Destruction on Fondor [Protectorate vs. One Sith]

As Darth moved through the metal corridors of the compound a faint clicking noise could come to his ears, it was rhythmic, clicking echoing every few seconds or so.
It would not take too long before he came to the source of the noise.

At the end of a corridor stood tall armored being, clad in the metal plates from foot to toe, it was a ceremonial battle armor of sorts, bearing insignia and rankings of the Pyre, the tall being was hunched slightly as he was leaning on a cane in his left hand, his face covered by a metal helmet, the armor had Mandalorian motives although it was not made by a Mandalorian. Seemingly it was a veteran of sorts, perhaps he was conducting an inspection here when the attack happened?
He emitted a raspy cough, filtered by the helmet electronically, there were weapons swung about his belt?

He stopped as he saw Naefas, speaking up in his rasp
"Are you lo-"
In middle of his sentence with his free hand he quickly unslung the modified stubby bolt gun on his side, although the weapon was large he aimed it and fired with reflexes of trained gunslinger, it seemed as light in his hands as a pistol would be.
He was able to fire a burst of three bolts down the corridor. They were aimed at Naefas chest, although due to the modifications of the bolt gun they spread a bit, it was very hard to be deadly accurate with such a weapon but since this was done in a corridor it was often enough.

Darth Naefas watched the apparent droid in front of him. When it's hand dropped, his senses slowed and his hand snapped up. The bubble of protection formed out of his hand, the blue sphere starting to form in front of it. And it stopped the spread from the stubby bolts. He was going to end this droid, immediately. "Where is your maker now?" He said, and the blue semi sphere that had formed in front of it was sent barrelling towards the droid.

Behind that very same freight train of blue force energy, Darth Naefas was zig zagging across the hallway until he dropped to his knees and let himself slide across the ground, past the droid, and swinging his ignited lightsaber towards it's legs.

The bolts exploded as Naefas stopped them, sensitive to changes in pressure and velocity, they sent a burst of pressure and shrapnel that could have knocked many back, Naefas surely could cope with that due to being a Knight.
As he sent forth the bubble HK slung his bolter back to his side, senses slowing down for him as well as his calculations and protocols kicked in, he did not answer to Naefas, speaking was to him just waste of time and energy in those situations.
His hand gripped his white lightsaber and activated it with a hiss, the blade erupted as HK swung it at the blue force energy. As Naefas closed in on the droid he could feel aura of light side emanating from the blade, it cut through his blue energy, deflecting it back as if it would just hit a lightsaber. It was one of the tricks droid had on himself, an old relic and protection from some of force attacks.
HK followed Naefas calmly, his photoreceptors and vision enhanced by the helm he was wearing.
As Naefas began to slide, large metal claws shot out from droid's legs and talons from his fingers, he flicked the leg Naefas was closest to, sending the claws to clash hit the blade of his lightsaber with the bottom side of them.

In mean time, he threw the cane in Naefas' direction with enough force to impale into the metal floor if he would miss.

While he slid past the droid, his foot came up to halt his sliding motions, though the block from the droid had nearly unbalanced him, and once he had slowed down enough, his foot that had slowed him pushed off of the floor, and with the aide of the Force he flipped backwards over the cane, and landing on the balls of his feet, turned around to look at the droid.

It was time to hurry this battle up, he had prototype ships to destroy and steal. He heard the sound of the cane impaling the floor behind him, though he didn't even blink to the sound of it, and his free hand was released towards the droid, releasing a force push from his hand towards the droid. And he started to walk behind that force push, slowly and cautiously. It wouldn't do for him to just...Die against a machine.

HK swiftly re-calibrated to keep facing Naefas as he moved behind him, 360 vision of the helmet, rotatable head and built-in gyros proved useful when enemy began to jump around you.
HK recognized the somatic gesture of hand raising for a force-push it was used against the droid many times. Swiftly, his claws impaled the ground, digging him in, when the push came the droid bent backwards like a tree swaying in the wind, his lightsaber at the ready to face the Sith in combat once more, white blade held in his hand both as a sword and a shield.
The droid rose his free hand to Naefas in return, however, instead of a push came out two muzzles just above his wrist, they only flickered in split second before a barrage of blaster bolts came in rather close distance at Naefas from the double wrist blaster repeater droid had installed on himself. Naefas may have been able to push back physical projectiles and beings, but energy could not be pushed with the force.

The rate of fire was high enough to overcome most of the force users, especially in close proximity, of course, Knights had higher chances than apprentices would, but they were no Masters. The almost continuous stream of red blaster bolts that shot forth towards Naefas was mostly aimed at the hand dealing out force push, the droid was obviously trying to break through it or disable it all together.

By the time the droid had grounded itself, Naefas had decided it would be best for him to back up again. And so he orlled backwards when the droid began to fire the repeating blaster, obviously tracking his body. And because of that, when he raised his hand again, instead of a force push like he figured the droid would have thought since it had adjusted itself quite well, another blue sphere formed in front of the droid, only a few inches away from the repeating blaster.

And because of that, any of the shots that had continued to come form the droid would have been reflected back to it, or deflected sporadically on the droid's side of the shield. And because of it being grounded he doubted it would be able to dodge the ones that were heading for it, if any.

Seeing the Sith roll away HK ceased firing at him, as the range between them increased the chances of Naefas reflecting back his shots increased, at that point it would have been a waste of time to just fire at him.
Instead, by the time Naefas raised his hand once more a scrape was heard as the droid armed himself with one of the swords that hung on his back, his lightsaber still buzzing at his side, if Naefas would attempt to still conjure that blue sphere in front of HK it would be dispelled with a clean cut of the light-sided lightsaber as the previous attack was.

It was HK's move on the offense, dust suddenly flew behind him and the metal floor slightly dented as he propelled himself in a blink of an eye through a burst from the repulsorlifts he had built into his feet.
He bounced off of the wall of the corridor, moving quickly against Naefas, the metal claws of the droid's foot aimed right at him, his other foot close to the ground in case he needed to stop or ground himself again, his sword was near the wall, his lightsaber at the other side.

Miles unloaded with a squad of Protectorate troopers onto the station. Commander Corek, this is Sergeant Miles Varden. Where do you want my team? We hear some poor Sith have accidentally stumbled into a fish barrel.

Move to a defensive perimeter of the loading bay. You two set up that E-Web in a 45 degree cross!... You three, set that Repeater over there, on another 45 degree cross. The rest of you with me, on a line, set up boxes and crates. We cannot let them find a way off this station. Markus lock down all escape pods from the terminal over there. Jorge, cover him. I want this locked down yesterday. Move Out!

To all Protectorate Forces onboard this station. This is Sgt Varden. My team and I have locked down the loading bay. We will hold this down until other orders arrive.

Nyos was onboard the dropship his Lord Protector occupied. Sitting a few spaces away, Nyos was checking his weapons and armor.

Sir, What do we know so far? What counter measures do we have in place?

Throwing his hand up in front of him, the Sith Lord wrapped the Force around the sword that was in the droid's hands. He didn't do anything with it though, except to imagine it just...explode and disintegrate in it's hand following the explosion. That was the power of force combustion, and even if that didn't work.

Darth Naefas would have blurred to the other side of the hallway where he hoped the droid would be out of range, unless it leaped the distance, and he threw both of his hands out to release a wild torrent of force lightning around and at the droid. The point was to either overload the droid's circuits, or force it's lightsaber to be dropped. Though for some reason Naefas doubted that.

Naefas could feel that the sword was imbued with Force as the lightsaber was, however it was a relic of the Dark Side, a sword born of Dark Alchemy and Magic Droid recovered in dungeons beneath Gehenna, the home planet of Bando Gora. While the sword could be potentially broken with Force Combustion, Naefas would need to concentrate harder, and right now, that would have been rather hard for a Knight.

HK saw his hands raise, he began to notice sparks, and he knew that it was his chance.

With another burst, the droid flew right at Naefas, closing the distance quickly, however, this time, he activated his rotary motors in an eye blink, changing himself into a sentient buzzsaw of sword and lightsaber that propelled itself at amazing speed at Naefas.
General_Grievous_BuzzSaw_by_krakenwarrior.gif

It was one of droid's secret weapon, he ordered his body to be based on that of General Grievous and his guards, after all.

Lightning and electricity was a natural weakness to many droids, as such, it was often used against HK, he had many wards and defenses against it as he expected it to be used against him.
Lightning used against Naefas would wrap around the blade and lightsaber, absorbed or deflected to empower the droid's assault with additional damage of Naefas' own power.
Whatever passed through that defense was absorbed by his armored.

Should the attack hit, Naefas would be probably stunned or thrown back rather than killed or cut, HK wielded a training lightsaber, which functioned more like a mace, dealing stuns and blunt damage, his sword could potentially cut Naefas although his armor would stop most of it.

Darth Naefas wondered as to how a training lightsaber was still functioning after being struck down force lightning, though he was already gone. With what seemed like a small step to someone who would have been capable of seeing them, was in actual fact, many steps that carried him to the other side of the corridor that the droid had just vacated. After all, he was imbued by his physical augmentations and the power of the dark side that empowered his force speed.

While he was stepping back his hand found his Sith Sword. It was time to finish the droid, and he would do it quickly. Drawing his sword while he was moving past the droid, he gave no respite, and was already swinging the Sith Sword upwards into the droid's 'flying' killing machine, the moment it had left it's sheathe.

The saber owned its special properties to imbued Solari crystal it was using, relic of Old Republic rebuilt and repaired many times over by HK.

While Naefas was quick HK followed the blur of a man as fast as he could, thankfully the 360 degrees vision of his helmet allowed him to catch where his bare head could not, with a swing of the lightsaber the white blade connected to his Sith sword, attempting to stop it and change its path as his rotation stopped and he re-calibrated himself quickly, meeting the Sith's sword was his own sword, the droid attempted to trap the blade between his two blades as he dug the claws of one of his foot into the ground once more.

With his other foot he counterattacked, trying to break the saber-lock by delivering a good kick into Sith's tummy before he could bring back his lightsaber.

His Sith Sword was imbued by the dark side, and he wouldn't be knocked back by a droid that was programmed to kill. For he, Darth Naefas, was born and raised, to kill. And he would not be denied.

And so he let himself fall backwards, so that his back bent and he avoided the kick, using the Force to keep him balanced and not falling, his free hand grabbed one of his two lightsabers and ignited it into the leg that was over his chest at the moment, it was time to sever the droid's most useful parts.

HK moved the leg that was held above Naefas, slamming it down into the ground as his lightsaber activated, intercepting the blade and letting it cut into the side of his leg. The blade was pushed aside as it melted through the layers of metal armor slowly. Worse came afterwards, however, as the blade cut into the armor it flickered and disappeared. Between the armor plating of the droid's body there was a layer of cortosis, pure enough to deactivate and disable lightsabers upon contact, a reward given to him by Lady Protector for capture of the Dread Pirate Lord RC 212, a threat to the Protectorate long time gone.

HK pushed then with all of his force, Naefas was in an awkward position and his lightsaber would be deactivated for a while longer, long enough to counter attack.

HK's sword left the grip it had on Naefas sword, he aimed to cut down with it, attempting to main Naefas' other hand, torso, or his leg, in mean time HK used his mechanical strength to push down on Naefas' sword, trying to force him to fall over.

The blast from the round shook Aros off the floor. Flinging him about he used the force to reposition himself as one's body flew off. Scrapping against the floor with Aros' lightsaff saber the red hue burning into the metal floor, he raised the head to notice the master was already charging the man who had fired the round. Aros smiled, the androgynous dathomiri chuckled, "Musn't bother the Master at work." Rising up Aros turned to here the movement of boots on the ground. The Protectorate had sent their soldiers to block their advance or perhaps retreat.

Turning away from the master, Aros moved to seek one's own duel to the death. Strolling about the white-haired golden eyed Sith passed into what looked like loading bay. However, Aros paused, the sense of destruction lingered ahead. Running up to the corridor entrance that lead to the loading bay and at one of the edges of the door slowly turned the head to look in. E-webs, many of them lined up the area in cross-fire patterns. "Tsk. Soldier types make everything so mechanical...how unfair." Aros scoffed.

Aros needed a method to cause chaos at maximum profit. Looking upwards Aros noticed that may wires and cables ran from the ceiling of the loading bay corridors. Being a shipyards many electrical and gas pipes are exposed or run across the walls and ceilings delivering utilities to more mechanical zones. Channelling as much of the force Aros could, raising his black gloved hands he choked the linking metal cylinders that connected one section of the gas pipe to another, until- it snapped! Throwing his other hand in an open palm slap, a force wave punched into the plume of gas spewing from the broken pipe and sent it down the corridor to flood the loading bay. Centering one's self and remember the training on Mustafar, Aros had the force swell into his legs and using the gas as cover he flung himself in a force speed sprint into the death trap, keeping his lightstaff deactivated to conceal himself as much as possible. He charged the man who looked like he was ordering around the troops. Either he would be victorious or die- Aros would have it no other way.

Miles ducked out of instinct when a pipe over head burst, spewing gas down over his unit. Over the comms he poured instruction to the team.

Take cover! This is heating gas, don't fire unless you want to ignite yourselves! Pull back, out of the gas! Squad one switch to thermal! Two switch to infrared! I want targets called out!

Through the visor on his helmet, the viewport changed from standard to thermal. He drew his AXT-5 assault rifle, aimed down the sights as the emergency ventilation system kicked on. Sucking the gas to secure holding tanks elsewhere on station. He could just make out a figure moving swiftly across the bay. Cloaked in black and holding some sort of staff.

Target sighted, repeat. Target sighted in Zone 3.

The target is closing on our position.

Commander Corek, we have made contact with a Sith insurgent. Moving in to engage. Repeat Sith in Hangar Bay 5. I'm moving in to engage.

Miles jumped over a crate, firing with deadly accuracy. He prepared his scattershot underbarrel for CQC. Rounds loaded simultaneously into the underbarrel while Miles fired the main barrel. Also on his mind was his vibroknife and vibroaxe, whichever the situation called for.

Fire all!

That was Kaine Zambrano's voice -- his old business partner, presumed dead. Jorus had assimilated his third of Consolidated Bacta easily enough. No more bacta money for His Majesty.

The second barrel fired at close range, filling the hallway with microfine cortosis ore dust, all the way back to many metres behind Kaine. It hung in the air, a cloud that would short out any lightsabre within it -- and then accumulate inside the blade emitter. Even as the eight-gauge shotgun slammed against his shoulder, Jorus was already stepping forward. The beskar stock of his shotgun aimed to crash up through Kaine's ribs and drive bone splinters into his heart -- and then he reversed the strike to bring the heavy double barrels down at Kaine's forehead, collarbones, or shoulders, whichever got in the way.

Kaine frowned as his lightsaber deactivated suddenly in the wake of the cortosis cloud, and his Phrik HYDRA breastplate absorbed most of the damage the beskar stock would have inflicted. However, the wind was knocked from his lungs as he slid backwards from the impact, a snarl rumbling out past his lips from the sudden spike of pain. Despite such Pain, Kaine could see with unnatural clarity as Jorus brought the reverse strike back around to try and bash Kaine's head in, but Kaine was prepared. Kaine's body moved to the right side, the barrel of the shotgun crashing down hard on his shoulder plate, denting the metal to conform with the shape of the barrel, but it saved him from major damage that he would have taken otherwise. Empowering the force into his right hand, Kaine attempted to viciously upper cut Jorus, possible even breaking the visor of his helmet he was wearing.

@[member="Jorus Merrill"]

@[member="Darth Vornskr"]

With his left hand high on the barrel, all it took was a shrug to make Kaine's Force-enhanced uppercut slam into the meat of Jorus's left tricep rather than the underside of his helmet. The impact bowled him over and slammed his right side against the wall. He found his footing, gripped the shell gun with both hands by the grip, and swung the thing at Kaine -- a nine-kilo Mandalorian iron hydraulic ram at waist height. Corridors this size didn't offer much in the way of 'jump above it' room -- at the very least he hoped to catch a foot.

But then he let the swing take him around, and his left hand drew a pistol from the small of his back. Arm tucked in close, firing from the hip, he unleashed a Czerka HeadBanger stun shot, a shockwave that could put down a charging army for literally days.
