Moving Right of Generator Asteroid Towards Open Space (Away from Seth's Flotilla and to Velok's physical left)

Kamon smirked. These Imperials did not know the specs of these vessels. Sure they resembled, in size, the vessels of their Republic counterparts, but there was a major difference between them: speed. The point ships of Seth's flotilla, though smaller than the AFAS, were slower than it. The IFAS was even faster than the AFAS, which allowed them to outrun the approaching storm of weaponry, and what little did get to them hit off of shields.

The main problem here were the fighters. The ships kept in tight, Kamon using the provided meld for information and direction of all crews. Point defense weapons flashed and danced, and torpedoes were launched at the enemy fighters. There were a lot of them, but the Echani vessels were moving on a course that would take them out of the safety zone the fighters required.

Then came @[member="Spencer Jacobs"] once more.

Daughter, listen to me. Hear me and my plea to you. All I have ever wanted was to be a father. I expelled every shred of energy in my body to conceive you with your mother. But when I did, I was as happy as I have ever been. I could feel the both of you growing within Satara's womb and I was ecstatic. But I had to leave in search of my siblings. Kalia and Corbin were lost to me and your mother knew I was leaving. I wasn't sure I would ever see you. I was nervous that day I introduced myself to you. I'd missed so much of your lives...

The ship rocked and he grabbed the back of a chair to steady himself.

"Turn further away. More distance from the fighter line if you please. Continue to return fire."

He reached back to Spencer.

You have grown. You are a beautiful, powerful, spirited young woman and I will not command you to do anything. Do you want me to stand by and lecture you as Darron used to? Or do you want me to love you and wish the best for you? I love you, Spencer. I will not ask that you like Hanna, but she was in danger, as was your unborn sibling. I cannot be there for you all the time, Spencer. I wish that I could, but it's not possible. You have a brother I must also see to and a sibling on the way. Have I screwed up? Undoubtedly. I don't know how to be a father. I missed all of your formative years which was where the learning would be done.

We need to learn to communicate. Neither of us appears to be very good at it. Fort starters, we need to spend more time together. I do want to spend time with you, and I do love you. And no, I would never kill you. Fight to stop you if necessary, yes, but I would never kill you. I cannot kill my children. I love you all too much for that. Spencer you mean everything to me. That's why I'm concerned for you. I don't want to lose you. I hope you can understand that and give your father another chance because he's an old fool who is walking blind.

"Sir, they're trying to close us off, but they're not fast enough to do so. Orders?"

"Continue to head on this course at full sublight. They won't catch us, but I'm happy to keep them busy chasing us and expending their ammo. Have the tractor beams grab any passing asteroids and sling them towards the Generator Asteroid. They'll probably blast them, but it can't hurt."

"Yes, sir."

Speed. The greatest of weapons were made so by their ability to move. Powerful ships that were slow meant little against many smaller ships that were too fast to be caught.

@[member="Kalia Vondiranach"], @[member="MSE-007"]

"Puzzlement: this does not fit with logic, MSE-007. However, the Master - how I despise him - gives no mention to keep you from disassembly. Complete your programming."

The booming, synthesized and dischordant bass rumbled from the vocabulator of the terentatek. It and the company of stormtroopers fought their way through the mining tunnels, encountering little resistance of note.

The mining tunnels belched forth death. A ragged company of Imperial Stormtroopers floated out of the tunnels and immediately began setting up E-webs in order to lay down suppressing fire while they readied for the assault on the interior of the asteroid. Their armor was nicked, dinged and scratched. Some of them were so blaster burned and covered in grime that their pristeen white showed through only in small patches amidst otherwise battered plastoid armor. Yet this ragtag band survived the tunnels below. They could survive what lay ahead. What was more, they had desolation on their side.

A black and brown beast floated up from the mining tunnels behind the stormtroopers and settled to the ground with a thud. Sev3n's matrix processed the new environmental factors. Gravity, atmosphere, durasteel., and permacrete all were analyzed and new combat algorithms began to spin within Sev3n's processors. The terentatek clutched its giant mace and began stamping forward. An automated defense turret swung to fire on the terentatek. The giant monstrosity raised its mace on high and brought it down with ground shattering force. The turret shattered in to a one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight pieces - by Sev3n's rough estimates.

More turrets sprung up. The terentatek began playing whack-a-mole.

Elsewhere - G99 Outer Bay

The first of the Khan's dropships landed and unloaded several AT-STs, which immediately began to open fire on the laser cannon defenses guarding the interior. The walkers, though feebly balanced, packed a wallop.

Back in the Inner Bay

Sev3n finished negating the last turret in the grid. It stomped inward. The Master's orders were clear. Destroy. The terentatek began to rampage about, careening into a squad of terrified verpine soldiers and scattering them all in a single swing of its mace. Broken bug bodies flew through the air, leaving yellow smears in their wake.

3rd Company of the 211th began opening fire with their E-webs while the terentatek drew fire to itself. Bugs died in droves. Imperials, despite the many centuries, still seemed to have little regard for collateral damage. Members of their bomb squad began to ready charges so as to place them about the facility in the event of a retreat. They would not leave the fighter factory in the hands of the Republic. At least, not in one piece.

The dark frame of the Firespray-31 glinted in the light of nearby stars as he tailed the Rep's shuttles. The Sith neglected to use his targeting computer to get a bead on the ships, wanting to hit them with as much surprise as he could. Using the force, Jinn positioned the main gun at the ship he felt the presence of the Rep in. "I have you now." he growled as he squeezed the triggers. Like a metal dragon the ship began spitting round after round at the shuttles as Jinn shot ahead, trying to get ahead of the the shuttles as his blasters fired mercilessly.

Ayden watched as the enemy ship moved towards them. His eyes narrowed as the first signs of battle damage began to appear. Something was amiss. The enemy captain wouldn't continue to plunge forward against an enemy that he could not beat, unless... The bridge was suddenly overtaken by the sounds of the collision alarm, as the map of the battlefield changed to a close up of the Star Destroyer and illustrated its path. There was no mistaking it; they were aiming to ram the Starfall.

As the first escape pods launched from the ship, Ayden felt a small knot in his stomach. This was not a move he expected the enemy to make. Even as the forward section of the Star Destroyer began to buckle under the assault, the ship had already built up momentum. Even if the ship was destroyed that very instant, they'd still have to deal with a large debris field headed straight towards them. "Keep up the attack. Target the base of the their bridge tower." Ayden started barking orders as the crew scrambled to do their duty. "Helm, roll us one hundred degrees starboard and fire the engines. I want all non-essential power diverted to the ventral shield emitters."

Maneuvering thrusters flared to life as the Starfall rolled in space, presenting its underside to the approaching ship. Meanwhile, scores of viridian bolts towards the doomed Charon. Space debris, asteroids, and shields absorbed the torrential fire. With only a kilometer to go, the collision alarms still sounded. "Activate all ventral repulsor engines. Vent all non-critical space along the bottom-most decks." Ayden watched as the ships drew closer together. "All hands, brace for impact."

The shields of the Charon failed just a mere hundred meters before impact. Debris from the ruined front of half of the ship pinged against the Starfall's shields as the main hull skimmed by. However, there was still the looming form of the Charon's bridge. Slag floated away from the base of the bridge, where numerous turbolaser strikes compromised the hull. And while the repulsor engines kicked in against the Charon and pushed its more massive aft section away, this produced the unavoidable effect of thrusting the Charon's bridge straight towards the Starfall.

The entire ship shuddered from the impact. Outside the ship, the shield emitters strained against this sudden, massive force. The crew were thrown about as relays inside the ship blew from the strain, showering crew in shrapnel and sparks. The turbolasers all went silent as the ship was physically moved by the impact and the valiant effort of the shields and repulsor engines struggling to keep the bulk of the Star Destroyer away. Inside the fallen Sith ship, the damage to the ship's superstructure took hold and the base frames around the ship's bridge tower bent then snapped in half from the opposing forces of its own engines and the Starfall's shields. The entire tower section separated from the ship's hull. At last, the shaking stopped. Ayden stumbled back to his feet and looked around. "Status report."

Phylis' scopes lit up as the Sith ship opened fire on the transport. pulling a hard turn on her yoke she sped back to engage Jinn.

As she got closer she opened fire with a slightly wild volley of fire form her blaster cannons. It was, mostly, to force the Sith to break off his attack and engage her while the transport escaped. A direct hit turning the Sith into a wisp of gas would be nice too...but unlikely....

The Vault: @[member="Zaiden"] & @Atrum
Blinking for a moment as she watched the rather cowardly escape of the objective, she sent an impression to her assassins to remain and to follow Tyrin's orders from now on as she had other plans. She could feel Ashin's determination reach levels she hasn't felt since the coup which let her know a rather epic battle was occurring. She took quick but graceful steps as she made her way to the landing platform in her Rancor Mark 2 armor on. As expected now reinforcements began landing although too late in her opinion as she watched the man's ship shoot out of vision. It mattered not she was looking for bigger fish to fry. As one of their starfighters landed, she rather cruelly forced to man out of the cock -pit hopping in taking a moment to familiarize herself with the controls. She watched as the jedi worked themselves trying to protect the coward, and she considered now following just to piss them off.

However, her instincts won and instead she pulled off and shot off for the Vault. She found flying to be too dangerous and boring so Kiara found herself in meditation storing her enhanced strength thanks to her Sith amulet and the battle meditation washing over her influence. Her mind and perceptions found themselves expanded and it merely showed her that she had much more to learn, and perhaps after Ashin kills Darron that she might need to take her up on them lessons. However, she didn't have the luxury of being able to stay in the past as she hit the jamming field which rendered her ship rather useless besides getting there but at this speed she'll surely crash. So she pulled her helmet over her head and secured it before ditching it as she past a hanger. Molding the force around her body shot forward with the power of inertia under her control. As she landed inside her sight and HUD easily shown her where the action truly was. Gathering the force once more she sped away toward the battle between @[member="Zaiden"] & Atrum. Walking up toward them she nodded to Zaiden saying "I hope you don't mind but I'm here to put the kill in over kill." And with that her nimble fingers stretched out toward Atrum unleashing a devastating volley of force lightning as the darkish purple strands arcing toward the man.

"Well even though we got off the planet no doubt someone is going to follow us. The covenant is here correct?" Jesta asked, reaching for the secondary gun that controlled the heavy laser cannon on the back of the shuttle. Brutus replied. 'Yeah, shes pulling up now, shes been awaiting since the you deployed." Brutus replied. Looking through the crosshairs Jesta saw the first ship fly next to him as an escort. Jesta smiled and commed her. "Im glad to know you made it." Jesta told her.

Suddenly another ship came from the astroid and Jesta sighed. Charging up the cannon laser Jesta immediately fired at the ship. "And by the way we got a boggi on our six. Wanna help out. Sine Jesta was shooting from the back he could actually see everything the other ship did. When the enemy fired as an attempt to surprise them the shuttle did a loop to the side and flew upside down above his attacker. Then rotating around do he was on the other side of the omegas ship. Jesta commed the republic fleet. "We can use some backup." Jesta asked simpy.

Rosa almost never listened to Darron. It wasn't out of spite, or because she wanted to be in danger, but it was because sitting on the Teferi and watching the battle unfold was more torturous than being in the middle of it. the death and fear of others alone was enough to drive her into madness. But today she had her own fear. Even as Darron's message reached her ears as her fighter twisted and weaved between asteroids towards nickel one it ripped and tore at her. She drew in deep breaths, exhaling the fear with each one and drawing in acceptance.

Darron was to fight her today. And he had no choice but to come out of it alive. She would not survive without him. How would she? Fear aside she had a job to do. Senator Brunswick should never had ventured to Nickel One with a Jedi escort. Setting the fighter down on the Garden dome, Rosa leapt lightly from the cockpit and began her hunt, extending her sense as she searched for the senators signature. She had at least taken some precaution, entering the battle in the light recon armour of the republic. It was uncomfortable and meant her preferred from was not an option, not without over exerting herself and harming the child within her.
Locating the Senator in the force Rosa speed for the shuttles heading for the munitions facility. What she found down there made her stomach twist with anxiety. the yellow blood of the verpine was scattered everywhere and there was a familiar dark presence whose rage hit her like a battering ram. Taking a few steadying breaths she moved on through the body littered floor arriving in time to see the Senator hit the deck hard. Seizing a handful of durasteal crates with the force, Rosa hurled them at Mikhail.

"Senator!" she said igniting her pale purple lightsaber and standing in front of him, a shield between him and Mikhail. "I strongly suggest you retreat." she took a few steps forwards towards Mikhail "You are such an angry little boy." she berated him "Still hiding behind your phrik armour I see."

[Engaging the Reps shuttle - Nickle One]

@[member="Jesta"] @[member="Phylis Alince"]

Jinn was caught by surprise as a volley of blaster fire began pelting the shields of his ship. His growl filled the ship as he broke off his attack of the shuttles, narrowly missing a round fired from a heavy blaster on the back of the shuttle. His fathers Firespray had been modified for Deathwatch use, as his father was once a member like his son was once, so it contained a few upgrades from the standard 31. While it still only had its two heavy blaster cannons, the ship had been modified to drop proton bombs and dispense sonic mines. One day Jinn would upgrade the ship further .

The sith spun his ship in a winding circle as he continued to push ahead of the convoy. As he did he hit a small red button on the control console and brought up a command icon, reading Dispensers armed - Fire. The sith quickly hit the fire icon on the ships targeting computer and deployed 1 of his four sonic mines at the attacking jedi. He continued dodging her shots as he got ahead of the convoy and spun the cannons backwards and began firing on the cockpits of the shuttles from the front. Again he deployed a single mine, this one aimed at the Reps transport.

Instead of continuing in pursuit of Kamon, Seth Shorn chose a different route.
"Orient all our forces toward the fleeing Echani warships save two Rampants. Have those Rampants break off and fall back to join us. It appears we have guests to our rear." Shorn eyed the holographic map, displaying the quickly approaching Admiral Stahlman. "Helm, about face. Mordrid, focus all firepower on that incoming warship. If it gets into range you have my standing orders to open fire."

"Aye, Praetor."

Shorn's eyes moved toward where the speedy Echani vessels were fleeing. Speed certainly did have its advantageous, but so did big guns. If Kamon turned about and came at them again, Shorn would simply blast them from the sky. What's more, Seth's ships carried fighters.

"Deploy all our starfighters and have them join in the wings currently assaulting the Echani vessels." The two hundred starfighters from the Pellaeons joined in the massive hive which pursued the Echani, making the total starfighter estimate for the Empire somewhere around eight to nine hundred, perhaps even exceeding that with the addition of the Grand Vizier's fighters.

Meanwhile, the two Rampants and the Adjudicator stood ready to meet the approaching Admiral Stahlmann. This battle was turning into a chaos of approach vectors and enfilades, but they fought in space. And war in space is a complicated game, each move able to be countered by a myriad of others, for space is not flat, even plains.

Shorn saw something Kamon perhaps did not. In reorienting his own vessels, Lord Velok put three Pellaeons facing Stahlmann, which also meant that they were facing and perhaps even blocking Kamon's escape route. What was more, Moff Kirk waited near the Vault and could spring to encircle the Echani once again. Faced with an onslaught of capital ships and swarms of teeming fighters as numerous as locusts, Shorn wondered how long the Echani could hold out.

"All other vessels, continue with the destruction of the Echani. They run, but they will only die tired."

"This guy is funny. Mines?" Jesta laughed. He looked over at Nyra and smiled. "Well your the jedi master, do your thing gal." Jesta teased. She scoffed at him and pushed Jesta back onto the chair, walking up to the front of the shuttle at the cockpit she stood and lifted her arms. And with a heavy push she launched all the mines that were dropped and thrusted them back on the bottom of the enemy ship. Jesta snapped his fingers and Brutus fired one shot aiming for the mines now following the enemy. And with that single shot the target hit. "Hahahahahaha!!!!" He laughed insanely as the shuttle flew directly up to get out the blade radius.

The hum and crackle of the magnaguards staff as it spun throw the air, combined with the warning the force sent her gave Anaya ample time to react to the attack. A small force blast behind her sent the first one off course, as it slipped past her shoulder, the hum so loud it almost deafened her, it embedded itself in the ground forcing her to skirt round it. To avoid the second she jumped, placing one foot one the wall as the staff passed her harmlessly, she pushed off the wall again, drawing on the darkness that powered her calling for more speed she summoned the staff to her hand rising it like a javelin she jumped again a spinning she launched the staff back at Jaxton, coming round in a full three sixty, her feet carried her onwards without the hint of a stumble.

She called her sabers to her hands once more, ready to ignite them when the time was right. While she waited she opened herself to the beat of the force allowing it to flow through her, preparing her for the dance of death that was to come.

How cute, jinn thought to himself as he saw the mines flying back. It seems that they had a jedi on board. Jinn used the force to throw one of the mines out of the way of the laser and again chucked it full force at the shuttles. As the mine soared through open space, Jinn took a defensive maneuver. The ship was caught in the wave of the sonic blast but it only damaged his shields and threw him a small distance from his targets. As the mine reached the side of the reps shuttle, Jinn focused on it's detonation system and triggered it. Without a seconds warning the mine would exploded.

Siobhan did not need to be told twice and swiftly boarded her own fighter as she heard Phylis' words. The mercenary felt more comfortable on the ground than in a cockpit, particularly since she preferred it up close and personal, but she quickly powered up the vessel and lifted off into the air, assuming a guardian position around Jesta's ship as it started, ready to unleash the laser cannons should the need arise.

She accelerated when the Sith ship attacked as Jesta took off and she squeezed the trigger, unleashing a hailstorm of laser fire directed towards the Sith vessel and sinking deeper into the Force, drawing upon it to enhance the precision of her targeting.

"Oh, this is why I hate flying," Phylis grumbled. She flung her ship into a roll, pulled it out, then sped forward to evade the mine. It detonated, but with a touch of the thrusters she had managed to avoid severe damage, though the ship was a bit shaken.
As she sped up to intercept, her sensors, and the Force, picked up another of the mines heading straight for the transport they were defending. Like a certain farm boy so many centuries ago she reached out and Fired.

The effect was spoilt by the fact she missed the first shot, but the second hit the sonic mine before it could be properly detonated. Speeding in its wake between the Sith and the transport she turned hard and readied her missiles....

"Jesta the guy threw them back...." Nyra said, as they came back Nyra chucked them back as if they were playing ping ball. The mine blew and shook the enemy off slightly. Another mine came next to the ship and Nyra threw it back at the enemy ship again. Once she did it flew back nearer to the sith and blew up seconds after it did. Jesta cocked an eyebrow. "So he detonated his own mine. Ok then." Jesta stood and walked to the cock pit and pressed a button on his wrist. "Ohhhh baby!" Jesta laughed. Suddenly the SS covenant soared upon the both of them. Dwarfing all the ships in its comparison. Jesta had this bad boy since he was a kid, it was the size of a Republic Frigate and the guns and tech aboard were state of the art. "Now lets try this again." Jesta chuckled. Patching himself through to his frigate. "Hello crew. This is your captain Jesta. If you would be as so kind as to blast the Sith ship out of the sky i would be very grateful." Jesta said sadly as if he were going to cry. "YES SIR." They responded. Not a second later dozens of lasers and heavy canons locked on the Sith ship and opened fire. Heat seeking rockets were fired manually from the hanger and Jesta smiled. "Brutus. Fire." Jesta ordered. Then the shuttle began to open fire upon the Sith and the omega started to as well. He was outmanned and out gunned.

Fricking suicide mission. Go harass the enemy base, he was told. They neglected to tell him it was and impenetrable wall of fighters and other vessels. Next time he was bringing and entire fleet, not this little contingent of vessels. On top of that, two full ships were now derelict hulks. He'd felt every death and shuddered. Some of the people on those ships had been friends of his.

I may very well die or be captured shortly, Spencer. The Republic has left me high and dry. If the former happens, I love you. Tell your brother, Hanna, and your unborn sibling that I love them as well.

Those were the last words, for the moment, that he sent @[member="Spencer Jacobs"]. The vessels began to run at full speed, the Blade moving in behind Kamon's AFAS. It was soon rocked and turned into a drifting, but salvageable, wreck. The Monitor and his AFAS both had severe damage, but they were alive and moving away. NICKEL ONE - MUNITIONS FACILITY

@Darren Brunswick | @Mikhail Shorn |@[member="Rosa Mazhar"]
The Sith Lady had left her assassins in Tyrin's command- the Sith Apprentice would not disappoint. He rallied them to him, and he marched a small contingent of the warriors to the nearest rail car station. The rest, he left in reserve at the Surface Station. They would man the controls and defenses, making sure no more Republic forces touched down or escaped the landing pad. Tyrin brought only fifteen of the nameless Sith assassins with him. These were not like his friends, they were much more... Well, they certainly weren't ones for banter or, say, having a personality at all. Tyrin was still deciding whether or not that made him uncomfortable when the car jolted to a stop at the munitions facility. Here we are.

Tyrin stepped off the cart, moving forward into what appeared to be a crowd of arguing Verpine soldiers. What was all this about? They quieted down considerably once Tyrin and his fifteen arrived, but he had heard them. Something some Senator had said had made some want to desert the Sith cause and help the Senator take down some rampaging Jedi. Indeed, some of them had already departed to flank their Sith commander, and they were arguing on a course of action. Tyrin wasted no time, he left his assassins with the Verpine to dissuade

"Are you Verpine or sheep that you would be moved by the ramblings of an enemy commander?" Tyrin queried, annoyed. "Look around you. There are only mountains of dead Verpine, all killed by you. Or was it really you? I would blame the incompetent fool commanding them."

And look they did. It was a horrific sight, all those dismembered Verpine. Their yellowish blood gave area a sickening paint job. "Those were sheep. Herded to their slaughter by mere words. Will you be doing the same?"

The Verpine set on betraying Mikhail lowered their weapons, so Tyrin ordered them to quickly fortify their position behind the blast doors and await further instructions. They scurried off, not wishing for any retribution from Mikhail. How embarrassing! Turned by some Senator shouting idealist mulch. If the Sith Empire ever did recruit soldiers from here, they would need to double their standards for the Verpine. Luckily Tyrin had appeared to keep them on the right track. The Sith assassins he left back there would keep them in line until he had the chance to make a proper, scolding speech.

Once they were gone, Tyrin meandered closer to the confrontation. He held his saber, though it was not yet activated. "A Jedi and a senator. Charming. Do you want both of them? I can settle for scraps."

The Echani vessels had gone to Lord Velok's physical left, then suddenly changed course and headed up. However, just in front of them waited Kirk's vessels. Not only that, but Admiral Stahlmann's craft was closing rapidly and Seth's three vessels had moved forward to meet it, also blocking the newly formed bottleneck between the Vault and Nickel One. Sith vessels lined either side and Kamon sought to shoot straight up it. It might work, Seth would give him that. But from the initial reports he doubted it. Almost a thousand fighters hounded what was left of the Echani detachment. How much longer would they be able to hold out?
