Coryth Elaris
Shortstack of Fire
Coryth lifted a brow when Mirien spoke of Je'gan wondering where this train of thought was going. It was then that Siobhan answered the question before Coryth really could ask it. "He ..." She blinked before gently placing her fork down on her plate and briefly glanced between Siobhan and Mirien. "He ...." She didn't seem to really have heard completely, or at least was stuck in some state of shock. Untamed anger was starting to bubble within. "Did WHAT?!" She shouted! In her words just like that, everything changed and a great darkness spread through the room. This was not a Coryth that anyone wanted to see or know. Pissed, might have been a tiny understatement.
"He ... WILLINGLY joined the INQUISITION?!" It was quite possible that Coryth was well past pissed and already at livid. In that moment, Coryth had let go of a few of her guards, unable to keep her empathy in check when she was this upset.
"Of all the things he taught me! Being a TRAITOR to my OWN people was not one of them! To WILLINGLY place good people, their lives on the line!" Angry redhead was angry. "That .... That bastard! One simple action! I'll never forgive him for this! I suppose its a good thing that he's dead! I have HALF a mind to bring him back from the dead just so I can PERSONALLY kill him myself! As if buddying up to the Sith wasn't bad enough?! He had to go and do THAT too?!"
The redhead slammed her little fist down into the table, barely able to contain her rage. "The hell was going through his mind?! Did he really believe he wouldn't hurt the Jedi, the Republic and all those I call friend by this?! Truly?! How could he not see this as the worst kind of betrayal!?! It's one thing to hurt an individual, to stab them in the back... Fine! I could get over that! But when innocent lives are put on the line! That is one thing I will NEVER tolerate. Never!" Coryth was panting at this point, barely having taken a breath of air between her angry shouts.
"He killed any history we had with this. And I swear to the stars above if he somehow bodyswaps I will take great pleasure in ending his life. It will end with me. Fething traitor!" Coryth snarled, taking a deep breath before laying her head in her hands, trying to calm herself down. Anything to get away from the darkness that she felt just beneath the surface, barely tamed. Anything to keep the very real monster of rage in check, to keep from harming those she loved.
