear to complete the mission. Once the Scorchblade fleet was in position to fire upon the shipyards, which wasn't to hard considering they were facing forward already, they unleashed all of the guns and missiles upon the shipyards. The relentless onslaught from the Scorchblade fleet came down on the undefended shipyards without mercy. All it would take is a few well placed shots and the chain reaction would commence throughout the shipyards.

Aboard the Song of Truth, Zahori stepped onto the bridge and walked up to Admiral Joriah and the small creature on his shoulder. "It seems my plan went without a hitch. Just like Kasshyyk they have focused their fire on what they believed to be the commanding ship. Meanwhile, the Song of Truth has stood here unbothered and unmatched. The enemy have failed yet again and the Empire will taste victory this day." Meanwhile, the droid crew of the Galewind began scrambling as the ship began to rip apart. Shields were nearly down and the hull had experienced multiple breaches. Yet, the Galewind continued on with it's mission, but it wouldn't be long before it was destroyed.

Kuat System
Hirou had been watching. The plan had never been for the Song to wade into the thick of things. Despite its size, its primary function was as a support vessel. Admiral Joriah was a good pick as its commanding officer, the Nezumi thought. Rational, level headed, not prone to fits of bravado. It couldn't have been easy, taking orders from someone like Hirou, and they knew it, but by communicating and in truth allowing the Admiral to do his job, rather than step all over it (albeit with very tiny feet), the Nezumi and the Human had managed to make it work.

Shields powered to full, fighters ready to scramble if necessary but not putting them out in case they needed to be recalled quickly- the enemy fleet was distant, with so many ships between them and it- they would have plenty of time to respond if someone decided to turn their attention toward them.

Just because Hirou had been given the title of Lord Admiral of the Inquisition Fleet, that didn't make them a naval commander and they knew it.

However, as always, when faced with a new challenge, Hirou did what they always did.

Their best.

"Your experience with them was helpful," Hirou squeaked as [member="Zahori Denko"] approached from behind. The unique capabilities of the Song of Truth had made the deception particularly realistic. By jamming the sensors and comms of the enemy ships in the system while boosting their own, it would have made it particularly difficult for someone to find any way to check if the Zahori had in truth been elsewhere.

Of course, it wasn't as though they had probably thought to look.

"I am sorry about your ship," Hirou added, gazing out at the sight arrayed. From this distance, it was not possible to make out details, but the battle was clearly close to the end for the Galewind.

Hirou had every intention of reporting all of it, in particular Vice-Admiral Denko's plans and actions, up the ladder to [member="Darth Saarai"].

"Have the escort ships on stand-by. They may take their 'victory' in stride, Vice-Admiral, and not realize a switch was pulled. Do you think that likely?"

With paws held at the small of their back and head held high but canted slightly to the side, Hirou cut a quizzical sort of figure. They were trying, very hard, to the point of mimicking in small ways the speech and patterning of the Admiral and Lord Fa. But the way their ears flicked and tail curled up around their side, well.

Hirou tried.

TL:DR
The Song of Truth is located at the far back of the fleet, not closing with the yards or other ships.
System Comm and Sensor Jamming is On.
Continuing the feed advanced sensor data to TSE allied ships.
Shields are at full.
Fighters prepped but not launched.

Out of the frying pan, and into the fire. What had started out as a withdraw had turned into another engagement. A second First Order fleet had arrived behind the moon the Nightingale had used to take cover behind, though even as the ships opened fire, Sentus could only smile. They were being attacked not by heavy warships, but a flotilla of smaller frigates and corvettes. In time they would prove lethal to a lone ship, but Sentus just had to buy a little time. In the meantime, he began issuing orders to the bridge, bringing the ship into full combat. The lights on the bridge dimmed, illuminating the terminals and their users even more. The platform Sentus stood only slowly began to lift off from the main catwalk, rising into the command dome at the front of the bridge. Two hundred and seventy degree viewports dominated the command dome, providing a near perfect visual of the space around the Nightingale. In addition, each viewport section had overlayed sensor data and targeting information, allowing Sentus to see everything he needed at a moments glance.

"Bring all targeting computers online, and begin target tracking. Focus on the lead ships in each group, aim to disable and cripple not destroy. We don't have time to waste on blowing up the debris. Once we have come around to face them, deploy the fighters but hold them back." Slowly, the Nightingale turned to face the new threat, its shields lighting up as weapon impacts blossomed across its surface. The Battle-Carriers fifteen targeting computers, each separately controlled by a droid brain began tracking different targets, and the full firepower of the warship was unleashed. Facing the enemy fleet head on, the Nightingale held its position. Targeting jammers aboard the ship were brought online, making it difficult for the enemy flotilla to target them.

From the rear hangars of the ship, placed near the engines, the fighters aboard the ship began to stream out, the vessels shielding defending the hangars as the interceptors and bombers withdrew to the rear of the Nightingale, using its superior shields as cover as they massed and awaited orders. Occasionally a shot would get lucky, with several fighters being destroyed during the muster, though the majority made it out of their hangars.

Dropping out of hyperspace a short distance from the Nightingale and First Order Flotilla, the remainder of the ninth fleet entered the fray. They had been deployed and waiting for orders just beyond the edge of the Kuat System, and giving them the ability for a quick action response. Moving forward, the Void Wolves began to bring its weapons online, with fighter squadrons deploying.

Starburst-blues widened as the shadow of the star destroyer's belly eclipsed their ship. "Hang on back there!" She called to Brak, maybe more for herself. The Vagrant Fleet member grumbled something about waiting to eat the fist/sized bugs in jars he always carried around.

"Sensors are going haywire. Comms are out," the girl frowned, flipping and jabbing at the switches as her body was rocked and tossed in her seat, against the restraints. Good thing was, she was a Starchaser. She didn't need sensors. Kriff, didn't even need hyperdrive coordinates for astronavigation. She could get them to where they needed to go even if it was the one thing she hated to use. The one thing she wished she could forget she had.

The force.

Explosions lit up the shipyard below like a lifeday fire pops celebration. "Good thing that's not where the offices are. We don't have much time."

She pointed as they nosed closer, stomach lurching. "There's our spot. Brak time to get your helmet on if you haven't already!"

In a way, yes. In a way, yes? IN A WAY!? Her patience was already strained by the hangover she was pretending not to have. When the whole station seemed to shake her eyes narrowed on him coldly, before Saoirse practically exploded.

“THIS? THIS WAS YOUR PLAN?” She wasn’t losing it, she told herself as she was losing it. This whole shipyard was gonna blow any moment now, and they had just barely avoided him taking a karking nap! He was trying to calm her, as well as himself likely (although the least thing that man needed, in her opinion, was to become any calmer)

“You karking right it better be soon, or I’ll skin-” the doors sprung open and she cut herself off, staring with fear and hope alike. But... there was no one there? She looked downwards. “Oh no” This was their grand rescue? A mouse droid?

She was going to go ahead and assume that that zap bit was a joke. She gave both him and the droid another of her cold stares, though she didn’t imagine it would have a great effect on either. Whatever.

Her prejudice calmed a little when it actually went hard to work. “Huh. I didn’t actually know those could do… anything” she mumbled a little in disbelief but hardly protesting at this point.

“Just get us out of here” she turned to the flask she had claimed. She took another big drink from it. “Needed that”

“So maybe it’s not the worst plan in the world anymore” she suggested as her door slid open. There wasn’t exactly a lot left, but as she walked out she held out the flask for Daro. She was finished punishing him for bad behaviour now. And it seemed a fair trade for that blaster.

Immediately she moved towards the main door, leaning against it, other hand holding the blaster firmly and down by her hip. “You talk to that thing? How crowded does our path look?” Time to get down to business

Daro groaned at the shouting.

"Lady, I am nursing a hangover 'ere, can we cool it a bit, eh?" He murmured, but thankfully Saorise did calm down once Clip came 'round and solved all their immediate problems. It made him snort when Clip actually did give the woman a zap. Not a big one, but it would sting her heels. It seemed it didn't like having implied that they couldn't actually do anything. "I would be a bit more polite, luv, cus-" That's when he strolled over to the doors and a hand gesture caused them to slide open.

There it was.

Just outside the security station was littered with a handful of corpses.

Still smoking where Clip's particle beam had burst through them and caused them to ragdoll. "Mah little friend ain't playin' 'round." That last bit was drawled with a shet-eating grin, well, until the room shook again from another explosion.

This one felt... closer.

"Right-" He wandered over to one of the guards and started undressing him. Time to get dirty. The quickest way to handle this was by changing clothes and hope that they wouldn't look too close, what with the shipyards being assailed by the Sith fleet. It didn't take long for them to change their wardrobe from their dirty gear towards the more pristine officer clothing. It didn't do much for the unwashed faces and bloody eyes, but there wasn't much anything could do about that.

Not without a cold shower or three.

"Hangar bay..." Daro started looking the directions up on the locked-up terminals. Slicing through that would hopefully not be a big problem.

The Sith were still very much attuned to their little antics at moving their fleet into attack position over the Kuat Rings. In truth Jaster had little investment in those rings and as such, he only wanted to keep them concentrated on that object and not on his fleet. He was not affected by the Radio Jamming, even the Scan Jamming was little more then a bother to him. The Sailors of the UTC voyaged though the Uncharted Unknown Regions as a Day Job. Maneuvering without power was more of a worry, so shooting Turbo Lasers and Flak cannons was easy. Laser Communications was their way to go, hell even the missiles he was using were dumb proton torpedoes. He was very much old school and relied mostly on dumb guidance systems. He remembered his defeat at the hands of the One Sith at the Battle of Rendilli and refused to use most electronics. He also enjoyed using that weakness he learned years ago on his enemies.

Turning to his Coms, "Order the Free Heart to launch fighter and launch flairs and ECM Missiles." The Hammerhead cruiser fitted nearly 20 Fighter Craft by making room with the Dropships removed. As ordered the Fighters launched from their small bays and cut a turn to B-Line for the line of fire the Sith Fleet. Cutting through the path of the firing arcs, the Fighters launched Flares and Radar Present Missiles to intercept those missiles from the Sith Fleet. Even Civilian Shields could stand against heavy laser fire for more then a few hours. Anti-Capital Ship Missiles however, those could split a space station in half and he was determined to keep those ships from getting their goal.

He was about to relay another order when two more fleet jumped in directly behind him. His IFF Transmitter was jammed so he had to rely on pure gut feeling. He chose to keep his attention on the Sith Fleet still very much ignoring his presence, and he wanted to keep it that way. "Helm, give me a 15 degree dive Port, I want to get under their Firing Arc and these bad boys cant bring full might to one side." He was still in a spin and was finally able to bring all weapons onto point, and lay full turbo lasers on the fleet of the Sith Fleet. Ignoring the Introdictors was part of his plan, he was not looking to escape, he was Mandalorian After All.

"Fire all batteries on the Lead Ship, keep fighter in loose formation around the fleet and in defense stance, I want anti-missile and projectile warheads in tubes and stand-by," He looked up from his Battlemap and grabbed the edge of his holo-projector table. "Winds are in our favors ladies and Ensign Clamiens," The Female Coms officer proceeded to give the Viceroy a gesture of less then lady-like means while still proceeding to give out the orders. "Lets sent these Sith to their beloved Force."

Rausgeber watched the manoeuvre with a sense of pride. Not that it was an unexpected eventuality. The Jedi cowards, who had decided to run rather than dare face the Imperator in the field of combat. "Keep tabs on that vessel," Carlyle commanded, the Sensor Officer. "The Silver Jedi's tactical repertoire relies on underhanded trickery, and bizarre flanking attacks." Attacks of course which not work with a singular vessel, but still, it was something of note. Should the Coalition manage to somehow summon a relief fleet, the vessel would undoubtedly be apart of some rear ward attempt to crush the civilian task force here. Something Carlyle was not about to allow. "Continue forth upon this vector, we'll clear up the outlying shipyards."

However, with the cowardice of Admiral Olan, Battlegroup Imperator was allowed to proceed forward. As they did so, Rausgeber watched the pitched battle between the Sith Empire's expedition and local Kuati forces. The droid noted two things. The first being the ring of Kuat. The grandest of all the shipyards in the Galaxy, retaliating against the attack, with ion and turbolaser fire. The second, was perhaps more so a note of curiousness. Although he had not realised it until now, but there was a Sith super star destroyer. One, which eclipsed every vessel currently deployed in orbit. And it just sat there, at the edge of battle. It struck the Grand Admiral as strange. Perhaps some stratagem was afoot, one which would reveal itself to the First Order in good time. But still, to hold such an asset in reserve.....

Imperator now pressed forward, with the Nightingale cleared from their path, the fleet now continued forward, closer and closer to Kuat. The civilian contractors made quick work of the outlying infrastructure, disabling it, and then sending it back to the rendezvous point. Every little bit trickling back to First Order industry and the construction of a new, greater Empire. The Grand Admiral's eyes now turned to the great ring. A true technological marvel, and the fleet before it. The droid frowned, as he watched a mismatched group of vessels before the ring, firing at the Sith. "Do we have any identifying marks for these vessels?
" Rausgeber inquired.

There was a pause, as the Sensor Officer formed a reply, analysing the data at hand. "They seem to be Mandalorian Grand Admiral," The young ensign replied, "Independent traders, belonging to one United Trade Company." Intriguing. And they had chosen a side. But would they engage the First Order? He could understand the Sith. They were merciless. Brutal raiders. But perhaps there would be some civility offered to arguably, a more pragmatic foe.

"Proceed on this course, move us closer to those vessels, and the Kuat ring." The autonomous Grand Admiral commanded, "We'll break it apart, and haul pieces back." He commanded, "Those vessels there," He gestured to the UTC, "They're traders. Mercenaries. If they know what's good for them, they won't fire."

"But Grand Admiral," The Helmsman began, "Sir, what if they do commence fire." A smirk pursed Carlyle's holographic display, and he allowed himself to, for a few fleeting seconds, act smug again.

"Well, we'll liquidate the United Trading Companies assets." He purred, with a small bark of chuckling following up. Battlegroup Imperator now slowly pressed forward, and began to now close in on the United Trading Company fleet. The First Order vessels did not open fire upon the Mandalorian crews, and rather had their guns concentrated elsewhere, on the great Kuat ring. Already, the remaining freighters within the sector, were now skirting around the ring, deploying ion munitions, attempting to disable any shielding and defences, for the first initial bombardment to break it.

"Grand Admiral!" The Sensor Officer snapped, "Enemy vessels reverting out of lightspeed, Silver Jedi sir!" The ensign barked. Rausgebers brief smirk, turned into a scowl, as he turned to the holographic display, and watched the fleet deploy. The display snarled at the intrusion. Couldn't leave well enough alone, could they? Now, again, as with Ossus, the Silver Jedi needed to be subjected again to the wrath of the imperator. However, he took some solace. The Jedi commander was again a novice. One who had most likely, expended his reserves in favour of an all out assault.

"Turn us about, and see off the Silver Jedi incursion." Rausgeber barked. The First Order vessels were superior in nearly every way compared to the shipwrights used by the Jedi. Imperial engineering had alone brokered victories against this type of scum, and now it was once again time to prove this. "Captain Horstice," Rausgeber ordered, "Prepare your artillery vessels to begin attacking the ring, break it off in chunks, while their shields are disabled by our comrades," Now Rausgeber's attention turned to Commander Asturo, "Jam all their targetting arrays. We're reinforcing you."

A barrage of turbolaser, and missile fire now began to throw itself at the Silver Jedi fleet, aimed in particular at the larger command vessels. Cut off the head, and the body would fail, was a doctrine which had proven itself time and again. At Omega. At L-49, and during the Ison Corridor. And the Silver Jedi, were theoretically more susceptible than most to such attacks. They were weaklings. Ossus, Felucia and the other battles, which had broken their backs, had proven this. History showed their convictions were weak. That their spirit could be broken. And now, the simpering runt of the litter, Admiral Olan would join the long list of those broken by the discipline and zealousness of the First Order.

"Blind them
!" Void Wolves were now to learn a mighty lesson which would, through the infliction of casualties, never be forgotten. That when facing the infamous Sixth Fleet, there was one thing that you could do. Remember them. Through the pain and suffering afflicted, through all the wreckage, and devastation bought on by charging a superior armed battlegroup, through counting the cost of all the lives lost in this act of hapless aggression.

They would remember them.
