Sara tensed as her missile warning system lit up, she banked right with ease...and found it was in vain, the missile followed her, she moved up and found she was being followed by it still, she kept moving and moving she couldn't risk getting hit...not now

Bolt 2 moved as it took fire from Choli it weaved as the pilot moved quickly, it locked to the missiles on Sara, it fired at the missile, if it was taken down and had no way to dodged Sara and bolt 2 smiled as she opened the comms to the pilot

hahahah you nearly had me...you have my respect as a pilot...but I shall regret to tell you I must...eliminate you...orders are orders...I'm sure you understand

Upon reaching the outskirts of Santaissa with her battalion, Arlen had received a priority tasking from her station chief. The First Order was attempting to secure the comm tower within the city, one of the few remaining standing structures. They were being engaged by Resistance forces who also wanted control of the tower, with reinforcements from Alliance regulars on the way as reported by FO patrols who had engaged them in brief skirmishes. The FO currently had the upper hand, but her chief wanted her to provide the extra push to ensure success.

This mission was being led by Darth Veles and Ashen Ren. She was unfamiliar with the Sith Lord, but she was well acquainted with Ashen, having teamed up with her on a previous assignment. Professional, competent, polite if stiff. A good warrior to have on your side in a firefight, but awkward in everything else. Back then, Arlen couldn't figure out if Ashen was just naturally reserved, or if it had been beaten into her during her indoctrination under the Ren. Judging from the behavior of other Ren, she figured it was the latter.

An unnatural snowstorm now blanketed the city by the time she had arrived. The air was thick with the Force, several powerful adepts congregated in one small area accessing the mystical energy field in obscene quantities. This could very well have been their doing, as well the accident she had just learned about involving one of the First Order's Star Destroyers and an unusually strong tempest earlier. Even from here, the glow of fires from the downed capital ship could be seen. A funny thing if true, that meant they weren't dealing with individuals who cared all too much about collateral damage. If that ship had been moving at sufficient velocity, then it could have leveled the entire region upon impact. Not to mention the radioactive byproducts that would now be spread through the air. The Alliance seemed keen on seeing Kaeshana turn into even more of a hellhole. That's what you got fighting careless Jedi warlords.

Whatever freak weather passed through the city, her scout troopers were well equipped with heater packs and other survival gear in their field kits. They were trained to operate in such harsh environments with little to no support, which was why the FOSB agent preferred working with scout troopers over regular storm troopers in the field.

She contacted Veles and Ashen with an encrypted message over tight-beam to inform them of her plan to link up with them and to help claim the comm tower. Then she had her reserve units establish a base camp with the rest of the First Order forces outside of the city as she advanced with a company of scout troopers on foot, backed up by several vehicles for infantry support and anti-armor warfare. A dedicated squadron of TIE Hunters was on standby to provide air support as needed, but for now, she would get by with Plex launchers. Recon drones zipped ahead of the dispersed convoy, relaying information about concentrations of friendly and enemy forces.

Along the way, with the combination of recon drones and advanced scouts on speeder bikes surveying the city, her units were making quick progress through the ruins toward their destination. The foul weather actually worked to their benefit as they progressed against ill-equipped insurgents. There was sporadic contact here and there, but a few mortar salvos into enemy positions usually brought the skirmishes to a quick end. Insurgents also found themselves neutered as their weapons experienced heavy blooming from all the condensation, not so much an issue for the FO scout troopers wielding cutting-edge mass driver weapons. Where they could, the scout troopers avoided the enemy entirely, moving along the shortest path from one friendly controlled area to another.

On a few occasions, they passed by civilians huddled up in pockmarked buildings, unable to escape the war brought to them by the Alliance. Arlen hadn't come equipped to dish out aid, but she still had some of her troopers pass out their spare rations and heater packs. Small, but important acts like these would go a long way in obtaining the cooperation and loyalty of the locals.

At this rate, they would be able to link up with the FO units at the tower very soon to wipe out the Resistance. If she wasn't successful in this joint endeavor, then she had a backup plan to make sure no one got control. No tower was better than an Alliance-controlled tower.

“Kira.” One of the Rebel’s called out her name with a sense of disbelief in his tone. “It’s snowing?”
“What?” Kira looked up to the sky and indeed the clouds had started to swirl into a mess of grey, flakes of white falling as if ash from the sky. It was all very picturesque or would have been if not for the rippling of the Force that came roaring over her as she stared upon it. “That is not natural.”
“It’s getting heavier. Gonna make it harder getting over everything.” Another grumbled. “Plus we aren’t exactly equipped for a blizzard.”
It was true, they weren’t prepared for cold, not at all and as they continued onwards the snow continued to build into a full blown blizzard. Kira ordered the group to stay close, hoping that the decreased distance would assure that none of them would get lost. All they had to do was continue onwards, hopefully the storm would sedate.

“By the Force.” They had been going for a good quarter an hour, moving through snow and sleet. Each was freezing, shaking in the cold but the awe filled shout made all of them perk up and pay attention to the surrounding area. “They really did do it.”
“Get some…” Kira couldn’t take it all in at once. They had seen images, heard the rumours but standing here in front of the rows of crosses, bodies scattered in burning pits and death was just too much for her. The Force felt heavy here, dark and horrible. It made her want to throw up. “Get some pictures. Get anything we can get up to the ships. A stream if we can.”
“Of course.” Several of the Rebels started scattering around the area, getting what they could.
Kira moved towards one of the crosses that she could see in the snow, the person mounted upon it had been one of the fortunate it would seem, he breathed no more. The groans and yells of others that had become more apparent the longer they hovered told other stories.
“We should move.” One of her group approached and muttered to her. “We’ve got everything we need. We need to get it up there.”
“What about them?” Kira said in a somber tone.
“Who? Them?” The rebel nodded up to crosses.
“We can’t just leave them.”
“You go Kira, get these to the fleet.” He turned back to the crosses. “I’ll stay with Sax. We’ll get them all down.”
“What if they come back?”
“Then we fight. Like we always do.”

Kira, now with a severely depleted Rebel force had continued back through the blizzard towards the communication tower. Overhead the signs of battle in space had broken through, lances of bright lights showing up even through the clouds that whipped savagely above them.
“Team bravo.” Kira spoke into her wrist unit. “We are en-route what is your position?”
Static.
“Team Bravo?”
“Under….Vaal…HELP!” Static again.
“Frakk.” Something was wrong, something was very, very wrong.

The Guardian was siting in orbit of Santaissa on the other side of the planet observing everything that was happening and assessing the damage they have caused to the planet and the amount of casualties they claimed to help. Vortex had waited long enough to ensure they had no intent of keeping the casualties number to a minimum. Captain bring the ship into the lower atmosphere and reroute all power to our shields. "Alright everybody I know you all wanted to be In the middle of the battle but the plan has changed we are going to set up a medical field just south of the citadel. That means I'm going to need volunteer's that are willing to go down there along with the medics and assure no one tries to destroy the field."

As the Star Destroyer Descended into the planets atmosphere vortex sent out a transmission to any First order ship. "This is the current captain of the guardian to any of our fighters on the planet. We are currently moving our ship eighteen klicks to the south of the citadel to drop off our Reinforcements. If you could avoid any enemy ships from the area for the time being till we are able to set up our anti air defense would be appreciated."

Once she finished transmitting she headed straight for the armory to load up. As she was equipping her armor she was approached by on of the commanders. "Ma'am we've got a count on every body that wants to head to the surface with the medics." Vortex smiled as she was grabbing her weapons. "Let me guess most of them wanted to stay on the ship?" "Actually no, We have a body count of three thousand." Vortex quickly looked up at him in shock. "Your joking." "I'm not, Each one of them volunteered." "Wouldn't that leave about two thousand and a couple hundred left to maintain the ship." "Yes. It would leave Two thousand two hundred left to man the ship." "Can that amount still man it effectively?" "It would be cutting it close but they could."

Vortex smiled as she finished gearing up. "Do we even have that amount of equipment?" " Most of them are already armed and ready for combat but yes we have enough for the rest." "Well alright then tell them all to head down to the hangers and get ready for launch." The commander nodded and left. Vortex made her way back to the bridge to see that they were almost to the drop zone. "Get our drop ship to Take the walkers to the DZ to secure the area." Vortex knew changing the type of drop ship would come in hand later but she didn't want it to happen like this. She couldn't control what the GA did all she could do is help those in need and bring them medical support.

Vortex watched out the window seeing the walkers being flown out of the hangers and it was a beautiful sight yet she felt a deep sorrow for all the people she going to help.

[ hahahah you nearly had me...you have my respect as a pilot...but I shall regret to tell you I must...eliminate you...orders are orders...I'm sure you understand.]

The Brilliant missile was still homing in on the target. It wouldn't be so easy, but the interceptor was fast. While the TIE interceptor weaved and jigged to try and throw off the missile, Sara Lee Jones would realize that such missiles were not so easy to break free from. Luck would be on the very rare chance of Bolt 2 's missile barely managing to strike it. However, it would blow up right near the aft section of the TIE interceptor. How much damage that might take would have to be taken into consideration by the very fragile build of the TIE IN Interceptor, but Choli didn't particularly care on the results. She had time. Not only was the pilot flying a power hungry beast, but it had poor defenses. It would only be able to take a couple of shots before it could potentially be destroyed for good.

The problem was that the TIE had speed and a bit more mobility than TR-20 X-Wing. At the very least, Choli had three more Brilliant missiles and two Baradium Missiles left. The Tie might win in speed, but in payload, Choli had it in spades.

[ Unidentified TIE pilot. ] Choli brought up the targeting array, moving to shoot up and over to fly back at the interceptor. She was heading for a Nuna chicken run face on.

[ Gotta catch me first!]

Four Taim & Bak Laser Cannons took in the TIE in her sights and she sent another barrage. Red Squadron flew over head of the battle, sending volley after volley of laser fire against Bolt flight and covering the GADF forces below.

When Ludolf had moved to reinforce the First Order's position at the Citadel of Dawn, there was only a moderate enemy presence here. Now it seemed as though the Galactic Alliance was now throwing their full weight behind this attack and committing a large number of their forces. Now outnumbered, it became apparent to Vaas that they would need reinforcements. The entire battle had suddenly shifted here. Galactic Alliance, Eldorai, Kathol Outback, Firemane, and had he heard something about Omega Pyre? It would seem that the entire galaxy had conspired to bring down just one faction.

Ludolf knew his enemy well. Peace is a lie, the old Sith code went, and it was especially true of the First Order's enemies.

If it hadn't been for the heroic sacrice of one of the bombers in Pierce Fortan III's squadron, the Sabercat might have been wrecked by the grav missile that was launched at it. Now Ludolf had to squint as the missile exploded in the air, creating a temporary gravity well in midair with a violent explosion. However, some of the other missiles [member="Laira Vereen"] fired did get through, and impacted against the heavy walker, weakening its deflector shields. Fortunately, the First Order's own starfighters had arrived on the scene as well to defend against air attacks - and it must be said that the Sabercat itself was not totally vulnerable to aerial assault as well. It's top-mounted quad laser cannon fired at Vereen's ships the whole way as they closed in and sailed away, hoping to take at least a few down.

Then Ludolf's holocomm sounded. He instantly recognized the frequency - it was [member="Marzena Choi"]. Ludolf furrowed his brow. He had told Marzena never to contact him on this frequency unless it was an absolute emergency. And as another explosion erupted around him, now wasn't exactly the best time. Ludolf answered the call.

"I-I'm in labor."

Well, to her credit, he supposed that qualified as an emergency.

"Okay," Was Ludolf's simple response, a short attempt to calm her. He didn't have time to properly process the information as he hunkered down. "Okay... don't worry. Just remember the breathing exercises and..."

Ludolf had to cut his message short, as now the aerial assault from the newly arrived forces of [member="Tempest"] began. Ludolf, along with all the rest of his Stormtroopers, had to use the rocky outcroppings of the terrain to their advantage and find places to hide. Some of his men, unfortunately, were not so lucky. They fired back at the approaching bombers with anti-air rockets, and the Sabercat's top-mounted quad laser cannon blasted away at the incoming fighters, trying to take down as many as possible. But casualties on the ground could not be avoided.

One good turn deserved another. Ludolf had to temporarily place the call with his wife on hold. Blue Leader wanted coordinates, and Vaas would give it to them. "Blue Leader, this is Vaiken Command. Transmitting ground targeting data for a strafing run now, over." The bombing coordinates he had sent to [member="Pierce Fortan III"] would lead him directly to Tempest's newly arrived forces.

"Vaiken Command to General [member="Asharad Graush"]. Move your forces to reinforce the Citadel position, along with the rest of the Vaiken Division and our other Sabercat. The Alliance has chosen this hill to die on. We're going to need as much as we can."

Ludolf turned back to the battlefield. The Sabercat still remained well behind most of the Stormtroopers, placing it out of range for most enemy weaponry on purpose, which would allow it to simply continue to use its turbolaser from a distance. Another turbolaser blast was ready, and this time it belched with a deafening roar, sending a huge turbolaser blast towards Tempest's Manticore support tanks.

But that didn't last for long. It soon became apparent to Ludolf that he was being pushed backward by some unseen force, and it was growing stronger. Naturally, the telekinetic wave sent by [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] was felt by him as well, on the ground. The sheer amount of power necessary to move a 13,500 ton piece of equipment, especially from such a distance, was truly unbelievable. The pilots of the Sabercat stopped moving forward, anchoring the machine to the ground. The walker's convex legs provided extra support and stability, making it less top-heavy than most other walkers. But Siobhan's wave was actually succeeding in moving it. It hadn't toppled yet, but it was actually slowly moving backwards, its feet grinding up the earth underneath it as it moved.

Ludolf looked in the direction he felt the wave coming from, and saw her. This must be how they brought down the Star Destroyer. This magic show insanity had to stop now. He wasn't going to simply let her destroy another massive piece of First Order machinery.

Vaas took aim with his slugthrower rifle, found the distant visage of what looked to be her bloody face in his crosshairs, and began squeezing off one calm shot after another, in rhythmic repetition. If he couldn't cause a kill shot, he was at least determined to distract her from the monolithic amount of concentration it must take to do a deed such as what she was trying to pull off.

Never one to forget, Ludolf remembered one final obligation - his pregnant wife. He nestled the holocomm between his shoulder and ear as he fired off rounds.

"I'm sorry, Marzena. I won't be coming back to Dosuun."

"Milord! News from the front!"

The Arch-King swiveled his gaze to peer at the intrusion, his hands bloodied as he peeled back another tract of skin from the scout's torso. It hadn't taken much for the little morsel to squeal, in the first five minutes along he had divulged much to the Dark Lord as his arms were systematically amputated digit by digit. His screams had long died down, his throat ravaged by the pain as his body gave into shock. He was still alive, however; the dark mysticism that the Arch-King wielded so masterfully had kept the poor sap alive longer than he should have been, ensuring that he could experience every ounce of suffering that was inflicted upon him.

Carnifex disposed of the blade into a basin of water blackened by blood and offal, and rose to address the informant. "This had better be good, lieutenant. I don't appreciate my pastime being so rudely interrupted." The officer bowed, a million's million apologies slipping forth from his mouth as he groveled, but the Dark Lord merely waved his hand in pardon.

He had no use for such pathetic displays right now.

The man rose with eyes glimmering on the point of tears at his offense, but he quickly mustered his worth. "Our scouts have confirmed that battle between the Alliance and the Order has been joined fully, and the fighting has just reached a fevered pitch." Carnifex chuckled and gestured to the mangled stump of a man that hung so callously from chains bolted to the chamber's ceiling, "The boy here said as much. Rally the soldiers, we'll move to flank the enemy at their weakest juncture." The man nodded, but hesitated to leave. There was obviously more he had to say. "That is all well and good, milord, but there is another thing you might wish to hear."

His interest was peaked, and his gestured for the other to continue.

"There are multiple reports that [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] is present at the battle."

Now his wroth was kindled, "Kerrigan." His mouth curled into a contemptuous sneer of anger, his brow furled and his eyes blazing with pure contempt. "Ready my guard, I shall ride out ahead of the vanguard to meet her in battle."

The order was given, and as Carnifex departed the structure he found a cadre of twelve elite Crownguard garbed in scarlet Shadow Armor assembled before him. Behind them were all matching speeders including his own, and with hardly a word spoken between any of them they mounted up in accordance with Carnifex and flanked him as he road out of the compound to spear his own personal assault against the Alliance down at the ruined Citadel of Dawn. Yet for whatever Alliance soldier they might cut down in their journey, his heart was set on only one thing.

The annihilation of Kerrigan.

Location: Eastern Outskirts of Santaissa, Star Destroyer crash site
Objective: Negotiate with Galactic Alliance Search for survivors
Samka Derith stood perfectly still, unflinching, with eyes glued to the wreckage before her. The Star Destroyer was in bits, broken and in flames before her. As the flame's licked across the landscape, occasional sparks would flare up from the machinery but still the teenager was motionless. The others had left. [member="Kyrel Ren"] and his troopers along with [member="Brent Smith"] had both gone to take part in the fighting. She didn't blame them. It was hard to justify standing and waiting while their soldiers were fighting and dying elsewhere but she was certain that something would still come of it. As the Star Destroyer crashed and burned before her and storms ravaged the planet, she waited. As armies deployed and fighting intensified, she waited. She could wait no longer.

With a heavy sigh, the young Ren finally moved from her spot and gestured for the Stormtroopers to follow. "It seems," she began to speak for the first time in hours. She'd not said a word even when the mighty ship hit the ground before them. "That the enemy care not for negotiation, nor for the rescue of the vulnerable. A pity." Her attention then turned to the Eldorai civilians with them. "Congratulations, you've been conscripted as rescue workers." If they were unhappy with this turn of events, they didn't voice their concerns. At least not with a platoon of armed soldiers watching over them. Now addressed them all, "Most are dead," she said referring to the crew of The Wrath. "But not all. Search for survivors but don't get yourselves incinerated by flammable equipment or fried by loose wiring, please." Now gesturing with her head towards the wreck, Samka led her group in the rescue efforts.

The next few hours were spent with her assisting their mishmash group with their rescue efforts. Because of her ability in the Force to lift wreckage, Sam found herself acting as supervisor, constantly moving around to aid anyone struggling, Stormtrooper and Eldorai alike. Most of the time they found bodies, some horribly charred and crushed but a few survivors were picked up, all of them in critical condition. The work was tough but more lives they could save, the better prepared the First Order would be in the future. The wounded were left on a mound tended to by Stormtroopers with medical training however it was unlikely the naval personal would survive. None of them had been inoculated against the radioactive environment of the surface after all.

Eventually there was a large military force appearing over the horizon already in fighting position. Samka wouldn't know it as she marched forwards to meet her allies and explain the situation but they were led by someone she met a long time ago, [member="Rolf Amsel"].

Diplomatic Flotilla, Kaeshana System

"I'm afraid you're misinformed, ANS Truth and Reconciliation. Kaeshana has been claimed by the First Order in accordance with the laws and customs of intergalactic law. The Galactic Alliance is in violation of international law in their unprovoked and unwarranted attack on the First Order's non-violent humanitarian mission to this planet. We demand that your forces immediately disengage and fall back in the interest of avoiding full scale war."

The Reconciliation hadn't established visual communication with the FIV Concordia, but even by the curt tone of voice of the man at the other end, President Sovv could tell that he was speaking to their military. Though the First Order was in many ways the Alliance's antithesis, officers tended to be officers no matter where you went. Uneducated on the nuances of First Order protocol as they were, Jaius could only hope that someone from their civilian government had authorization to listen in on this conversation. Though the military commanders may have direct control over the situation for the moment, the Sullustan knew that getting in touch with a representative of their people would go a long way towards peace in the long term. As for the officer's words themselves, Jaius was not surprised. It was a similar tack to the one taken by the Sith remnant coalition at Atrisia.

"Well then, it seems we have a problem," Jaius said after taking a few moments to collect his thoughts, "Forgive me, it could be a trick of my vantage point, but there seem to be an awful lot of star destroyers in orbit for a humanitarian mission. Maybe what little population still resides on the surface was in desperate need of turbolaser fire, or do orbital bombardments fall under the category of 'non-violence' in First Order space? Come now, Concordia, this world holds little value to you save its geographic significance, or would you have us believe it a mere coincidence that your benevolent gaze happens to fall upon a planet within striking distance of several Federation systems? The Sith Lords of Atrisia attempted to pass off their armada as a trade summit when their mustering forces came under our scrutiny, you will forgive us if we do not take you at your word.

"I've heard your demands, Concordia, now you hear mine. You will stand down all military operations in the Kaeshana system, and allow the sovereignty of this planet to be decided by the Eldorai people, not your interpretation of the allowances provided for by intergalactic law. Furthermore, you will allow for the safe passage of New Jedi Order inspectors to conduct a thorough search of the surface for suspected Dark Side cultist activity. Until these conditions have been met, the Galactic Alliance Defense Force will continue to safeguard its personnel and assets within this system by whatever means necessary."

A stony silence washed over the cramped little bridge of the diplomatic vessel as all eyes turned towards the President of the Sullustan Council despite years of training to the contrary.

"Are you certain that was wise, Mister President?" Captain Jas asked at last, "I thought you wished for peace."

"They had me speaking to an officer," he snapped ruefully, before continuing in a more grave tone, "From what little we know about these people, one of the few values they share in common with the Alliance is an enduring sense of honor. I've just called them liars, that will warrant some sort of response. I hope for peace, Captain, but I am not willing to kowtow in order to achieve it. I am an instrument of the Triumvirate's will, invested in them by the people of the Galactic Federation, and I cannot subvert their dictate. That dictate is the liberation of Kaeshana."

"Then what do you actually expect to achieve here?" the Captain voice the question before he had time to remember his place.

"A beginning," President Sovv said after taking the time to consider, turning past the bridge crew to gaze out at the space battle beyond, "For someone in the First Order to see that we have souls the same as them, and for us to see the same. Plus...when one side or the other decides enough lives have been thrown away, someone has to be around to pick up the pieces."

Ludolf's saber-cat had a single Quad Laser Cannon, firing at a single ship. The fun thing about the Rekali-class was when you shot at it, its shields hurt you back with energy feed backs. Seeing as the Conner Net seemed to be largely ignored, that turret would turn on the fighters the streaked in front of Laira to save the Saber-Cat Walker from her initial bombardment, firing off the large net canisters.

"Neat." She said as she wove closer to the ship. It became obvious the First Order would toss fighters in the way of any assault from long range, and they certainly seemed to have spare, which meant any significant assault she launched would be wasted if not done from point blank.

The good news for her, she was in a beskar armored gunship built for toughness and durability and designed for pulling what would otherwise be stupid maneuvers. She had the accelerator maxed out, gunning straight for the command walker, still spraying heavy ion cannon and large explosive mass driver rounds into it, though those weren't having noticeable effect. Even anti-capital ship rockets weren't having significant impact on it apparently. Luckily for her, the entire payload of explosives on Rakehell was specifically designed to disable and destroy capital ships, and this was little more than a walking light corvette.

Laira worked the pedals at her feet, rocking the vessel as she advanced on the walker, waiting until she came to point blank range, her shields soaking what quad laser fire she took, reflecting some of that energy back into the big, slow walker. Sweeping around towards the rear of the vessel, she unleashed the next two missiles into it in subsequent order, an Intruder Missile and an Ion Torpedo, hoping the intruder missile would damage the shields enough to let the ion missile slip through and impact the walker directly.

The redhead hauled on the stick, pulling it up, but she had timed it so that she would like scrap paint with the oversized AT-AT walker. Wouldn't hurt her much, but might help burn out the shields of the large walker, but would certainly disable her exterior shielding in the process. Laira continued to try and block out her nerves with some success as she battled the giant walker, she was very familiar with.

Another burst of laser fire from the Four Taim & Bak Laser Cannons went flying in an attempt to strike at [member="Sara Lee Jones"] ' primary sensor array's and computer targeting systems. If she could disable it, all the better.

Red Eleven and Red Twelve took to sending a series of laser fire down at the First Order Forces below, where [member="Ludolf Vaas"] would be attempting to coordinate efforts for the First Order. He would find that those ground forces would receive a pummeling upon the various First Order Vehicles with volley after volley of laser fire.

[SIZE=10pt]They cut swath through the rebel combatants, dropping them like irritating insects in dire need of extermination. Only those few who tossed their armament away received momentary mercy, their passion for rebellion gone when faced with death and war crashing down their heads. Family men following their hearts or excitable teenagers hoping to change the galaxy – now reduced to sobbing cowards who prayed to be back in the warmth of their homes while an immeasurable carnage took place, one signed by Sith ruthlessness and brutality. It was swift, precise, methodical, devoid of compassion, breaking the rebellion’s back and cracking its spirit. Several explosions announced hand grenades in use, dealing some casualties to the robots and placing a momentary delay on their advance. A short-lived laugh followed until three blaster bolts opened the perpetrator’s chest and spilled out his scorched and torn lungs, still painfully trying to extract oxygen.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Three rebels saw the youngest Ren an easy target – or, rather, a chance of pushing through the enemy walls and escaping with their lives. Releasing legendary war cries of both anger and desperation, they simultaneously jumped from cover and tried to keep the girl’s body in the scopes of their rifles while their legs carried them towards her position. Even the surviving rest, seeing the weights of fortune heavily measured against them, turned to run and battle another day, only to flee straight into the droids that had surrounded them, cutting off any escape attempts. Backed up by three Force users, lacking fear or hesitation, bound together by technology and flawless tactics, the droid forces suffered minimal losses, performing one final sweep and planting three shots of certainty to every dead or wounded rebel’s head, even if their mouths still moved and reported stoppage. [SIZE=10pt]Once Darth Veles’ lightsaber stopped singing its deadly hum and no longer found living flesh to feast upon, the Dark lord ventured into the comm tower itself. While a perfect sniper’s nest, the building’s advantage has been positively eliminated by the misty white cover clouding its top, negating its danger. The lift’s journey all the way up was swift, offering a strange moment completely detached from death, yet one tragically ended in a sweet spray of blaster fire sent towards the new arrival. Two slashes, two corpses, and he walked over to the consoles used to operate the structure’s main purpose. Just one rebel remained, hands frantically trying to make it work – a task doomed to fail thanks to the latest development on the battlefield, be it the falling Star Destroyer or destructive weather.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]A shimmering torrent of blue lightning connected with the rebel’s back, eliciting enough pain to force the crippled man down upon the console and remain motionless. The Sith lord’s booted feet brought him closer to inspect the body, which revealed itself to have one more trick stored up its sleeve. Upon Darth Veles’ approach, the seemingly incapacitated rebel spun around, a thermal detonator in hands. His eyes showed a dangerous thing; defiance, even when death knocked on the door.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]One fluid flash of red and both arms fell off, still gripping the thermal detonator tightly. Before the man lost balance and joined his severed limbs, Darth Veles’ cybernetic hand seized his neck and stopped the catastrophe from happening. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]“Look into my eyes,” [/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]the Sith lord spoke softly, establishing eye contact and capitalizing on the rebel’s pain to untie his tongue more easily through dominating his will. The dark side wriggled into the prisoner’s brain like a treacherous maggot, ready to eat through the infected mind and root out the desired information, even if doing so completely erased all traces of personality. In the Sith lord’s hands, the dismembered prisoner became a softer, fleshier version of the HRDs. [/SIZE]

Location: Moving towards to reinforce the walker where everyone's decided to attack.
Equipment: Sonic Rifle, Riot Baton, Blaster Pistol and standard issue stormtrooper gear.
Compliment: 33 Stormtroopers.

"How serendipitus," Twigg mused, "That that walker was all nice and taken care of before she could cause too much of a ruckus." The unit was in tight formation, moving towards the outer defensive perimeter of the Citadel. The Allies were preparing a push the only way they could, and Rexus knew it was time to push just right back. They were armed with a variety of weapons, but the most prominent were the sonic rifles and heavy repeaters, weapons made to mow down formations and crush the GA's Jedi advantage.
"Stop using big words!" Rexus snapped, "Look, we need to get really tactical with all this, I want you all to stay in cover as much as possible." Rexus commanded, "We're going to try to engage from cover, and slow down these karkers as much as possible." Rexus said, he looked to his left, and his right, "Each and everyone of you is going to be responsible for the man beside you."

"Sir yes sir!" The stormtroopers bellowed behind him.

"We're the Gundark Gunners," Rexus said, "And we're gonna show these barstards what First Imperial force really feels like!"

Objective: Slaughter the Lambs

Impact.

The group slid out into the darkness covered hall of the Avenger's lower decks. the sounds of imperial klaxons briefly assaulted his eardrums before his helmet filtered the sound out, activating night vision mode to compensate for the poor visibility. An electrical surge following the hull intrusion must've killed power to the sector of the ship they were in he assumed. The Sith Lord spun around as a pair of crimson bolts screamed past him striking into the wall nearest. Battle was already joined. Just when he motioned towards his lightsaber his vision forward was blocked by a group of apes forming a shield wall around them, the thick duraplast shielding protecting the group from the oncoming enemy barrage while more ApeX warriors returned fire down the hall. They couldn't be held down by these intrusions, the enemy would just swarm them with the many thousands of soldiers aboard. It was crucial that they weren't held down for long.

Enough was enough.

Braxus swept up to the line of shields drawing from his side the dark runeblade Daesumnor, a pair of the large creatures suddenly stepped aside allowing the Sith Lord through right into the large gathering of enemy troopers just down the hall. A pair of thermal soared through the air towards the group primed and ready for detonation....only they stopped. A simple snap of his free hand held the grenades in mid air, and a swift tossing motion sent them hurling back to the enemy troops engulfing the end of the hall in a bright orange plume. "Switch targets! Switch targets!" He could hear an enemy officer bellow out to his men, who did as commanded with all blaster rifles pointing at the approaching Sith Lord. But just as these naïve soldiers reached for the triggers to deliver their great payload, he snapped his hand back towards his chest sending their blasters careening to the floor.

"Run."

He descended upon them then a swift application of the force sent the dark titan forward like a blur to those ungifted in the force, carnage soon followed. Every swing of the runeblade brought blood spattering the walls, severed limbs falling to the floor, and more souls robbed of an escape to the netherworld. In the darkness of the hall the only light that truly showed the horror of what occurred was the great blast of crimson lightning that erupted from the blade itself, charring the poor soul within his own armor which subsequently melted onto his skin.

"Advance!'

This one will do.

HK thought through his cognitive processes as he scanned over Jude from the distance, watching him and his team move carefully through the ruins. The droid took his Magnetic Repeater rifle off of his back, placing it on a nearby ledge as he patiently kept his sentry, putting the flaps of chameleon cloak to drape over the barrel and scope and make sure the weapon was hidden while he aimed, at least most of it, the muzzle of the barrel still poked out from below the material but in a blizzard a small seemingly floating tube in a charred window was a rather hard thing to notice.

Speaking of the blizzard, it made the droid's aiming somewhat awkward, every time Jude and his troopers would disappear behind rubble, wall, or other sort of cover HK's vision would switch to heat automatically to keep track of their movement via thermal signatures. Problem is the snow and cold winds would sweep over it like tv static, making it a difficult process. While he could still generally tell where they were and where he would aim, any precise shots would be more or less impossible while they were behind a wall.

A whole squad, that is not good.

HK calculated to himself as he angled the rifle, subtly shifting it as he tracked Jude's movements to align it with aiming trajectory,

They should have brought more, a squad will not last long enough to consider it a fight.

While the droid aimed the rifle, he was still looking at Jude and his troops from the window, cloaked, the beauty of a droid using a computerized scope was that he did not had to actually look through it to aim, instead it was connected to his process wirelessly, freeing him up to keep track of his surroundings so that no one would flank him, and using his own photoreceptors and scanners along with the scope to triangulate Jude's position and movement so that he could judge the distance, wind, and other variables better and take the shot with more precision.

The crosshairs of the scope would follow the trajectory of Jude's knees, tracking it and waiting for an moment where he would be outside of cover, even for just a brief moment, there was no need for HK to make things harder on himself, besides, he wanted them to think they would be safe behind cover should the fight prolong itself. In actuality it was not his aim to kill Jude, or his soldiers, he was only there to disable and neutralize them, sure, that usually meant killing them, but if they gave up after having their kneecaps and joints blown away or bones broken enough, then all the better. In the end the droid knew they were following orders from higher ups, that's why during atrocities like for example the Siege of Druckenwell, when the Confederacy dropped the planet's orbital shipyard on its own citizens simply because they were going to loose it to the Protectorate, HK ordered his soldiers to arrest only officers, common soldiers were free to leave, even given a lift off of the ruined planet.

Either way, all he needed was the tiniest of openings, briefest of moments, to do what most organics were not able to do, at least not without using the Force. Finally he saw just that, a crack in the wall, ruined gap with a scar-like opening wide enough for him to sneak a bullet through, his trackers calculated that Jude was going to pass right next to it,

One shot,

HK calculated to himself as his finger begun to hover over the shatterrifle's trigger and the time slowed down in his perception, in his vision dotted lines extended out from Jude's legs, plotting his current course, another line was pulled from the muzzle through the crack, calculating trajectory of the hyper-velocity pellet and where it could connect with his target,

Two knees,

Lines appeared on the sides of the pellet's trajectory, calculating the variables that could alter its course like wind, gravity, any stray passerbys that thankfully were not present since the city was dead and the closest soldiers were tracked by HK as well as they were Jude's retinue. Finally slowly Jude's legs came into view as he was walking by the crack, first one knee came into view, the trajectory was already set up there to meet it, then the droid waited for the other to make an appearance as well, watching it slowly swing into the view like a pendulum, waiting for that one perfect moment where stars, and kneecaps, aligned for him to end the fight quickly in a swift ambush.

He pulled the trigger.

His rifle jolted into his arm silently as it let loose the pellet, recoil dampened by the droid's strong, trained grip, one of the benefits of the shatterguns were that they fired silently, after all magnets did not made noise, their pellets did travel many times over the speed of sound, which explained how such small projectiles caused so much damage, on multiple occasions HK used them to bent Phrik plates of armored opponents and used them as anti-vehicle weaponry. The sonic boom was absorbed and silenced within the barrel, so that the shockwave would nod damage the electromagnetic systems from the inside, somehow they were also able not to have it cause a second boom once it left the barrel and sound dampening systems, advanced Galactic technology and all that, the pellet did make a sound as it cut through the air at high speed, but since it traveled faster than sound it would meet its target first, or miss, before the sound would reach whoever was fired at. Hopefully, with the blizzard still raging on that would not be enough for Jude and his crew to determine from where the shot came from.

WHMMMMMMMMMM

The bullet flew away from HK's gun without a flash or thunder as the rotating chamber in his rifle turned over,

khr-kr

Already reading another shot from his overwatch position to be ready for any counter attack or to fire a second shot should he have enough time. It was one of the strengths of this newer shattergun models, they could fire shots in much quicker succession than older rifles HK designed, the problem is that the revolving chamber was not silent, it caused a soft whirring noise that most organics were able to pick up on, but then again, hopefully the blizzard would mask that.

The point of the attack was to cut through both of Jude's kneecaps while he passed through a small opening in a ruined wall, the pellet, in best-case scenario, was aimed to pass between the major armor plates on his leg, at joints where armor was usually non-existent or weakened to provide more mobility, cut its way through his tendons and cartilage connecting the kneecap to his leg, exit on the other side, hit his other leg at the same opening to repeat it and cripple him. Of course, since there were so many variables, like the opening in the wall, the blizzard, other troops, and the Force itself, which usually was the biggest trouble-maker when HK tried to snipe, not everything probably went according to plan. Perhaps Jude got warning from the Force about danger, at least he could not sense HK's determination to shoot him since droid hidden behind a veil of Force-repelling armor, but he was already tense, maybe he stopped himself just in front of the opening, or before his second leg moved in to have only one injured. Or perhaps HK simply miscalculated and missed all together. Either way, the droid hoped to cause at least a major injury to one of his Jude's legs to make the rest of the encounter that much easier.

FN-888, Asharad, Audren Sykes

FN would be able to hear a march of heavy footsteps add to the noise of the battle as the phalanx of battle droids sent by Abregado would be ordered to face off against his entrenched troops. As the drones came into range, walking in their neat formation like toy soldiers, they moved their blaststaves into ready position, aiming them towards 888 and his stormtrooper brethren likes pikes. It would be clear soon enough that these were not mere melee weapons and they suddenly lighted up in the furious red streaks of quickly firing blaster fire. Each stuff was more or less a blaster repeater, able to launch a whole torrent of plasma bolts at its target. Of course, they were far from accurate weaponry, just like the repeaters, but when the first two rows of phalanx, 12 droids in total, begun to fire so much plasma bolts in one direction, just like muskets, you did not need to worry about accuracy much because you were bound to hit something useful with so many shots.

To make things worse there were also three spider droids that skittered from the flanks to join the assault, armed with the imposing shattergun rotary cannons, their multiple barrels begun to rotate as the mobile weapon platforms grounded themselves, before letting out a thunderous repetitive noise,

BWAH-KHRA-KHRA-KHRA-KHRA-KHRAM

The heavy shatterguns sounded out, sending a hail of deadly hyper velocity projectiles against the fortified stormtrooper lines, if they hit sound bags there was a

WHAM-sthshshshshshss

As the bags exploded from the impact, sending out a rain of sand around their location, if they his a hard barricade there was a

KHRAAK

As it shattered on the impact point against the rain of pellets that could punch even through heavy vehicles, causing it to crack quickly before collapsing as more and more shots poured out against it

Here's the problem, one that Auden had to face. While he was jumping around, showing off his profession in the arts of the Force and finesse, this was just the opposite, it was a brutal straight forward assault, like a charge of Dwarven warriors. He may or may not have had to be careful being so close to the stormtroopers when the droids joined the fray to not get hit by friendly fire on accident.

Asharad would be able to, of course, see all of this from where he was.

Aizen, Brent Smith, Elpsis Elaris, Joza Perl,

Again, as the three of them engaged in combat there were heavy footsteps heard, this time heavier and slower still than a droid phalanx. Around a corner of the ruins a rather small walker would make an appearance, the Dwarf Walker HK brought along. It was wide and stout, and it carrier two rather large and nasty looking guns. One of them was a shattergun minigun, which begun to rotate as it came into view of Brent's makeshift light cavalry, it would not take long before it fired, sounding out that,

BWAH-KHRA-KHRA-KHRA-KHRA-KHRAM

Heard on the other part of the battlefield, although this one was slightly more quiet, since the gun was also smaller and there were not three of it firing at the same time.

The hail of hyper-velocity shots was aimed to lash out against the line of his light vehicles firing towards Elpsis and her troops, just laying down a cover of fire to take out as many of the mobile E-Webs as he could before they went on the move, or turned the fire towards the mobile machine.

With heavy steps it begun to lumber closer, heading closing the distance to put its other gun to use as well, although not being able to wobble close enough to do so just yet.

Ludolf Vaas,

Joining the assault against his titanic AT-AT were the remaining two spider-droids equipped with long range anti-armor weaponry. Considering that what they fielded were just enlarged shatterguns, or miniature hyper velocity cannons depending on how one looked on them, they should be in enough range to lay down some fire against the machine.

The bots would do so from the cover of ruins, their programmed behavior had them skitter into sight, take aim, fire off around of a solid anti-armor projectile that so far Abregado's forces could punch through any heavy vehicle they met, but then again they didn't fire at a vehicle quite as large or armored as Ludolf's walker, so this was really a test of how hard their guns could punch. After all, ARGH's motto was "Give us a shattergun big enough and we can shoot anything through anything.", but then again HK and his ilk claimed a lot of things in the current Galactic History. Either way, their behavior was pretty predictable, since they were only drones, not even that intelligent when it came to droid AI standards, but at the very least they would be able to weaken his deflector shields further before being spotted and destroyed.

The hypervelocity solid shots the machines fired were aimed at the AT-AT's neck and the plexiglass screen of the cockpit, although at that range they may as well have been carried by the blizzard to strike against its main armor piece, although at least one or two shots in the repetitive salvos should find their mark. This was less of an "Let's take this thing down" and more of an "Hey, guys, look, we're doing something, we're part of this!" bombardment.

When Ludolf begun to fire at Siobhan he could see two armored HK droids come to flank her sides, although it was too late to stop and intercept majority of his fire, one did look directly at him and raised its own sniper rifle, a heavy variant of Abregado's Magnetic Repeater, and fired off a burst in Ludolf's direction, six hyper-velocity shots moving faster than sound. Same as Ludolf, the machine wasn't as much hellbent on outright killing the man and just getting him suppressed to get behind cover and stop shooting.

Nils Brenner,

The pilot's initial engagement against GA transports provided results as three dropships broke through the skies, heading for the LZ, one of them being stricken by his stream of laser bolts and catching fire, spiraling down to the air before Kurt moved to intercept him. Amidst the maneuvers and dogfighting perhaps Nils would be able to see a husk of a deactivated droid tank emerging from the wrecked dropship, he may have not taken down all of the reinforcements amidst the sky-turmoil he was facing from Kurt, but at least he denied his enemy more much needed heavy armored units.

The other two dropships touched down, one opened revealing inside another platoon of Iron Leggionaires drones that begun to be unfolded and deployed by the automated system, in the other there were five more light mobile weapons spider droids, this time three anti-armor and two anti-infantry, that skittered out to join their comrades in putting down more support fire against FO positions.

As the spider-bots went off into the sunset the drones moved to form their neat rectangle phalanx, clutching their blast-staves, before marching off to further reinforce Firemane and GA positions.

New Forces: + 60 Iron Legionnaire Drones armed with Abregado Blast-Staves, moving in a 6x10 phalanx

There was no pause as Kaalia ended the life of rebel after rebel. She didn't listen to their pleas this time around- she didn't even hear the begging for mercy. Blue and red flashes were the last things Kaalia's enemies saw before their lifeless bodies slumped to the floor one by one. The passion she felt was intoxicating, and she used every drop of it to fuel her resolve. The young Ren felt alive ending the lives of others.

Three rebels took aim at her, shouting their war cries as they took aim at the redhead. They fired at the same time, forcing a reaction. Deflecting two shots with her sabers, she lept sideways as the last shot nearly grazed her side. Kaalia wasn't going to let them fire again. Hey eyes locked with their shapes in the blizzard, then a blue flash could be seen flying towards their location as she threw her saber out of pure rage. Deflecting their next shots mid-air, the saber slashed through a rebel's gut, letting the now two seperate pieces fall into the snow. The Ren switched her red sbaer from her right to left hand, and dashed forward. Deflecting their shots as she dashed up close, she gathered the Force around her hand, using telekinesis to return her saber to her right hand. A snap-hiss was heard, followed by two screams as the other two rebels both now had a beam of light sticking through their chest, coming out at their backs as Kaalia stood between them. The blades of light retracted as two more lives were claimed.

The rebels stood no chance against the the Knights of Ren and HRD droids, and minimal damage was suffered. As the battle died down, so did her passion and rage, casting her mind back to Lynn. She sprinted over where she had left the girl, to see she was still there. "You're back!" She said, her positive voice indicating she didn't witness what the Ren just did. "I promised I would, didn't I? Come on, it's safe now. Let's get to the tower." Kaalia led Lynn to the tower. As they entered, Kaalia turned to the young girl once more. "Stay with the droids again, okay? The rest of us are going to make sure everything is safe in the rest of the tower. If you see anyone dangerous, hide behind those boxes, alright?" She gave her another quick hug before following Darth Veles up the tower.

Kaiden grunted as he got flung into a pillar. As far as getting thrown went, it didn't hurt that bad. He picked up his rifle, the one that Noah had made specifically for this kind of fight. He probably had around twenty rounds or so left. So, he flicked it to full-auto, aimed up from the ground at the Vader-wannabe.

He stood up as he fired, roaring a mighty Havoc squad roar at him. He dropped the magazine, and quickly reloaded. He sent the bolt him and charged straight at the Sith. He wasn't close enough to hit him, or the lightsaber to do anything to him, but he was definitely getting close and was gonna really mess his day up with that full-auto rampage. His grouping was tight- it centered mostly around his chest. Not even the best Jedi could deflect every single one of his shots. Not even the best Sith.

"Eat it, you ugly son of a queen!"

He slipped onto his left hand one of his durasteel knuckle dusters. He was gonna have some fun with this Sith.

"You didn't listen, did you?!" His elder ally chastised cruelly.

"I don't speak Huttese."

The eight Eldorai that Xerrzyk had left behind paused, staring back and forth between each other. Then, at once, in this small moment of sedated calm, the men of shared heritage let loose hushed laughs. A chuckle that only grew more loudly as another impact from above loosed chunks of brick and stone from above, a strew of fecal projectiles painting dots across turning faces and shielding arms.

"Go get more!" The oldest commanded, with heaving laugh. "You three, make for the old Star port, you know what to get."

"On it, "

"OK. This is Courtyard, " He marked with a square and two lines. "start dismantling, I'm going to map PalCit." He sloshed off slowly through thick, waist deep muck. Red Beam Light in hand, while he counted out fitting spacers, and burrow crosscuts. Twelve Fuel Tubes, Four Power Cores, HD Power Coils, HS Core and Ion Exciters.

He hoped Xerrzyk would be back before he had to try and lead this Operation. When the Klatooinian had left he made it sound as if it was as easy as flicking a switch. As if the simple process of finger to light switch was just as straightforward as rigging an explosive out of disabled Ship and Speeder parts.

He'd gladly suffer another asteroid impact than have to spend his life in Hutt Space.

"KILLYA E CHU TA!" The stomping horde cried, "KAKO KREESPA E CHU TA!!!"

Through the eerie haze of frozen sleet, and slush snow that pelt and assail the field of Battle. They were coming. The grim slaughter of the Santaissa Cross-Roads was about to begin. Every minute these First Order continued to fight, continued to molest and rampage this World. They were going to receive every ounce of it back.

Flesh for flesh.

"NO RETREAT!" The barking voice of the Klatooinian cut the hiss and rend of raging blizzard, his breath expanding as misted fog. A demon of the night sent to unleash ruin and misery.

"NO SURRENDER!" Blood lust had set in, the Slaver, the Master Insurgent had a way of bringing out the worst in others.

A beast without Borders, an expatriate on his own World. Six-O had a Sensor for talent, for monsters.

"Make them hear! MAKE THEM!"

"KILLYA E CHU TA!" The volume seemed to find an even more ferocious pitch.

The Western road seemed to loosen it's torrent of fire, momentarily taken aback by the slow trudging horror that kept coming through the sloppy South passage, and heavy white out.

"KREESPA E CHU TA!!!!"

"They NU'THIN! NU'THIN I TELL YOU!" Xerrzyk bellowed with great roaring boom. A few red beams lazily probing inches by him. With pistol in hand and a snarl curling his features so fiercely it'd have terrified a Rancor he slapped whip through air aimlessly. "KILLYA E CHU TA!" he joined, cracking two shots from his Cylix Pistol through the howling white as the Building's shape loomed as slate grey monolith before them.

"RRRHHAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" An Eldorai suddenly hollered out in some sort of dissociated murder fever. He'd ran forward several paces ahead, standing with half of his body concealed by an angular rock that had just stabbed down in to the ground with a sloshy crush. Over his shoulder he flung a Rocket Propelled Explosive. An old device of cruel design, the concussion was enough todaze and injure, but it's main purpose was to maim with shrapnel. "KREESPA E CHU TAAAAA!!" He continued on, hands held up in victory as a bloom of fire suddenly stoked the great winter that beset them, the explosive had hit the ceiling through a busted out window on the Southern side.

"KILLYA E CHU TA!"

They sang on, Speeder with their Heavy gun backing in to position to strafe and abuse the Stormtroopers from 1200 Meters. An angled aim, rocks on the passenger side of the vehicle.

This Cross-Roads was about to become the killing fields, [member="Pharazon Draken"] would need to utilize every trick and dirty play to get himself and his men through this.

And then, the shooting started.

Elsewhere as the Chaos level rose across the city and world proper, Six-O yet endured on. For a brief moment, it seemed as if his four thousand plus cycle of self-aware consciousness had come to an end. But this Galaxy could not rid itself of the wildly unhinged Droid that easily.

Gears and servomotors labored with great grinding cries as rock and rubble were dislodged from below. More and more crust of stone heaved with powerful breath, until finally, a machine arose from cataflaque. His Sensor dome was dented, three of the gleaming orbs shattered. He began to run a diagnostic.

Sparks eruct with snapping hiss from his damaged shoulder, a blanket of snow stretched in every direction. For a very brief moment he could not calculate his exact whereabouts.

87% Combat Effective.

It came back to him, the diagnostic scan ceased.

His blast armor was scored from the bolts that had struck him, his metal tarnished with black stain and dust that quickly became mud in the wet snow and rain. He hoist one leg free with heavy force, then his other. His weapons had managed to keep slung upon his body, but lost 12 of his remaining 38 rounds from ammunition belt breaking under the pressure and intensity of the impact he had just withstood.

Fixing grasp to his weapon he laggardly stumbled down the destruction to the ground with thudding foot falls.

Skirmish, Harass, Exterminate.

He ran his mission perimeters. Link with [member="HK-36"] kept him ever vigilant, and ever aware of the dynamic battlefield. He assessed his options.

Communications Tower.

His fellow Free Droid would be pinged, Six-O was back on the move.

Nate Barrett had gladly accepted the Grand Moff's invitation, anything was better than sitting around in his quarters, hoping to the gods that he survived the humanitarian mission gone full inverted. After being shuffled into the general area of the Grand Moff's quarters his ears picked up a particularly pointed conversation occurring between a First Order Captain and what he assumed to be a Galactic Alliance official. As he listened to their man speak, the Commissioner of Riflor furled his brow, the not so distant memories of the artillery that had been loosed upon Santaissa by who knows - but it wasn't much longer before the Galactic Alliance reared its ugly head in the system. From where Nathaniel Barrett had stood, from where he'd held the dying in his own arms...

He shook his head, his jaw tensing. Taking a breath he reminded himself that he was a reasonable man, not to speak in anger or a sharp tongue. Listening as the voice on the other end spoke, his blood began to boil. A problem? They had a problem? It took everything he had in him to keep from reaching out and activating the comm himself but such lack of restraint in front of the Grand Moff of all people would most certainly be a career ender, and so - much to his chagrin - he listened, framing a response in his mind as the conversation continued.

As the representative from the Galactic Alliance brought his monologue to a close, Nate listened carefully. What came next could mean the difference between an exchange of words or an exchange of fire and he for one was sick of the anti-First Order rhetoric he'd heard time and time again spat from their lips. It was like listening to a broken holo-disk, repeating the same thing over and over - no change, no ingenuity. An uncharacteristic sneer spread across the New Advorian Commissioner's features. Listening, he heard the Captain reply.

:: Your demands? I don't think you heard me correctly - Now the way I see it you'd best listen here before I give you... Skkkkchtht ::

Nathaniel had heard the sharp edge on the Captain's voice, the way he'd begun to give way to raw emotion over logical discourse - certainly not something he wanted to allow to dominate the conversation. Gently keying in to the channel, he rose his voice, a hesitant glance at the Grand Moff before he began.

"Excuse me Captain, I believe we have more urgent matters at hand. Hold your position and make sure we get our medical staff to the surface in one piece. " Of course, Nate knew he had no authority over the man, but as he well knew, fortune did indeed favor the bold, and so he continued, his usual confidence returning. "Mr. Sovv, this is Nathaniel Barret. I happen to be the Commissioner of New Advora, that's on Riflor in case you weren't familiar. Firstly I'd like to say I'm glad you've reached out to us... but that is where all pleasantry stops. As you've stated, we do have a problem, but I regret to inform you my perception of the entire ordeal currently unfolding on the ground isn't nearly as naive as yours. I was there when the first rounds of artillery were fired, I held the dying in my arms when your troops along with this - Firemane - corporation launched full scale attacks on our humanitarian forces already on the ground." The Commissioner paused momentarily, clenching an empty fist. "How dare you assume that we are here to do nothing but subjugate. I will have you know that just as they have on Riflor, the First Order fully intended to provide assistance to these people. I am sure you're unfamiliar with Riflor, truth be told it's somewhat of a backwater world, much like Kaeshana here, but no longer. I won't bore you with the details as those are something you and your glorious Alliance like to ignore, but Riflor is a geo-unstable planet - ravaged by similar condition as Kaeshana, though naturally, not torn by war. The First Order has specifically seen to it that the planet and its people, the native Advosec have seen over a 300% increase in their quality of live to include sanitation and livability."

Taking a brief moment to pause and let his words sink in, he continued further, not daring to glance at Natasi Fortan who certainly must have been in somewhat of a shock.

"You claim to want to root out Dark Side Cultists... Is it not your allies who appear to be creating storms on the surface?"

Nate pressed a few buttons, his recent exposure to the media on his home planet of Riflor giving him an uncanny ability to utilize computer systems. Queing up a transmission of the lightning storm bringing down the FIV Wrath and the current blizzard on the surface to where Jaius Sovv would inevitably see it.

"How is this humanitarian? Your people have killed numerous innocents - and until you have the priveledge of holding your own countrymen in your arms as they take their last breaths and bear the full weight of explaining exactly why it is that they were killed by artillery on a humanitarian mission to a likewise ravaged planet as their own, I suggest you temper your demands so that we can bring this flaring of conflict to a close, and quickly."

He had said his piece... and he hoped to the gods that the Grand Moff had something to follow up on - he had lost control and it showed in the bitter anger laced in his voice. Sitting back in his chair he sighed, hands shaking visibly.
