Nico looked at the jedi councilor as they had moved, making haste to get in the large ship and now she was crawling through the ducts while she smirked. Getting into the ship had been easier since the large ones was not firing. Meant they had a great distraction and kicking the vent grate out of the way Nico dropped down as the duel snap hisses came and the rainbow blades slashed into the approaching soldiers. Her face a careful mask of apathy until she took off again and jumped spinning around to slash as the shields popped into existance and smacked into one of the soldiers. His mask going concave and his head against a wall with a plasteel on metal smack.

Nico kept running and kept going as she saw the bridge controls and spoke into the comlink. "Councilor Grayson I can see the bridge. Unlocking the turbolift now." The jedi slid into position and knocked the man at the turbolift controls as she stared on the computers to unlock them. The one shield coming up to protect herself as a few shots plopped off it and then they were unlocked and working again as she ducked down. The sight of more soldiers behind cover letting Nico slip off to the side and roll into a small alcove. "They're unlocked whenever your able and ready councilor would be helpful.

Objective: To take the Sith. :p

Iella prepared for the strike as his silver bladed saber began to move, her fingers grip tighter around her hilt rolling to firm the hold. The force pushed through her body into her legs and arms, she could feel the pulse of energy surge in her very veins. The Sith raised his saber with speed, but not as she had expected. The saber flew up and over her head toward the ceiling, the blade cutting through the thin metallic covering and severing wires and piping the covers concealed. Immediately sparkes and fumes from a toxic vent filled the space below her, a power spray of gas covered her, a white cloud now rendering her blind.

The gas began to fill her lungs and Iella now unable to breath, she quickly moved forward to escape the toxic fumes coughing and trying to regain air to her lungs. The Life Jewels in her body would prevent her from death, however, they do not prevent her from the effects. As soon as she was clear of the cloud of gas, she gripped her saber in both hands and looked for the Sith.

Gherron was utterly confused. Each time he attacked, he was either met with another attack or condusjmed by the smoke once again. If not or the intervention of the newly-arrived knight, he might have very well been a goner. As she forced the smoke away once more, she revealed that she apparently knew who he was. Coughing a bit, he replied. "How do you know my name? I don't even get around that often!" He stayed close to her, hoping she would provide some decent protection from the Sith demon. It came back once more, enveloping both of them in smoke, but he took the knight's advice and concentrated as hard as he could. Eventually, he felt like there was no smoke at all, and he could see and react clearly as ever. Smirking, he knew he had the smoke demon beat at last. In fact, he was so indulged in himself then tha he almost didn't notice the Jedi master parachuting into the temple. The odds were shifting in the favor of the Jedi with every minute! Gherron silently cheered as he watched the arrival.

The effect of Talon's attack was more than he could have asked for and summoning strength and speed from the force once more he streaked toward the cloud calling his Sabers as he went.

She was right not to let him go but she would have been glad to know he wasn't returning to the empire. He raced down the corridor and around the corners toward the opposite Hanger and his ship.

As he got close he stopped to catch his breath and leaned on a bulkhead. He could not believe he was doing this. Maybe it would have been best to die. He felt his knee strongly and had to stifle a scream as he used the pain to fuel the force for s while longer.

Both Josh's first two strikes were blocked, and the third blocked with the armored shoulder. That armor was going to be a piss off... But he couldn't complain, he was well armored himself.

Josh backed up as he slashed, using the longer range of his new lightsaber in his right hand to slash right back from a small distance. The blades clashed, but neither man (Err, man or hutt) were able to gain the advantage.

Josh needed a new strategy. If he couldn't get his head, and his shoulders were armored, what else could he do?

That's it. He took a breath, reaching into the Force, his teachings in Ataru coming into effect as he flew through the air over the hutt's head, slashing over and over and over as he flipped through the air, his blades contact the Hutt's over and over as he went for his head. Eventually, Josh would land behind him, going for a slash toward the Hutt's back. Whether his strikes hit or not, or if they were all blocked, Josh immediately rolled frontwards as soon as he slashed the back shot, hit or block, gaining distance from his opponent once again. He hopped to his feet and stared the opponent down, taking small breaths.
@[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] - OOC/ Tag me, manwench!

IC/ If the prettyboy had time to launch at least three separate attacks right over Rasho's head, Rasho most certainly had time to take advantage of Ataru's notorious intransigence.

With a Force push, point blank, straight up. His dynamic Vaapad guard staved off the first couple of contacts, but DragonsFlame wasn't about to get the chance to finish his combo. Separated from the ground, focusing on bladework, physics dictated that the prettyboy didn't have much in the way of options.

The overhead flip, especially when prolonged, was really, really vulnerable to a telekinetic blast. And so he unleashed one, straight up, with pretty reasonable confidence of preempting that whole 'attack the back' thing.

Followed, assuming the prettyboy went flying more than he'd already been flying, by a blast of lightning straight up that might just fry blondie in midair. A Hutt could dream.

Engine Room

After hearing Syn's orders, Rasu got to work immediately, leaving the Jedi Master to hold off majority of the Imperial guards and workers in the engine room. Breaking into a run, she decided to first disable the hyperdrive, thus stopping the ship from escaping for good. Already the sound of thrashing lightsabers met the Shi'ido's ears, putting more speed into her run, although the Jedi Master was buying her time, she had to make the most of it and finish the task as quickly as possible. She stopped her run upon coming up to a large console, workers too busy to notice the armed Jedi as they remained focused on the multiple flashing lights and switches, preparing to make a jump. Bringing her lightsabers up slightly, she tried to make herself appear quite menacing before saying, "I suggest you leave the ship now before you get hurt." she said, causing the pair to turn suddenly, surprised by the Jedi's presence. One of the workers broke off into a run, whereas the other man pulled out a pistol and began to open fire in the Shi'ido, forcing the girl to bring her lightsaber up to defend herself. Picking the man up in the Force, she threw him in the direction of the other man, hopefully they would have some brains and leave together, Rasu wasn't sure but at least they were out of her hair.

Returning her focus now to the console, Rasu tried to determine which button and switch controlled what on the dreadnoughts massive hyperdrive. She had never been the best at these sorts of things, preferring to stick to her lightsaber training and just piloting. However and idea soon struck her head. Bringing her lightsabers up above her head, she plunged them into the console, the smell of burning metal rose into her nose. She brought the blades along to the left leaving to deep, burnt lines in the console. Immediately her action took effect, the sound of the whirring engines lessened slightly as the hyperdrive engine was shut down. Now all that was left was the primary engines, a more larger task but she had to continue, the Jedi Master could still hold off the Imperials but for how long on his own?

Arvis Syphex continued to grapple for a few more moments, the balance of power seemed to be equal. The blade that was heating up in his armour wasn't helping him at all. And for that, he let the pain that it gave him to take him and just empower him more into the dark side.

The left handed lightsaber grazed across his armour, but it was nothing that was too major. He was fine, he had also moved his leg to to block off the majority of the strike to his midsection as well. And with that, he just kicked his hand away, but the Jedi Knight was moving his head towards him! He made a fatal mistake, and Naefas's helmet simply cracked across the Jedi Knight's head, the gravity of the planet pulling his head down, the Force augmenting his strength, the Force letting him move faster, the weight and sheer Force that was moving with Naefas's momentum must have cracked the Jedi Knight's skull back into the ground.

But, Arvis wasn't done yet. He let the elbow stop his lightsaber slash to his midsection, but he had glanced at the lightsaber the Jedi Knight had dropped, and looking back for a moment, he saw the Jedi Master strike down Darth Avara. And with that, he sent a force guide over the lightsaber and sent it hurtling towards the Jedi Master @[member="Carn Dista"] to try and impale him.

He looked back to Vulpesen all within the space of a minute, and noting the missed saberthrow from Avara, he repeated his previous move and wrapped the Force around his lightsaber, and sent it back towards @[member="Saki"].

Now he was done with the other Jedi, all he had to do now was finish off this Knight. Since the Knight had blocked his lightsaber, with a minor flick of his wrist he brought his lightsaber around the elbow of the Knight, and swung at weaponless shoulder joint, to try and shear it off.

A chuckle came from A'donari's lips while continuing to keep the lightning at bay before the vibrating electro current returned to it's wielders palm. "Wise words. Glad we had this chat, but I had reservations at the food court. So......." His hand lifted to his shoulder to point behind him with his thumb.

Answer from the Sith was entering into a dual of blades. No sense of humor. It seemed to be a running defect in the 'Sith from Korriban' model of Dark Force users these days. The Sith's blade was wield with quick control. Soresu defense deflected the attacks one after another. His own blade pointed down at an angle in front of his body softly catching the short quick attacks and causing the Sith's weapon to glance off course while he continued to move forward. A'donari moved backwards during his first two parries before standing his ground on the third; keeping his strength behind the block. If the blades struck one another A'donari's would be filled with enough strength to send the Sith's violently backwards. Simultaneously A'donari instinctively thought to take advantage of the opening the block would open. His knee was already being brought viciously through the air that had stood in-between the Sith's stomach and his leg.

Saki remained annoyed more so as the sigil continued to burn brightly and few things short of a master could get in her mind. The smoke demon was not a masters creature it was barely a strong knights who had been practicing. Her bracer came up at the slash and let the beam strike turadium metal to glance off. Her smirk returning while the blade thrown at her from the other sith was met with the armorweave of her vest. Not able to pierce but able to impact her while a sneer came and she turned her head towards the other sith. The blade going after Carn she moved and since it was going for the impale let the force augment her speed.

Snatching it in the air with a jerk of her arm until is spun around and she charged. No need yet for the blade on her side they had provided their own weapon for her to use while charging forward while the mood took her and attacked. First with the first technique she had been taught the quick flank, getting a blinding motion of speed as she moved around the enemy and then stabbing. No fancy slashes just the speed, surprise and power behind the form making one stab become twenty is a fraction of a second thanks to the force. Where they were using techniques above their head she was using the basics with one of the strongest lightside artifacts the jedi had same as the rest.

I didn't realize there would be this much talking, Aretine thought to himself.

"For paragons of modesty, you Jedi seem to lavish paradoxically in not only boasts, but bad jokes." Apparently war was merely one big game to these hypocritical psychopaths. Perhaps this is merely one of the less experienced ones.

He had been careful not to over-commit himself on his thrusts. His discipline ensured that he would not make too ambitious a lunge unless a real opportunity presented itself. Aretine's cursory jabs were glanced aside by the Jedi, as could be expected by facing a foe that was trained well in swordsmanship. His initial moves were feeling out his enemy's skill, absorbing his style. And suddenly, an counter-attack came.

The Count's blade was glanced to the side, but not far enough to prevent him from using it. He backpedaled to push himself out of the way and brought it down towards his opponent's knee, putting his lightsaber between himself and his opponent. The Nautolan would have to either quickly change course or lose a leg to his blade.

A'donari's strong counter was dealt with beautifully. The idea in his head coming and going leaving only a soft imprint on the subconscious of his thoughts. Body responded in kind while he watched the Sith's blade reverberate backwards and change direction too soon. Within the second the blade snapped back aimed at his vulnerable knee that was moving rapidly and unlikely of getting out of the way. A'donari snapped his blade just as fast as the Sith had. The wrist of his blade hand, right, spun hard; his palm spinning upwards and the blade flipped over in a green blur. At the same time that A'donari's wrist spun his am dropped down only a few inches higher than his waist and his free hand, left, gripped the hilt allowing his torso to twist, taking the strain from his wrists, while his blade continued on it's spin until ending out in front of his body and pointed down at the ground having passed closely in front of his knee. The blade ended its path just as it connected with Sith's. His adversaries blade sending sparks on his gloved hands, the red hot energy having connected only an inch from his sabers hilt. During the instant of connection A'donari had pushed slightly onto his opponents blade from anticipation. Within the second of the blades connecting A'donari's knee slammed into his wrists sending the force of his attack through his own blade now connected with weapon of the Sith in front of him.

THAT'S KILL WITH A CAPITAL K

Aboard the Acerbatis

Doc struggled against the Sith Marine that he was currently entangled with, brutally slamming him against the wall. He brought his head upwards, smashing him on the chin with his helmet. The marine slammed against the bulkhead, throwing his entire weight through it. Doc came up with his trench knife into the gap in his armor, right in his neck. He slammed it in and out, until the marine slid down the wall. Doc stood up, and nudged him with his foot.

"I may not be the greatest doctor, but I'm pretty sure you're dead, nerf herder."

Doc was a...gifted combatant, Republic Commando, Havoc squad, yadda yadda bladda bladda here comes the flocka waka, anyway. Doc tumbled around the ship, before he decided that MAYBE it was the time to patch into his comm channel. He chose to contact Rasu. She was cute. But he also heard that she could shapeshift, so maybe she wasn't a she and she was a he and the he was pretending to be a she and that he didn't want to have anything to do with in that manner with a he that was pretending to be a she. Not that there was anything wrong with a he going around and saying that they were a she, whatever floats your boat, but that wasn't exactly the way Doc wanted to be floating.

Oh yeah, the war.

"Doc to Rasu...awaiting orders. I got a little hold up stabbing people in the throat, sorry."

Commander Roberts received the Jedi Master's call for assistance and patched the channel through,

"Jedi Master this is Heavy Cruiser SR-1089. We are receiving you. Priority channel confirmed. Syncing with CIC now. Please hold."

The line went yellow on her console and then quickly blinked green. A text read-out appeared and Karen quickly began transmitting again.

"Jedi Master this is Heavy Cruiser SR-1089. CIC has confirmed. Command is rerouting Naval Commandos to your position to reinforce. ETA six minutes. SR-1089 over and out."

Rianna felt the death she let it go and then moved on. Something shimmered within the force, a pull of a gathering perhaps. She started working toward it, that pull was of the unfamiliar to her, she knew not if she headed towards it. Off to her right she could hear another sound she paused, and stretched her senses further. Jedi? Rianna moved towards the sound. She pulled her robe closer around her the feeling of death closing in around her. Her eyes fluttered for a moment. That gentle tug of the force guided her feet, the sounds grew louder.

Having become so distracted by the sound Rianna mis stepped and fell to one knee. She exhaled and quickly gathered herself back up and continued to move toward the sounds of the fight.

"Spare me the false bravado," Tefka growled, marching forward through the sand as the Sith Emperor reeled from his earlier attack. The larger mutant roared, Tefka kept marching. Glass formed under his feet, Tefka kept marching.

A kinetic surge of energy was flung at the Jedi Master, and Tefka kept marching.

He held out one hand against the blast and like a hurricane, glass shards from the ground began whipping into a frenzy around the Jedi Master's right fist, his lightsaber still holstered on his belt. A shimmering gauntlet of ragged glass shards began to form as Tefka kept marching, closing the distance between the Sith and himself. Dark, purple veins began to spread throughout the face of Tefka Efreet, right hand of the Grand Master of the Jedi Order, leader of the Jedi Covenant and brother of Teferi.

"To think that a whelp like you, who took nothing and was given everything, would educate me on the usage of power," Tefka growled, obviously disgusted.

He broke into a full-fledged sprint.

"YOU WILL ADDRESS ME,"

A leaping bound rocketed him in the air at Krag's face.

"AS YOUR EMPEROR."

He took a swing at Krag's jaw, his hand amplified by a massive burst of telekinetic Force and the jagged glass gauntlet he now wore, threatening to shatter it on Darth Vulcanus's face.

The Sith had got away, Iella had sensed his departure ... Damn. But somehow she knew she would see him again and soon. However, the force was unclear to her in what capacity that would take. She extinguished her blade and moved over to the trooper. He is badly injured and in need of medical aid. Immediately Iella contacted the medical frigate to send a team over to the Acerbatis to retrieve him and scout for more injured. She assured him help was on the way but she had to leave him. Iella made the trooper as comfortable as possible before she began to leave.

Opening a comlink to Syn, Rasu and Ronin, "I will start for the Bridge unless I am required in the engine room?", she asked. Iella walked back down the corridor to the position she had turned from, constantly searching through the force for any sign of that Sith or others.

talon raced to his ship and jumped onto the boarding ramp as his troopers began lifting off. The ramp closed as Talon collapsed in a heap finally able to let go of the force and felt his wounded knee. His men rushed forward and carried him to his quarters. They were good people whose only real fault was believing imperial propaganda, and wanting to protect their homes. They were all hand picked and talon knew he had to give them all chances to live normal lives before he could go into hiding. The Jedi was right he was dangerous, but he had far less desire to fight than he had during his apprenticeship.

"Sir," his gunnery sergeant and 2nd in command began, "Where are we going?"

"Plot a course for Bastion," Talon said between gritted teeth, "You are here by excused from imperial duty and are to return to your families, that's an Order."

the old gunny stood straight and looked at talon for a long time without speaking and then turned to the other men.

"You heard the commander, now execute his orders." the gunny turned back after the others left. "What about you Talon? Where are you going?"

"Rhen Var," Talon said slightly surprised that the planet had come to mind, "I'm going to Rhen Var and after that I'm not sure."

"Empire or no empire sir," The gunny said taking off his helmet and tossing it on the deck in the corner, "If you ever need back up just call."

"Thank you Guns," Talon said laying back on his cot, "Now get your old backside out of my quarters and get to hyperspace."

...

Vinyata felt a flash of respect for the apprentice as the two continued their raw and unpredictable duel across the red ground of Korriban, blades twirling, body’s spinning, aura’s clashing. Vinyata hadn’t yet unleashed the full power and ferocity of her saberstaff strikes, and the padawan had gained confidence from it. In an ensuing lightsaber lock, the padawan hurled a force push at Vinyata. Vinyata knew it was coming, predicted it was coming, yet for some reason was unable to respond and she was sent flying backward, a red boulder flying after her. As Vinyata collided several times with the hard ground, she did her best to absorb each contact. Not wasting time to lay recovering, Vinyata used the force to propel her into a high force jump, over the oncoming rock, then backflipped repeatedly before touching the ground.

The Sith and padawan without any time lost were at each others throats again, their raw and powerful lightsaber forms fueling their seemingly random strikes and parries. Although this padawan was eager and possessed some skill in Form One, it was a form that was not designed for combat against a single duelist. As Vinyata started to fight with more and more intensity, she could start to feel the weaknesses in Form One starting to expose themselves. Spining and twirling her body and saberstaff, Vinyata started putting together strikes and combinations that were seemingly impossible, her deadly purple blades a blinding vortex as she gradually started to take over the duel again. Despite the fact that the padawan had been taught defensive parries well, her parries were arriving more and more late to intercept Vinyata’s whirlwind of strikes as the constraints of Form One held her back. So much wasted potential Vinyata smugly thought.

Just like the effectiveness of Form Seven, the effectiveness of Form One depended on how aggressive the user was, how willing they were able to allow themselves to become unpredictable, how close to the dark side they wanted to venture. As a great Jedi Master Kit Fisto once said It is the way of Form One. Vinyata gagged the padawans aura. It was resilient, but Korriban was the bastion of the dark side, and was corrosive to all that was good. Vinyata could feel the dark side, aggressive emotions and the wear of the duel corroding the padawans connection to the light.

“Let go of yourself.” Vinyata urged, “True power lies in the dark side. You can not win.” Vinyata waited for the reaction from the besieged padawan.

@Vinyata Nicashii

"Sorry! Not interested!" Reela retorted before taking the more offesnive position now. Words were not to be wasted in a battle, that was one lesson her masters had taught her before. Now changing to the makashi form of lightsaber combat Reela began attacking the sith with a number of smaller strikes foward. Each strike would be met with a block which was what Reela needed. She was trying to show the Sith her skills with a saber staff could be met by just one lightsaber. The sith may have been impressive with her saber staff but Reela was not one for letting the number of blades intimidate her, trying not to fall for the strgategies of those like Darth Maul and General Gerevious. Each strike came with another before Reela found an opening and kicked the Sith back. She then used the force to try and slide two rocks on each side of her in order to crush the Sith like a pancake.
