Heralds (Silver Jedi/Ask)

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Aoi Estate: Under Temple

Matsu was moving, she could hear the reports and the two story underground home that had been built for her just off the underground ruins below the temple was shaking as he walked towards the lift. Getting her equipment before heading up and seeing it with the force, she could feel it in the air almost as the lift opened revealing the attack happening. Matsu's hand instinctively went to her saber as she was moving fast now whistling as the large form of her Jun-la came into view and she jumped onto its back going off towards the more open area and seeing the bugs first. She was working to slash one from her mounted position now with the white saber.

Only four satellites, and having to rely on no sizable force of Jedi support for four hours. . . . . . .Camellia sighed.

"Then I and my forces will endeavor to survive for four hours if not attempt to take their bridge ourselves, reports planetside leave me imagining on-force users will be disadvantaged, but I will not delay our assault. The first wave of dropships will launch in twenty five minutes to get into position on the edge of the planetary horizon in preparation for the enemy's advance. We need to keep them from performing orbital bombardment and sending more troops down there. If you can contact anyone who can get up here sooner it would be much appreciated." At the very least Camellia was quite thankful that the BAC would soon have additional feeds. It wouldn't be much, but it would increase its effectiveness all the same. Turning on her heels as the communication, the young Commodore diverted her attention to the organization of her forces in their combat gear as previously mentioned.

With the battle analysis computer handling the majority of the naval battle Camellia found herself wondering if she ought to climb into a starfighter's cockpit to lend her support in that capacity, or perhaps even don an extra suit of Rendili's battlemaster armor to join the security teams and commandos in the boarding action. Although she was also fairly concerned about staying on the station should there be an issue regarding the BAC or should the defensive station itself be boarded by the enemy to coordinate its defenses. It would likely rely on the enemy's upcoming choices in their approach. The BAC would likely alter its battle plan little by little once their opponents defined their attack patterns more. If they attempted to board she would stay, if not she might join the commandos to better offer her support until the Jedi arrived.

And after hearing the message from the three eyed woman, she hoped they came soon. They needed to prevent an orbital bombardment and enemy bombing runs. . .limit civilian casualties. It sounded very much like this threat had every intention of laying waste to the "lesser beings" infesting the world below. The enemy had at least a rudimentary ability to gain access to local communication frequencies. . . . . .might they even be able to trace those on the same open channels perhaps? "This Camellia Swift of Shri-Tal's Orbital Defense. We've nearly uncovered the Shri-Tal artifact for use, just hold out a little longer!" Short and brief, curt and desperate. Did that sound right. . . . . it was a very bad lie, Camellia wondered why she even did it.

The enemy clearly wanted Shri-Tal and practically had the force to do so. Even the defensive stations wouldn't block them for long. But if they wanted Shri-Tal, then who was to say there wasn't something on the planet they wanted. Perhaps even a number of things. By claiming to have something that sounded important, something coming from Shri-Tal, perhaps they would want that too. And they would have to come for it. Come to the board the Bavos-II station at the center of the defensive formation, and disable it, not destroy it. Board a military station where all civilians were being evacuated. Filled with Rendili security teams and elite Battlemaster Commando units ready to defend it. Hopefully it would draw more enemy warships into the main battle and allow the BAC to include them in its initial strategy to eliminate them like before with relatively similar losses. Some likely would still try and head around the battle to the planet, but Camellia still intended to launch the dropships and her own boarding parties, but if there were less of them, then more boarding parties would land on them and suffer fewer casualties in doing so and thus have a better chance to secure them.

It was a hairbrained idea and rather clumsily and hastily done. . . . but if it worked. . . . .I might just buy you those four hours yet, if we can hold out.

Descending to Shri-Tal
Objective: Investigate Priests/Priestesses

The ship rocked violently. The loud booms of fire echoed around the transport and Coci closed her eyes wishing that the pilot would soon have this ship on ground. A light sweat began to form on her forehead and her breath laboured as her chest rose and fell with the heaviness of the situation. Black smoke began to fill the room as one of the engines was hit and sent the ship into an uncontrollable spin. The klaxtons sounded ringing their alarms unnecessarily and Coci rose from her seat with eyes fixed on the pilot.

"Get this ship down!", she yelled as her fear of flying reached it zenith and Coci was about to take control. The ship began to nose dive, the pilot skilled worked to bring the ship level to give them the best chance of survival. Coci returned to her seat and strapped in.

The ship plowed into the ground and skid for what seemed like eons to her. The sound of screaming grating metal filled her ears and the metallic scent of burning wires offended her nose, but the pilot had been successful in the crash landing but now the ship is a stationary target and the crew and Jedi Shadows had to move. The ramp hit the hard ground and immediately the small group of Jedi Shadows under her command dispatched to points around the city. She watched them move across the ground, each one only briefly visible until they vanished either within their environment or within the force.

She would be the last to leave the ship, making sure everyone was away safely and when finally she was alone, Coci turned and moved to her locker, opened it and retrieved her mask. Smoke continued to pour through the ship, but she took no heed of it, but concentrated on one thing, the presence of her beloved here on Shri-Tal, she could sense him in the distance, a fixed determination running through the strength of their force bond. She took strength in this and returned this strength to him in kind coupled with her full force of love for the man called [member="Thurion Heavenshield"].

For a moment, she allowed herself to 'feel' him before cutting the bond to it smallest form. Her hand rose up and placed her mask over her face and Coci Sinopi stood there no more.

Creimire secured her blue bladed saber to her hip, placed her purple blade in the locker. Her hands reached for the White Mouse and placed her rifle over her right shoulder. She closed her black eyes and focused on the force pulling it around her until she was wrapped in a bubble that removed all sound. Her force presence shield and no one would be able to detect her, she turned and walked toward the ramp and as she did so, the light warped manipulated by her skill of concealment and she vanished before her booted feet hit the ground.

Moving with speed across the ground, the sound of whining ships engines overhead distant to her, the explosions of fire ripping at the earth sending sprays of dirt flying through the air easy to move around until she reached the edge of the city. Creimire entered the streets, her feet pounding the pavement until she reached a five story building. Summoning the force to her legs she jumped up and landed on the roof and began her way across the city.

You never get used to war. Iella looked around the streets of the city to see the civilians of Shri-Tal with fear written on their faces, it is strong and understandable. The placed once again plagued with evil and it is time for the Silver Jedi to put a stop to it.

She raised her gore covered hand and pointed to a building, "In there, there are people trapped", she yelled to a medical team to go and rescue and give medical treatment. Her eyes darting in all directions taking in the scene and what would be primary importance, her eyes fell on a small child laying in the street covered in dirt and blood. Iella ran to the small girl, moving next to her, Iella placed her hand on her neck to find a pulse, the girl is alive. She signaled for another medical team to treat the girl and move her to safety.

Iella stood and pinned back her shoulders, she pushed out through the force to sense all around her and sense the coming of another wave of bugs. "Another wave approached from the north, prepare!".

Investigate Giants

Once Ana touched down she had her mission. There were supposedly Giants running amok down here. She needed to go investigate and report back. If Ana was able to take out the Giants she would do that as well.

The task that she was given made much sense to the Mandalorian. It was better she go investigate one of the larger enemies whom were bound to be dangerous. She was actually quite the fan of going after the Giants and showing what she was made of.

War was nothing to new to her so she had no problem ducking for cover as shots were fired and than firing back in return. She was getting to be quite good at war games.

Glancing down to her data pad she tried to locate exactly where these Giants where said to be so she could head in that direction.

Breathe in... breathe out... breathe in...

She was at the Temple forests with Master E'ron, a typical day of her life, she was getting used to this, staying safely in the Temple, without thinking any bad things but the exhaustion after the trainings. There, they were meditating at the same spot where they did before, both of them were sitting on the thick grass, feeling the Force flow through their bodies and spirits, just like the river nearby, continous and relaxing. But today, was different. There was a strange energy, mixed with the Force, she could feel that, and that wasn't relaxing like the Force, more like a disturbance... and pain. They looked at each other, both were concerned with this strange energy... She remembered the same kind of energy when they were in Shri-tal. The hammers... A voice, a loud, almost deafening voice, coming from the Temple. It was an emergency... both ran to the briefing room, to see that the thing that they both feared had come... The war!

Breathe out...

She swung her saber towards the bug like creature that she fought for like 5 minutes, finally stabbing it through the head, the corpse of the bug stood at the other side of her saber. She pushed it to the ground and examined her surroundings for a second, the last thing she remembered was she was buying some time for the medical team to take care of the civilians... Civilians, the ones that stood between the good and evil, always stood at the wrong side of the battlefield. She continued to fight the creatures, to make her way towards her master. Screams... Shouts... The battlefield were filled with those, she saw a child ran towards one of the bugs... "Stop there, help is coming!" she shouted to the boy, then ran towards him, just in time. She cut its hand, preventing the child's death. "Run to the one with the lightsaber, she'll help you." She told the boy while stalling the bug, and watched the boy going to the safety. "Master E'ron, there are too many of them! We need to evacuate the civilians!" She shouted.

She saw the bugs coming from the north, not only bugs... But a big army of hungry bugs. And the meal was them...

Saki could see them and while her padawan was helping with the people she was moving now as she jumped. A shout to get the big things attention before she punched it in the face with a crack and shockwave. Then she was on the ground facing down one while it ran at her swiping with its fist balled and she met it pushing the force into her armors glove to match while the shockwave cracked the ground. Pushing them into a smaller crater. Her teeth were almost grinding with sparks coming off them while she pushed back up to toss the large behemoth back. Saki jumped up and came down as the shockrods sprang forward sending a shockwave into the ground tripping another one of them and the bugs.

CCIC - Crisis & Combat Information Center

Emma had gathered all the classmates she could and lead them to the Library. They were all very talented people from every walk of life imaginable and Prinn could immediately see the potential they all had towards diverting this crisis. The only question that remained, was how?

"Take a seat everyone and log into a terminal. Emma, you too dear."

Braskan stormed into the room and immediately began the presentation. She didn't even wait for everyone to sit down before continuing in a rush of her silver robes.

"Listen up everyone! With the Libraries Servers already filled with the Battle Data we've collected from orbit, we can now begin setting up a Holo-Simulation and broadcast it in real time. Jenny and Mansavis? I understand you two are our talented coders. Can you begin setting up the simulation as requested?"

The two students nodded their heads and smiled with glee. Finally. An oppurtunity to put all those video game hours to good use.

"Horr and Vista Lou? You two are on broadcasting duties. Link the sim into the Holonet and planetary communications hubs and begin stabilitizing. I want to be able to get as large a crowd as we are able to. The bigger our net, the better."

Immediately the other two students got to work. Hacking and slicing would be no problem for these two. This was a talented crew indeed.

"Emma. Clark. You two need to try to get into contact with the military and our other heroes out there. I need their perspective and status updates before we can begin transmitting allied troop locations as well as enemy ones via codec. Colonal Vash should have an open line already to our Temple, but you just never know if he'll be smart enough to use it. Try anything you can to get them linked with us. Phone, cell, or holo-com. Try it all. Alright?"

"Yes ma'am!"

Emma nodded with gusto and picked up the terminal cell device and started the call. Her peers all did the same. It was time to get to work and fast.

"Excellent. Everyone else, join an existing pair and do whatever you can to help them succeed. Gemma, maybe you could help Horr with the data arrays. Kyles, try getting a projector base going for the sims on outbound. Okay. Great. Let's do this everyone. This is now our Command Center. Let's do it right."

The Headmistress put her hands on her hips and nodded to herself. It was crude and it was youthful. It was powerful and it was scarce. But it would be the best darn CIC that an Echani had ever built in ten minutes or less.

"Last but not least. Master Tarrin will be here very soon to take over command and relay what he can to me. Everyone should follow his orders as he recieves them and remain calm under any circumstance. You are the brightest students I have ever seen. Make me proud everyone. And may the Force be with us. Always."

She gave a smile to all present and then departed in a rush of silver fabric. It was time to organize the combat volunteers and ensure the evacuation plans were progressing. Braskan was a woman who would protect this Temple on multiple fronts. And she would succeed. No matter what.

She headed for the Hanger Bay while Jedi Apprentice Emma Prinn suddenly found herself acting as the Temples lead phone operator and crisis ambassador. Oh my.

At first when the Ren-popo had landed on the planet Ven found it to be quite comforting, but knew all too well what was about to befall the planet. The Go Nagai had given their orders and it was their job to follow and enforce the Go Nagai’s judgment. At least that’s what Ven thought, or was it? The To-chw led the charge at first. Standing back with the rest of his brothers Ven watched the terror the To-chw brought upon the humans as they ran through the city terrorizing and feeding on them. The Go nagai that was leading them only waved his arm telling the Ren-popo to charge and they did with no hesitation their weapons in hand.

It was a tsunami of red as the giants rushed the city tearing it apart flipping over speeders and killing innocents all because of orders. The pitiful humans brought their blasters up firing upon them yet even as the bolts burnt into some of the Ren-popo they kept rushing almost ignoring the pain. Whoever fell was trampled by the rest as they overtook the law enforcement. Ven raised his hammer jumping up and landing upon a speeder trying to escape them. Ven weighed so much that the front of the speeder crumbled beneath his weight as he landed upon it. The passengers were flung from the vehicle and hit the ground where they lay completely still.

Looking down upon his victims Ven released a heavy sigh feeling a small tingle of remorse for them. Looking back up Ven saw one of his brothers engaging a women who seemed strong enough to even compete with him. Growling Ven ran forward but didn’t jump straight into combat. He ran forward and raised his hammer and swung it making it collide with a piece of rubble from a building that had been destroyed. Launching the large piece of rubble he followed it his long legs crossing the distance in no time before he jumped into the air planning on slamming his hammer down right where the women was located.

Nagate borrowed a few blaster weapons, since he didn't have anything to fight with except his knife, he needed something else. Then he jumped into the fastest ship he could find. The planet Shri-la was the destination. He punched in the coordinates and launched on autopilot since he wasn't a great flier. Once he was beyond the orbit of Voss, he punched the button he thought was the hyperdrive, the engine whined and sputtered out. He then pressed a few more random keys then...zoom. He hit hyperspeed without an engine build-up meaning the ship would tear itself apart soon, but Nagate didn't know what he'd done.

A few hours later, the ship began to shake. Warning lights and alarms began flashing and repeating. He didn't know what to do, he'd arrived in the Shri-la system, but the ship was beginning to shake itself to pieces. He dropped from hyperspace and the auto-pilot system failed. The controls switched back to manual, Nagate was in for a bumpy ride.

He tried to keep the ship steady, but as he neared high orbit, the tail section started to shred. The fleet of invading ship and the lonely few Silver and Republic ships were in view as the nose began to burn, but with no shields, it too began to disintegrate. Nagate yanked hard of the controls, but all that did was tear more of the ship off. He hit a few more random keys, this time it fired the reverse thrusters and then...ejected him from the cockpit. He was in free fall from the vessel as it fell and burned. The seat luckily had a parachute and thrusters that slowed him down. His was floating down to the planet below and all he could see was chaos. Blaster fire, explosions and debris.

Hopefully he'd land somewhere safe, because the only weapons he now had were his knife and a pistol with two power cells.

Saki ground her teeth as she jumped up smacking her fist once... twice... three times itno the massive beast until it was on the ground and she was letting her eye flick around. The force screamed at her as her body reacted, reflexes slowly down the area into the space between heartbeats while she turned seeing a piece of debris flying towards her. Another giant was coming with a hammer while she didn't flinch or turn away. Time and training had only steeled her resolve as her feet dug into the ground and became rooted. She was with the earth and crouched lower her foot came up as she struck out smashing the boot into the piece of building. The matukai skills as her armor, her strength matched it sending the building chunk into dust with a loud crack. She was getting an idea of this situation and then the one coming at her landed with a hammer. Saki rolled to the side and grabbed her staff as the beskar weapons was focused on with the force. She was pushing the force into the staff while looking at the big red man as she shook her head popping it. "You're a big one I see." Her laugh was there while she jumped up to meet him and swiped with the staff to try and smack his face.

The soundswere there and San could hear the chatter while she held her head. The communications of the older ships was... laughable really what kept it going was that the planets in the system knew the old frequencies. They overheard the talk about something on the station as she was looking. 'Do you think they found it, it has been a long time and we did have large temples....' 'The temples were made by the lesser being to their bods, if they took the items from it then they will be destroyed and we shall rain fire upon them' The sound was there and a pair of ships moved in towards the station as their forward firing arcs taking aim as they unleashed two batteries of fire towards the station.

Matsu kept moving on the jun-la it made it to the streets of the city and the jedi reared back letting her eyes flick back and forth while she moved slashing into one of the large bugs. Her hand gripping the saber tighter and tighter as she moved about stopping to get a soldier who was riding with her and holding his rifle. He took aim while she slashed and they could switch off going towards the city center.

It seemed the Force had...other...plans for the Togruta. It was too long ago that she announced she would be...exiling herself for a time. She was in search of answers, hidden dangers...something...just something she knew she was missing. While her brothers and sisters supported her decision to leave, she still felt the upmost allegiance to them. No matter what she was still a Jedi, and she owed it to the people of the galaxy to protect them when they themselves could not. It was the Jedi way.

While seemingly being unaware of the threat they posed, all she knew was that the Force had guided her to Shri-Tal, and she felt terrible for not being able to "see" this coming, but even then her own abilities were...rather lacking lately, thus prompting another reason to go.

It was as sudden as it could be, there was no warning. They were however in luck that the Silver Jedi were in proximity. She ran the streets, and her skin was warm. The confusion shrouded everything, and emotions were so rooted in fear that there was no way to keep ones self from feeling it as well. She no longer adorned layers and layers of robes, at least not on this day, she was clad in more primitive clothing. The such that revealed more than such that Sochi would ever willingly reveal. Anyone who knew her, would be able to tell that she was stepping out of her comfort zone more.

There was smoke, flames off into the distance, and she ran towards the nearest screams. Behind her however were remnant of what squad the local police had supplied her. Her main prerogative was to rescue anyone and help them evacuate the area. This was all along the way towards the Medical facility. Hurtled into the chaos she fought, wielding her cerulean blade to block and deflect projectiles.

Aika Kawakami

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
Location : Shri-Tal
Objective: Secure Medical Facility and Help Rescue Civilians.

War... It never changed, and never went away. Life being taken. Property being burned to the ground. The utter chaos was the same as it always was. To most of the Silver Jedi, such things were heartbreaking and discerning. But, to this one, it was more so and enforcement of what she had felt. As things raged on, Aika could feel the loss of life, like a small flame dying out for each one that ended. Their screams and dying thoughts echoed through her mind. Still, she heard it as music, as a song of a dying breed.

Shri-Tal.... Someday, you will fall and burn, as all things do. However, today is not that day...

She could feel the presence of others, the familiar essence of her known others, as she moved through the streets. The smell of death and fear filled her nostrils as she dashed through the city, closing in on the closest presence she could possibly find. It was a very familiar signal, the feeling that drew her in... It became increasingly obvious just who she was approaching.

After a bit of continued forward movement, Aika finally gained visual. The Togruta and her blade, fending off the continued onslaught as she pushed forward. "Sochi! Move!" She called out in a forceful tone, sliding to a halt as she exhaled, her arms extended out before her, palms pointed forward at both the enemy, and and her sister's rear. It would only be a few seconds before she released a sudden powerful wave of energy in a wide arc. Her goal quite obvious: remove anything before her path and clear a way forward.

Thurion were given a moment of respite, in which he placed his hand on his chest over his heart and bowed his head as if in prayer. "I love you", he told [member="Coci Sinopi"] through their bond, now stronger than mandalorian iron. The moment soon passed, as the harshness of war summoned his attention once more.

The Antarian Rangers had begun to take back the streets one after another, making their way further into the city under the leadership of Master Heavenshield. Besides the Rangers accompanying him there were many of his fellow Guardians, whose tasks involves defending civilians and safeguarding any world found within Silver space. Each Jedi were given command of their own squad, much like in the olden days of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars many centuries before them. History did have a knack for repeating itself, he'd learned by now. The universe doesn't change the rules, ever.

Managing to take the enemy somewhat by surprise, initially, they were able to fell a number of the giant creatures along with dozens of the horrid bugoids acting as regular grunts. They probably weren't expecting to meet such resistance by such large numbers so soon, or perhaps they were just busy slaughtering those who cannot defend themselves. They soon grew wise to the Rangers' presence and shifted focus towards them, shifting the odds more to their favour as they seemingly outnumbered the Rangers tenfold, at least. Nevertheless, Thurion and his army of Rangers pushed deeper into the city, cleansing every street along the way. He placed great focus on making sure every building was cleared of hostiles and civilians alike, telling any survivors to make for the evacuation zone at the edge of the city where they had landed their troops. The shuttles now remained on stand-by to transport any civilians off-planet.

Then, at last, he happened upon a familiar face. "Nima, get down!" he told her as he flinged his lightsaber at her assailant, easily cutting it down before returning to him. "Captain, direct fire to the North! Secure the Grandmaster!" Iella's aura was easy to spot, burning brightly like few others. Rushing over to the twi'lek padawan, he offered her a hand to help her get back up. "You alright, kid?"

While in the air Ven had a front row seat to watch as the jedi simply punched the rubble destroying it sending dust and small pieces of concrete everywhere. HE was impressed, landing where she had been standing he wasn't to surprised seeing she had dodged it, but he cast a sideways glance at the fallen Ren-popo that she had been fighting mere moments ago. Ven saw how his brother lay their defeated but still breathing. Ven had arrived just in time. Holding up his hand he'd try to catch the staff but wouldn't try to keep it still instead he'd help it along it's path past him and pulling to draw the jedi closer to himself. Roaring at the women he'd cling onto the staff and swing the hammer at her. Ven wasn't angry at her for defeating one of his kind. He understood that this was battle and that things like this would happen but he was angry that they were forced to follow these orders which was wasting lives.

The presence of the Silver Jedi is palpable. The strength of Masters, Knights and Padawans rippled through the waves of the force around her. The shining light of their collective auras filled Iella with the gift of light and she took much stock from this and knew the Silvers would do their duty and secure the peoples of Shri-Tal. There would be sacrifices of course, war never allows those involved to go untouched, but this is what they are here for, this is what a Jedi trains for both physically and mentally and to face the test of resolve.

Iella's head turned to see her fellows unwavering in their sense of command and she is pleased Nima has shown her own personal command. She gave a quick smile of gratitude to Master Heavenshield for his unrelenting care and attention not only to the situation but to others around him, something that even Iella lacks at times and she is reminded that even masters can learn much.

However, cotton balls make Iella itch, and her face smiled further as she focused on the incoming bugs. The Rangers had gathered around her, as commanded by Master Heavenshield but they would need to run fast to keep their mandate.

Iella moved forward, determined steps one after the other moved to the north. Although she could sense their trajectory, the sound came first, the droning noise of the large insects then she sighted them. The essence of the White Dragon began to awaken, the pit of her stomach churned with the growing energy in the core as it always did, a constant that never failed her. This energy once uncontrolled now there at her calling and she allowed it to rise within her filling her every fibre of her body. The force pumped through her, strength and determination set through her eyes and she began to run.

Her mouth opened the white mist swirled and began to issue around her, a shimmering light danced across her skin unseen because of the armour but once more her white saber throbbed with the desire to feed on the darkness. The thrill of the hunt filled her veins. The horde of bugs approached, the growl issued from her coming from deep within her and her mouth formed a snarl. The White Dragon is now on the ground and using Vaapad, began to cut through the first wave of To-Chw.

Location: Open Market, on the ground

It was a sense of otherness still that haunted those moments when she awoke, as if she had already taken these actions said the words, walked the path. She moved out quickly finding civilians that already had the look of panic of indecision.

She smiled, "Don't worry we will keep you safe" She had said it a few times, the first few her voice cracked showing a hint of disbelief in what they could do, but as she said it she believed it. The conviction in her voice assured those around her nodding Serena could feel their fears at least for the moment fall away. But for how long she could feel it the movement of the force.

Where was her Master at, she could sense her but each step made Serena feel as if she were further not closer.
