Hey folks, I just thought I'd give you guys a heads up that the Ravens have now drilled down into the planet with thirty massive lasers in seven different spots. And the raging torrential floodwaters are currently flooding the planet's surface around those breaches, including the mines.

Forgive me if I missed it in the massive thread, but I haven't seen anyone on the Black Suns side mention the lasers yet.

I'm not pointing fingers. I know there's alot to read and catch up with in the thread, but I did want to mention that we were doing some unopposed damage.

One of the quirks of non-mechanics based RP systems is that everyone plays to the bits they want to play to. And I know many of you are setting up your intro threads. But it would be nice to see some RPing a reaction to the current environment.

It helps if the person doing something of that magnitude tags all those in that area. During the first invasion of Empress Teta, my alt, Doctor Agnusdei, spent numerous posts placing nerve gas bombs throughout the city. I took the time and effort to find all the names of everyone involved and tagged all those in the invasion on both sides. A lot of effort, but you'll make sure everyone can see the post.

They won't unless there's a reason. I have no idea who the Raven's leadership is and, not trying to be mean here, outside the FL, no one cares if they're not of the faction. If you really want folks to know you just blew up a city or gased a neighborhood or dropped the ceiling in on an entire industrial complex, your best bet is to tag everyone and then highlight the text that applies to them.

Me, personally, unless I'm looking for an opponent, I engage only those I'm tagging and/or being tagged by. If someone doesn't tag me, I don't pay much attention to it. I'll either skim or skip the posts that don't pertain to my character unless I'm directed there by notifications or request through OOC methods like skype or PM.
