Harli listened intently to Olans words. That much wealth packed away in one ship? Seemed hard to believe, then again she'd heard crazier. "Let me guess. You know where to get one of these keys? Also, wouldn't we need the owner who the key is attuned to?"

Olan grinnned gently. "I happen to have one of the keys attuned to me. The box Tosk got hadn't been setup to anyone yet. It was in transit when he st-...procured it." Nodding his head. He reached under his bloodsoaked shirt at the neckline and pulled out a silver chain, on the end was what looked like a miniature spike, made of gold and glowed a soft orange at its edges. It thrummed with power the second it hit the air and was no longer in the confines of Olans shirt. Gingerly he made his way up the steps to the center room of the ship by way of the cargo inner doors. In the center was a turret control chair. To the side was a communications console, on the other was a table with booth seats. Not to mention the food synth. Near the cockpit was several doors for crew quarters.

"Fwush." La La suddenly stepped back from the droid as it caught on flames. Those danger cords were right. They were dangerous if you tried to shove them in the fuel department. Slowly she backed away, then calmly walked out of the room as the fire blazed inside dangerously. "Where is the... Oh, Olan. I need a fire stopper thing, my R unit caught aflame. Because of someone who didn't walk in here yet."

The sudden change of words didn't slip by Harli. Her attention however was drawn to the device that Olan showed her. So that was their ticket, the key to great wealth. Her eyes narrowed as they fell on Olans wound. "You really need to have that patched up. Do you have any medical supplies nearby?" It was then that La walked into the room and stated that her droid caught fire. Harli couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at that one.

Location: Chasing the Mando

The Bloodtrail had turned out to be useful. Vassara was lucky to have been flying the Void Runner on this one. Her personal explorations frigate. With a few specialized systems she was beauty and versatile enough to do whatever she needed to do. From the ship a few hours later sh had simply sat in the meditation chamber after launch. She could feel him, closing her eyes, letting her mind be still.

Across the cosmos stretched a now lifelong invisible thread between the two. Combined with her Instinctive Astrogation he would be not very difficult to find. And the Starmap with him. Except oddly enough she could feel he was somewhere near a major system. What planet, she was not entirely sure.

She rose now, placing her black spacers coat back around her shoulders and taking the long walk to the bridge. A few moments later seated comfortably behind the captains chair she fired up the main thrusters and began to break from orbit. As the Void Runner streaked away, she closed her eyes again, leaning back slightly, fingers hovering over the navigation computer.

The force felt the path for her, following along the dim trail. In her minds eye she could see each jump. In her gut as the vectors flashed through her brain she felt them out. Some dangerous, some less dangerous. Each had its own unique risk reward level. The safest would be shorthops, avoiding major gravity wells along the way.

But safe was not always rewarding. Vassara had wild streak in her. She itched for the impossible, for places unknown and new horizons. Carefully with much focus she plotted the longer jump, automatically recording the final coordinates with her finger upon the console as her focus intensified. It was a long jump, skimming several gravity wells. The final exit vector was not clear, but it was gamble she was willing to take,

Hope this is right.

Seconds later her hovering finger tapped the final sequence. There was a lurch, a drop in her gut as the hyperdrive engaged, and with a flash she was gone....

Location: The lost ship

He gazed upon the ship and then thousands of questions ran through his mind; who had owned the ship? Why was it abandoned in a place like this? What would await him once he got inside the vessel?

Kiber pulled on his jetpack and put the Galactic Ranger into hover and made his way to the air lock. Stepping inside, he shut the inner door behind him and pushed the switch. The outer door opened and he swiftly stepped out into the blackness of space.

Engaging the thrusters, he made his way towards the Thranta-class vessel and used his sensors to see if anyone, or anything, was onboard. As he arrived at one of the air locks on the ship, he had the feeling that someone was watching his every move. He tried to shake it off, but it was no use - someone was following his trail.

Who are you? And what do you want?

Reno followed Olan onto the ship, nodding every now and then to his answers. He chuckled at La's remark.

'I don't think we've been formerly introduced, I'm Reno Jendir'

Reno said, looking at La and Harli, bowing slightly towards them. After meeting them he slowly walked over to the cockpit, lounging back into the co-pilot's seat, putting his feat up. He smiled to himself, he hadn't seen the controls to a ship in a little while, and seeing them made him feel excited.

'Oh yeah, and get your bloody wound healed up!'

He shouted to Olan.

La La quickly did another lapse around the ship until she found a fire-outer. With it, she got rid of the burning smell of oil and metal in her personal room, and just left it there. After, she ran to the new person, [member="Reno Jendir"], and almost sat in his lap trying to get to the pilot's chair. She settled down and stared at him, ignoring [member="Harli Hayes"]. "Do you know a lot about navi droids? If so, I need to buy a new R unit."

Reno was a bit taken aback by the new acquaintance, but she seemed friendly all the same.

'Droids? I mean I know a little about them but I'm no expert. I have one R-unit on my ship... I mean if you need one that badly I can sell you mine'

Peering up at her from under his hat. He gave a little grin. Helping people was his favourite thing, so even if it meant he lost a droid, it would still be worthwhile to him. This girl seemed nice anyway, quite athletic looking and generically pretty, but Reno thought it best not to share his thoughts out loud.

She gasped excitedly at the statement, leaning in closer from the edge of the seat she stole from Olan's booty. "An R series droid? What... What's it model number?" She bit her lip gently. Please, please be decent..

[member="Reno Jendir"]

'Its an R-6, in quite good condition I might add'

He smiled thinking of the fun times he had had on his ship with the droid. It was almost like family, but he was never overly attached to it. It was most likely the only thing that kept him from going insane after spending most of his time alone. He looked back up at La, wondering if it was what she was looking for.

She pursed her lips gently as she thought it over. Better than an R3 unit, which she blew up, from what she heard. She looked over to him with squint eyes, then gave a solid nod. "How much are you looking to sell it for?" Even though money wasn't at all a problem for her, she didn't want to spend a million credits on every protein bar she ordered.

[member="Reno Jendir"]

Reno sat silent for moment, thinking it through. He hadn't had anyone in his life he could really rely on, apart from the stupid droid, up until now. With his new aquaintances he felt that he no longer particularly needed his old robotic friend.

'You can have him'

He said smiling up at her. Maybe it was him trying to flirt that persuaded him, maybe it was just because he liked to help people, but nevertheless he'd made up his mind.

She smiled and shook her head, bouncing a little in her seat now. Now she felt like she HAD to pay for the silly thing. "No, seriously, how much do you want for it? I don't remember how much they're worth, but some of the droids at my old town sold for 70,000."

[member="Reno Jendir"]

'Its fine, it's fine'

he said smirking, waving his hand dismissively at her.

'I've made enough in my time to keep myself afloat for a while, losing a droid doesn't mean much to me, and it looks as if you'll need it a lot more than me'

He chuckled, nodding at the faint smoke cloud drifting into the room.

Her eyes followed the trail, then rested back onto the man. She paused in consideration, then gave a wide happy little smile, nodding her head. "Thank you so much. Could I interest you in pay back, with a hug, a kiss?" She pursed her lips with a goofy half grin on her face at the second option she gave him.

Reno smiled widely, his cheeks very slightly blushing. Without saying anything he tapped his cheek, moving the side oh his face close to her, his eyes scrunched shut. He'd never really experienced any type of romance, he'd not even been kissed, so he was eager at any sign of affection.

La La giggled at him. He took her seriously. She patted cheek gently, then leaned in and pressed both of her lips right to his cheek, landing a wet smooch right in the middle before pulling back. "Mwah. Kissu."

Reno giggled like a child, embarrassingly, a stupid, wide grin on his face. He touched where her lips had touched his cheek.

'I'll never wash it again!'

he proclaimed, staring at the girl. Suddenly, after she had kissed him, he felt a strong attraction to her. Was it him or did she now seem more beautiful?
