To the beginning.

As they entered the compound, Ferin gave a respectful bow to Alex, sensing her wish to leave him. "It was a pleasure to meet you miss Cinthra." With that, he turned and waked off, looking for something else to occupy him. With a place like this, there was no doubt that he could find some job to take the place of his duty as an escort.

Vulpesen however was far more stationary in his movements. He hadn't left the room and instead was simply sitting on the same seat as he talked to his parents, laughing over some misadventure they had gone through. The table where Carliah had set the snacks now lay half bare as a great amount of it had been eaten during the conversation. Despite the laughter of the Torrevaso's, Vulpesen sensed Alexandra's presence and her unsettled feelings which quickly took his attention. Turning his head, he gave her his full attention. "Is something wrong Alex?" His parents had noticed as well, turning to face her as they sat in their own seats.

She blinked and instantly she removed the emotion from her face and presence. "Uh no, i just was out for a walk is all, by the way, Ferin has a prisoner that seems to have gotten away with it." She would take the seat next to Vulpesen and sent a message to him through Daeda that they could talk about this later, but not right now. "So what is it that you are all laughing about?"

Vulpesen's eyes narrowed slightly at her words, but once he received her message, he gave a nod and went back to his relaxation on the couch. "They were just telling me about one of the times they had to work together before they were on the same side, some pirate made advances on her and well... lets just say my father showed him his less jedi side."

It was clear there was more to tell, but before Vulpesen could go deeper, his mother stood up, patting her husband's knee. "Well, I'll let all of you discuss other stories. For now, I think I'll go question our new guest." Despite the obvious implications of her actions to come, she smiled sweetly as she exited the room, her bright red tail waving in anticipation.

She took her hands to the table and watched as the woman left the room, eyes drifting to Vulpesen and speaking. "Remind me never to piss off your mother... she certainly knows how to make someone uneasy with how... calm she is about the prospect of talking to the prisoner..." She looked over at his father and smiled though, the statement half a joke and very true at the same time. "So, what is this about your story?"

Garen watched as his wife walked away then turned back to Alexandra. "A couple of centuries ago, Carliah found ourselves on the Endor, some backwater forest planet. Well, I was there to stop a warlord from using the local ewoks for slave labor while she was there to sabotage his operations and assassinate. Well, needless to say our goals were in line, even if I was supposed to try and take him prisoner if he refused. So, when we first met, I was in the middle of negotiations when one of his machines was blown to bits. Now I was surprised, but nowhere near as much as when that red-haired lady burst through the window, pointing a red saber at his heart. A short duel later, he ended up running off and Carliah was raving mad that I had stopped her. Well, over the next week I found out that he had no wishes to let the ewoks go. So, me and Carliah came up with a plan. Wasn't long before we had the little guys free. Then when we got him cornered, Carliah cut him in half, and as angry as I was with her I'll never forget her words to me, 'Now he can pick on them. He just needed to be cut down to size."

"Huh... That is one is certainly one interesting sense of humor... I assume he has yet to hear how we met, or rather came to be in close contact Vulps? If not i can tell him and im sure you would be interested to learn how we came to be in our current situation." She smiled as she hinted at the whole time travel business, though she really hoped she would get the chance to explain, so that she could add some interesting details.

Vulpesen turned a bit red at her question. "Actually, I seem to have forgotten all about that. Please, go ahead." He leaned back as he waited for her to recount the events that led to this moment. Of course, Garen also seemed interested, his ears moving slightly forward to pick up every word. As far as stories went,t his would be a rather good trade-off for him.

"Well you see, it all started on Zeltros..." She smiled as she looked at him and purposefully gave him the chance to cut in, otherwise his father was going to learn what techniqually caused Vulpesen's fall to the darkside after recently learning that the whole thing had happened right before he joined the Sith. She would tell the truth though after he butt in or not, though she was more than happy to share a laugh if his father thought it was as funny as her.

"WOAH WOAH WOAH! Lets save that one for another time. Even zarro hasn't heard that story yet. He turned to his father. "Alex is trying to get me in trouble. In truth, it started in the shadowlands of Kashyyyk. Alex, how about you tell them the story of how we met, and not the story that might get me strangled." As he finished talking, Garen spoke up, smiling. "So I take it Zarro's been doing alright. Good to hear, especially since he did a good job with the task we gave him."

"Fine fine, ruin my fun fox Face..." She rolled her eyes and looked back at his father before thinking back on the day. "Lets see, i was there to assassinate some man, you were there to protect him and a third was there as a hire on for some wookies right? He was a fun one to chase and when you joined the fray you were a pain to get around. I mean sheesh, if you weren't there, that guy would probably dead. But yes i followed you and him, arriving and projecting my voice around you with a bit of illusion to it, keeping you off foot... did you even get him out of there, last i remember the Mercenary captured him while i was arguing with you."

Vulpesen shrugged. "I was there to facilitate peace and the hunter was helping us trace him, Though, he didn't get far with the whole, 'I'm gonna kidnap for a bounty' Idea. I just held my saber to his neck until he diecided he wanted to keep his head. Funny how few people can recognize a practice lightsaber from a real one. Other than that, you're right on."

"Right, then the next time we met was fifty thousand leagues under the sea... or was it years in the past?" She looked at Vulpesen and smiled as she continued to speak. "We got to witness the rise of the Infinite Empire, or atleast that how i understood it in the end." She rubbed her chin and looked at the man beside her for a moment and smiled. "Point was we got to experience the end of a empire and the riser of another, that was after i left the Sith though and the first time me and Vulpesen were on the same side."

Vulpesen smiled as she mentioned the problems with the crazy space queen form the past. "In the past. Essentially, we ran into some powerful being that created an anomaly in the space-time continuum, causing us to ump back in force through the galaxies timeline. And after that, Ale somehow kept on running into me, or she'd call me over for a favor like helping her make a new lightsaber. After that well... it was only a few meetings after that that we actually started to fall in love."

She nodded and had started messing with the fabric of her robes, twisting it in her hands as she smiled at the Zorren. "Ya, a few balls, some training, and even my finding this fox faced fool had become a Sith, something he decided was something that he didn't want others to know but something that he can't really protect too well in my mind if you simply see Ace."

"Well, it helps that I keep Ace hidden in battle, so no jedi can find him." He leaned back on the couch, his arm wrapping around Alexandra. Garen however, leaned forward, his golden eyes catching Ace as the Ashlan peeked his head out at the mention of his name. "And what exactly is Ace? I've been around the galay before, and I've never seen anything like him."

She was more than happy to talk about the Ashlans seeing as Vulps was taking a moment after bringing up Ace. She nudged her own ball of white fur and the single black stripe out of her robes and smiled as she started to speak, daeda coming to sit on her head. "Ace and Daeda here are Ashlan Wolves, unique species on Mykrr that Vulpesen himself introduced me to and Zarro had introduced Vulpesen too... dangerous and smart the two of these guys are."

Ace puffed up a bit as Alexandra called hi dangerous. Obviously he preferred that over the normality of being called cute and cuddly. "They bond with another species to hep them survive on the hostile planet usually Ysalimiri. However, Ace and Daeda had the fortune of meeting us, and after we bonded, well they started to travel with us across the starts."

Garen listened intently to each of their words, his tail waving back and forth behind him as a sign of curiosity. "Very intersting. Perhaps when everything clears up, we'll be able to import a population here, give them another place to call home." After he finished, he asked a question that by his tone, was obviously nagging at him. "And what is the name of Zarro's Ashlan Wolf?"

To this, Vulpesen gave a small laugh with his answer.
"Credit, of course."

She would look at Ace and smiled as she poked at his pride. "Ya, ive never quite seen Zarro's Ashlan, or Zarro in fact, but you can certainly trust in these creatures and their bonds. They do tend to get a bit strange though, I think Daeda caught a bit of Hel in him, and Ace over there took on Vulp's pride in being dangerous." She smiled at the Ashlan for a few more seconds before blinking as she had realized she had said something very strange. "Uh... ignore the Hel Comment, not worth explaining."

Garen grinned and reached out to Ace, who after a nod from Vulpesen, leaped to the elder's hand. "Strange indeed." As per her wishes, he ignored the comment about Hel. "And when Vulpesen finally gets his head straight and introduces you to his adoptive father, then I suggest you bring some gift from another planet. Something odd, he loves that stuff. Should put you on his good side."

Vulpesen let out a small laugh. "Sometimes I'd come home from the market with a new toy, and Zarro would be the one who spent hours playing with it." He motioned towards Ace. "They actually hold a strategic advantage. When an Ashlan bonds with another person, they share a link that allows telepathic communication. Through it, Alex and I can speak to each other when we're miles away. Actually, before I really got to seeing her a lot, Ace had a part in saving me from a pair of crazed sith who were torturing me to death."

"And it prevents eavesdroppers and sith from knowing of our words between each other, allowing for some understanding and generating a sensation of understanding between each other without the intrusion or alterations of others." She said as she looked at the ceiling and then back down at Daea who had seemed to have returned to her side.
