Galactic Alliance dominion of Devaron and Aleen

Whirring could be heard throughout the submarine vessel as another rock sample was taken from the side of a small crack inside the rift. Small bits of debris floated around like dust moats and a blind crab scattered away. Various samples were all part of an experiment for types of ocean metals and materials. Similar tests had already been conducted on Dac. One was slated for Sanctuary was well.

"Looking good so far. Submarine Beta is already taking their samples back to the surface for analysis. Some interesting findings to far, potential metal elements in sample 459-B and 510-B."

Judah nodded, bringing up the map on his datapad in the cramped sub. In addition to collecting samples, they had also mapped the area just in case something was found. They were no where close to being finished, but the crude map would give an idea of where they already explored.

"So the second sector we were at, the vents off to the left? Lets try sampling every thermal vent we see down here to see if there's a connection."

"Yes sir."

Saffron blew a soft puff of air over her tea, the wisps of steam rolling in front of her as her smile grew at the corners. It was as much of a game as it was banter. Respectful, of course.

“Indeed, bringing trade back to Humbarine would be a lucrative affair -- for both Fa Holding and Arceneau Trade.” she took a tentative sip of her tea, enjoying the mint.

“What plans have you enacted so far?” PharmaTech, Haven Shipyards, Mara Tibx, Auruum Saacs Bank; really, any of the subsidiaries under Arceneau Trade could provide aid to Fa Holdings. It just depended on what the outcome was. Environmental cleanup and restoration were PharmaTech and MaraTibx. For Trade and shipping, Arceneau Trade proper.

They could easily both come out with mutually beneficial arrangements.

Why wasn’t he asking where I am at?? That thought ran through the young pre-teen’s mind, her face furrowing into a deeper scowl of annoyance. UGH! Myra set her shoulders, her tongue working at the inner side of her cheek as she went through just how to reply.

Sadly, she was rather instinctual about it.

[ Yeah, orbital -- look! ] Myra didn’t really want to talk about what her ma was doing. Or what Aeri was doing. All she knew is that they were going to set up trade stations and some PharmaTech bio domes. Something about expanding the botanical presence and ensuring ongoing sustainable energy options. Her ma and Makai’s pa seemed to work in conjunction with that quite a bit.

She quickly brought up the holocam in her datapad, with a quick press she recorded a five second clip of her giving an awkward smile, a wave, and then panning to the ocean. Of course that was when a few guys out in the distance seemed to be waving her over.

With the turn of his wing he enabled a holo-projector in the middle of the table.

At first it showed a bird's view perspective on the Galaxy, before zooming into the area at hand. Alderaan and its coalition to break away from Mandalorian influence. His people told him that the Mand'alor had not send any troops or armies to reinforce Mando'ade rule over the territories, but that had been expected - Vereen was a fairly notable name within the Mandalorian rule.

To wage war against him with the Sith and the Silvers on their borders... difficult and risky.

Few Clans would have accepted such a course of action, Lord Fa bet.

"To make this a success we have to look at it from the ground-up." The Thirriken calmly explained. "One village, one city, even one planet? Those are small, but an entire Sector? That requires a plan of an entirely different proportion."

"Connections have to be made with the different territories in the Galaxy. Restoration of the industrial zones, but without ruining what remains of their ecological potential." He continued. "Restore and support the way they live and help the people of the sector with the problems they have."

There was more, so much more.

"Arceneau Trade could draw on its connections to other corporations and nations, it could blaze trails where others are lacking in stature."

The Thirriken settled back with his tea, cradling it in his wings and enjoying the warmth.

"This is one of the possible ways the Arceneau Family of business can aid us."

Alesia looked at the information on her holopad. The Galactic Basic Standard letters on the pad told tales of one Force-sensitive child from the planet of Teyr -- his whole life had by so far had been documented in the file as a group of Jedi had been keeping an eye on the boy for years now. When he was first discovered, he had been much too young to be taken to the Order, but now he was of enough age to come and join the cause.

Alesia Rivas, an aspiring Jedi Recruiter, had been given a mission without her Master present for once (because she was on a mission of her own at the time). And that very mission was to bring the boy to the New Jedi Order.

The girl had been to a huge number of recruiting missions by then, so she could practically recite all of the standard conversation from her heart. Words upon words upon words which no longer made any sense to her when she muttered them... That was a really bad approach in her opinion. She had to do something fresh. A boy wouldn't want to join the Order after hearing such boring stuff.

She would have to get to the level of a kid, which she was relatively good at doing after having spent most of her missions playing with the kids her Master had been trying to get to the Order.

Of course, the more difficult part was getting the parents to give away their children, which was a horrible thing to do. No normal parent would want to give away their child, especially if it was the only child. But that's the way they had to roll. Manipulating people, no matter how unethical it be, was the only way to get the kids.

"Is that surely the right house?" she asked from one of the group who'd been keeping an eye on the child. She turned towards the Jedi Knight who then nodded to her. "Alright, then."

And so she would take a few more steps towards the door, take a deep breath, and then knock.

The flight down was dangerous. The Companions shuttle shuddered as it broke into atmo. All the while, Adema was making calculations, ensuring that their decent was as safe as possible.

Neither the A.I. or Noire would be ready to face the great calamity that lay at the Great Seal, however, the young Companion was instant.

[ Prepare for landing. I am detecting several hostile entities. ] Adema relayed, bringing up defensive protocols online.

[ I am unable to identify them. Scanning in progress. ]

At the fore, the Kiffar Companion bit her lip nervously, sending a small prayer to Inari the Reviver.

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Noire Vanya Tal"], [member="Cathul Thuku"], [member="Eldaah Aderyn"],

Ironborne and the other droids didn't had to particularly massacre the insurgents or really fight against them too hard with the arsenal they had, and just the fact that because of their innate strength within the mechanical bodies they could throw them around as much as they wanted, plus they had gadgets like the hypno-gaze which HK demonstrated earlier could work to disable their enemies and render them unconscious. The Sithspawn however would cause more trouble to them because acid and all that, thankfully the machines had the tough thick plates of their armor.

And they were equipped with weapons to deal with them.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzt,

There was a sound of lightsaber as Ironborne took its blue plasma blade and drove it down clean through a Festerer, using telekinetic grip from his Grav-glove to keep the beast's mouth shut as he did so that its wicked spit would not splash over him and damage his hull. As the spawn collapsed Ironborne looked over the battlefield, the insurgents seemed to retreat, the spawns begun to dig down through the floor towards some unseen depths.

"Seal these holes."

Ironborne heard the Iron Knight order as he turned about, the older droid moving towards one of the holes the spawn dug just as green noxious gas begun to creep out of it.

"I will deal with them myself."

And the droid slipped himself into the hole, chasing behind the Festerers, they would find no other troops from under his command walking into their trap, at least not yet, only the droid Lord Protector.

Ironborne turned back to scan over the scene, watching his Greycloak brothers perform the arcane sigils and signs, activating their Grav-gloves built into the biots that clad them to throw gravitational anomalies within the tunnels, gripping and pulling on the gravitational lay lines of the planet to collapse the burrow-holes behind Festerers and seal the noxious fumes inside. The fumes which could and probably were damaging to Festerers as well since they were Type 1 breathing species like the Aleen and did not seem to have any special chemical resistance that would spare them from the effects of the poisonous gasses.

Either way, in his scan Ironborne noticed a peculiar thing, a small floating drone seemed to have been zipping away from its cover to escape from the area. A miniature probe. It was not one of Abregado or GA designs as far as the Greycloak could tell so he raised his hand, extending it towards the little machine.

He contorted his hand into another sigil, throwing a gravitational anomaly at the small probe to grasp it with the lay lines and in the telekinetic grip tug on it, pulling it back and trying to yank it all the way to the Greycloak until it landed in his outstretched palms. If he was successful the mechanical fingers would wrap along the small probe quickly and electric shock would be delivered from the shock-padding of the Electro-Cestus Ironborne and other Greycloaks wore over their Grav-Glove systems built into the biot armor layer. If he did it all right then it should have been enough to disable the probe and render it dormant enough to be safely pocketed by the Greycloak for future analysis.

Whether he failed or succeeded he would hear screeches and hisses of the Festerers below ground just as there was a sound of lightsaber activating. Stepping up to one of the holes burrowed by them Ironborne could see flashes of white light emanate from the depths below.

Iron Knight had many tricks, one of them was his lightsaber, the Sliver of Light, as he called it, it was a training lightsaber with a white blade and one particular feature, at its core resided a Solari crystal imbued with a permanent presence of the Light Side, which is why the droid could wield it as a non-Force being. It had another effect, it manifested the Light side within its blade, making it more effective against Force Wounds, Vampyres, shadow constructs, and indeed some Sith spawn. It also emitted an aura of pure Light side, combined with the Festerers' weakness for manifestations of the Light it probably worked like torches worked against Nazgul's, burning or chasing them away with its mere presence.

Either way, Ironborne could not know for sure as he did not saw the details of the battle between the Spawn and the Iron Knight. The Greycloak only extended his hand out to the burrow-tunnel he saw the white flashes through, forming a sigil to close and seal it much like his brethren-copies did.

Saffron sat quietly, placing her cup of tea upon the surface of the highly polished black wood. There was a coaster there to protect the grain, along with the tiny plink]/i] of her teaspoon coming to rest along the saucer.

The blonde sweep of her brows pinched forward, a line appearing between them. Very carefully, the Companion rose to her feet, the silk of the sari whispering against her lithe form. She studied the holographic representation of the system, and with careful fingers, gently went zooming in on the planet proper.

"So I see." Saffron said with a contemplative tone. There was much to be done.

"That could be arranged." the woman acknowledged.

They had to move quickly. The four round pillars that stood up from the main body of the bunker held heavy e-webs. The local strormtrooper units in their reddish brown armour pushed out of the bunker in a small team. One of them went to close the doors behind him. Trextan had no idea how their man inside had opened the doors, but he was under instruction to allow the Alliance force to close them behind them. The troopers could likely do the same.

Trextan brought up his left arm, palm open. The trooper was flung from the control panel into two other troopers. Seeing movement in the gun turret, Trextan rushed forwards. He plucked two blaster bolts from the air and cut down two soldiers on the way.

The bunker doors swallowed him him. The bright light of his saber enough to send the next few troopers inside down side corridors to find cover. Trextan stood over the control panel inside the door.

"Come on!" He shouted.

Lord Fa nodded.

It would be a beneficial agreement for the both of them, but it would have to be approached with care and grace. That was how Fa had started with his company in the sector, when making in-roads. To ensure that the populace would not start thinking they were being taken over by foreign powers.

They had to feel included in the process and appreciated.

But the Thirriken was quite good at finding the best possible deal for all parties involved. It was why Fa Holdings was becoming so respected within the Galaxy, they never tried to kark someone over or otherwise take unreasonable advantage.

"I am sure." Lord Fa inclined his head in agreement. Their voices faded, as the discussions and negotiations started, it would be a long day with the amount of work to be done.

But contrary to the negotiations he usually had to do, this one actually provided him with a certain measure of entertainment.

"This is Wraith One, we are ready for launch," Asmus called. The SIS squadrons looked like rag tag things. No two fighters were the same. Asmus was in his own TX class X-wing.

"Ghost squadron ready for launch," came the clipped tones of the twilek in charge of the second formation. She didn't like Asmus. She'd come up through the ranks slowly and saw Asmus and most of the pilots are spoiled jocks who were afraid if hard graft. She wasn't happy that Asmus had been given command of the SIS Wing.

"Hold for launch. The shields are still up."

"Max if we don't get going now we're going to miss our window," Asmus warned.

"Amagenar wanted this by the book, no launch until we can confirm the target is available."

"That wasn't the mission plan agreed," Asmus countered. "We're ten minutes out that is too large a window."

There was silence. Odennus was young, even younger than Asmus and very green. He tended to listen to the Wing Commander who had been rogue One.

"I'm opening the prow doors, prepare for launch."

Lamandium RM objective

The crimson skimmed Devaronian took a few pot shots, giving cover fire to [member="Rebel Sunka"], @Trextan Voidsalker, and [member="Xena Amonali"]. Rhen took point, the yellow lightsaber igniting to life with a quick snap-hiss. In a butterfly motion he swung it around, deflecting the bolts harmlessly. A hand came forward and the Force surged through the Corellian Green Jedi to thrust a swift Force push.

Two soldiers were swept off their feet, entangled by the sudden start of their bodies being shoved back. It left the entrance of the bunker clear for the rest to follow.

“Go!” The Devaronian yelled out, half annoyed. Really, sometimes she wondered why they allowed kids to come to these things.

Swiftly moving on ahead, they all went storming into the bunker. At her back she caught sight of Rhen keeping their backs safe.

The sun was shining, sand crunching satisfying under his heels and the ocean seemed to roll in a pleasing breeze.

Things were absolutely perfect and there was nothing in the world that could convince Gabriel Lethe otherwise. He had met up with a couple of other guys and girls in a little, cute bar off the beach by a walk away. Surfers, they had been ordering a few drinks, before going back into the waves and the bright, big smiles of Gabey only convinced them that he was one of them. Two drinks later and the young lad was laughing and joking like he had been part of their troupe from the get-go.

When they walked outside and saw his surfboard... there was no laughter though, just awe-inspired silence and mouths open without anything to say.

Gabey just stood there, in his moment of triumph, while they admired his little piece of work.

Took a few weeks, but the little repulse generators insulated water-proof material worked like a dream. Faster, more agile, you really felt like you were flying once the boost was activated.

"Yeah, Dee-man, that's exactly it." Lethe laughed between the sips of his chilly cool drink. "Look, I ain't saying the Alliance isn't good for everyone, but Kaeshana? Come on, we didn't have any business being there, that's all I am saying."

A mumble of agreement from the other youngsters.

One of the girls, cutie redhead seemed to smile extra bright anytime he looked over to her. Hehehe, told ya, Gabey. You are money, she knows it, you know it, everyone in this gorram group knows it.

They ended up not too far from a little girl with her own surfboard. The rest were ignoring her, but Gabey was in a good mood and when he was in a good mood, everyone needed to be in a good mood.

"Hey, Mahogany, how are the waves today?" Lethe shouted over, bright voice carrying far across the dusty sands.

She wasn't sure why Force Stasis would help considering the Festerer was going down a hole, but it would be frozen at the bottom of the hole for a few moments if the broomstick riding Twi'lek decided to descend back down into the depths. No, the more immediate concern to her Festerers and her probe droid was the HK unit and his droids that had pursued them. Through the probe's transmission, she had to ponder about the sigils the thing was doing as it activated what was probably a grav glove or some sort of tractor beam technology. What was even the point? Was it to pretend he had Force abilities? Confuse his enemies? If the later, it was succeeding.

She frowned as one of the droids activated some sort of glove, again with the strange arm and hand gestures, and started drawing one of her probe droids towards it. Well that was irritating in the extreme. Blinking a few times, she sent commands to the droid that would wipe its memory systems. There wasn't too much one could gain from her probes anyways as she had built them herself so they were rather unique in that regard, but always best to make sure there was nothing retrievable.

As the HK unit that was commanding the units dropped in the tunnels, igniting his Solari crystal lightsaber, his sensors would probably pick up on that he wasn't alone if they were attuned to scan through ground. While the Festerers were weak to the Light side, something that hadn't really been discovered yet, it was to direct applications. They might be wary of a constant presence of light... but then they wouldn't be good at fighting Jedi if they ran away from something that emitted light into the Force. Instead, the screeches and squeals from the captured Festerer would draw others.

She and her master had made sure to create a pack mentality in them if more dangerous prey or enemies appeared and the Lord Protector definitely classified as that. From all around, Festerers burst from the walls and floors of the tunnel, streams of acid being spewed towards the droid. They didn't know it was phrik armor under the droid's biot, but the biot itself was likely not resistant to acid. There would be limited time left for the Festerers to be effective as the toxic environment was starting to affect them, making their breathing more difficult.

He stepped out of the van, pulling his lightsaber from inside his jacket simultaneously. He turned to started a light jog when his yellow blade sprouted to life. He turned around and looked at Ajuma, before developing a cheeky grin and twisting his body back around and leaning into a sprint. Loosening his form he took a couple of strides and then slowed down to very minimal steps before jumping off his left leg and spinning around before being brought down by gravity, his yellow blade had left a black streak through one of the stormtroopers chest-plate.

In his mind, "That took me a week to get down..." but it was still unrefined.

Sigh.

After he landed in a crouched position he sprouted back up, and began sprinting for the entrance to the bunker. His weapon swung left and right as he deflected bolts. He heard [member="Trextan Voidstalker"] shout for them to come on and stormed his way there along with the others, running inside while his breath was slightly heavy.

Makai was taking far too long to reply. A very impatient Myra gave an even deeper glower at her datapad. Okay, it shouldn't take that long for him to reply to her. Granted, the pre-teen wasn't considering the fact that things just didn't transfer as fast as she would like. Much the less, consider that her patience might just be a wee bit too thin.

A few voices caught her attention, although she didn't immediately turn to look. No she was too busy eyeballing the datapad screen as if through sheer will alone would provoke the young Dashiell to reply. Finally after a second, she gave a small huff, turning towards the stranger.

Blonde hair, sunglasses, and a ruffled hairdo. Umm, brows went scrunching together. Was he with her ma? Honestly, it was hard to keep track of what they were doing and for what. PharmaTech had gotten pretty big, and the rest of the subsidiaries were right behind them. Haven Shipyards, Aurum Saacs Bank, Mara Tibx. She wasn't quite sure how her ma could keep track of all that.

"Can I help you?" there was a distinct drawl to her voice, just off in the edge. A token rub off from being around Danger Arceneau half of her life.

Knowing how long would Force-stasis last, that is, just two or three minutes, Cathul would pull out the stunned Festerer from the hole, using telekinesis, and then maneuver with the stunned Festerer in tow above-ground; with that said, she would have to make it quick and find the nearest Festerer hole dug by another one. Once she had done so, though, the effectiveness period of the Force-stasis was almost over, and, of course, she went somewhat further away from the Great Seal, and not simply in another direction from it vs. the first one. Then she proceeds to drop the Festerer by releasing the telekinetic hold on it, hopefully falling on top of another Festerer in a tunnel dug through the rocky ground of the region surrounding the Great Seal. And, because she used a lot of both computational power and Force-energy, she decided to use what remaining Force-energy she does have into a chain-fired Electric Judgment with only two targets (meaning that she only needs to use 40% as much computational power as was the case when she tried that on all five: the computational power requirement of chain-firing Electric Judgment is additive), hoping to seriously incapacitate, if not kill outright, both Festerers.

That silly grin stayed on his expression, even when she didn't seem to answer him immediately.

Something about fiddling with that little datapad of hers. But that didn't really bother Gabey, everyone had their own stuff to deal with, so to make a big deal out of it seemed just strange for him. Nah, she was just busy, no point in taking up her attention. Already the young lad was turning away, smiling at a joke dropped by one of the other kids, when her voice reached him again.

Subtle soft drawl.

Very serious voice, a bit too serious for a girl that age. But hey. Who was he to judge the way she spoke, eh?

"The waves, Mahogany! How are they today? Good surfing?" He gestured with his hand, lazily towards her surfboard waiting lonely in the sand. Why Myra would spend her time staring at a silly screen when she could be out there, riding the winds and waves?

That was beyond him.

"Come on, Gabriel, we are gonna get in the water!" The redhead shouted at him, but he just grinned back at her. All smiles and twinkles in his eyes, looking from over his shades as she ran into the water.

"I will be right there!"

And Lethe would, but didn't he already start a conversation?

Seemed rude to just walk away like that. Might as well have a little chat. Besides, that would hopefully satisfy Magda and her GUIDE project here on Teyr, they wanted to check-out the quality of the beach, the surroundings and the sort, for a little guide to be written out.

Frown deepened at the message from Ellie. Who where these guys she was hanging around? Jealousy hit him like a Bantha running at full force. Of course she had friends, but this was his girl. Even if said girl was a little clueless that he was head over heels for her.

[Yeah, cool. Have fun with your friends.]

Comm went back into his pocket and Makai started to pull on the upper half of his wetsuit. He struggled with the arms, looking like an idiot. Mind was still mulling over Ellie and her new cohort of male friends waving her over. Maybe he was overacting, right? Or maybe not....

Zipping up the wetsuit, Makai went to jump back overboard and help with the submarines.

"Umm..." honestly, Myra wasn't that sure. She only had a small grasp of surfing to begin with. Makai had attempted to teach her, but some things still made her nervous and then she got upset when she screwed up and it all ended up in yelling and her going 'MAKAI DASHIELL!' and words would be said she'd regret.

Ugh, why can't you just shut up! Myra would chide herself, scrunching her eyes shut and yelling at herself mentally.

At least until the guy kept on asking her about the waves.

"Okay I reckon?" that much she knew from listening to Makai. All she was trying to do was try to impress him a bit. And if she could at the very least managed to stand on top of her board.. then maybe she could ask for lessons again without it turning into some awkward thing again.

Of course, she thought that too soon, for not a second later Makai wrote back.

Myra gave a blink. Then another blink. Then an angry scowl carved her face.

That's it?

What was that supposed to mean? She instinctively began to furiously type back, ignoring the blonde guy for a second as a distracted pre-teen was wont to do.

It was a series of tapping, deleting, tapping, backspace, before she finally settled with a frustrated sound of exasperation and sent.

[ Fine. ]

Damn you Makai Dashiell!
