As he said so he would raise his hands, bending his fingers to do air quotes when he said "favorites",

"But off the record I understand just fine what you are saying."

Leaning in one of his photoreceptors would turn off and on, doing a sly wink, making it seem that he was reading way more into what Kay was saying than he should.

Kay raised a brow as [member="HK-36"] began displaying a bit more of his personality than she was used to. He even assumed that she wasn't telling the truth. But what exactly he was implying, she couldn't quite guess. Did he think that she took offers under the table?

"Off the record? HK, there is no difference between on the record or off. We don't play favourites. Period." Something was clearly wrong with his programming. Did he wink at her? He must be having some sort of malfunction to be sure.
