"No, I hear they taste awful." She giggled slightly shaking her a little. Ana did a lot of recipe searching and she had never seen cooked Vong before but than again she never looked nor would she. There was only one thing that Vong were good for and that was killing. This place didn't lend itself very well to her favorite force ability so she would have to make due with her blaster or saber. She couldn't even sense them though the Force which on it's own was odd. Ana just shrugged it off as it didn't matter. The young master didn't rely solely on the Force.

Dinner plans would have to wait as the Vong were advancing and she wasn't about to let the droids be the ones to have all the fun. Calling her saber to her hand Ana soon found herself engaged with the battle as well. Her saber clashing with the sword of one of the Vong's staff sticks or whatever they called it. Ana didn't know the technical term nor did she care it was all the same to her. As her saber slashed through the first one she went toe to toe with the next.

Her head turned for a second to see Orick fighting by her side. He was a warrior in his own right so she wasn't worried about him needing saving. Though if he ever did need her Ana would come to his rescue of course.

“The Corellian Run was one of the largest hyperspace routes running through the galaxy, mapped between 25,000 BBY and 24,000 BBY. It contributed in making Corellia an economic superpower.”

You could find that kind of information in any educational book worth its money, from which you could derive that the Corellian Run was one of the most important trading routes that one could aspire to run on when you were handling in all the things that Khal did. You needed a specific presence on it, which the Underlord had… to a degree.

But Doldur couldn’t be missed in that equation, it would have been a waste and so here they were today in a little freighter orbiting the busy-body planet that once had been the capital of the entire sector.

Wasn’t really all that grand anymore these days, but it had a fairly extensive spaceport where warehouses and private landing pads were currently being rented by the Salvatrucha Corporation and the various subsidiaries that it was loosely affiliated with.

“Gotta have an answer soon, Dak.” the Underlord would reply over his drink, whilst his people were doing the work - he had decided to take a break for a while. Get a few drinks in with Dakita, instead of carrying the action the entire operation long.

Sitting across from Malvern, Dakita sipped an Ice Blaster which colored as pink as her rosy skin. A cigarette sat in an ashtray in front of her and she distractedly tapped at it, the ashes falling down into the glass. Dakita had thought long and hard about what school she wanted to attend. She had a business school on Zeltros all picked out and had even arranged for a tour. But at the last minute, she chickened out. Zeltros just had too many temptations. While Dak wasn't the most trustworthy near-human, she was very grateful to Malvern to him for the opportunity and didn't want to squander it by partying every night and spending his money on spice and alcohol instead of tuition.

But she didn't want to attend school on a no-name planet with a bunch of egg-heads and nerds either. The compromise was easy. A famous school on a huge planet where she could study seriously and also have a social life.

"The University of Coruscant," she said. "I'll be majoring in business and located in one of the Fobosi dorms."

Dakita would rather live in an apartment, but if the dormitory was her only option, she hoped it was co-ed.

And it was a good choice, part of him had wondered if she would try to convince him to have her go at some ‘university’ on Zeltros. A few ticks here and there, bringing up relevant information on the current prices of land on Doldur and nearby real-estate. Prices were already starting to rise just a little bit, it seemed that the Galaxy at large had finally gotten the general message that the Techno Union was trying to send every time that they came around to expand their influence.

They make things better.

It was a good thing that his men had been here before the Union had arrived, bought up a lot of property for bottom prices, because nobody had been expecting anything to change in the near-future. That’s how it usually happens.

The University of Coruscant wouldn't be cheap but Malvern didn't seem to flinch at the choice. That gave Dak an idea.

"My first semester starts in a couple of weeks," she said. He would see a pained look flash across her face. Truthfully, Khal and the Ravens were the stability she never had been given by her gypsy parents. Which said very little about her real mother and father, if a criminal organization felt like family. She was apprehensive and a bit sad at the thought of being away from her boss and her security under his steed.

Speaking of real estate...

"So Khal, is it possible that you can pay for an apartment in Fobosi while I attend?" she asked, twirling her straw around in her glass. A Fobosi apartment would be expensive, especially on the upper level. Dakita knew that Malvern wouldn't want her on the lower levels, lest she become distracted by the underworld's lure. She would unleash a wave of pheromones on him, but the Zeltron slicer had already figured out a while back for some reason this biological advantage she had didn't work on him. But being an empath was also a natural trait, so she reached out and gave him a light telepathic nudge, appealing to his happiness and generosity. Finally, she fluttered her eye lashes at him in her best attempt to curry his favor with her exotic good looks.

" You hear? Who exactly are you talking to when you're not with me?" He didn't have time to wonder about it anymore as the vong flowed forward and crashed against his droid forces. he pulled his rifle up to his shoulder and began to take aimed shots at the approaching forces. There seemed to be an unusually large number of vong, but too many of them had only melee weapons, and not nearly enough of them were going to make it into close quarters ot win this fight.

With a wave of his hand the two exemplar bodyguard droids moved forward to protect his blind side while he continued to decimate the vong from a distance. His under barrel disruptor spewed ionized particles and the tight beam hit a vong square in the chest, ripping a hole in the vong at the molecular level. The vong dropped to the ground and was quickly replaced by yet another. His droids were quickly embattled and he wondered if they vong were going to suicide this run or if they would retreat in the face of greater forces.

Dakita couldn't believe what she was hearing. To not only get Club Frenzee back, which in and of itself would make her extremely happy, but to run the holding company? It nearly made her spit her Ice Blaster out!

I mean it totally makes sense that it's a Zeltron at the helm, she reasoned. Being the party race of aliens that we are. But she was very surprised that Malvern trusted her with such a large endeavor.
A wide smile crept over her face and with a pink finger she signaled the cocktail waitress, a curvaceous bright green Twi'lek, over. "Can we have some champagne for the table?" Dak asked. The lekku-ed beauty took the order and walked off to get a fresh bottle.

The Zeltron slicer lit another cigarette, not even after putting out her last and took a deep drag on it. Still, Malvern didn't go for the Fobosi apartment deal. That would mean the Uni dorm where the beds would be small and hard, and the refreshers probably had fungus on the floors. Being a Raven after a few years kind of spoiled her for anything that wasn't a least a little bit VIP.

But Dakita knew when to not push the issue especially as her boss's gaze would rather linger on the Twi'lek than her own pink body. The green skinned server and dumped the ice bucket with bottle inside unceremoniously on the table along with two long-stemmed glasses.

“Get down!”

Those were the words he focused on, even as his mind was immersed in the darkness. Under the phrik armor he was wearing, the fine hairs stood on the back of his neck. Adrenal responses fired way too soon as he saw the cannon shot before it happened. Sweat dripped down the small of his back and the sides of his face as he moved with one motion. Everything in him told him to duck, and he did that just as Tmoxin had instructed him to do. Every soldier had done the same, and the sound of the cannon was thankfully cut down by the sensors in his helmet.

Pure destruction happened before him, and behind his helmet he smiled.

Rising to his feet, the crimson blade in his hand sprung forth again. Pistons fired on the weighted portions, and he kept his stride brisk. Vong, or what remained were reforming and coming towards him. Most would have assumed a battle stance, he on the other hand simply took a thermal detonator off his belt and threw it into the middle of the group while extending his mind upwards towards the trees. Tendrils of the darkside wrapped around the tops, and pulled downward. That wasn’t where most of his energy was going, instead he was primarily focused on pulling the roots out. His only purpose for angling the tops was for when…

As if on command, the foliage above came crashing down as the trees were uprooted and the fell towards their intended targets.

Situations change and the time to adjust always needed to be fast. Seto though, that moment flew forward with his speeder and choose to simply brute force himself through the changing situation instead of adjusting his attacks. His blade made a wide swing in front of him but cut through nothing, only air as Seto turned his speeder bike hard left as he tried to slow himself.

He felt himself smacked out of his seat as he braced himself quickly, summoning the Force to act as a cushion as he landed on the muddy ground. Seto rolled forward as he jumped back up, his lightsaber ignited and held in a defensive position in front of him. The Vong warrior itself stood tall as it smashed its blade into his speeder, sparks flew as the Vong charged forward, full intent of fighting Seto head on.

Seto though frowned deeply as brought his saber forward, he tensed his right arm holding his saber as he raised his left hand slowly. He inched forward, calling once more upon the Force, the air still around as Seto moved forward, his saber pointed directly at the Vong. The two weapons clashed but Seto used his Saber to deflect the attack as he used his left hand to move the mud beneath the Vong's feet to knock the Warrior off of its feet.

His body twisted as he launched a single vicious leg strike to propel the Vong back as Seto aimed his wrist at the Vong and spewed out a large amount of flames at the Vong. Seto moved back his wrist as he charged forward, the flames licking the surface of Seto's armor but he quickly shut off the flamethrower as he thrust his lightsaber into the Vong's chest. His body pressed deeper into his attack, teeth gritting as he pushed further and further, penetrating straight through its crabarmor in a few seconds.

The Vong body slumped on the muddy ground as Seto breathed slowly to adjust himself, his head looked around as he saw that his HUD was registering the signal for help from the scout. Seto quickly disengaged his lightsaber as he looked for the Scout. His eyes tracked as he spotted broken armor and a heavily wounded body within the armor to match. The Scout was male as he painstakingly tried to heave himself back up.

Seto took a knee in front of the wounded scout, his eyes scanned as he noted fatal wounds and knew that the Scout was not long from this world. "Report," Seto said, his tone was rather empty of emotion if not a bit cold but his fingers reached into his utility belt for a syringe for a heavy dose of morphine.

The Scout tried to speak but only gargled up blood, Seto quickly injected the man as he slowly rested his head back down. Seto reached for the datachip inside the helmet's core to download the Scouts information as he stood back up as he quickly briefed himself on the new information.

Seto's head snapped to the direction of the sound of explosions. He piratically felt, not just heard, the cannon fire as he started to move away from his current spot. His speeder bike was beyond repair and Seto knew he had a long walk ahead of him as he continued his trek.

The Marsh felt more lively but something huge was coming, Seto felt something not so distant but it was hard to exactly know how huge this life form was but Seto quickly brought out both his saber and sword. "Something rather big, but it doesn't feel tha-. . . oh, of course," Seto muttered to himself. A large roar vibrated the air around as Seto jumped back once more to gain more distance away as a pair of large claws dug into a tree in front of him and snapped ti cleanly off of its roots.

The creature was almost twice the height of Seto and he noted the somewhat large jaw as well as the fact it was bipedal and it had several more Vong warriors acting as its escort. Seto inched back now, his body certain that this fight was not one he could win out right. Though something slowly caused a small thrill in the back of his mind, his fingers loosed and tightened around the weapon's hilts. Seto was a gambler, and this was a gamble, one he was more than use to taking during situations rather bleak for the young Du Couteau heir.

Ana would have come up with some witty response to his question but she was arm deep in Vong guts. The sooner they took care of the situation at hand the sooner they could go spend some quality time together. A romantic dinner with her husband sounded really nice about now after a shower of course.

The droids were doing their job and if she was to turn up the heat Ana would end up frying his droids which was the last thing that Ana wanted to do. The saber was a great tool and it chopped through Vong like no other but she kind of wanted to show off. Lucky or unlucky depending on how one looked at there was another pack coming from the left that needed to be dealt with which gave Ana the perfect opportunity to use the flame thrower. She would have used Pyro but Ana had come to find the Force didn't work on them which was a shame. There were so many abilities she had to pocket because of it. "I'll take care of the pack coming up on the left," she turned slightly to grin at him as another Vong fell before Ana moved over to the new emerging pack. Picking up the flame thrower she aimed it at the vong and turned up the heat. Standing in one place she moved it back and forth attempting to get them all.

The whole point of Danger Close was to push the enemy back away from your allies. When it worked properly it could be incredibly effective. When it didn't work... you normally got a court marshal. This time it worked out and at a Kilometer, which in the grand scheme of things wasn't very long range. Even still, I was glad there hadn't been any serious injury to the Morpho Security units, and the vong were now in retreat and my tanks were advancing to provide cover for the Morpho units.

"Swap to secondaries boys, keep them on the run." I called over the unit comm, the loaders moving to operate the E-Webs and Autocannons mounted onto the vehicle. Rapid fire bolts started blazing from the tanks as we rolled forward. Engines revved and Shields expanded to provide the infantry with some protection from the vong weapons. The newer, more advanced generators continued to impress, able to power the vehicles powerful starfighter shields, the main weapon, and the sub-systems for the vehicle without draining it significantly. These were smaller than we intended to be implemented, but they had thus far preformed very well.

Irys shuddered as another burst of blaster fire echoed down the corridor. It was followed shortly afterwards by an explosion. In the maze of corridors in the bowels of the Gunray class star destroyer, she couldn't even tell which direction it was coming from. What could she do? They could be ahead of her, or behind her. She wasn't armed, no officers wore pistols about the ship when on duty. Instead she pressed herself back into the shadow of an alcove like a coward.

These corridors were her home. Even in the dull red glow of the emergency light she knew the Majesty inside out. It had taken on a very different aspect now. The corridors were full of shadows and danger, and she was trapped all alone in her personal hell.

Objective: Murderize Techno Union Infidels

Kaiju Vong was walking through the swamp. Picking up field mice and bopping them on the head. It was getting scent of several infidels. Obsidians by the way the Yuuzhan Vong soldiers were working. And Techno Union members. Infidels. Kaiju Vong did not have a name. Kaiju Vong was a cross of an infidel swamp dwelling species and the superior Yuuzhan Vong.

It was experimental.

He was experimental.

He was also hungry. And he was hunting. The targets were coming into view and Kaiju Vong let out a loud road, spittle, acidic spittle, was coming from its Maw. It was going to feed. It was going to sleep.

It was going to molt.

Objective A

Status: under attack

As she waited for some sign that she should be fleeing in a particular direction, she hoped that before all this the emergency beacon had got out. Before the EMP mine had disabled the hyperspace transceiver, before the secondary pulse back from the capacitors had blown most of the battle droid's circuits whilst they were being charged.

But far more than that, she hoped that Kosit was safe. She had thought her relationship with lieutenant Stil'dor had been something of convenience. They were both of a similar age, both stuck on long tours. Beyond sharing a bunk some nights they'd interacted very little. But now, every time she closed her eyes, she saw him. Eyes open, glazed over and devoid of life. His fur matted with blood. Another wave of nausea had to be forced down. Perhaps, without her realising, it had become something far more.

Her train of thought was interrupted by another succession of blaster fire. That had definitely come from the direction of the turbolifts. Onwards it was then.

Sabrina turning back to her old ways, had been on this planet when techno union turned up. They where messing with her plans, she after a holocron what was here somewhere. It was one made by Darth Azard, a quarren and a member of the one sith back in time of Darth Krayt. Know they have come, and could stop her expanding her powers. The vong had slowed them down, who she had used the force to by pass. Though she could not do for much longer soon, it would be at her throat. She head to cave she believed it was at, and head in using the dark for cover. She was unsure if she had been seen though, though if they came here. The numbers would count for nothing, nothing at all.

The cave had a narrow passages, and somewhere here his shrine could be. The power she wanted could be there also, she had come to far to let the techno union stop her know surly.

With the Vong in full retreat I dismounted the vehicle to check on wounded troops. The expanded shields could protect us from pot shots and it was really just clean up. There was talk of a Rakamut stomping around, but it had yet to show up on sensors and sometimes reports weren't always very accurate. Even still, my tanks had been made specifically to counter such beasts and large sith spawn with long range, high power, massive caliber main weapons. They were fairly good at it too, able to one shot Rancor's without much difficulty, and equipped with homing rounds and something so big, missing wasn't an issue.

A presence pressed against my Force Sense. I couldn't place it, but as we continued checking on the wounded, and taking special care that Commander Temi wasn't injured or scraped, I decided I needed to investigate. "Commander Temi, you can borrow my tanks, I am going on a personal errand for a while. If you have to deal with something nasty, they have nice molecular shields and the new experimental generators to boot. You shouldn't have a problem, and I would prefer you to be safe since I won't be around for a while."

I didn't really wait for a response, but I kept my spirits high and was polite in my excusing myself. Three tanks should be more than enough to support her and her troops. I walked off into the forests, through the dead vong. The mysterious presence was still further ahead, but I was growing nearer. I was moving significantly faster than the presence, it must be searching for something. Even still, stealth wasn't my strong Suit. I was capable of it, but no expert, hardly proficient at the ability.

She could sense some one coming towards her, they where force sensitive that bit was certain. They must be after the holocron she was trying to find, well it was not theirs to have she had done to much research to get it. She have kill them quickly, and then get the holocron and get of this rock before anyone knows. She found a dark corner in the cave, and began to use the force to shield her from sight. She imagined herself in the sea, and then diving into depths of it as she did thing became a blur. She became invisible, she would study her pray and then crush them. Then get her holocron, and get of this rock as it know has techno union on it.

As I neared a cave the presence I sensed faded away, smearing itself out, disappearing. That meant one of two things. Either an Ysalamiri had mystically appeared within the cave, or the Presence was a person, particularly skilled in concealing their presence. I was not skilled in such a way. I was skilled in other ways. Even still if my opponent didn't want to be found, this could be difficult. Personally, I didn't know how it was, and I doubt the had recognized me. I was not so well known in the galaxy, and I had few personal rivals that actually cared to remember me. If anything I was the stereotypical Dark Jedi Knight. I blended in with several groups, worked well to accomplish a goal, and didn't go out of my way to cause people serious pain or injury. Until very recently. Now, I had the assistance of a very dark place in my heart. A place I could call upon and access the reservoir of strength there. It was not a pleasant experience for my part, but sometimes it was necessary, other times it was just fun to unleash the beast.

I toggled the Sensor's in my HUD to full active, giving me a fairly decent full spectrum scan on the cave as I climbed into it. Gripping Taak'Shukur in one hand and using the other to help navigate wasn't especially difficult. I was in good physical shape and had a strong grasp of survival, which included some experience with spelunking. Who ever it was that was in here did not mean to be found. That was of no concern to me. I intended to find them and figure out who they were, and why they were here, searching this world of all places. There was nothing important here.
