Wake Up

Kira Talith

Kinetic Communication at its finest my Chick-e-dee
"Wh-What are you doing!?" came Kira's cry only to be swallowed by the frenzied kiss Devin gave her. She could practically feel the smirk that hung on his lips, the blasted man kissing her and tightening his embrace around his wife.

Her hands found his shoulders, half pushing him back and half laughing at his persistence.

"We are supposed--- " another kiss broke her claim. Nibbles played on her lower lip.

"-- to get ready!" there was a hard metal ring digging against the curve of her left buttcheek where he perched her upon, but Kira paid it no mind. The man was on a mission clearly.

"You are such --" another kiss swallowed her protest amidst snickers and giggle.

Soliael clearly didn't care.

"So what?" He asked with a wide grin. "I can do whatever I want!"

He was being petulant of course, silly, but petulant. "I'm big I can do whatever I want!"

His fingers laced around her, hands settling on her hips to hold her in place. He kissed her again and again. Kira objected of course, well, in a joking manner, but the two of them had been together for so long that this was...well simply natural. The two of them were just in sync, no two words about it.

"Muahaha!" The mock evil laugh came again as his hands slipped beneath her shirt and jacket.

"Hey, hey hey!!' another giggle and then Kira gave a shriek as his cold hands went drifting over her bare belly.

"By the FORCE your hands are cold!!' she exclaimed, trying her best to wiggle free from her husband's grasp only to be held tight against him.

"Hey, hey!!" more lips went drifting along her neck and then a nuzzle of his nose right along with her skin.

"Devin!! -- hahaha." a snort came out. Couldn't help it.

They were supposed to go explore the ice planet below, but the Talith seemed to be content at being silly and claiming his wife along the holo array.

Her hands came up to fall flat along his shoulders, trying her best to push him back.

"You ... hey! Quit that!"

[member="Kira Talith"]

"No!" Soliael answered as his hands began to roam all over his lovely wife.

Through the ring Kira would be able to feel his humorous mood. The light of joy within him, the smile that was on his face even as he buried himself in her neck. His hands drifted over her skin, his fingers tightened ever so slightly as she tried to move and wiggle away off of the console, her butt jamming up against some of the buttons she had been deposited on.

"You will do my bidding!" He claimed as he slowly began to kiss her neck. "As my thrall!"[/color[

His fingers flexed ever so slightly, his teeth sinking just barely into her neck as she squirmed.

"As your what?!" thrall??! Another button poked her butt and she wiggled and squirmed while laughing.

"I am not! Hey, you little ... " she attempted to free her hands, using her smaller frame and deft movements to try and slip them free. Maybe even poke at his sides and give the Talith a taste of his own medicine.

He was powerful yes. Strong. Nearly towered over her a full meter but she had dexterity and agility in her favor. Teeth bit down and she laughed as the scrape made her shiver and squirm, tickling her as well as fanning a flame that would be shared between them both.

"This isn't exploring the planet be... low, Devin!"

[member="Kira Talith"]

"It's exploring." Soliael said as he pressed his lips against her neck once again, ignoring, or attempting to ignore, what she was trying to do with her hands.

"I bet there are parts of you I haven't explored." That was very probably a lie. They had been together for over twenty years now, two decades of basically acting like teenagers meant that they had...plenty of time to figure out pretty much everything between them. There were no secrets, nothing that they hadn't revealed to one another. It was the simple nature of their relationship, a marriage filled with equal parts love and lust. "Now shhhh."

He gently kissed her ear. "You're supposed to be my thrall."

Fingers played over her tummy.

"No arguing." They slid over her hips, grabbing her and pulling her tight against himself.

"Don't be -- DEVIN!" her abrupt laugh and protest suddenly was swallowed up as the blare of a warning klaxon came in.

Incoming.

As they had both had worried before, the pirates had been scoping along the various systems, trying to set up their own bases. The knowledge of a large ship as the Freya was not going to go unnoticed, especially since they'd just left the Jedi temple world.

Alerts had spread across the Rishi Maze, and now they were on the hunt.

Soliael let out a groan of displeasure, his eyes immediately flicking towards the scanners which were half covered up by Kira's butt. He frowned for a moment and then used his grip on her hips to scootch his wife to the side. "Pirates."

The drive signatures from The Freya's automatic scans told him as much.

"Need to get back to The Freya, Honey." There wasn't a hint of worry in his tone. Even if the Pirates immediately fired on their ship they wouldn't be able to take it down for quite some time, automatic Point Defense systems would kick in and if they really needed it Soliael could transport himself back to the ship to take out any boarding parties. He'd rather not have to do that, mostly because it left Kira behind, but it was an option.

"I guess they're a more serious problem then I thought." He said as he drew back away from his wife.

He scowled slightly. They wouldn't just be able to leave this alone.

Kira immediately jumped off the sensor, slipping away from her husband's grasp to sit down on the pilot's chair. The sudden shift of silly and amorous was plan to see etching itself over Kira's face. Alam and focus.

"You have got to be kidding me." she uttered, hands and fingers drifting over the shuttle's controls.

"Just how many pirates are there out here?!" she exclaimed, adjusting shields and using the piloting yoke to try and get them back to the Freya.

Of course, that's when they began shooting right at them.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"It's only one ship." Soliael said as he read the sensor systems. "Unless you mean in this galaxy."

That was an entirely different matter. The Rishi Maze was an entirely different galaxy, and unlike in their galaxy things were pretty wild out here. There was no galactic governments that they knew of, no outreaching systems, nothing that they could really identify as a safe haven. All they knew was that these pirates were here, and that they were here in force. He frowned slightly, shifting to the left to look at his wife as their shuttle went bucking to the left.

"Just get us back to The Freya." He told her, his voice neither urgent nor strained.

"We'll take care of everything there." Soliael was getting really tired of interruptions to his vacation. "Maybe figure out where these guys came from."

Go straight to the source and end it.

"I meant in general out here." she gestured, a hand waving around as a Lorrdian was typical to do. Kira always spoke with the entirety of her body, relaying emotions, intent, thoughts, and feelings. With Devin and her so in tune now, he didn't need the gestures to know what went on in her mind and vice versa.

The right just added more oomph to it.

"Doing the best I can here, babe." the shuttle gave another shutter as it was struck, slinging Kira off to the side within her chair.

"Beans!" she cursed, blowing the blonde hair away from her face.

"They are persistent little bugs."

By now the automatic systems aboard The Freya had already begun to fire back. Turbo-laser turrets and a few missiles bays had already begun to fire, and Soliael could see the slight blips float across the sensor screen as his ship began it's assault. "Well they want your stuff."

Soliael said as he grabbed the edge of his desk to keep himself from shaking.

"They probably need a new wardrobe." Another shake of the shuttle. "You have a lot of costumes, dear."

He smiled at her, trying to lighten the mood.

Soliael still wasn't overly concerned. If their ship incurred more damage he could take them aboard The Freya and they would run again, but he didn't want to have to do that. This was their only shuttle, and it would ruin the rest of the trip if they had to land The Freya on every single planet they touched down on, if only because the ship was almost three hundred meters long. Not easy parking that thing planet side.

"I highly doubt they are after MY costumes, brat." Kira added, flashing him a pointed look. "Or maybe instead of mine they want yours." after all, Devin did have quite the little collection from their mutual romps. It wasn't just a one way street here. They both enjoyed themselves in whatever game they decided to try out.

"Almost there." she added, guiding the shuttle up towards the Freya. It could potentially provide come cover fire, but if they were hit by a particularly powerful missile, their shuttle could end up crashing down onto the icy planet below.

Soliael never particularly liked traveling on starships. There was no fear of them or anything of the sort, they were simply...well binding. He couldn't do much of anything when flying a shuttle like this. He couldn't even use his skills in technomancy to guide them any faster, that would've triggered...whatever it was that followed around his family when it came to these things.

It bothered him immensely that all he could do was sit and wait, but...well that's all he had. "You're doing great, Honey."

At the very least he could encourage his wife.

Kira wasn't the best pilot in the galaxy, but she was more than good. After nearly three decades of ferrying around an entire family and with all the stresses that came with such things...well she had learned to eek out some of the distractions.

Soliael only wondered if screaming missiles or kids were worse.

"Are you trying to go for the best husband of the year award?" Kira teased Devin, doing her best to keep focused and fly them to the ship. Of course, this did not mean that her sassy self would be gone. No Kira would continue and make random clips and banter back-and-forth with her husband if she had to. Even when they were currently being shot at by missiles from the Pirate ship.

" can you tell what type of ship it is?" Kira ask him, wondering exactly what they were facing off with. The shuttle shuttered again, but at least the Lorrdian was able to avoid the incoming ion and concussion missle.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"I have that award locked down for the next three centuries." Soliael said as he leaned back in his chair, realizing there was literally nothing else to do. "There's not even any competition."

He let out a relaxed sigh.

Then Kira asked him the other quesiton. "uhh."

A frown passed over his lips as he leaned forward again. His fingers quickly flicked over the sensors, a frown pulling at his lips as he tried to figure out just what was shooting at them. For a second the sensors couldn't read the IFF tags, and quickly they flashed across the screen.

"Huh." Soliael said quietly. "It's an old Gladiator Star Destroyer."

[member="Soliael Devin Talith"]

Well, that was big.

Something Devin likely didn't mind Kira saying aloud but in this case, didn't reference anything pertaining to his immediate presence.

"Great." Kira sighed out. "Watch for any incoming starfighters." they were close to the Freya now. A quick tap of the console in front of her and the blonde angled their accent towards the hanger bay.

"Almost there.... just keep it together." Not that she was worried about anything happening to the Freya. It was just that sensation of feeling like a sitting duck in a shuttle that irked her.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"There aren't any." Soliael said in regards to the starfighters. It was an odd thing, considering that Gladiators were carriers, but it made sense in a way. They weren't facing down a fully fledged government, they were fighting pirates. It was entirely possible that they just didn't have the pilots to actually satisfy a dozen fighter pilots. Not to mention fuel and everything else that went with such things. The Destroyer was enough to cause most people to stop fighting.

"Don't bother for a soft landing, Honey." Soliael told her. "Just get us down and head towards the bridge."

The Freya was already firing back, but this wasn't a fight they could win. "We need to get out of here and do some scouting."

It was the only way they would win this fight.

"Aren't you the one who can fly this ship with the Force?"

Devin always had a knack at bragging about that. It had been done before by the former False god. Having him do so again wouldn't be an issue.

Either way, hard landing indeed. It was a little bit rushed, and perhaps she could have made it a little bit of a smoother ride. However, time was not on her side, and she doubted that the Pirates would be keen on letting the Freya get away easily.

"You'd be able to fly us out of here sooner!"

[member="Kira Talith"]

He smiled. "Well when you ask so nicely."

Soliael kept the patience and calm in his voice, and through the ring Kira would be able to feel a well of stillness emanating from her husband. There was no need to panic, at least not yet. It was best to stay calm and collected, even when the situation seemed as dire as it was now. The shuttle shook one more time.

"I just need to touch the nearest console." He told his wife. "So I can access the hyperdrive."

The curse, thank force, did not apply to vessels as large as this.

"I can take care of things from there." The Hangar bay of the Freya was drawing nearer and nearer.
