The Sacking of Zeltros

Corvus was happy for Kana to do the talking. She'd played the silent game the last time she'd met Balaya and so she was going to do the same again - if she could.

The mask was no doubt redundant, as the Sith Lord could almost definitely recognise her even if she couldn't see her face, but Corvus kept it on anyway. Elarara's shoto, hanging from her belt would be a give-away even if her Force signature didn't.

So she waited for Balaya to act. Or more precisely waited for the Force to tell her when to react. She suspected the Sith Lord was in less of a mood for a chat than last time - but she knew the subject of the Padawan would be raised, and Corvus had to steel herself not to be goaded into action.

Balaya looked upon the pair of jedi, a small smile playing across her face now as she stood there and looked upon both of them from above in the hanger. The sounds of screams came ripping through the ship as her spell continued to work and handle the crew, her eyes remaining purple as the cybernetics tracked the two girls. She brought her hands up towards the back of her head and lifted the warden's cloak off her shoulders allowing the armored bikini to show (the crystasteel plating transparent) her mane of fiery red hair falling down her back to her ankles. The mass of muscles, flesh and weapons showing while she seemed to bulk a little getting taller.

The anticipation was there, this is what they were building up to as she took a lightwhip from her belt and uncoiled it slowly not taking her eyes off the two. Kana speaking up only made it more interesting as she finally spoke. "Arrest? Is that so? Well I guess you got me jedi... I'll go quietly." The smile played up now showing white teeth while looking over to Corvus. "Ah come on now sweetie don't you want to speak? Elara screamed your name when she was being tortured and then her master appeared, seems Kana here such a lovely girl helped her to fall to the darkside and she wanted revenge. It isn't as fun to hurt your family though.... but Bellalika saw reason."

Balaya was moving now to the side a little and the whip with its reach being near twice her length for show went along the floor still deactivated. The muscles rippling as black veins where she was focusing the darkside showed. She wanted to push it upon them and spoke a little more. "She and her padawan are now kept on Coruscant in the dungeon. When they are ready we'll send them to handle you but until they fully embrace the darkside I guess I'll just have to play with the two of you won't I." The snap hiss as cherry red light coiled on the floor in the large whip and then it sparked, the small containment unstable and flares of hot plasma jetted out where it could escape.

Balaya moved her body letting it drag across the floor and go for a lash at the two of them as her free hand grabbed the saber hilt on her hips. The darkside focused and at the ready while she moved pivoting to let the lash reach out across the ground area and towards them to try and bisect. "Hahahaha" She let the laugh come from her throat while raising a hand at Corvus and as the whip tried to lash and hurt them her energies rippled pulling at the mask to try and expose her face or rip it from her with a painful jerking motion. Kana was the one who might talk more and that would be fine she had seemed easier to manipulate and she was one who had been hurt on Ossus.

Corvus remembered that whip. The last time they'd met, it had caused her all sorts of problems. As well as Balaya's various toys. What is it with the Sith Lords? The more power they seemed to have, the more things they tended to hide behind.

And she was right, Balaya recognised her straight away. And the taunting had started. How to work that into her favour? Like a cardboard villain on some old holo net video who had to spill the beans on their master plan - who simply underestimated the hero. But Corvus wouldn't take Balaya too lightly. And she knew Kana wouldn't either.

So...Elara hadn't succumbed? Corvus took heart at that statement, some of the guilt she'd look to bury deep lightened. But she remained impassive, silent and kept her emotions under lock and key. Let Balaya goad her until it was the Sith Lord that made the mistake.

The whip was arcing towards her without warning. Corvus head snapped backwards but it wasn't enough. She'd been too focused on herself and hadn't been listening to the Force. The mask was literally ripped in two and a trickle of blood started to flow from a cut beneath her bottom lip.

Xavier didn't hesitate, he never had. Ramming the blade of his saber through the abdomen of an unnamed redshirt that no one would miss besides other redshirts, the umbaran's icy blue eyes narrowed in anger as his foe fell without challenge, the Jedi's saber clattering to the floor. Walking slowly forwards the acolyte moved towards [member="Darth Praelior"] in silence, the black and white paint of a skull on his face. To his back was a squad of stormtroopers, 'dad' would've been proud, never leave home without some of the 501st. "Ma'am." The teen greeted, nodding to the Sith Lady before turning to the Jedi, and waving for his troops to assume firing positions.

"Surrender now, last chance." Xavier offered mockingly as the five troopers dropped to a knee and raised their rifles. His orders were clear, pop off a few shots then move, the jedi would butcher them otherwise. It would be a waste of assets.

EDITS BEING MADE

Balaya was taller than Kana had expected. A lot taller. The cloak came off and a half-naked figure stood in front of them. She had to hold back the remarks. ‘The credits hasn’t been thrown in yet’ itched at the back of her mind but she suppressed it. Acting smart would get her burned and she knew it. The woman’s attempts to goad her into something failed. Call it cold but there was no regards for Bellalika on the woman’s mind. She had tried her best but she had refused to listen. If the dark side was her way to go then so be it.

Remaining calm was all she could do. Making the first move would be unwise, especially against a presence like this in an environment like this. As the whip snapped to life so did Kana’s saber. She pointed it at the ground and placed her feet at shoulder width. She would have bowed but there was no time. The whip lashed out at her and she raised her saber to block it.

The woman’s laughter mixed with Corvus’ bloodied lip made her spike up for a second before calming down. Distance, distance and control was important. Letting go of that fear more so. Kana took a deep breath and nodded at Corvus. They would have to separate, too tight and they would be an easy target. However, too far apart and they’d be easier targets.

With a few careful steps she slowly approached the Sith Lord in front of her. This was the part her training had built up to, this is what it were meant for. She focused on her opponent and took a few more steps forward. She had to get within range to even be able to hit her. She was only wearing a bikini, that’d be her downfall. Of that Kana was sure.

EDIT:
Then came the stormtroopers. A surprise to say the least. Kana hesitated for a second but they all seemed willing enough to ‘Order 66’ them and that was certainly not something Kana would agree to. She backed away from the Sith Lord and focused her attention on the Acolyte and his troopers instead.

“Oh? Well I thank you kindly.” Kana offered as equally mocking back. “Tell your men to stand down or I won’t have any choice but to take them down.”

She struggled internally to believe she had just said that. That didn’t feel very jedi-like.

When the child sagged, Kiskla could feel the soft rise and fall of his chest as if it were her own. His mind had been freed from not only Vornskr, but of mostly everything entirely. Gloved fingertips braced each side of the infant’s head as she tilted it to look back at her — only to receive a mostly blank stare. The time for generalists had come to an end, she needed a specialist. Someone who could genuinely assist in the well-being of the kid.

Her brows knit at the words of [member="Marcello Matteo"] as she rose to stand. Leaving the kid behind felt incredibly wrong, especially since he had been the primary reason for her being there. An arm bent beneath his knees and he hung over her shoulder, blinking dumbly. She wasn’t sure if this is how one leveraged a tiny human, but nothing seemed to be too uncomfortable for either party, so this was likely fine. The fact that the bowels of the establishment promised more victims was the only thing that kept her standing there.

“There are more down there.” Kiskla murmured, shifting her weight to adjust for the unnatural cradle she’d adopted. There was a very large likelihood that the victims [member="Darth Vornskr"] had in his grip were much like this kid, and it didn’t matter if she pursued him or not — they’d all end up at the fatal ultimatum. But this trap was not a one-way street; if the desire to draw was strong, it would follow.

She looked at them, with the appearance of another sith Balaya didn't let her eyes drift from the two jedi as she let the pieces of the mask go to the floor and the whip slide along the ground coming back to her. Balaya didn't need to move she just tensed her muscles for a moment prepared to strike out again as she stepped forward looking and focusing her whip on Kana and lashing out again. The red lash coming to try and wrap around her blade and swip at the girls face. She wanted to get a feeling for their combat experience and her hand came out towards Corvus again sending a crackling of blue white lightning. It rippled down her arm and the armor protected her as she sent an arc with a flick of the wrist pushing the force as well. Her mind focusing on what she knew from fighting jedi and stopping lightning was easy enough... stopping a push with it could prove more deadly.

"Can't say I didn't warn you." The teenager chuckled, raising a fist then jerking downwards, signaling the men to fire. Each of the five lined up their sights and pulled the trigger. Red energy bolts surged towards [member="Kana Truden"] as Xavier brought up his saber and flipped the second ignition, the second crimson blade extending out of the bottom. Arcis was gone. The one bit of family who'd truly cared about him, now he had to carry on his name, and he would start by killing (or trying, lets be realistic here) Jedi with his saber. It had been passed down to him along with the rest of his father's possessions.

After firing the troops dropped back, they'd provided his distraction. Surging forwards Xavier swung wildly at the Jedi's torso. His skill with a blade certainly could have been refined, all he had was rage. But he had plenty of that. As he thrashed at the Jedi with the double bladed saber, following the wild slash with another from the bottom blade, the icy blue eyes began to have crimson flecks appear as the boy delved into his pain and anger.

Objective: Beat the Sith down, keep them off the air. Command NPC forces wherever her's are still alive.

The fight was going poorly on the streets. There wasn't much Camellia could add to the combat there anymore. It would depend on those with their feet on the ground and deep in the fray. The officers there, the squad leaders, the Jedi, the local militia. It was done to them to handle that problem. The communications hub and the issue going on onboard her Hammerhead Cruiser were her primary concerns now. The Rendili woman began scanning everything, every camera, every report. Anything that needed to be checked and could provide them with any support at all. Her forces in the communication hub were finished setting up their barricades and traps. Anyone coming inside from the back would have to slog through tables, cabinets, chairs, and the like, stacked up in the way, hiding tripwire explosives, claymores, and even grenades with their pins set to be drawn. The soldiers themselves in their position from before with their final plex launcher rounds loaded, and saved to only be fired on the sith himself again. Blasters were drawn for anything else and to add more fire on the target when he arrived.

At the front side the Jedi was being pressed on the defensive. Camellia hoped he didn't retreated blindly backwards, traps had been setup and she hoped he just assumed such. His battle was difficult and only growing worse, but there was little she could do herself to add to the situation, but perhaps give him encouragement and a lie. She would open up speakers over the hub so that anyone inside would hear. "Master Jedi hang in there! Don't let her drive you back, its a bit pakced, and its imperative you hold out a few minutes more! We've received news that allied reinforcements have broken the lines outside. Squads should be on their way shortly, they're busy with only a few holdouts outside. We'll also divert support from the other side since we drove off the Sith from the back, if you kill her before then though I guess you'll have all the heroics to yourself then won't you."

She hoped he could understand the last sentence. No help would be coming, the fights were too deadlock. He would have to kill her, and hopefully scare her off before those "reinforcements" never arrived.

Others would receive reinforcements though. Kana Truden and Corvus Raaf were being hounded, and it was quite unfair for another sith to show up so suddenly unannounced on a ship others worked so hard to breach. Troopers onboard having already locked down the vongspawn with the bulkheads had followed on more orders to clamber through the ventilation, and they were ready to strike, entering the hanger from behind the Sith Stormtroopers and firing at them as the group turned from their lowly dishonorable attack on the Jedi Knight. The three Rendili Trooper squads entering the hanger moved for the cover of docked ships and containers as their fire lanced at the stormtroopers, their accurate carbines unlikely to miss much. The Stormtroopers would no longer get free reign to roam and disrupt the combat, and they would quickly perish if they didn't move.

And any that thought the Rendili troopers would just die on a whim would be a fool to doubt any trained soldiers dedication and will. If given the chance, they would take the shot at the Sith in such ways as the stormtroopers had, it was only fair after how the Sith were apparently content to issue such orders as well.

Christian Slade

In Darkness I Thrive
Christian listened to the man with long blonde hair who had arrived, honestly somewhat surprised that he was a Jedi by the way he was acting. Aside from his presence in the force, which told him exactly what Marcello was, Christian wouldn't have been able to pick him out as one thing or the other. That was why, when Christian glanced back at Kiskla, watching her take care of the youngling she had just salvaged, he started to see what was going on.

He was making the connection between the two of them, seeing that it must have been a romantic one based on how they seemed to be fighting with gestures and glances and even feelings towards each other. It was quite delightful to play party to, in fact, which brought a smile to his face as he glanced back and forth between Kiskla and Marcello before asking a salted question, "Trouble in paradise?"

There was no way he could be sure that these two were lovers or significant to one another or even cared for one another just a little bit, but the tension there was stifling and the moment so raw. It was all Christian could do not to laugh and laugh, regardless of how they would react.

Corvus felt uncomfortable. Death was inevitable - it came to everyone - but it should come at the hands of a Jedi as absolutely a last resort. But to defend against the troopers and simply deflect their bolts meant she was allowing them to continue to fight. To change target until they came up against someone unable to defend themselves.

And so, discomfort aside at the path she was obliged to take to complete her mission, her saber snapped into her hand from it's previous position on her belt. Activating it with a quick flick, the violet blade hummed into life and she stepped up and into the line of fire as the troopers were targeting the woman standing next to her. They'd sparred together countless hours - and often against other Jedi as well as droids. Their teamwork was seamless. No words were spoken - they didn't need to be.

Adopting Form V, Shien, Corvus didn't just block the blaster fire, she quite literally punched it back at the troopers. She didn't look to see where the bolts went, the Force was guiding her actions and she trusted in it completely.

And then the troopers fell back and both Balaya and the boy took their opportunity to attack. Unlike Corvus and Kana, they worked independently. There was benefit in splitting their attention but it lacked any co-ordination. The boy was as likely to be hit by one of Balaya's attacks as either of the Jedi. And Corvus' implicit trust in the Force allowed her to know Kana would initially deal with the Acolyte as she focused on the Sith Lord.

She sensed the double attack from her foe. No, the Force informed her, she just listened to it. Her saber sprang instinctively to block the lightning, whilst her recent training in Force Valor allowed her to quickly somersault away from the powerful rush of energy that would undoubtedly have knocked her off her feet had she stood still. Her landing was a little clumsy, but she was at least on her feet.

Having been nearby the spaceport, Tugoro would feel the powerful dark side aura, one that came from [member="Darth Praelior"]. There were also two other force signatures, though these ones were far more familiar, not to mention light. [member="Kana Truden"] and [member="Corvus Raaf"]? His original plan had been to head towards the palace and help in it's defense, however Tugoro had never gotten around to it, the building still far off in the distance. Still standing upon one of the many rooftops around him, the youth's neck would crane to the sky/spaceport and the Hammerhead cruiser that was above/within. Aboard the ship, coincidentally was Strike Squad, a group in which the young Padawan had worked alongside for many months now. One member however, was not with the others, that being the leader who was known as Rogvon. The soldier's jetpack would cut off as he touched down on the rooftop, beside the young Jedi.

"Sir, Silence and Suppressor are within the spaceport/hammerhead. Shall we join them?" The youth would pause for a moment, really weighing his options at this point. [member="Kian Karr"] usually did a good job in holding his own, however Corvus was not exactly known for such after Alderaan. At least, in his mind. Tugoro was sure that Kana and Coruvs had gotten stronger, however it couldn't hurt to show up just in case. "Right," the boy would conclude, nodding as he turned to give the soldier a confident, determined nod. The Padawan's legs would bend at the knees, as he pushed off the rooftop, the force propelling him into a enhanced jump. His armored form would soar through the air, landing upon the hammerhead/spaceport. His legs ached slightly from the impact, even though he had managed to soften it with his telekinetic prowess. Whipping out one of his sabers, the Jedi would quickly activate it, wincing as the crimson blade sprang into life. Hopefully no one mistook him for a Sith.

The plasma blade would stab into the metallic hull/roof of the ship/building. The extended length of Tugoro's saber would begin to carve away as he pivoted on his foot, eventually allowing him to descend through the framework, and into the corridors/hangar. Landing upon the shiny floor, the young Padawan would begin to survey his surroundings quickly, noticing a blast of lightning, a whip, and [member="Xavier Vi'dreya"]. The Acolyte was actually charging at his position, had he been expected? Taking a quick glance behind him, the youth would spot Kana, who was most likely the target of this Sith's attack. Sensing the dark side empowerment that the Acolyte was currently under, Tugoro figured it would be smart not to take the blows head on. Swinging his saber up from his side, the youth would allow it to collide with the Sith's own, applying slight pressure while allowing his blade to slide upon his opponent's own. Redirecting the blow just barely, the youth would continue his Soresu maneuvers, keeping up his momentum as the second slash came from below. Tugoro would continue to employ his prowess of Soresu, standing firmly as he swatted the attacks away.

Kian Karr had returned to the main chamber of the palace and had gone about tending to his injuries and rallying the troops in that area. So far the palace had been relatively unaffected by the Sith attack on Zeltros, with the exception of the attacks from one of the Sith leviathans. However, the palace was a heavy structure, designed to take a beating, so while the beast had done some serious damage, it hadn't gotten anywhere near the main chamber....but it would in time. Worse then that, Kian was beginning to sense the approach of the Starweirds closing in. Kian hadn't ever dealt with them before, but his knowledge of them indicated that they attacked telepathically. As a Telepath this put Kian in danger.....but it also meant he could fight back.

First Kian met with the chief of security and heavily armored troops and battle droids, along with some heavy artillery were issued to help drive back the leviathan. It was doubtful that it would stop the beast, but it would perhaps by time. Then Kian knelt down in front of the door and began to stretch out with his mind. When he found the first of the starweirds, he immediately threw up barriers to protect himself as the creature began to force scream at him. Kian didn't know how to hurt a starweird, but as they were telepathic he assumed telepathic attacks would work.....it wasn't like they had a corporeal body that could be destroyed.

Please, abandon your cause....return to the stars. Kian's words would echo in the creatures mind. He wasn't sure if it understood him, but he put feelings into the words so that even if it didn't understand his words, it would understand his desire. And Kian did desire for the creature to leave. It wasn't because he was afraid of facing it.....it was because he didn't like hurting any creatures with telepathy. Telepathy was his gift, given to him from his species and the force, and he believed he should only ever use it to help others and to defend others....not to harm.

Please don't make me hurt you. Kian repeated, but he was met with more screaming and a flash of pure rage. Realizing he had no other choice, Kian went to work. It was a tiring task, and one he wasn't entirely sure would work. First he constructed a cage of telepathic energy, wrapping it around the starweirds mind, protecting himself and others. Then, with a burst of willpower, Kian drove that cage tighter and tighter, crushing the mind of the starweird. They were beings of the stars, and if hurt enough, he believed he could drive it back to them. The starweird fought him ferociously, it's mind battering at the cage, but Kian held strong. With a final push of effort the starweird screeched and then vanished.

Kian slumped back against his arms and felt a waive of exhaustion wash over him. That had been a very hard effort to do. As he lay there gathering himself, Kian heard more screams in the distance......there were more starweirds coming....

Kana would have reacted to the troopers firing but the whipping of Balaya had her occupied elsewhere. Thankfully Corvus was ever the helpful jedi and managed to take care of it just fine before Tugoro of all people became part of their equation. While unexpected it was still something that felt right. Corvus and Kana did not have a problem with the newly arrived Acolyte as much as they had with Balaya.

One could almost go as far as to say that the fight was just meant to happen. As if Corvus and Kana were supposed to fight Balaya and Balaya alone.

With that Kana reacted to the whip as it came her way. Saber raised to defend herself she struggled if only a little to keep her grip of her saber. Another strike and Kana dodged the small tendril of the whip that reached out for her face. Now Corvus had said that luck didn’t exist, that the force was everything. However, a dodge like that made one think twice about such a statement.

The distance between Kana and her Sith opponent was still too great. That is unless she wanted to strike at air which in this situation would be beyond helpful. The only way to close the gap would be to approach her and Kana did just that. Step for step she took it slow and careful as she fully expected the Sith Lord to try some dirty trick on her.

Staying unpredictable was a hard thing to do. Besides, how would one go about and be unpredictable in an approach?

Elara hadn't found many at the com hub, the bodies there were decimated and vaporized but retuning to the streets she saw them all now, fallen soldiers from both sides going after anything not giving off a darkside aura, graug that caused the ammo of the soldiers to run out as their friends attacked and overwhelmed them making them bleed into the streets. The fallen leviathan the one soldier and his man killed after it was injured stalking around and attacking everything with the glycon that was missing sections of its body. They were not just going after the streets they were overwhelming them through sheer numbers. Fight and fight some more but in the end numbers can win out over others.

Then she was moving off now and standing on a roof as she looked outwards towards everything and clenched her fist in approval. They were adding to the forces and the blackblades were moving, the graug were moving and those massassi that had been killed were rising up to go after the ones who had attacking and killed them. The unseelie were twitching and moving but they were already half dead, the soldiers Camellia swift had brought into the port were not expecting them at first as several of her soldiers got bitten and overwhelmed. The blackblades leading the charge against armor they found with heavy weapons while the glycon attack leaving the graug to direct and funnel the dead towards the remaining soldiers like a black tide.

Location: Palace.

The palace was being destroyed for a while by glitter, as the starweirds continued to attack the leviathan used all of its massive size to smash walls and crush the soliers. The familiar flying around and projecting the spell raised the fallen as back up for the sith forces as it moved large hands into floors of the palace chasing down people. The pincers closing while it took sections and beat them aside, scream being heard as it ate things within. The best protection from an air strike and gunship being that they would be targetting the palace just as easily and causing more damage to the jedi inside. That was the advantage needed as Glitter tossed a section of palace into a grouping of gunships that were holding and its large arms took down another section.

Its large leg crushing another section while it dug going through the walls and leaving a wide gap for [member="Darth Helios"] to go and kill the exposed throne room. A fifty meter beast rampaging into standard materials was going to win and zeltros didn't plot for battles they used their natural defenses to win... It would mean the standard defenses and the large amount of republic forces here was a surpsie as the leviathan roared missing the other large beasts of the one sith. The alderaan palace had been dropped by the worm of Val'ryss and this was would be trampled by him as Balaya watched through the familiar and spoke directing her control out to the beast. 'Destroy the palace, leave only the dead to roam around.

Balaya saw another padawan arrive as she stood there and moved her feet. The approaching jedi... not the pair of them had her lightwhip deactivating and coming back as she coiled it around her stepping forward and drawing a saber. The dark'chyld crystal in conjunction with the pontite she found on that ship making her feel stronger as it started hurling insults as Kana and activated. A rainbow colored blade that shifted colors but was still a greater size as a duel phase saber. Extending nearly three meters and giving Balaya more reach then she might need but it could and would make dodging the blade by jumping backwards kind of hard.

Her other hand rested on her hip for a moment making it look for a moment like she was assuming a makashi stance to fight another saber wielder and Balaya slashed with a quick one using her length and her size to her advantage to get a good angle that would slice into the ground behind Kana attempting to drive her forward into her other hand that ejected talons and held a small blade tipped with sith poison. (small by her standard) She was seeing corvus but with her a distance away it meant she could make them pay dearly for a lack as it were of vision and showing of power. Balaya prepared to if she came forward to avoid being decapitated to slash her and get the sith poison into her blood stream.

She also had the alternative, blocking the blade was being used with her strength and she was a warlord, her strength was surpassed mostly by beasts and creatures like a gorax and a solid blade that didn't bend and give like her whip would be like a speeder crashing itno a person... It wouldn't be pretty while she spoke finally letting her words come out sweetly but coated in pheromones and darker emotions. She wanted them to bring it forth, she wanted them to give in and show her how strong they could be. "Oh come now little Kana, show me what you are made of and lets see how strong the jedi have become. I already faced two of your masters and they bowed at my feet begging to join the darkside. You'll be on your knees by the end of this as well."

The clone looked down in to the city and saw a group of stormtroopers moving thro the streets. he looked thro his scope and breathed calm and slowly, "about 1000 m, no wind and no bullet drop." he aimed for one of the stormtroopers heads and started firing. the recoil felt almost like a hard push into his shoulder. "holy...this bastard is powerfull" he kept on looking thro the scope and saw the bullet penetrate the troopers head, the other stormtroopers were confused on what just happend. the clone saw the chanse to kill the rest of the squad in there confusion so he started shooting one at a time all in the head, after about 5-10 minuts the group of stormtroopers was dead. "easy" he grinned then reported it inn "we got squads of stormtroopers moving thro the city."

As the blow came down, he sank down then leapt up, using the force to carry him over the Jedi and coming down behind the other boy, his back to Xavier's, albeit with a few feet between them. Thumbing one of the ignition switches, the front blade collapsed as he jabbed back with the rear blade, hoping to impale his foe and be done with it.

As for the troopers now engaged by the squads of [member="Camellia Swift"], they rolled into cover. They weren't grunts, stormies were elite, special forces, and they wouldn't be so easily cut down. "Det out!" Cried one of the troopers, hurling an armed grenade at the troops facing them. Accurized carbines didn't keep bombs from going off.

"452, 9982, covering fire!" ordered the head of the squad, his underlings complying and peeking out from behind cover to let out automatic blaster fire. It wasn't going to hit anyone, but it would keep their enemies head's down long enough for them to follow up with more deady response.

Palace
Objective: Save the royal family, abandon the palace

Kian had destroyed another two starweirds, but the process had left him exhausted. Plus the crumbling sound of the beast ripping apart the palace was getting closer and closer. It was clear that the palace was no longer a viable option. Rising from his rest, Kian grabbed the chief of security.

"It is time to go, get the transport ready." Kian said and turned toward the security door that lead deep below the palace. It was below, in the bowels of the palace that the royal family had been in hiding. Racing through the doors, Kian and a group of guards made their way down into the security chamber below. As they went down, the screams of the starweirds and the crumbling of the palace seemed to fade away.

"Ma'am, it is time to go." The security chief said to the queen once they had reached the lower level. The queen looked defiant and for a moment Kian thought she would argue the point, but then there was a thunderous shudder that tore through the foundation and a look of fear took over her face. Clearly a large part of the palace had just fallen.

"Very well." She said turning and taking her daughter by the hand. With that Kian and the guards escorted the queen and her family through the tunnels towards the emergency exit of the palace. It would take them out into the wooded area behind the palace where hopefully they would be able to grab transport. Kian just hoped there was a way to get the royal family to a Republic ship without the Sith noticing.
