[Civilian Bunker 2-B] --> Soon to be En route to the Sanctuary
Post: 4
The sing-song voice of the woman-child before her caused the pale-skinned woman to stare. It was an odd reaction, however, after a moment or two, she realized that the girl was actually in shock. In that respect, she began to ignore the rest of the drivel that left her lips and instead focused on the problem at hand. She was depending on [member="BX-25233"] to watch their backs while she delved into areas of the Force that was…Rather unknown, to both herself and her Master. It was only through watching [member="Katrine Van-Derveld"] and the Grand Master of the Silver Jedi that the idea even percolated in the first place.
If Force Drain could restore her Master…Could not Dark Transfer bring this slip of a child back to equilibrium? It seemed, after the deed had been done, that her hopes were correct. The deWinter girl seemed to feel better, almost immediately, though the white-haired Apprentice was skeptical. She feared the damage that may lay within. Hurts, or bleeding, and Srina had not been able to mend. Part of her wondered if this had been a ploy to bring her close, to drain her, to reenact the same traitorous notions she had indulged on Haseria. This was the creature that had stabbed Darth Metus.
Were she not important to Katrine—Srina may have simply let her wander into the woods and die. Someone so disloyal, no matter the circumstances, or the spirits involved, was a sickness that ought to be exterminated at the root. Still. The Echani woman owed Katrine a great debt for her treatment and attentiveness after Tatooine. She would do this for her. And for
her alone.
Srina pinched the bridge of her nose when the nigh youngling began to speak. She couldn’t tell if her sudden headache was due to the childish rambling that spilled from [member="Scherezade deWinter"] or due to the energy that she’d expended trying to seal the wound on her abdomen. She felt unsteady, as if in a haze, but she refused to let it show. With the avatar of [member="Darth Metus"] perched on her shoulder, she refused to show weakness. She would not borrow strength and wisdom from her Master and repay it with inefficiency.
The white-haired woman rose a singular brow when she was defied, and in turn, the loyal BX-25233 leveled a sword in the direction of the little brunette. She rose her hand to signal that he lower the blade.
“Stand down…Don’t undo all of my hard work, Captain. I doubt I could heal her a second time.”
Silver eyes flickered to the girl, mercurial, and unyielding. Srina Talon, as some put it, was
no fun at all.
“Your will to fight is admirable—But you must understand that I am no healer. I have stabilized you to the best of my ability. Extreme activity could cause newly mended skin to tear. You could wind up exactly where you were, only this time, the beasts will be here.”, she explained softly, filled with infinite patience. As unnerving as the girl was, it was possible, that she simply didn’t understand. “
The creatures will have a hard time following your scent if you’re sealed in a transport. I did not intend to walk.”
“Katrine is currently working on the source of the problem. Baiting all of the wildlife at once could be…Problematic. We will report to Sanctuary. If you are cleared you may return to the battle.”
A battle, which hopefully, would soon end. Srina hoped that she would hear from [member="Katrine Van-Derveld"] or someone in her party soon. Their forces were spread out among several villages and cities. The droids could continue to fight almost endlessly, but the organics, did not operate with infinite energy.
