She smirked as he said it was for her own good. Spoken like an older brother. Kay looked at him and nodded, giving him a small smile. "Alright, but I draw the line at restricting my tea consumption." She was down to 4 cups a day, sometimes less if she was super busy. It was better to be taught by a friend anyways, instead of complete strangers. And she was in no way ready to be around other Jedi yet. The pain of abandonment was just too much.

Hawk chuckles. "How could I do that? Tea business people would go bankrupt if you stop drinking tea. All those worker unemployed." He says teasing her. He gives her a playful little shove against her shoulder.

"So tell me has there been anyone special since him? "

Oh what would she do without his sense of humour? It had been a long time since she had been exposed to it. Kay shoved him back with her shoulder as she would to an annoying brother, that is if she even had one.

"Anyone special? Oh no, I dare not to even look. What if Shaw somehow came back? Or what if he visited me through meditation? I can't hurt him like that."

[member="Lady Kay"]

"Ahhh Kay, you can't live your life waiting for a glimpse of Shaw through the force. He would want you to live your life. Find someone new to love." The thought of Kay being alone for the rest of her life sadden him. Maybe it was because he just found someone to love finally. He was madly in love with [member="Leilani Paaie"].

"I am living my life. At least now anyways. I'm the COO of a major company, I have my own ship to live on and guards, I have a huge salary and I get to help people again. And all in just a matter of months. How is that not living?" Besides, Shaw was her soulmate. She doubted that there would ever be another that could steal her heart as Shaw did. Part of her died along with him. But she was sure that she'd be complete again when it was her time to be one with the Force.

Hawk nods "It is a good start." He needed to easy back a little. "I just found someone recently that I am in love with. Unfortunately, Leilani isn't sure how she feels about me. She says that I make her feel comfortable. I'm not sure what comfortable means? She is a Zelton. So maybe that a good thing."

"I can't say that I've run across a Zelton before, so I'm not sure what they are like. I think that when she says comfortable, she means that you make her feel at ease. Maybe she wants something more than that? I'm not sure. It's not for me to say." She lowered her legs so that they were flat on the ground and crossed them at the ankles as she got more comfortable. "As long as you're happy, then that's the more important thing."

[member="Lady Kay"]

He nods his head as he listen. "That make sense to me. I can't believe in all your travels that you haven't ran into any Zelton. They are wonderful people. Very fun loving exotic looking people. Very sensational.. [member="Leilani Paaie"] is all that and more, I know I sound like a love sick puppy. She is the best thing to happen to me beside Maddie."

His com goes off. He glance and grins. "Speak of the devil." It was Maddie. He reassures her that he was all right. That he was with Auntie Kay and promises that he would be home in a few days.

Kay smiled. "Well I'm happy for you." And she truthfully was. Being on her own wasn't depressing either as she had far too much to do to worry about her personal life. Running such a large business was very time consuming and maybe that was a good thing.

She listened closely at Maddie's voice. "She sounds just as cute as she looks. It'll be great to see you two playing together." Kay wished that she knew where her adopted children were. Bradshaw took off in anger after the funeral, and Rae-Anna had gone off on her own, maybe joined the Order. It was hard to say at this point.

Hawk grins. "Thanks." He switches off the com. "Are you ready to go to the hotel yet?" He was beginning to feel tired again. His second wind was leaving him. He yawns. "Sorry about that. Long day."

He hoped that he would be able to sleep without any vision.

Kay nodded. "Yes, I'm ready." She got to her feet and then held out her hand to help him up. Afterwards she led him back into town.

The hotel that she was staying in was one of the best and the suite was one of the most lavish ones available. It wasn't her choice, but the owner insisted. No doubt he was prompted by her bodyguards to do so. Or her boss. The suite was huge, covering an entire floor. "You can have the bedroom as you deserve it after today. And I won't take no for an answer." She smirked. He saved a lot of lives today, including her own, so she owed him.

Hawk accepted Kay assistance in helping him help. He followed her back into town. They walked in comfortable silence.

The hotel was exactly liked he picture it would be for somone in Kay's position. "Very nice. I'm impressed." He walked around the room. "It so huge. I'm surprised it has one bedroom."

He open the bedroom suite. It had a huge King size bed. "You know the bed is big enough for two people. We can share. I can lay on top of the bedding,". He cross over to the bathroom. "Wow. I'm gonna take a shower. Can you order us some food? " he doesn't wait for answer before stepping into the bathroom. He removes all his dirty clothes that was covered in dirt. He places it into a bag for the laundry service. He switched on the shower and jumps in. Letting the hot water looses all his tight muscle in his back.

Kay just smirked and shook her head as Hawk disappeared into the bathroom. She headed back to the door of the suite, opening it to look for one of the workers, only to run into a couple of soldiers from her security detail. "I know what you're thinking, but he's fine, an old friend. He works for our allies. Look him up if you need to; Hawk Solo." The soldier informed her that they already did and were just letting her know that they were all nearby as per their orders. She nodded and sighed, then gave him a playful smile. "I have an order too. Supper. Meat, veggies, maybe some baked goods for dessert. Order enough of it so that you all can have some too and I'll cover for the extra charges. Thanks!"

And then she closed the door and walked over to one of the bay windows. It was a bit embarrassing to be babysat, but she understood the reasoning behind it. Powerful people and trouble always seem to find her and she didn't know why. But at least she always found protection too and people always willing to fight on her side.

Hawk finishes his shower. It felt so good to be clean again. He found white robe and slipped into it. He ties it the sash around his secure it. He walks out of the bath room leaving the wet towel on the floor. He takes the bag that needs to be laundry and places it outside the door.

"Bathroom is all yours." He says to Kay by the window. Barefooted he walks to the small bar. "Ooooo Coreillian whiskey. Nice. Care for a shot?" He pours himself a shot. He deserved it after the day events.

She shook her head. "No thanks. Tea is my drink, so the whiskey is all yours." Kay tilted her head to the side a bit. "Nice look. Supper's on it's way, or it should be. I had my guards order it. Funny how they already know more about you than I thought they would. But your Silver Jedi friends are one of our top customers, so I shouldn't be too surprised."

[member="Lady Kay"]

Hawk down his first shot of the whiskey. "Smooth. This is good stuff." He pours another shot and takes it to the couch. He sits down on the couch. He had to be careful not to over do it on an empty stomach,

He wasn't sure he liked the idea of the guards knowing a lot about him. "That good. They are doing their job protecting you. Still it be a good idea on the future not rely on them and do your own research." He places his feet on the coffee table in front of him.

She raised a brow. He seemed very untrusting of them for some reason and she had no idea why. It wasn't as though her boss was putting her in danger at all. On the contrary, he was trying to protect her from trouble. "I didn't ask them to do any research. It's just part of their job.....Why don't you like them, Hawk? They are just looking out for me like you would."

[member="Lady Kay"]

"I have a bad feeling about this. You are relying on them instead of your instinct. Let me ask you this,how did you end up with this gig? It not like you had a lot experience doing this sort of thing." He turns to look at her. He wanted to see her expression. He might be pressing too hard.

"Do you think this is some kind of ploy? What would it accomplish? My boss is Mandalorian, he's not Imperial or Sith or anything like that." She sighed. "After what happened here to me earlier, I realized that I couldn't hide anymore. I was being pushed back into public life again so I chose to embrace it. I can go about and do my own thing just like you can with your Jedi Order." She hated having to defend her choices with him, her boss and others when she was just doing what she thought was right. "The job posting came up, I have a background in diplomacy with Shaw, so it made sense. I fail to see what's so sinister about it."

[member="Lady Kay"]

"A mando....great just love them." He says his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I just want to keep your eyes open that all." he sighs and takes a sip of the whiskey. he decides to change the subject. "How far along were you in your training?" He was trying to find a safe topic for them to talk about. It obviously couldn't talk about her job or Shaw.
