Kay smirked. Of course she would want a tea party. Hawk no doubt told her all about her addiction to tea as it was very well known. Well, it was well known to those that knew her, anyways.

She followed Hawk's gaze and was glad that the area wan't destroyed as well. That'll make it easier for them to slip away. "Well I'm sure her and I will be able to teach you how to have a proper tea party."

"We will see on that." He says with grin. The shuttle lands with a thud. A couple of kids let out a yelp. "Whoa..bad landing." He says to the kids. "It okay I promise."

The shuttle ramps lowers. Hawk stands and follows everyone else off the shuttle. There was a large crowd of people was gathered at the bottom of the ramp. It mostly made up of press and few family members.

Kay couldn't help but grab the arms of her chair as the shuttle made a bumpy landing. Memories of the crash on Bakura months earlier, in which she was the lone survivor still reared itself in the back of her mind.

But once they were all settled she got to her feet and followed the rest, one of the last to leave the shuttle. Kay smiled at the gathering and then pretended to see someone that she knew way at the back. So she made a beeline through the crowed, hoping that Hawk would follow her lead in slipping away, as he requested.

A couple of reporters shout out questions as Hawk follows Kay. "Sweetheart im coming" He says to Kay. "Excuse me. I'm trying to catch up with my wife." He says to one of the reporter who was in his way. The reporter steps aside but snaps a quick holo Iof the two of them together.

Hawk takes Kay's hand so he doesn't lose her in the crowds. "Place is crawling with people. Mind if I crash with you tonight?" He assume a person like Kay was a place to stay.

Uh oh. Did what she thought happened, happen? A reporter snapped a holo of them after he called her his wife! Big uh oh! Hopefully no one else will see it.

Once they were through the crowd, Kay led him even further away from the town, but not before letting go of his hand. She gave him a smirk so that he wouldn't feel bad. "Well I guess that as your -wife-, you'll have to stay with me." Oh Shaw would be laughing his head off if he was alive now.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"At least for the kids sake." He says with a chuckle. He knew that somewhere in the afterlife Shaw was laughing his butt off. "Sorry about that. It was the first thing I thought of."

It was a good thing that had [member="Leilani Paaie"]. He wonder what she would think of Kay and vice verse.

"Yes, I'm sure that he would be." She missed him terribly and it was odd that after his death, she had not felt him, even through the Force. Little did she know that his spirit wad in the hands of one of her enemies. But that story is for a much later time.

Instead of going to the hotel though, Kay led Hawk into the woods. There was a lovely big tree that she liked to sit under. Once there she did just that and invited Hawk to do the same. "So you can see into future, can you?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

He arches an eyebrow as he was lead into the woods instead of a swanky Hotel. He was about to make a joke about cut back or something about profits being down when Kay asked him the question.

Hawk sat down next to her. Now he knew why she brought him here. "Umm. Yes I can see the future. You know like most Jedi." He says trying to play down his abilities. He knew that being a Seer, that his future reading skills were better than most.

She raised a brow. "Like most Jedi? Even the greatest Masters had troubles as the future is forever changing. If I could see the future, I would have been able to stop Shaw from getting killed and our family breaking apart."

He must have worked on that ability for a reason. Maybe it was because of what happened to them when Masq destroyed their lives. Who knows? Kay just stayed with healing and avoiding people. Until recently that is.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"Yes that true. Kay, I'm a seer. You can't tell anyone about me. It would endanger me and my family." He knew that Kay would never intentionally sell him out.

He didn't want to tell Kay that he had nightmares about Shaw being killed before it happen. He just thought that it was dreams. He hadn't realized until later that it was visions.

"Don't worry. I try to avoid letting others know about Force powers anyways. There's a lot of people in this system that don't approve of Force users, so I just keep it a secret." She leaned back against the tree. "Even in my new position I keep it secret because someone might think that I am influencing them to make the deals." But she was influencing them. Kay just wasn't aware of it.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"Kay, you are fooling yourself if you don't think that you aren't influencing them. Before I was trained I used my fast reflexes and my sixth sense. That all came from the force. Sorry, I don't mean to lecture you but you need to accept that you have the force and you should continue your training. Shaw wouldn't want you to cut yourself off from the force." He knew he was hitting below the belt by mentioning Shaw. Kay needed to her this.

He did hit below the belt. But as a friend, that was his job sometimes. She drew her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, closing herself off a bit. "I can't go back there. I'm not allowed, they kicked me out. And besides, I've done a bit of healing during this time, so I haven't cut myself off completely." She shrugs a little. "I just don't let others know about it. There's no harm in that. Shaw would want me to protect myself, wouldn't he? So I have been, by keeping away. And now that I've gotten back into public life, well....I'm not really allowed to go anywhere without a lot of bodyguards keeping watch." She doesn't always see them, but she knows they are there.

[member="Lady Kay"]

He ruffles the hair on the back of his head. He didn't mean to hurt her. "Kay, Kay..yo are such an innocent. No one can tell that. You can use the force. The Jedi Order isn't the only place to learn about the force."

He wraps an arm around her shoulder. "Of course Shaw would want you to protect. You can do that by learning more about the force." He glances around. He didn't see or sense any bodyguards. He leans in and whispers in her ear. "Don't trust hire help. Remember order 66"

Innocent? Not so much. Naive, oh yes indeed. She always expects the best from those that she encounters, even sees the goodness in some of those that were deemed as the bad guys. But lately such a thing has been getting her into a bit of trouble since she had rejoined public life and has been sent to various worlds to arrange contracts for her employer.

Kay chewed the inside of her cheek as he mentioned Order 66. Every Jedi heard that story and every Jedi feared it would happen again. She did as well, especially now with the people that she's come across lately. As she spoke to Hawk, she didn't whisper, for she didn't feel the need to do so. "I don't think that I'll be betrayed like that by my boss. He's a good man and believes that I should be treated by others better than I am. But....he's just not used to my negotiation style. I don't need to be treated like royalty."

She bypassed his suggestion of learning more about the Force, or rather she ignored it. Having to face other Jedi and face their scrutiny, questions and disappointment in her was not something that she was eager to have happen. Hawk was an old friend, so of course he'd treat her differently than she figured the rest would.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"I hope you are right about that. I would hate for anything to happen to you." He leans back against the tree. "What is your negotiations style? Kill them with kindness." It was hard for him to see Kay as a tough negotiator.

She laughed a little. "Something like that, yes. I don't behave as though I'm better than our clients. We need them as much as they need us, so it has to be an equal partnership. People tend to be more open in negotiations if you treat them with the proper respect they deserve." Of course Kay thought that that was what everyone should do, but not everyone saw it that way.

"I haven't negotiated with Darksiders yet though. Fortunately I haven't come across them. And that was usually Shaw's department, not mine."

[member="Lady Kay"]

"In your line of business that will happen. How will you deal with it?" He asks Kay about dealing with Sith. "In my opinion, that why you need more training. Shaw not around to help," Hawk glances at Kay studying her profile. Same old Kay believing that everyone has good in them. That sort of thinking will get her killed.

"Does any of our bodyguards know the force?"

She had hoped that she wouldn't have to deal with it. She wasn't the only one that sold their products and built factories. But he was right, as much as she hated to admit it.

At his question Kay furrowed her brow as she thought about it. With her bodyguards and their amazing suits of armour that can withstand some lightsaber attacks, she never really worried about whether or not they could use the Force. It was a bad habit that she had picked up while running and hiding all these years.

"I don't think that any of them do..." Kay sighed a little in defeat. "...Fine I'll practice more and learn more." Already it felt as though her flaws were being pointed out when all that she had been doing was being careful and protecting herself. It had worked so far, but things change.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"I'm glad to hear that. I'm only telling you this for your own good." He felt bad that he brow beated her but it was for her own good. "If you would like I can help you. It doesn't have to be in any official. No joining the Silver." He would do anything to protect Kay. He loved as a friend. A long time ago he had a small crush on her but that went away when she married Shaw.
