Operation Downfall: Carida [One Sith vs. Republic]

LOCATION: Plateau near Cardia Academy
Objective: Force Sweet RAcket Justice on any and all Jedi. Force them to sit on their glow sticks.
Talon Vosra, Tugoro Taidarious

The force users loved to put on a show. One blaster found his hip while a the other continued to unload to his left through the lifting dirt all around him. Racket looked down behind him taking his eyes off of the battle. Hell the dirt was giving him cover from anyone else and besides it's not like the group of soldiers to his left would be able to avoid the incoming attacks. Five soldier's screams being the testament to his thoughts. Free hand still dug around the fanny pack. gotcha. A little ball of metal was retrieved. Thumb on his free hand let the thermal detonator go live in his palm starting the count down.

A glow rod was humming in the radius above his head. RAcket took a wild guess where his target had gone to. The sound got closer. HMMMMMMMM sound got louder until it's feint glow could be seen. The explosive hit the ground and Racket dove. DOOOOM His legs kicking hard enough to send him out of the blast radius on the ground. The force user would have to be good to stop himself last second from falling out of the sky against an attack he couldn't see coming.

Ki'an couldn't stop himself from falling toward where [member="Racket"] had just been, and with the force sending off all sorts of danger alarms in his head, Ki'an knew he was falling into something disastrous. As he approached the ground, it suddenly erupted into the bright, brilliant flash of a thermal detonator. Ki'an had no time, he raised his hands and pushed forward with the force, putting a force barrier between himself and the blast. The blast hit the barrier and sent Ki'an flying in the opposite direction. He hit the ground hard and tumbled end over end.

As the dirt cleared, Ki'an dragged himself to his feet. He hurt, but he wasn't dead. Standing up, he was sure he had a broken rib, but that was likely the most sever of his injuries. The force barrier had worked. Ki'an's lightsaber was still in his grasp and he ran towards his attacker. Ki'an stretched out his free hand and called a blaster pistol from a fallen soldier into his hand and began to fire blaster bolts towards the retreating assailant. He didn't typically use a blaster and didn't like using them, but he was capable of firing them with at least a mild degree of accuracy. Using the force, Ki'an speed himself up so that he would catch up with [member="Racket"].

A face full of dirt and a few slivers of shrapnel under his skin paid his debt to death. Looking around he found that all of the dirt had been replaced to the surface where it belonged while his enemy had found a pleasant piece of the ground not too far off from where he was at. The battle around raged on. No one had time to look around or flank other people when the dog fight they were in was life or death to begin with. This Force user was spry though and found his way back to his feet quickly. Was there a use for it. Nope.

Racket stayed on his stomach for the time being with both blasters in his outstretched arms. Barrels staring down his attacker. The Jedi called a gun to his aid and began firing back. Admiral but against a bulls eye shooter who was lying still? Both blasters were now fitted gently in Racket's palms. The nerve is strong in this one. he muttered. During the first two steps that the Jedi took Racket's attacks were already unleashed.

Racket's fingers went off on his weapons hair triggers. One would argue full automatic again. Left barrel pin pointed the exposed knee cap level of his attacker while his right pin pointed at chest level. Two barrels of hot liquid flowing beams of death at the man running straight towards him. Whichever side the guy tried to go to there was a blaster and cross hair waiting. Blaster fire from his enemy was hitting the dirt in front and on the length of ground beside him but the advantage was his. Being tiny and laying down was awesome. Racket was hardly a target. The blaster in the hand of the guys outstretched bouncing arm also fell in this category in the Crazed Rodent's head. Dual wielding blades would be an easier feet than blocking blaster bolts and firing them at the same time.

The minute that sniper opened up on Ki'an, he realized the blaster was of no real use to him. His aim wasn't good enough in the chaotic battlefield to hit a target that small that was lying prone. Tossing the blaster aside, Ki'an begun to twirl and spin, slashing left and right with his lightsaber desperately to keep up with the automatic fire of his attacker. He was good and Ki'an was still a padawan. The attack had haulted Ki'an's advance, forcing him to stop and batter aside the blaster bolts and if he couldn't advance, he couldn't attack. But Ki'an wasn't without other weapons.

Closing his eyes, he allowed the force to flow through him. He had practiced this before in training with [member="Tugoro Taidarious"], allowing the force to be his eyes. As he did that he lifted anything he could as a weapon. Several rocks floated up into the air as well as a helmet. Ki'an wasn't sure if there was a head inside it or if it had simply fallen off in the battle. Opening his eyes, Ki'an released the force energy sending the rocks and the helmet flying towards the prone attacker. He wasn't sure how fast [member="Racket"] would be from that position, but he had to throw the sharpshooter off balance so that he would close the distance. If he couldn't close with him, he stood little chance of ending the fight anytime soon.

If the attack worked, Ki'an could be on the attacker in two force leaps.

The Jedi seemed to be invincible or possibly his blasters were set to stun rather than Lasers..... the munition most blasters threw during a battle. Either way, from point blank range, being able to stop every shot fired from two blasters with one lightsaber would be the most astounding thing he had ever seen on a battlefield. The shots continued to flow on his, now Standing Still, target. A few rocks began to come towards him but the Jedi had stopped moving to manipulate the Magic he relied on making him an even more open of a target. Racket was just aghast. This Jedi wasn't even paying attention to the shots being aimed, traveling through the air, and ending up where his body stood to be able to block them. Before anything he was trying to throw could have made it to Racket's location, odds are 2 or 3 seconds, 2 or 3 seconds worth of blaster fire aimed at the jedi's not moving legs and chest was fired at his position.

RAcket remained on the ground just firing away at the guy.

Ki'an, who was not standing still but was 'twirling and spinning', continued to 'desperately' batter aside the blaster bolts being fired at him. Knowing he couldn't block all, he was working hard to try and keep his body moving. His attack using rocks and a helmet, which did not require him to stand still, didn't seem to phase the attacker making it an even more desperate situation. Numerous bolts began to eat in past his defense, one caught him along the side, only cutting through the first layer of skin, but it was painful enough that his guard slipped and another caught him on the outside of his left knee. He also felt himself tiring. Keeping his center and vital organs protected left other areas vulnerable and it was only a matter of time before other bolts got in past his defenses.

Using the force to call out to [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] and [member="Talon Vosra"], he hoped they could provide support, but none-the-less, Ki'an began to move, more sluggishly now thanks to the blast to his leg, towards a jutting of rocks that he could use as cover.

The weapon in his right hand remained trained to the Jedi retreating to some cover. The battle was still raging and needing a turn to help with things big and small. Sith ships continued to move in on the plateau now more freely due to the Republic AA guns having had the shit blown out of them. More and more ground soldiers and Sith space wizards were pushing on the front line close by. The sounds of battle surrounded them all. Left hand found a flash bang which was cooked and sent at @Ki'an Karr . With the free time RAcket didn't spare a second. Catching his feet meant an easy catch of his stride which sent him scurrying into a group of republic soldiers who were manning a turret. They thought they were safe. Oh how wrong. Two thermals on the hip of the commander was activated before they saw the furry rodent leap out forward towards the battle in the plateau.
LAtEr FRacK BaGS!!! HAhAHAHAHAhA
"What the? Kill it! Fire Fire Fire!"
DOOOOOM the grenades having been attached to any of the rest of their hips detonated sending a ball of flames into the sky. No time to spare and look. Moving on the ground meant you had to be aware. Aware of what? A Republic soldier's boot came through in front of where RAcket's head was about to be. Claws gripped guy's boot bringing RAcket's body up with the follow through. Body spun slightly while it hovered in the air for a second. A holstered blaster found his palm and unloaded three shots into the mans cranium. RAcket's spin continued while he descended the three feet back to the surface and caught his stride again moving towards one of the other turrets on the battle field.

Luckily this time his body was in the mix of Sith and Republic forces who were busy fighting each other. A shot or two were sent at the backs of peoples legs who might have had an upper hand or who were out numbering his forces but other than that his eyes were set on a turret throwing noise at his forces getting off of their ships. Both blasters were palmed as his legs spring loaded and kicked him off of the surface. His light little body flew through the air seemingly weightlessly. Eight soldiers were all he had to deal with. The triggers began to roll spitting his load down on their positions. Spines and faces were targeted during the raining of hell like attack. The blaster bolts licked into the flesh dropping them one by one as they snapped upwards to take a shot. One of which lifted his open palm and ignited a light saber. An opening he was looking for. The hip of a soldier still housed a flash bang and thermal detonator. RAcket took aim for a split second with his right before loosing a blaster bolt. An explosion released from the man who jolted from fear putting his body flesh in between the shrapnel and RAcket's sailing body. The blast sent all of the surrounding forces to the ground while hot blaster fire continued to target kill shots on their limp bodies just in case. Only the man on the gun remained and the fuzz ball himself was cleared for landing. The poor guy hadn't heard his coming doom due to having been focused on aiming and def to the attack thanks to the sound coming from the turret. RAcket's feet landed on the guy's shoulders while his right blasters barrel slammed into the back of his neck where the spine connected to the skull. The burning hot metal dug in deep cracking the spine paralyzing the man. Funny thing was his fingers were still squeezing on the trigger. Left blaster had been holstered during the final parts of RAcket's descent before he had swung his hips sending his momentum through the turret. It was now facing the Republic forces who were almost point blank range around the weapon that had been focused on their enemy. The continuous flow if lazer fire slammed into the resisting soldiers from the right sides. Most unbeknownst to the coming death before it had already fallen on them. Racket's aim moved across the battle filled into the groups of soldiers all around. From their perspective it would seem as if an ally soldier was firing on them. The Sith forces began to spill over the front line and gain large amounts of ground towards the academy.

The screech of Sith and Republic star fighters could heard over head as the battle raged on atop the plateau, blaster bolts firing in almost every direction. Tugoro had been busy fighting along side [member="Talon Vosra"], however there was a strange disturbance in the force that he felt. Withdrawing his extended arms, the padawan would keep his weapon close to him, twisting his wrist in order to rotate his plasma beam in quick spins, batting away blaster fire. Military soldiers had flooded out of the academy, advancing on the Sith troopers to hold them off. Bolts of red energy would fly across the grassy plains as the two military forces collided, giving the small group a chance to fight interrupted apparently. [member="Racket"] and [member='Ki'an Karr'] had been having it out for a bit now, surprisingly no other troopers had interfered in the battle.

Powerful lasers crashed down from ships onto the grassy plain as the brown haired boy ran quickly, the explosions racking his mind as he moved. The boy's saber handle remained firm in his grasp as he darted through the battle, his feet aiming to avoid the many bodies that littered the ground. Ahead, he could see a small furry rodent-like alien scurrying away with speed, while his friend Ki'an limped away. What had happened? Turning his gaze to the sky, Tugoro's eyes would widen in surprise as he watched the flash bang soar forward. Lifting his arm, the boy's open palm would aim in it's general direction, releasing a wave of force energy that would blend itself into the surrounding source of force power, accelerating in a push that would impact with the grenade. However, it had been cooked before throwing, so as it was projected backwards it exploded, still casting a blinding light. Leaping onto the ground, Tugoro would lift his arms to cover his head, shrapnel flying all around his body thanks to the utilization of telekinesis earlier.

Lifting his gaze, he would watch as Racket massacred several Republic soldiers. Tugoro's teeth would grit in anger, though before anything he turned to his injured friend that had gone against the Agent alone. "You okay?"

Ki'an had retreated from his fight with [member="Racket"] to some cover not far away. He needed a moment to gather himself. His injuries were not life-threatening but they weakened him enough that he was vulnerable to attack. As he ducked back behind the rocks, he sensed danger and looked up to see a flash-bang flying toward him. Ki'an didn't have enough time to react so he ducked down and covered his head. He braced himself for the concussive explosion but when he heard it detonate he felt nothing. Looking up he saw that [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] had answered his call for help and had intervened in time.

Ki'an smiled at his friend. He hadn't meant to get separated from [member="Talon Vosra"] and Tugoro but it had become inevitable when he was attacked by Racket. He had found the small mammalian alien to be a formidable adversary and it was only luck and the fact that he had retired from the fight that had kept Ki'an from serious injury.

"I'm ok," Kian said, "but our soldiers are hard pressed. We need to do something." Ki'an said, taking the moment to draw the force inward in a pseudo-healing trance. It wouldn't heal his wounds, for that he would need to go into a deep meditative state, but it would help ease the pain he felt. He glanced around the battlefield to see how things were going.

The blast of the force bellow tore through the air. He felt himself sent hurtling end over end. His back stretched and arched as he slammed against permacrete. The durasteel was dented in places, but it had not affected the internal systems - yet. The hard rock-like substance cracked and caved backwards, throwing up a cloud of dust. He let out a racking cough that forced his entire body to shudder and convulse. He rested there momentarily whilst his foe was distracted by another. He felt the signature of another force user, and various non-force users in the area. He heard blaster fire burst to life in the vicinity. Fireteam Pool must have finally arrived, no doubt engaging Stormtroopers. Hasjo craned his neck whilst he lay prone in the dust and permacrete, looking to his enemy as he spoke to another. He boomed once more, the audio was reconfigured by his helmet so as to prevent damage to his hearing abilities. He glanced to the transceiver at his wrist, Chhht! "This if Sergeant Xai, we've arrived at the spaceport. Receiving heavy fire. We'll do our best to get to your location, General." Chhht!
He brought his hand up to his faceplate and spoke, "I order your men to hold the Spaceport down. But do not come inside."
Chhht! "Copy that - Argh! I'm hit! I'm-" Chhht!
"Sergeant. Sergeant, respond!" Hasjo barked into his transceiver, throwing a gloved, curled fist into the permacrete as he lay there. His body had recovered as much as it would whilst he was in the middle of a battlefield. No response came from the transceiver. He reached out with the force to feel his presence but there were too many to judge who was who. Hasjo had never been talented in the force. He climbed onto his feet, hands on his knees as he propelled himself up. He rolled his back and cracked his neck joints. Unlike humans and many other species, he did not have a vertebrae. He snapped his mandibles and prepared himself mentally for the fight ahead. His hand reached down to the double-bladed Lightsaber, releasing it from his belt. His thumb slid down the length of the hilt, igniting the twin cerulean blades with a familiar plasmatic hiss. Whilst in his suit, he didn't have stealth, but hopefully he had the element of surprise. He broke into a break-neck sprint towards the massive beast. He was surprisingly strong, even in his durasteel suit. As strong as any two men. He leapt through the air, twirling his body. The plasma whined loudly in the air. The force surged through his body as he came barreling towards his foe. He landed with an elegant thud, twirling his body in a way that would make even an experienced Twi'lek dancer envious. His lack of vertebrae allowed him a boneless agility that was not found in many species. He launched his assault on the beast with Ataru, shouting "Less talk, more practice!" He pounced into the air again, bringing his blade down upon the Herglic in the move known as Falling Leaf.

Rosa clapped her hands over her ears to no effect. The piercing screech she uttered did exactly what Hion intended for it to do, shattering ears drums and driving Rosa to her knees as the world swam about her. There was movement and noise to her left in a burst of emotion. Determination to end that which threatened. "No, don't." Rosa breathed weakly, feeling sick. She stood slowly, world shifting beneath her feet. She anchored herself, pinning her self where she was and closed her eyes. She was not a duellist, she never had been. She was a support act, so while Hasjo leapt forward Rosa focused on her ears drums, knitting them back together.

The world stopped swimming and came together in perfect clarity. She reached out to Hion pressing against his mind, looking for an opening. "You have been reborn a slave, Hion." she spoke softly words lost in the noise of the battle but loud in Hion's mind. "He will use you until there is nothing left to use and then he will discard you and you will return to Chaos once more." She was looking for a reaction, a flicker of emotion that she could amplify that she could use to cripple him.

Talon swept his blade through the air at neck height and relieved 3 troops of their brain housing apparatuses. The smell of bodies and scortched air from blaster fire filled the area. His clothing was torn in several places and he had suffered more than one blaster bolt. He blocked another and sent a violent force push at a line of advancing troops. The troops were struck as if by a speeder and sent flying back againt their compatriots. Again he swung his blades and again troops fell. It was sad that it had to be this way but Talon could not let the Sith Forces take another world for their oppression.

The sound of an explosion drew his attention and with the Sith on his side routed and no inbound drop ship to bring more he raced toward the wounded padawan.

"Hold on Ki'an." He said taking a bacta injector from his belt and handong it to Tugoro, "inject him while I find our friend."

Talon called on the force and sped toward the second of multiple turrets. Sweat beaded on his forehead and his emerald flareed with a determined gaze as he went after the little squirrel. He saw the little creature preparing to repeat his handiwork and moved to stop him. He drew on the force again and sent a force push at the creature's body. It was time for the squirrel to leave.

The air about Anaya vibrated with emotion as her eyes locked with Ashin's. Everything else faded into nothing, just her and Ashin face to face on a broken street. How many times had she seen that look? How many times had she watched Ashin stand ground like this with others? Now it was her turn. The great Empress Desmius, Ori'vod of the Vagrant fleet, Admiral Karrde of the Fringe. Ashin fething Varanin. So many names, a change form light to dark and dark to light. Beneath it all, she was still ruthless.

And that was why Anaya loved her.

Gimer stick swung down and Anaya deactivated one of the blades and twisted aside, allowing the powerful strike to pass her by, aiming to unbalance Ashin. Spinning the lower blade up she caught the lateral strike, the two blades spat in protest of the strike. Lightening leapt from her free hand and stretched for Ahsin's chest.

Spencer hit the ground and there was Jared on top of her. Frowning, she looked at him and then turned her head away for a moment. His hand was in a place it shouldn't be, because of this she shoved him off ignoring the escape of his pineapple and his strawberry. Standing up she nodded in her own special way of thanking him. Yet, she didn't move from where she was standing.

“After everything we've been through, she knows I can handle myself and I know she can take care of herself, but I'm not leaving her side. I have never left her side since the day that I met her and today isn't going to be any different.”

Ashin's gimer stick whipped down past Anaya's left side, but any halfway blademaster had trained these strikes a thousand times, with or without contact. Velocities, kata some called them, gave each strike a precise ending whether or not it hit anything. Anaya was pretty clearly hoping to get her to overcommit, but at this level, that didn't happen. Which was where the knee came in. Ashin's right knee had taken more than its share of trauma over the years, but rather than grow weak it had grown stiff, tough to maneuver with. She'd fought and won her duel against Na'Varro without once moving her feet, out of necessity as much as anything.

Her off-hand sabre skirled and whined against Anaya's backhand blade. Anaya stood with sabrestaff in her right hand, only the backhand blade lit, firing lightning with her left, and Ashin's gimer stick had just whipped past her left side. The Force Weapon-shielded walking stick dipped as her hand rotated and her forearm rose. The stick, now vertical before her torso and pointed at the ground, caught the lightning and pooled it within the Force Weapon aura. Meanwhile, Ashin's sabre drew back to a simple near-vertical guard at her left.

The vertical guard left had been muscle memory; now that sabre hand angled down and the blade clicked into dual-phase, doubling its length immediately, aimed for Anaya's breastbone and sabre hand. Her torso and hips pivoted left, along with her toes, as she shifted from a forward stance to a wide horseback stance at an angle to Anaya. At which point Ashin's right elbow snapped down, her lightning-charged gimer stick flicked up past her breastbone as she pivoted her torso left-

And the gimer stick, wreathed in Anaya's own lightning, whipped down at the Sith Master's skull.

Chaos was unfolding all over the plateau as the Sith soldiers swarmed in. The CO had taken a blast to the head, the platoon leader had stepped on a grenade and it was pretty much everyman for himself now.

"Watch that left flank, we got incoming."

Alpha fired his SR-6 blaster another dozen times, sending Sith soldiers toppling as smoking holes blossomed in their chest. So far the whole squadron was spread out, and no one was taking any initiative. Alpha saw his chance now. Fresh of the line with his new fancy armor and rifle, he could be the hero.

"Valkyries, on me! Spread out in sqauds of two and establish fighting positions!"

Since there was no real time to dig, or build walls Alpha did what he did best. And decided to blow some things up. As the squadron spread out he dropped a singular shaped charge on the ground and backpedaled fifty paces, calmly ignoring the raging battle and focusing on the spot.

BOOM!

The ground opened up with a crater sized hole. Smoke and flame billowed high to the sky and the clone felt a familiar tingle of adrenaline and pure ecstasy surge through him.

"Thats more like it!"

Merciless black eyes watched his foe writhe upon her knees, relishing in her pain, her suffering. Such would be the fate of all who dared stand in the way of society's progress. He tried reasoning with them once. Pearls before banthas. They deafened their ears to all reason and took up the saber to kill rather than defend. They betrayed their oaths and they slew him on Coruscant. There could be no reasoning with these deaf and blind warriors hell bent on war. Orcus would give them what they wanted. He would give them their war and their suffering and their pain and misery. They clapped their hands over their ears like Rosa and refused to listen to the truth. Thus words turned to bolts of plasma and their spirits would stand sore charged for the wasteful vengeance that should fly with them, for many a trillion widows would weep before the end of this.

Sudden danger rippled through the Dark Ocean. Orcus heeded the trepidation in those waters and took swift action, whirling toward the source of peril. The machine Jedi flung himself at Orcus, two blades whirling in a deadly dervish. Perhaps in another time the Jedi might have been an Ataru duelist to be feared, but such an age passed when the Jedi was put into that life support suit. While Nautolans might not have vertebrae, life support suits were clunky, jointed things ill-suited to such combat. The thought of Vader somersaulting through the air in Ataru assaults would be laughable at best.

Even so, the Jedi was fast and certainly more agile than Orcus. Yet, he made up in strength what he lacked in nimbleness. The 7'2" Herglic turned on the Jedi, bringing up his gigantic great saber that was nigh twice as long as an ordinary blade. The crimson length hummed vibrantly as it collided with Hasjo's falling leaf attack in a Form V counter. The Nautolan might have the strength of two men, but the eight hundred and fifty pound Orcus wielded the power of twenty on an ordinary day, just as a large simian held the might of ten. Yet, the Herglic stood covered in Orbalisk armor. The chitinous parasites fed off of the Dark Side in his person and in return gave him increased strength and agility, pumping him full of adrenaline.

It was this dolorous might which Orcus brought to bear against his speedy foe as he closed both flippers about the great saber and slammed it against Hasjo's airborne onslaught. Orcus did not attempt to connect blade with flesh, indeed he expected Hasjo's lightsabers to intercept his own. Rather, he hoped that his vast depths of strength would provide enough power to physically hurl the Jedi away just from the sheer force of their blades connecting in a parry.

Sudden words whispered to him across the battlefield. The female. She pleaded, calling him a slave of the Dark Lord. Once upon a time he knew the Jedi called Rosa Mazhar. Once upon a time they had been something like friends. Where had she been when the Jedi had slain him upon Coruscant? Where were her comforting words then?!

"FOOL!" Orcus boomed, whilst focusing upon combat with the machine Jedi, "THE DARK LORD BROUGHT ME SALVATION!"

He wanted to silence her lying, false words. The Herglic loosed a shorter shriek that split the air, similar to the first but lesser in duration. "EEEEEYYYYYYK!"

Something, or someone rather, was being very loud. Force bellow and its accompanied skills. The first two had rocked the entire floor they were on, but it also destroyed the barrier of permacrete that stood between the young man and his allies. An explosion rocked the wall as Turin blasted through with Force Combustion, sending chunks of permacrete flying. Mid cry, Turin immersed his body in the Force, making sure to focus directly around the most vulnerable parts of his ears, grasping at the air around his head. It was experimental, and completely on the fly, but what he was attempting to do was essentially deafen himself without causing too much damage to his own ears.

It worked, to a degree. Leaping through the gaping hole with a Force enhanced leap, he slid on the ground a few meters, and gripped the giant's gaping maw with the Force, using Force Crush on his jaw, not to kill, but to slam his jaws closed.

he beast was a giant compared to the relatively short metalloid Nautolan. Hasjo stood at a mere five-seven feet, much shorter than the seven foot behemoth. Whilst he was quick and strong, it didn't seem to matter against the creature. Durasteel plates scraped past one another in perfect rhythm. This was not the armour of a millennium gone by. This was the armour of a new age. Technological wonders had been achieved. Whilst he was not near the versatile flexibility of what he had once been, he was still a threat - but clearly not to a titan among men. Before the attack even connected, Hasjo knew he needed to change his own attack and fast before he became squid soup. Their blades connected and the ferocity of the clash send him hurtling back through the air. It felt as though a massive truck had just slammed against him as he was flung like a rag doll. His cortosis pike itself snapped harshly, blue sparks sputtering out from the hilt as the plasma disengaged. The weapon was thrown from his grip. Hasjo slammed hard against the ground with scratches covering the thin durasteel.

Hasjo pulled himself back onto his knees quickly. Time was of the essence. A piercing cry was heard in the air, his helmet quickly lowered it's audio input and output. The wavelengths harmlessly bouncing off him, his ears protected by the onboard systems of his suit. There was a deep gushing noise coming from his chest. It was not his breathing but something else. The sound itself was disturbing. It was the beating of one of his hearts, and the other was the MLSS's apparatus that controlled blood flow from his second heart. Hasjo drew his hand to his hip, unholstering the AB-1 heavy blaster pistol and unloading all seven blaster shots towards the Herglic. His finger snapped against the trigger. Hasjo slammed the weapon back into its holster just as quickly as he had withdrawn the weapon and fire. He dived out of his position, rolling onto his feet. He took up a stance of Makashi, withdrawing a single bladed lightsaber. The plasma snapped to attention with a burst of cerulean light.

Kiyron paused at the edge of he jungle, and scanned the plateau. Things were getting hairy up there. How unfortunate he had been sent on a fool's errand to retrieve the Silver Jedi. No time to worry about that though. He needed to get up there fast. Fortunately he had a speeder. He grabbed his gear and double checked it all. Everything was secure.

He started out in he open, going slow. Non threatening. Who cared about something like this when there were star fighters screaming around, pouring blaster fire and torpedoes into dropships and enemy star fighters. He kept going forward, tensed and ready for any incoming fire. Something caught his eye. Something red. So,embody had dropped some food from a picnic apparently.

He was almost there now, and then he hit the accelerator while yanking the nose up. He shot up and forwards, the g's slamming him into the back of the seat. Within moments he was over the lip of the plate, skimming right above the surface. Blaster fire streaked towards him, slicing into the speeder, causing it to wobble and smoke. Kiyron jammed the air-brake, nearly cracking his skull against the dashboard, grabbed his bag, and dove out, hitting the groundwork a roll as the speeder crashed into some rocks ahead of him.

Excellent cover. He shifted aside to a different boulder and yanked his camouflage from his pack, draping it over the armor, and then began assembling his sniper rifle. Then a Republic turret opened fire on allied troops. His stomach dropped and he shifted his angle, leaning it against the boulder.

Then he waited until he had a shot. What was that at the controls though? A small mammal apparently. Odd. No time to consider though. He lined up and squeezed the trigger. He waited enough for the bolt to leave the barrel and then he was moving again, shifting to a more secure rock formation. He crouched behind it, regulating his breathing to be almost silent. Not that anyone could hear him over the battle though.
