We Meet Again

Ashe Senari

I was raised to be a weapon, but I was born to be
Ashe was sitting in the gardens outside Onderon's Royal Palace. She was tired after her long trip and had decided to spend her time relaxing in the gardens with a datapad in her lap. She had modified it so that it could be used for drawing. She was currently using it to sketch the palace and the gardens surrounding it. The peace and quiet was a new feeling for her. She enjoyed it. She never had much time to draw back home, and silence wasn't very common when your mother was an Echani General. Her life was occupied by training, training, and more training. It was nice to be away from home, and to have time for herself. @Yusan Fenn

"Hmm, id give it a four, out of three." He smiled and looked down at the datapad as he looked over her shoulder and seemed to come out of no where. He liked to have a bit of fun with these noble types, his time as Eshan's senator had allowed him to see over a few of them and this was one of the few he had met before, his eyes studying the image over its artist, curious.

Ashe sprung off the bench she had been sitting on. She spun on her heel gracefully and immediately dropped into a fighting stance. She was about to swing, but stopped herself with her fist raised ready to strike after recognizing the speaker. "Yusan..." She said simply as she relaxed her stance a little bit, though not fully. She was trained to never drop her guard, even in the presence of those she believes allies, you never know when someone may betray you. She studied him as she wait for him to speak again. He smiled, all too wide and moved around the bench with his hands crossed behind him. He was in a black fiber armor, his eyes focusing in and out on her, crimson and cold, but also calm and calculating as he had watched her drop into a fighting stance. His own body moved around the noble, as if inspecting a soldier or sheep for the slaughter. "Ashelotte Senari, it seems that luck has a way of repeating itself, to what do i owe such a coincidence?"

"I got tired of being told my only role was to be a weapon..." She replied, keeping her voice steady and her expression guarded. She knew he was studying her and she refused to appear weak in front of him. She kept her features completely calm and stood up straight as he circled her. She kept her head up and flipped her hair back over her shoulder to reveal more of her face. "I've not seen you in awhile either... Tell me Yusan... What have you been up to?" [member="Memorial"]

He grinned and produced the cane that he now used, extending it to its full length and leaning on it, his hair being pushed out of his face to reveal heavy scarring where he had been burned. His unnatural Crimson eyes stopping and looking at her own face as his metal hand clenched on the cane. "Six Assassination attempts, two false charges of being a traitor, lost my hand to the Black suns, i have a minor limp thanks to the Sith, oh and my face is a wonderful gift from a former enemy... so the same old, you?"

Ashe hesitated for a few moments before removing the light brown glove from her left hand. Scars marred the flesh from her elbow all the way to her finger tips. "Mandolorians got me with a flame thrower... I can barely use the hand... I repayed them tenfold I assure you. They'll never walk again... or breath for that matter." She grinned slightly as she spoke, her right hand unintentionally falling to rest on the hilt of her vibrosword. She studied Yusan for several more minutes before asking her next question. "What brought you here?" [member="Memorial"]

[member="Ashe Senari"]

"The Recent creation and supplication of a stronghold containing a defense force prepared to give its life for the Republic. Simple as that though i am more interested in why a bird such as yourself found your way to Onderon. I would have thought the Hapes would suit and Echani female Noble better..." He caught both movements, the hesitation and the movement to her blade, and did absolutely nothing to change his own footing. If she felt threatened then she would feel a hundred times that if she thought she could defeat him even with himself out of his armor. Infact his leg's limp was completely faked at this point, using the cane and fake limp to make people drop their guard or to underestimate him.

"I hitched a ride on a random ship and it brought me here... My parents didn't exactly approve of my little journey. Better to avoid the places people may expect me to go, right?" She replied, dropping her hand to her side once again. She was a trained weapons and hand to hand combat expert. She felt no threat from Yusan. Besides if her harmed her, Eshan wouldn't be too eager to welcome him home. She shifted into a relaxed stance with her arms folded across her chest after tugging her glove back on. Her brown vest was half unzipped giving him a small view of her cleavage and the black undershirt she wore beneath the vest. [member="Memorial"]

He ignored her state of dress, not really caring that much about it but more so frowning further as he found his hands tapping at his cane now. "Question miss Senari, do you truly hate the life of a noble so much." He moved around her again, studying every inch of her, his hands tapping on the cane as his fake limp remained authentic. "And how much experience do you have with our true purpose in this galaxy?"

"Its not the noble status I hate. Its the lack of choice in what path I follow that bothers me. Every moment of my life at home was spent sparring and training. I was made to be a weapon... What if I want something more than that? No one has ever bothered to ask me what I want out of my life." She replied, growling slightly as she spoke. She bit her lip and forced back her anger, wishing to remain calm in front of Yusan.[member="Memorial"]

"Ill bite then, what is it you want then out of your life miss Senari?" He stopped infront of her, his face turning and standing now more than a foot from her face. The same wide grin, the same blood red eyes, the same carefree and somehow at the same time cold expression on his face. "Explain to me what it is that you want to be then little bird."

"I... I don't know yet. Not a living weapon thats for sure. Don't get me wrong... I enjoy the challenges that come with fighting... But I don't want to be defined as someone who's sole reason for existence is carnage and slaughter. I want to do something that matters... I'm just not sure what yet..." She managed to remain calm throughout her reply. She didn't really know what it was she wanted. She had little to no social skills due to her upbringing. From the moment she was born her parents acted as if she had one purpose and one purpose only, to be a weapon. To fight and destroy until there was no fighting left to be done. [member="Memorial"]

"Well, i am unsure what to tell you miss Senari, there are some who's paths are defined by war, some who are defined by peace. I am one of those who is defined by war, as it seems my attempts at peace are all but gnats in other's ears... i have a question for you miss, are you certain that you are not on the path of fighting already, you seemed ready enough to fight."

"I don't want my skill in battle to be the only thing that defines me. It's true I do enjoy the fighting in my life... But it's not all I am," she gestured to the datapad that was resting on the bench. "I'm more than just a blade between some unfortunate soul's ribs. I'm viewed as a weapon, not as a person... I don't want my life to be that way anymore." She tried to explain as best she could how she felt about the path she had been given. She was tempted to drop her gaze as she spoke, but instead she kept her focus on Yusan. [member="Memorial"]

""Then explain to me how you are going to prove such and distance yourself from your role as a warrior and weapon for our people?" He crossed his arms and looked at her closely, expecting a simple answer though he knew that no answer would truly be able to sate his curiosity. She was a unique one, someone who interested him but on a curious level, nothing more.

"I'm not sure yet... Maybe I'll go live in a cave for a few years and then become a Senator," She teased before suddenly doing something that any outsider might view odd. She swung her left leg out and slammed it into Yusan's right one. She smirked a bit as she waited for her suspicions to be confirmed. She had a feeling the former Senator was hiding something, she just wanted to test it to make sure. [member="Memorial"]

Ok so sure, he was faking the limp, but the kick was a bit too far in testing if he was actually still hurt. So instead of giving her the satisfaction of winning he crumpled to the ground and cried out in pain, even pushing a bit of the old pain he remembered out through the force, making it seem like she even felt the pain. He grit his teeth as he continued to push memories of pain to the surface, waiting to see how she reacted to striking someone while they were injured.

Ashe smirked and reached down to pull him up. "I'd almost believe that little act, if you hadn't rested so much wait on that leg. Typically you rest your weight over the uninjured leg, you were balanced evenly." She continued to smile at him after she had helped him up. "I wouldn't have kicked you I wasn't atleast 90% sure you were faking it." She explained as sat back down on the bench.

He wouldn't even let her help him up as she soon found herself falling, Yusan using her weight and his own strength to pull her down before rolling so that he was on top. His saber in his hand and the cold metal pressed on her throat as he looked at her with cold, cruel eyes. Eyes that softened after a moment and he grinned and laughed, though did not move an inch, the saber still pressed at her throat. "Im sorry, what was that about me hurting you? Something about not getting a warm welcome home?"
