She walked over to him then and joined him on the couch, placing her hand on his shoulder. "I wasn't too thrilled with Mandos either, as both Shaw and I had bounties on our heads before. But that's all over now and I've been assured that they'll look out for me, which is a nice change."

And then Kay changed the subject. "How far in my training did I get? I could've been a Knight, but...you know. Healing is what I'm best at, and Shaw taught me some saber techniques and defensive techniques to add to what I was already taught."

He nods his head. "When is the last time Kay, did you use these skills? He was betting that she was rusty. "Did you do any of the trails?" He wasn't really paying attention back in the day to the Jedi stuff.

There was a knock on the door. "I hope that the food."

Kay scratched the back of her neck. "Well....I healed my wrist a few months ago. I almost had to fight too, but then the attack ended."

As she was about to answer his last question, the door knocked. She got to her feet and answered the door. Sure enough, it was room service and the waiter looked a bit nervous. He probably got the third degree and pat down from her security. "Thanks, I'll take it from here..." She gave the man a 50 credit tip and then wheeled in the food, opening up the lids from the trays. "Dig in."

It was time to eat. He walks over the cart filled with food. It all looked delicious. He fixes himself a plate of food and sits back down at the table. He cuts into the juicy dewback steak. "Healing yourself is easier than healing someome else." He knew a some about the power of healing. Especially after dealing with the Angel of Death amulet that he still had.

Kay sighed and gathered her own plate of food, feeling very much like she was in the Academy cafeteria. She plopped it down on the table and sat down, kind of playing with her food a bit before she dug into it. "Hawk, you know that I'm a good healer. You've seen it yourself a number of times....I know the difference."

[member="Lady Kay"]

"Kay, I know you were a good healer. I don't know about now. Like any skill you have to use it or you lose it." He says trying not to lecture. "Sorry about the lecture. Anyways,,the.food is great." This wasn't going well. Kay was acting like he was judging her. Was he? He didn't think so.

But he was judging her, or at least she felt like it anyways. It was as though everything she's been doing had been wrong. Much like what she was told before she was kicked out of the Order. Yet she had managed to stay alive and nobody died because of her actions or decisions. She felt as though she did good, but now had been made to feel as though all of it was wrong.

Kay nodded in between mouthfuls of meat and veggies. "Yeah....It is good food." She worked her hardest to finish off her plate, but she had kind of lost her appetite a bit. "...What kind of training had you done?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

He finished his first plate and working on his second. "I was trained in a lot of different areas of the force. My late Master Iella E'ron was a very patience and caring teacher. She taught me how to control the visions. Not all my visions come true. Sometime it depends on your point of views and how you read it."

He was still sad about losing Master Iella. He takes a sip of water. "She was one of the reasons I left the Jedi Order and joined the Silver. I'm still dealing with her lose."

She nodded a little sadly. "I'm sorry for your loss." But at least she didn't abandon him. As for his mentions of the other Jedi, she didn't inquire further, for she wasn't sure if she could handle it yet.

"Whatever food is left over, we can give it to those that have lost their homes. Maybe I could help the reconstruction effort." She didn't want to ask about his visions either, for she felt that it was best not to know. Maybe people's paths can't be changed.

"Not a bad idea. They are going to need to set up soup kitchen with all the homeless." He pushes his empty plate away from him. He was finally full. "If you don't mind I'm going to go to bed. I need to recharge my batteries. Tomorrow will be busy day."

He excuses himself and goes to bed. He crawls under the covers and falls asleep instantly.

Kay nodded and let him go. It wasn't as though she had anything pressing to stop him with. She took the dirty dishes and was about to wash them, but then stopped herself. Someone else was getting paid to do that and she didn't want to take that from them. So instead Kay set them aside. She then wrote a note for the waiter to put the rest of the food into containers so that they could distribute it in the morning, before pushing the cart of food into the hallway, nodding to her escorts before going back into her room.

Kay just stood by the door after she closed it behind her. It had been a crazy day, both in a bad way and a good. But whatever would come of it, she couldn't guess just yet. Instead of joining Hawk in the king sized bed however, she took the couch. Best friends or not, it was the better option. The last thing that she needed was to be a part of a scandal.

For the first few hour of Hawk's sleep cycle there was no dreams. On the fourth hour, the visions began. A vision of burning building...filled with children. Maddie was in there. He tossed and turned. The building collapse to the.crowd. "NOOOOOOOOO!" He yelled out waking himself up. "NO Not her."

Hawk's yelling caused Kay to not only wake up from her own peaceful slumber, but a couple members of her security team came in, rifles raised. They checked to see if everything was clear before they let Kay go to check out her friend.

"Hey....it was just a bad dream. Probably caused by all of the events from today."

Hawk frowns deepens. "No, it was a vision?" He says sounding unsure. He really didn't know. "SITHSPAWN." He yells. "I can't figure out the timing. Was she older? Is it tomorrow? I have to call my mom. She is watching Maddie." Hawk reaches and grabs the com. He toss it against the wall frustrated. "Communication are down because of the quakes"

Kay grabs hold of his arms before her guards do. "Hey! Calm down! You're not going to get anything accomplished while behaving like this. I'm sure that everything is fine. Communications are not down as you just spoke to her in the afternoon. You're just being impatient and jumping to conclusions. That didn't work for us before and it won't do so now. So calm down and think rationally!"

Kay let him go then and waited to see if he would be okay. Hawk was lucky that her guards didn't have itchy trigger fingers.

Kay was right. He needed to calm down. He was allowing his fear to cloud this judgement. He takes a deep breath and releases it. He does that a few times while calming himself down. He had other ways to see if Maddie was all right.

"Your right. I need to calm down. I can feel Maddie presence in the force. Right now she is fine and not in danger. It was nightmare." He didn't want to speak about his vision in front of her guards.

"Sorry about that guys." He says addressing Kay's bodyguards. "It fine now. I'm fine now really."

Kay blinked. "You could feel her from this far away? Wow. I wonder if that's a paternity thing. I can't find Brad and Rae Anna. But maybe it's because they were adopted."

Her guards stood down and went back to their posts, no doubt mumbling to themselves about people getting carried away with nightmares.

"Probably..she is part of me. I never really gave it any thought." Poor Kay. He always felt bad about what happen to her kids. "I'm sure you tried this but have you tried to mediate on them..to at least know if they are all right."

She shook her head a little. "Not while I've been awake anyways. I guess that I could have, or rather I should have. But I didn't want to have him find us. I figured that it was safer for all of us." She sighed. "Probably the wrong choice...wasn't it?" Now she felt as though she had been selfish all this time, yet all that she wanted to do was to protect them.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"I can understand that. I don't blame you. I would worry about that too. I think it is time to try. I can help you if you would like." He leans his head back on the headboard. He glances down. He relieved that he was covered up. Even though they were close he didn't want Kay to see him naked.
