Isn't that part of the problem though? "Feel free to leave but if you do your faction is weaker and stands to lose 60% of it's territory by you not being there" it's that tidbit that makes me not want to leave my friends hanging out to dry.

It is, however, in the control of the person or persons that are being stupid, and should they not learn the error of their ways via the fact that they make people uncomfortable or unhappy, how should they learn? It is the responsibility of a faction staff member, or subsequent leader person, to deal with issues arising from unruly faction members, is it not? I'm not calling anyone out or anything, just speaking factually, but it always seems that the OS comes with an air of "holier than thou" attitude that pervades their RP. Instead of looking for good story, it seems the majority are just in it to win it. Therein lies the problem, as it forces us to go in with the same mindset unless we want to see our faction cease to exist.

But considering you suggested that my only two options were to either 1) Go for the objective, or 2) Defend myself, and that my forces somehow can't do both, it makes me weary.

I mean I just got hang out and play with my opponent who spawns repairmen get blown up, or you know what a cat that gets paralyzed while chasing mice just for the sole reason to get a jab in or irritate their opponent. I mean not like you can report that. BUT THIS GUY GETS IT!! The answer has just been out of my grasp this whole time, thank you Vrag. Thank you
