Don't worry. The core of the changes I'm going for revolve around removing the whole "will penetrate" and moving more along the lines of... more likely to slip though. Like the difference between a hollow-point bullet and one designed to pierce armor.

Not guaranteed to take out the target, but more likely than the alternative. And mainly only an effect that is seen after the target's shields have been battered by sustained fire.

I'd like to request a second chance for this submission because:

• I wasn't permitted to make clarifying edits, cite sources, show precedents, or otherwise respond to the judge's issues before the submission was denied.
• The submission was denied on the grounds that "I cannot find any instance of a weapon such as this powered by the Force, nor what exactly a Yrkaa artifact is. As there is no submission like this that has passed approval on Chaos in the past, and there being no canon reference material that I can locate..." If I had been given the chance to respond before a denial was issued, it would have become clear that a ) weapons powered by the Force exist in canon and have been Factory approved, b ) the 'Yrkaa artifact' contention was a result of the judge misreading the submission, c ) submissions very much like this have been approved in the past, including the recent past, and d ) canon reference material does exist on top of what I linked in the submission. I only cited one canon source in the original submission because, frankly, this is a very underpowered and mild submission compared to literally dozens of approved subs, and based on that experience I didn't think more than the core source citation would be necessary. I'm more than willing to provide as many precedents as a judge requests.

So... I'm not exactly sure why the Myrkava Main Battle Tank was put into archive. It had only been in the factory for 4 days when I told [member="Lily Kirsche Kuhn"] that the last handful of posts would be completed over the next 2-3 days and that I needed to work in the final round of edits she requested... But that the submission would be done and ready for review by Monday. I could have understood if the Vehicle Factory were cluttered, but there were only two submissions being worked on at the time... so I don't get it.

Either way, all 1,023 posts of development are done for the submission and I need it brought out of archives so that I can finish making the requested edits and have it ready for final review sometime between the end of today and monday.

I do not believe that this submission was given a fair shot at existing, with no effort made to assist its fruition, and it felt as if though it was denied prior the final judgement.

I've taken a look at what the judge has said, and redrawn the whole submission. I did a little research in wookiepedia, and it now uses an alternative energy field that should produce the effects I desire while hopefully maintaining the believable cohesiveness the judge was looking for.

I am also willing to provide another development thread towards this endeavor, to prove that I believe that this is possible, and that I'm willing to work for it, as well as work with any judges I come across should they be willing to work with me in kind.

I believe War Hydra's answer was appropriate at the end, to which I pre mentioned the following (I wasn't aware that clarification was an issue, I'll keep that in mind in the future):

If so, that's fine and I'll modify this to have more ambiguous ammunition, reflecting just the capacity of the vong to create something similar to the light-gas gun or mass driver, but I would just like to know for the future.

I'd like for a second chance so I can make the edits I agreed to, if that's possible (i'll make edits to the current sub and tag the reviewing judge when ready - shouldn't take long). I don't need a new judge or anything like that (not telling you all what to do or nothing).

I'd like a second opinion on the matter.

The point of contention is the arbitrary restriction of the ammunition capacity to twenty rounds in between reloads. There's no technological basis for such a restriction, as the weapon in question utilizes disintegrating link ammunition belts, an external power source, and a tibanna gas cartridge that in no way, shape, or form stretches the limits of canon technology at its current capacity. While I understand the need to maintain some semblance of RP balance, there is already a lengthy and frankly alarming list of drawbacks that make the weapon in question as much a liability as an asset. On top of that, I'm willingly restricting its use in PvP activities. It will not be used without the express permission of the opposing side.

In essence, what I've built is a technological demonstrator for only occasional use in RP. It is a unique weapon that cannot be reproduced. My intent in creating it was to showcase the sort of technical know how I can bring to other projects, which will be the focus of the business I intend to create.

However, while I'm willing to work with the factory staff in getting technology approved, I'm not willing to sacrifice the spirit of the weapon for the sake of conforming to unnecessary limitations. I thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to your reply.

Id like to make edits and re-balance the submission. Thought I gotta say if this tech sub gets denied the same way it did before, were gonna have a issue. I want communication and help before I get to a judgement.
