Created with research into ancient Shield amulets, the darkside artifacts being destroyed in the process of experimentation but yielding testable results as Matsu went to work. The crystals she harvested from Rhen Var with Grandmaster Iella for her sabers and research into them. Those proved what she needed to use to augment and improve the amulet as she forged a small plate of plexisteel that she poured force energy into. Forging and slowly augmenting it with art of the small to produce a barrier as the solari crystal's properties of feeling the lightside to detect the person wielding it.
The amulet will not function for anyone not of the lighside and works almost on a sub conscious level that allows it to project a small barrier of energy to protect from a blow.... For around thirty seconds. It isn't like a personal shield generator, it doesn't have a power source it has a wielder and uses the force energy of those it is attached to. The energy it draws is moderate able to be reduced with training and understanding by stronger force users but without the special training it can tire out most people. The second major thing is how it works with no on switch. The amulet slowly bonds and attunes to the user.
With that bond it is able to read their thoughts and react when they fear for their lives creating a barrier to resist energy and kinetic impact but then it will dissipate after thirty second with a small pop of energy that can push back small things. Afterwards though it needs to recharge and rebuild energy both with itself and the one using it. The hybrid plexisteel hardened with the force like force armor or a blade increasing its weight and resistance to blasters which can protect it from shattering as well as provide minor resistance against a lightsaber striking it.
As with lightside artifacts a powerful enough darkside attack can remove the properties and leave it a decorative amulet. Some additional testing of it allowed for one to disable it prematurely but at a greater cost of energy then if they let it run its cycle and pop. The treatment of it and further testing might be able to improve this but for now Matsu was just glad that she was able to work and create something able to be used by the jedi. The amulet can create a protective barrier for the wearer now and sustain it longer while improving the force within them, the barrier can be projected outwards to make a bubble against force energy and blasters. When a darksider tries to use the amulet it will backfire creating an arc of heart stunning energy to incapacitate them.
The as jedi work on the amulet continued to go they built more onto it using xythan force shields recovered from ancient droids and manufacturing additional ones for the team to work with. They worked to increased the production of the amulet itself while letting small amounts of continued force enhancement through new synthweaving techniques. THe lightside of the force enhancing and allowing them to augment it while keeping the amulets away from the hands of those who do not follow the lightside of the force. WIth darksiders it can cause unease and nausea being around or holding it as the amulet works to protect itself from misuse. With lightsiders it creates a continued sense of serenity and holding embedded it in a sigil as well as a pair of murr earrings that have been inlaid like jewels.

Built to once be worn by Xander Carrick on mission that would otherwise be considered under cover, it was funded by the company he owned as to protect himself as a Silver Jedi Knight, and becoming a Jedi Master within the Silver Jedi Order before it had become the Silver Sanctum Coalition it is of recent years.
The helmet can be deployed in an instant. Taking just a second or two to completely enclose the wearer's head in a protective shell of leaves, or sleeves that form together a rather solid dome. When collapsed, it looks like a rather large collar much like a slave collar, or just a large fashion accessory. its very easy to attach it around one's neck. Activating the helmet is as easy as actuating the switch housed inside the collar piece with telekinesis. However, it can be done by anyone else who knows how to use this helmet as well. *This information is strictly OOC, and does not give people the ability to flip it willy nilly even if they just met the person who happens to be wearing it.*
If the wearer were to be moving their head a lot, pivoting their head around on their neck when activating the helmet, the leaves can pinch the user between the leaves, and can even pull the top layers of skin off. The two rings on either side of the helmet are the weak points of the helmet. Smashing the side can prevent the helmet from closing. As well as having something jammed in between the leaves during the opening process.
Providing over all good protection, it's meant as a last resort, or for covert operations and the like.

- Songsteel makes it a rather light helmet for how thick the leaves of metal are. It also provides high lightsaber and blaster resistance.
- Able to deploy in a second or two, the helmet is worn around the neck in a choker for easy access.
- Weak points are along the side of the head where the leaves of songsteel are connected. If broke, it can prevent the closing of the helmet.
- The helmet is great for energy based weaponry, however, its not so great for kinetic impacts, or ballistic weaponry. It will protect against simple shrapnel, and maybe a stray slugthrower, but otherwise, a direct hit can find oneself with a slugthrower round piercing through the fold of the leaves and into the wearer's head.
- The HUD can shut down if an EMP Goes of. It still can close and open, however, the HUD won't activate and give you full functionality.
- Even if it is held as a choker around the neck, it still retains its weight. Its not suddenly become weightless.
- Bright Yellow eyes are a sign that the systems inside the helmet are active, and can be seen in the dark.
- It can be easy to activate, however if someone were to know how the helmet operates, they too, can shut it off, or turn it on at inopportune times.
- Can't be worn with other facial items such as glasses, or other helmets when on.

Description: The strengths include the heavy impact inherent to the weapon, as well as the range of usable ammo added by the customization. Drawbacks include the dependence of teamwork for one of the settings, the weight of the weapon, and the heavy recoil.Though the weapon can be drawn and fired quickly, it is by no means a good option for the smuggler hoping to be quick. While it was once prone to destruction by both blaster and lightsaber attacks, its new cortosis underbelly offers the weapon a profound degree of resistance. As per the nature of cortosis, the metal causes lightsabers to temporarily short out upon impact (Though, with continued strikes, the lightsaber and blaster will eventually win out).
