To the beginning.

Garen nodded and finished his food, those around him doing the same. "True, the force does tend help one in the places they cannot naturally reach." With a wave of his hand, he dismissed the majority of their company, leaving only several men who seemed dressed a bit better with symbols on their coats, some with that of wings others with eight pointed stars. "Now then, with pleasantries out of the way, perhaps we should truly start to talk about our plans. You know, actually figure out what we're going to do." To that, Vulpesen gave a nod and moved his plate away, making more room to talk. "And what we have to do it with."

Alexandra shrugged and stood to walk around, speaking before letting them talk about their plan. She worked best when the orders were done with and she had a clear objective. "Hey Vulps, im gonna go for a walk, i want to see more of this place... uh Garen, is there anyone that can show me around and tell me about your people?"

Garen nodded and called a man from a the corner, a young Zorren, likely in his low twenties. A young face and bright red hair which matched his tail. "Ferin, show our guest around." He turned back to Alexandra. "And I'm sorry, but you won't see too much of our surface til we reclaim this pllace. For now, feel free to explore our little underground."

Alex started to leave, pausing for a moment to kiss Vulpesen's cheek before continuing on out of the home and smiling a bit more as she looked around. "Ferin Right, give me a tour and tell me about your people please, im a bit lost with everything and i would love to get to know more about your people and your culture."

Ferin gave a nod and started forward, taking a moment to watch the two outsiders as they separated. Though they were underground, the Zorrens had managed to create quite the home with a sprawling city under the surface of Veradune's forest. "As you wish. And I can't really blame you for being at a loss. You see, we're kind of known for being strange in our mannerisms. Its one of the major reasons we were evicted by the league of bandits." His tail flicked lightly behind him and his tone was friendly enough. "You see, we zorrens are built with a rather strange instinct. Its to defend others. We can't help it, we simply must protect. However, it can manifest in different ways. For instance, Lady Carliah's manifested in such a way as to that she hungers for the power to control people and make safety. Of course, that's also a bit of a defect in her mind. one that Lord Garen his not only managed to see past, but he has also managed to ease, if not fix it."

"That is called being a Sith and in the case of Vulpesen's father, thats simple patience. Sorry, err, i don't mean to be rude, but do you understand the difference between Sith and Jedi, what i mean is have you come to learn about the difference or is that aspect of the greater galaxy as lost on people here?" She still wanted to learn about the Zorren as a whole, but now she was curious on how much was known about Sith or Jedi by the Zorren people, infact he had given her a perfect opening to get a good warning about the greater universe that might not have been too extensive as of now.

Ferin let out a small laugh and continued walking. "True, they are an odd couple. As for knowledge of the two, Garen and Carliah have filled us in on the basics. But, they never really informed us as to the details. Please, feel free to explain. I only know the very basics of the philosophies. Then, there is the other parts of the galaxy. We get transmissions from the exiles but such things aren't exactly sufficient for us to know everything."

She nodded. "Well you see, the Sith and the Jedi are not exactly friendly people on a daily basis, infact their history together is more often filled with blood and destruction than anything. The Sith were once actually simple dark Jedi, exiled from the Jedi for their studies on life and how to control it... but as all things come to be, that exile was quickly turned into bloodshed. The Dark Jedi found the Sith Pureblood species and took on their name for themselves, soon after waging war with the Jedi. This turned into a Genocide caused by the Jedi... then the next six thousand years bring us to now, it was a six thousand years of bloodshed and something that continues today, it is rather amazing that those two came together."

Ferin nodded and continued walking, his tail swishing behind him. "The feud was something we were aware of. As for some of those rather bloody details, I'm sure there's more reason to them. I find it hard to believe that Garen's order killed so many for little reason. In any case, is there anything you would like to know about our people? I'm afraid I might have neglected my reason for being here."

"Hmm... Tell me where the best place for a garden would be, oh and which trees and flora are most common in this region if you can." She seemed to have shifted completely, eying a low branch and then looking at the white head of her Ashlan Wolf companion, having a silent chat which resulted in her rolling her eyes. "Oh, and is there somewhere i can grab something small for this guy to eat, it seems he was asleep during the meal earlier."

A wishful look went across his face for a moment as he walked with the sujbect of this tour. "Well, I'm afraid you wont find anything but food gardens with us. The most beautiful gardens were found in the Tenevi Temples, but we aren't exactly letting our spy networks devote time to something like that when there's more valuable intel. As for basic trees and Flora, we mostly see Teradin trees though you should be careful because on the occasion we might find ourselves around a shrookin. He let out a small shiver. "Terrible things and that's why we should try to avoid them Don't worry though, I know how to watch out for them. I might just teach you and the young Torrevaso later."

As for Daeda's wishes, he let out a small sigh. "I'm afraid the only place to get some real food is where we just came from. You see, we aren't living underground by choice. The bandits didn't just take our city. They took our planet. They aren't just here and there. They are actually the government, the police, the army. If any of us are found, we'll be killed or exiled if we're incredibly lucky. Unless of course, they need some slaves, but even those poor souls are worked so hard they die in months. And that's if they're resilient. Even now, I cant take you too far throughout the forest. One, there's dangers beyond our territory, two there are patrols out there that sometimes go into our little hide away, though they never go far enough to find our actual home." His words held a melancholy tone and it was obvious that the loss of his home was a pain to him. "I hope you and your friend know what you're doing. I cant stand this. I want to see the temples. I want to be back where I belong, instead of hiding under some forest and in some hollowed out tree while these thieves live like they're the kings and we're nothing but simple pests."

"Thats two very different things in which you just said, knowing what we are doiing is something you should never expect from him and I. You see. if we ever actually followed the plans, i would probably still be a Sith and instead of helping you, subjugating you for the glory of the Sith and yadayadayada. But as for getting your home back, that is something i can assure you will happen, no peoples should ever be subject to a genocide that leaves so many of you like this... and as for these forests, you just got to look on the bright side, lots of places to rest upside down in."

"I see. Well, so long as we get our planet back I'm alright with that. And its not that we don't like the forest. You'll see our capitol is in the middle of one. The only problem is, we have to live under this damned place." His tail lashed out. "My parents told me tales of that glorious place. I just hope its as wonderful as the stories say when we get there. Or at least that we can repair it to what it once was."

"Im sure it was beautiful, don't worry about it though, if i know Vulpesen, he wont rest until what he cares about is safe and if i know him that means all of you should be free within the month." The kid was an interesting one, grinning as she remembered a certain thing about the Zorren race from what she had figured was probably true. "By the way Ferin, how old are you?"

Ferin grinned and continued on at her assurance, but as she asked the question he simply shrugged and stated the fact as if it were normal. "Five hundred and forty-three." His footsteps continued to crunch against the leaves. "Pretty young as far as Zorrens go. Though, it was Garen who led the last crusade half a decade before I was born."

"And uh. How old do Zorrens live exactly..." The simple words caused a cascading of pain on her now, keeping a calm face though as she walked with him. Her mind was talking to Daeda though, as he realized fully what had been said and the problem that will arise from her current being. She tried to keep the sadness of what she knew what was about to be said, knew that what he might say could mean that she would be without chance to survive as long as him.

"Around five thousand years old. Some I've a bit longer, but that's our average if we die by old age. Most of us, or at least those that are left, die long before that. Dangerous life being one of our kind. Even before the whole genocide incident as I hear it." He looked up and his ears pulled back a bit as he noticed her expression. "Is something wrong, miss?"

"Huh oh uh, nothing... i think we should get back, something suddenly feels very very wrong..." Her hand drifted to her side, something was wrong she just couldn't place it. After all she sensed no one, heard nothing, what wa- wait, she heard nothing. Just the wind, but no animals or anything, that was what was wrong and now she was a bit off step, eyes shifting. "Is it normally this quiet?" Her hands tightened on the blades and her eyes drifted once more around them, looking for the cause of the silence.

The zorren's ears flicked and he reached behind him to pull a long knife from his belt. "Now that you mention it, the birds are silent. Lets move. The bandits may not know this forest, but they do know how to use those guns of theirs." A change went through the "young" zorren with jut a moment. His hairs went on end and his lips curled back in a natural snarl. His position became crouched and his golden eyes scanned the trees. "Where are you?" The words were hardly a whisper but there was a tension behind them.

"Awww, the dog think its threatening..." Several came out around the corner, dressed lightly and with light steps, their weapons obviously modified to also be more blended in with the surrounding and to not cause too much glare from the sunlight. "And whats this, she isn't one of you is she... now where did a human come to be with you dogs?" The one talking was zabrak, though his armor was a mixture of Besker and durasteel, showing off the armor he had taken from his prizes.
