Conquest of Alderaan [One Sith vs Republic]

@Kiyron

When the soldier threw his empty rifle at Malphas, it didn't do anything except aggravate him when it just bounced off of his durasteel helmet instead of unbalancing him if that was what the Republic soldier was trying to do.

Then he tried to reach past the Hydra's heads. It didn't work like that.

Two of them reared straight at his hand, just as it changed into a whip like form, and pulling it behind him, his hand snapped out towards @Kiyron, and then the five heads were launched straight towards his face and shoulder area, at a speed and strength akin to a powerful Sith Knight who trained himself in such ways. Whilst simultaneously drawing upon the Force to form a force stun over the soldier to hold him in place. With the suddenness of it, it would surely bring him down.

Settles the corpses into the cargo storage of the Stealth-X fighter as carefully as possible.

Quickly jumps in, fires up the engines and takes off. She jerks up on the yoke and takes it skyward in a 70 degree angle and hits the atmosphere within seconds.

She received a message on the way out...one that caused her to raise an eyebrow in curiosity.

Balaya rose, the one wild shot as her hand came out going into her cheek with a scream. Her anger flaring and a charred flap of flesh from her exposed cheek showing. Her blade sliced while the other hand squeezed, she wanted this woman to suffer and she slashed rotating the woman to preform a mou kei mark of contact on her limbs. She would make her suffer as from her right shoulder she rotated Ellain clockwise to try and take her arms and legs. Her anger flaring as she tried to throw her back before grasping at her face.

Her voice would purr within his ear. The mark of the Chosen pulsing at his temple with each syllable she purred.

Just like the late Terrak Morrhage, the Eye of the Dark Lord would twist and manipulate [member="Talon Vosra"]'s mind. Now that the two who could have healed him, shielded him from the Dark Plague she had woven onto him were dead. There was no escaping her now.

He was hers.

An hour and a half ago…

Cutting through the brilliance of space, Asmundr was constantly in awe of its expansive wonder. There was so much in the dimensions of the uncharted to explore, that he never entertained the notion of boredom.

His opportunities had been great. His most recent making him the gatekeeper of the brilliant Kenobi-Praxeum; a mobile learning temple for young force users interested in dedicating their lives to the practices of The Jedi.

As a result, the overpowering physique of the Valkyrie stood steadfast in the command deck of the praxeum. His massive hands wrapped around a gold plated staff, of the same metal as the ship itself. His never still eyes swirled in golden flecks as stories strung throughout the galaxy. The oracle was invited to spectate on them all. He saw mirthful children, weeping slaves, scheming lovers, devious Sith, politicians. None with strong intentions were unavailable to him.

Then, he picked up something very, very strong indeed. Death.

A slow blink plagued his eyelids and he frowned.

“Pilot.” His voice was deep and resounding. “Where are we.”

“Cusp of the Aalderanian systems, sir.”

Asmundr didn’t reply. He only closed his eyes as a vision of desperation flooded over his eyes. There were hisses and screams — coming from this area. He remembered what this lesson was to be; the appreciation of arts and culture.

“Are there other ships in this system, commander?”

“No sir.”

It was the future he was seeing.

“Chart an exit from this place. The lessons will not continue here. Make the jump to the next destination — we will come back when this is over.

In the meantime, I will pay a visit. I sense much distress to come from this realm. Prepare a shuttle for dispatch, Commander.

And I will be returning.”

Present Time.

The golden-horned Viking stood among several Jedi volunteers in the M47 drop ship from the Praxeum's hangar. He was a little confused where to go, his eyes were stormy and wild with all the visuals.

"There." He said plainly, and the ship seemed to know what he was saying. I mean, looking at something the size of a Rancor is a pretty obvious objective. The ship curled appropriately, and cut through the atmosphere; skimming under the belly of the plasma that ignited the skies above Alderaan.

It would be appropriate for he who supported learning so much, to go toward the Library.

Myr twisted the lightsaber handle in a small oval, cutting through the wall slowly until it finally fell into itself. The wall fell onto the ground with a slight push, and Myr slipped through the hole he had created. Slowly he moved through and to the other side, finding himself in a small dining hall, likely used at one point for small dinner function with the royal family.

He sniffed the air, and then grinned, moving to the next wall. He stabbed his saber into the rock and began to carve it inch by inch. Another hole was created, and again Myr moved through. He repeated the process twice more, and then walked over to the wall to the right.

Beyond it he could see men and machines, he watched them for a moment and then grinned.

His saber stabbed into the wall, and held in place. Slowly he melted his way through the heavy duracrete and likely durasteel. Beyond this wall was the command center. Red glowing metal and rock began to melt away, it fell in clumps and large chunks. Myr simply held the blade in place, wiggling it and moving it about as a hole began to form.

Beyond the wall he could see the men and women rushing about, drawing their blasters and panicking as Myr cut through the wall.

Then finally, he withdrew the lightsaber and pulled back.

He thrust his palm forward, pushing the molten slag of a wall into the next room. He sprayed the command center and the people within with hot metal and melted rock. They screamed in pain and yelled for help as their skin burnt to a crisp. Myr merely laughed, stepping through the hole and slashing at a nearby man with the force.

Several of the men were rolling on the floor screeching in pain, but they were quietly ignored. Instead Myr chose the man who seemed to have the highest rank.

He reached over to him, grasping him by the scruff of his neck and lifting him from the floor. Molten shrapnel sizzled in his skin and his quiet whimpers seemed to shred the Miraluka's ears. He frowned slightly, but then thrust the man into the nearest computer console.

“Shut it off. All of it.” He commanded.

OBJECTIVE: Fly, you fool.

Kill them all.

That could be done. Take a bit of work, mind you.

Of course, it would be hampered by the fact that the hospital was beginning to come down. You can't slaughter the masses when you're trapped under mounds of rubble now, can you? No. Let's ponder a question together friends, a serious query if you will:

Can dinosaurs fly?

Well, some can. No, scratch that. New question:

Can Mantorok fly?

We're about to find out.

Mantorok started running, rage permeated his being, flowed through him he held it, let it begin to devour him as he ran. He began to roar as he sprinted towards the edge. Stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp. Leap.

His heart went thud thud thud as the world slowed down into nothing. Mantorok soared, limbs loose, screeching into the wind. Knees slightly bent, legs together, how many stories was this? The ground became closer and closer. Too fast. Mantorok hit the ground with furious impact landing on the balls of his feet but then continuing forward into what was an incredibly brutal roll. How many times did he roll? Too many to count.

“GAAH....AHHH....ARGHH...”

Mantorok found himself upon his back. Pain lingering. He was hurt. He throbbed, but most importantly he was alive. Adrenaline pulsed, the worm within him urging him to charge forth. He wasn't safe just yet, he needed to get away from the hospital's vicinity, so Mantorok crawled, finding that his legs refused to function properly.

So many wished her death.

Except one. Constantly playing catch up, Sciath moved watching the Jedi sail above him and then turn once more attacking Daella. The woman had the ability to survive, still she had need for him so he continued to survive as well. Images of two other woman flashed in his mind – he couldn't protect them he was never in the right place at the right time. His master though, she was here and he would protect her to his best abilities.

As she avoided [member="Ryan Korr"] 's attacks he made his way closing the small gap the pair had created between him and them. Sciath was a man on a mission and with that he reached out into the Force focused on the Jedi Knight that seemed hell bent on harming his Master. With the Force he pulled at the Knight attempting to draw him farther away from Daella. [member="Darth Junra"]

Maverick was on a second run ship. He had stayed back to gather some supplies, but mainly he just wanted to allow the bodies to pile up. He had created a few different serums and he was wanting to test them out to see if they was going to be useful or not, what better way to do that other than with already dead victims. He didn't mind killing people for his work he was just trying to save time, and since he was going to be going to a war zone there would be more than enough dead bodies laying around for him to test on minimizing his efforts and maximizing his research.

The hover craft came to a stop about a mile from the medical facility. "Excellent." Maverick mumbled as the ships door opened. The wind danced across his bare face. The wind was calm and elegant, almost like an angels kiss on his face. A smile crept on his face as he would hear the death happening in the streets, no...feel it through the force. Pulling his mask up on his face he stepped out of the hover craft. Touching to the ground he examined the area, watching, feeling for any jedi, or anyone really. He was on the outskirts of the battle. There was no wonder why the craft had dropped him off here. The smell of blood lingered. Pulling his mask up on his face he began to make his way toward the medical facility.

The large Republic fleet was built and ready for combat, and the newly reinstated Admiral Stahlmann was the man to do it. With ships and crews ready for action his fleet entered formation to take the battle to the opposing Sith armada.

Talon listened to the woman's voice. Her purring qords had been the bane of his existence while a Mandalorian had been able to act and search for the woman he should have never loved. He had told them the truth at least before this came. His finger squeezed again as chunks of duracrete tore away from the University near the library.

"And I can bring you closer to your Goddess." He replied through their link, "she wants fire and destruction does she not? Show me where you are and I'll show you both."

Oh frak Her thoughts were there when she saw them, troopers in the windows and e-webs. Her mind moving as reflexes took over, the blood pounding in her ears, the energies of the force bringing her arms up as she stood her ground in the force and in the earth raising a section of rock. The pitter patter of shots eating into it as it fell away giving her just enough time to run and see that the others were fighting as she went off. Flexing her power and muscles to grab the hammer, grab her chain and kick off the door throwing the large weight on the chain at the window the troopers were in. She was needing a serious boost to moral and her sigil was augmenting herself not the other

She threw the hammer to fling herself for a moment while landing and rolled wrapping the earth around her limbs while she pushed herself forward holding the hammer and making a plate under her feet. It wasn't perfect but it gave her speed as she thought about what the hell was happening and spoke into her comlink. "All jedi in the library area, retreat. Councilor Talon is going to do something and we don't want to be here." She had seen much death before and as the speeders and lancers came she was now moving using the plate of earth as her own speeder as she smacked one firing a whip and locking her feet.

Spinning around so with a wide arc the speeder slammed into several more but she was looking for the leader, looking to avoid getting into those troopers line of fire and rolling with the hammer she smashed it into a soldiers chestbefore landing and keeping her speed. She needed to try and rally what jedi she could, get what help they could to try and hold the planet but she couldn't hear anything, couldn't sense anything. Hell the few that had shown up were scaring her mostly because she wanted to see them and speak about how they were fighting just like she did but now none were around. Saki stopped away from the Library.

"Councilor Talon what the hell are you thinking? We need to hold the library and the line." Her eyes were looking up now and clenching her hands on the hammer had Saki ready for a fight more and more. Whatever he was planning she couldn't have the jedi lose the world, one more domino falling. No a line needed to be drawn here, this far and no further as she moved more and more now setting the hammer down and moving. "I hope there are more of you out there, we need reinforcements at the library."

Hidden Location (But you're welcomed to find me)

Too late.

Spencer had been too late to the party. Lingering near the hospital she felt the lives being taken and she held her breath respectfully. This attack was something they should have expected, the One Sith had been relentless on the fronts yet the Republic believed themselves to be alright. Alderaan was just a stepping stone to a larger conquest. Knowing this Spencer needed to do some intel of her own despite her membership to the Republic, she was loyal enough. Moving along the shadows the buildings, Spencer made her way towards one of the buildings. She needed to set up a position possibly to meditate to help the rest of the Republic.

Accending one of the taller apartment buildings, Spencer found herself on the rooftop. Standing there a few pellets fell from her hands as they sprouted thick vines which laced along the rooftop and finally upward along the building's entrance. Locking it down, Spencer took in a deep breath. Knowing the One Sith, she would be here as well. The woman was their triumph card or something along those lines, she had only met her once, but every fight Spencer searched for her. Curiosity always got the best of her, this time wasn't any different. Falling into a meditation, she spread her influence through the force touching the minds of the willing Republic Forces.

One mind in particular she focused on, a Jedi she recognized quickly. Doing her best she attempted to shield his mind, her voice soft and in the back of his mind questioned his actions. What are you doing? [member="Talon Vosra"]

Darth Banshee after seeing the medical facility be over run, she turned her gaze towards the library. She began to move over toward it, as she did she sent a message to captain markus, The republic medical facility has been destroyed, set up a field hospital and treated all soldiers who need it. As long as they surrender, understood captain. He replied simply Understood my`lord.

Then she began re-stealth herself, bending light around her so to go unnoticed by the enemy around her. She wanted to try and protect the library if possible. So many secrets, and so much knowledge darth shara would be rolling in his tomb if it was destroyed. Surly wake just to punish those that did not defend it. In his memory she would try and make sure it survived this battle intact.

The walk was long, but she made good progress. She did not bother with the street to street fighting, she bypassed it in hopes to get their sooner. The journey to get to outside of library did not take her to long, as she did not get bogged down in small fights. She was know walking up the steps, to enter the library.

Mean while Captain Markus issued an edict over the know hacked republic military comms, Any republic troops who need medical assistants, and are willing to surrender. Will receive it at these coordinates, must not be carrying any weapons, and must be willing to be searched.

His mind raced and his vision blurred as he fought to control his emotions. He knew he shouldn't let his mind be clouded but it was nearly impossible now. The mark had gotten darker and his brushes with rhe Oracles mind had grown stronger and more frequent.

"I...I don't know anymore." He said as the brief moment of doubt forced him to pull up sharply into a spiral before arcing back and away for another pass. "I want the Sith to pay."

He lowered his flight helmets visor and began turning toward where he could feel Isolda. What was he doing?

The Miraluka smashed the man against the keyboard one more time, then he dropped to the floor, molten slag burrowed in his face.

The other men lay on the floor, dead or dying. Myr simply smiled, looking around. The officer had deactivated the palace defenses, the turrets, the ray shields, the locked doors. All of it was now open for the One Sith to peruse and open as they pleased. The Palace belonged to them now, all but in name. Yet it wasn't enough, there was something wrong, something more to be done. The Miraluka looked at the readouts of the palace, cocking his head as he was barely able to make them out through the force.

“No...” He paused as he looked at the bodies. “No...this is not right. This place should not stand."

Myr let out a hissing laugh, bending down and grasping several small silver orbs from the bulkiest of the guards.

He juggled them for a moment, throwing the silvery Thermal Detonators in the air before he caught them. His grin split his face, and he pressed one of the buttons on the small device. On the tiny display a readout began to blink.

20:00

Myr grinned, and then placed the silver orb on the console of the Command center.

She watched the fighter make another pass, she then sat down and meditated. She was clearing her mind of the battle, she trying to concentrate on that ship, to even have a chance it take all her effort. She trying to feel for maneuvering thrusts which steered the ship.

She was hoping to brake them, as it made a pass so it crash else where in the city. Not on that precious building, if she did she dedicate to a fallen comrade darth shara, and his love of books. She remember making them cookies, they where good times. She was feeling about the ship looking for weak point in the injector, and hoped she get before it made another pass at it.

She felt some thing, that could be it she began to look for weakness in the metal. She then fueled herself, on the feelings of loss. The ones she felt when she heard the news, that he had been felled in battle..............
