He made a scuffled nod, and decided to stay, mainly for his own good. The more experienced Sith would have a better chance battling the Jedi. Igniting his weapon, he advanced on a soldier, and in a rather elegant way decapitated him, before going on to another.

He wasn't stupid. The Acolyte, having little training at the time, had decided to stay out of the way of Jedi, and focus on Soldiers, less likely to attack him first.

"Yeah, it's beautiful. We should play like this all the time."

And another Jedi. Probably a battlemaster, from the embellishment on his armor.

"Oh, look... More stuff to chew up. Ready, Malachore?"

Sidi had been seated in the accommodation sector of the Temple when the guns started firing. The tall Devaronian woman was one of the first to slam her way into the corridor, looking to see a series of confused Sith troopers. Her yellow eyes squinted when she saw two Royal Guards burst from out of another room, an anti-materiel rifle in the hand of one, and a rocket launcher in the hand of another. Both barrels expelled smoke, recently fired. She let them past, for she knew they were well above her rank for her to demand what was happening. When incoming fire exploded forth the room the Royal Guards had been in, she could only assume the Temple was under attack. She twisted her body to watch the Royal Guards enter her former room, and seconds later they fled again after the thunderous booms of their weapons.

Sidi turned and quickly ran down the hallway, she was only five meters away from her door when the entire room exploded. Tank fire had wiped out her sleeping quarters. The Inquisitor Acolyte reached down to her waist and curled her hands around the long-handled hilt of her lightsaber. It was simple in design, and nothing about it was noteworthy. It appeared to be only a cylindrical tube that held a grip and button for ignition. She raced her way towards the main staircase, Sith troopers were pouring from out of the accommodation suites and flooding the flight of stairs. Sidi joined the chaos as they spewed out onto the Temple Entrance where they were met with incoming fire.

Among the madness she spied a Sith Knight, one she had seen before. He was well known among his enemies, and not for his nice behaviour. Darth Acarus raised a finger to two acolytes and roared in command, "Find Jedi, and kill them. Or remain here, and defend the Temple." Sidi shoved her way through the crowd to move towards Metus and Mala, looking towards them, "Strength in numbers, brothers." Her thumb slid down the length of the hilt and ignited her blade with a familiar snap-hiss. The synthetic focusing crystal ejected a crimson plasma.

Things quickly got interesting.

Deal with the enemy Sith! Flint requested to apprentice [member="Oka Osaa"], having heard a Sith ([member="Salvor Arnex"]) coming over to fight them. He had heard the enemy Force-User approaching. The Force told Flint that apprentice Oka and the enemy Sith would be evenly matched.

Flint had his own problems to take care about. ([member="Lieutenant Kir"] [member="Krazhmir Tsaak"]) First came the barrage of sonic blasts, and from what he could tell, more of those red giants seems to have come to fight. The Jedi Knight lept as high as he could aided by the Force, and just when he thought he had successfully dodged the barrage, he was hurled backwards in the air by the sheer power of the blasts.

Thankfully for Flint, he had not taken a direct hit, but he had been too close to the enemy guards to have dodged their shots completely. Flint winced slightly as he hit the ground after being hurled back, but was quick to pick himself up. His shoulder hurt like feth, but his instincts warned him that it was not the right time to do a damage check.

Just in time, too. One of the red guards abruptly appeared infront of him while Flint was getting up, and unleashed a massive stream of fire right at him. Calling upon the Force, Flint had just enough time to redirect the stream of fire to pass on either sides of him. He could definitely feel the heat of the flames, however, and various parts of his robe were burnt. Next, his enemy reached towards him, apparently aiming to crush his neck with its gauntlet. Out of instinct, the Jedi rolled left to dodge the attack. Upon standing back up, Flint woud attack at his foe with a vertical slash using his lightsaber.

Flint wondered if the other guards would fire sonic blasts again. The blasts would hit both of them if they did, that was for sure. The problem was, Flint was the one not wearing the massive bulky armor.

Kir didn't even seem to notice the lightsaber.

The Vertical strike back down directly onto his shoulder, directly where the heaviest plating of phrik was located. The lightsaber would strike the plate, staying against it with burning sizzling hisses. The Lieutentant simply smiled, and with an insane amount of reaction time Kir reached up, he grasped towards the Jedi's comparatively skinny arm.

The armor enhanced strength and speed, he was more than a match for most Jedi's reactions, but just to ensure his success, Kir launched his other hand towards the Jedi's stomach.

A single powerful punch meant to break bone.

As soon as Kir rushed forward, the two squads of guardsmen ceased firing. They looked to Orin for orders, prepared to sacrifice one of their own for the successful elimination of a Jedi if Orin commanded. He didn't command, though. At least, not through speech. When his guardsmen looked over, they saw Orin holding his S-11 in one hand, his other raised and pointing to Flint. The hand was closed, clenched, and with the motion of clenching, a menacing device popped out from under the wrist.

It was a high caliber slugthrower, built directly into the armour.

His guardsmen immediately followed suit, whilst Orin said over their private channel, "Use your HUD to aim properly. Try not to hit the Lieutenant."

And then he and nineteen other guardsmen fired at the Jedi.

"Indeed." he replied to Sidi, stepping backward slightly as a soldier, armed with a Saberstaff headed toward him. With one swift movement, he swiped his blade at his elbow, severing it from the rest of his limb, before stabbing forward. Effectively, he'd caught him off guard, as the idiot had taken the little Zabrak for granted, 'an easy kill', most likely. He chuckled to himself as he watched a Jedi mindlessly swipe his lightsaber at [member="Lieutenant Kir"]. His Padawan was close. His chuckle turned quickly into a grin as he blocked out the battle, locking onto his target. Using the Force to propell his leap, he headed toward [member="Oka Osaa"], standing before him, lightsaber pointed toward his chest. "Surrender." he mockingly ordered, quite aware he wouldn't.

Di looked through the scope while the R-10 chugged along in the fields out front of the Temple. Here and there, more R-10s opened fire and moved along as well, the ground vibrating from grinding treads and pounding guns. As they moved, Di spotted something up ahead at the Temple.

"Oh, hey," he said, his eyes still glued to the scope. "It's one o' them Jedi fellas. There's a couple o' them red armored big guys, too. I think they're having an argument. I know how that feels."

He took in the red armored troopers' for a moment, realizing that the armor itself was huge, bulky, and probably very strong. He also realized that it was huge, bulky, and very easy to hit, too. That, and he doubted they'd taken spalling (high velocity shrapnel created from the inner armor layer caused by a high explosive impact on the outside of the hull) into account. Spall liners were a rare thing outside of tanks, these days.

He gave a quick order and the two ugnaughts began loading the cannon with the High Explosive shell he wanted to fire. They'd been bickering, and were still bickering, but at least they loaded the cannon before devolving into beating on each other with the wrenches both carried.

"Wiittah, listen carefully," Di said to the scrap-obsessed Jawa controlling a canon meant to make more scrap. "We want to hit the red armored guys, not the dude with the glowstick-sword, okay? The big metal armored red dudes have more scrap. You could even make a... I dunno, a little buggy or something. Maybe put another module on your 1/10 scale sandcrawler or something, okay?"

The Jawa chattered a happy response to Di's orders and bounced up and down in the chair a bit before settling in to take the shot, placing the reticle directly over one of the red armored shoulders. Di figured he at least owed the Jedi down there a head's up, so he keyed the Republic comms.

"Hey, Jedi-dude! Front of the temple with the big red dudes! Duck, man!" he called into the comms. A few moment's later, the R-10's cannon opened fire, sending a high explosive shell screaming at the central 'red armored dude'.

Elaine gunship moved into position. It was time her gunship to poop up and kill the republic solider, who where attacking the temple. The sith pilot had moved into position, along contours of the ground using it as cover. No one had seen them yet, he then rose the beast up into the air. The opened fire on republic positions, that could easily be identified by him. All she could see where body being blown apart by the guns, it made feel sick in the stomach. This had to end some how, though she did not know how. The republic lacked the strength of arms, to deal with the sith. It seemed they could be only one winner in the war, and it was not the republic. The silver jedi had abandon them in their hour of need. She was not going abandon the people of alderaan, but she wanted away to stop this war. Though the republic could not do it, may be their was enough force who could. All she had to do was bide her time.

The pilot dropped the gunship back down, before the republic soldiers had time to react to their attack. She felt sick that she was helping them. Though if she did not glitter would eat her.

Even with living for centuries Sosu had avoided Alderaan for the most part hoping to avoid the jedi but as it fell under control of the Sith he felt more free to finally visit the planet which was promptly ruined by the jedi attacking today. When the attack had first started Sosu stood back watching as the jedi and republic landed and rushed the temple with what seemed to be no plan. It was best for him to stay on the outskirts of the battle. That many force users in one place would send him into a feeding frenzy. Even now he felt his hunger growing causing his stomach to growl. Though his concentration was broken as his Force vampire senses told him that there was another force sensitive in the vicinity. He could sense the direction they was in so he set off.

As Sosu neared the position he felt a second presence in the force, with a darker feel to it. It had to be a ally then, that would just make things easier. Sosu knew he wouldn't be able to get the drop on either force sensative due to the way he radiated Dark side energies they would sense him before he got there. Taking the direct approach he finally saw the two coming to a stop before them. One crouched down was a clearly a women and most likely a jedi if Sosu was right, but the other sith he had no clue about. The creature stood at least a foot over Sosu and wore a weird mask. His silverish white hair blowing in the wind Sosu stared down at the women with his scarlet eyes. "Don't worry I'll make your death quick and painful" Sosu said drawing his curved hilt saber from inside his black robes.

Oka had no choice to fight. It didn't bother him but it was disappointing to see the sith north wanting to negotiate. Oka ignited a saber and held it at his safety. He knew this fight would end quickly since [member="Camellia Swift"] and [member="Maria Natalja"] had plans. Oka said as he smiled "What happened to the negotiating type?"

Oka felt surrender wasn't an option. Noticing a gunship about to fire at the entrance of the temple, Oka yelled "[member="Flint Dexen"] get down!". Oka jumped up on the temple roof trying to avoid the gunfire but the power that hit the land below blew him away.

When Oka came conscious, he was laying on the temple roof where he went for safety. He noticed the war was still going on. He wondered if the gunfire shot the two sith, but if it didn't kill Flint.

[member="Ashin Varanin"]

Temple Entrance.

Only a moment it had taken him to distribute the orders to his Apprentices.

When he had turned back, his golden gaze had snapped back towards Ashin Varanin flipping up and over the roof. From that point he backed away from the position he was; back to the Temple itself so that he was much closer to the Temple itself than he had before. So close in act, that if the Jedi Knight wanted to shoot him then it'd be much more difficult to shoot him from over the roof. More like, she'd be forced to have the majority of her upper body leaning over the building to get an accurate shot.

It was interesting to see. It wasn't everyday he saw snipers, especially on the Temple's roof. Not that he ever bothered to look, but still.

The first shot struck his shoulder while he had been only starting the force speed, which forced him to lose his concentration as the bolt itself burned a hole through his cloak and into the Vonduun Crab Armour underneath. It most definitely penetrated the shoulder area on his right arm, but he trucked onwards anyway, and avoided the last two with a dive and finishing with a somersault. From there, he lunged into the threshold of the Temple to prevent Ashin from having line of sight on him anymore.

He glanced to his side to [member="Mala Kulan"], a look of disgust concealed by his durasteel helmet and black cloak that had barely moved throughout the engagement.

"You disappoint me. Go forth and take the life of a Jedi."

The Temple's defense was of the utmost importance, nothing would distract him.

Objective: Experience the battlefield
-------------------------------------------------------------
The Jedi's ability to escape her attackers was praiseworthy, but not something Metus would ever admit to his master or any of the other Sith. Still, he was not going to be able to avoid it for much longer as he was ordered to either defend the temple or hunt down any nearby Jedi. The apprentice slowly rose from the sitting position he had taken while watching things unfold as Sidi appeared before him with words of encouragement for her brothers-in-arms, igniting her lightsaber. He activated his own as well, the weapon forged to seem ordinary but was built with a specific design in mind to follow Metus' code of battle, and moved towards the young looking Jedi male with the rest of them.

While his master moved to fight the agile Jedi above them and the rest of them prepared to overwhelm the separated Oka, the Jedi in question yelled a warning that sent Metus jumping away to the side as well before the enemy attack did its work to the temple and its surroundings. The shockwave was enough to send him flying back and sprawling on the ground, but the apprentice quickly recovered and looked about to either find the Jedi or any of his fellow acolytes in his vicinity...if they survived that last attack anyways. If not, it was simply something else to fuel his own desire to live in spite of the death that surrounded him.

As Metus wandered the damaged battlefield through clouds of knocked up dirt, he stumbled across one such example of death in the form of a friendly soldier who was covering up a stomach wound inflicted by shrapnel. The Sith acolyte silently approached and knelt down next to the dying man, listening to his cries of pain and petitions for mercy. To think that it could be him in this position someday brought fear to Metus' heart, but that brought anger as well as a determination to survive with it. This one was pathetic in his whimpering, and remembering himself being as weak and defenseless was almost maddening to the apprentice.

"Please! H-Help me..."

Metus said nothing as he reached down to the soldier's exposed head with his hand, which then slid down to the throat before wrapping itself around and squeezing as tightly as possible. The poor soldier moved his hands from the bleeding wound to try and remove the one that was crushing his windpipe, but found it to be an impossible task...and soon enough the life slipped away from his body. Metus then stood, experiencing the rush of a kill unlike any he had felt as a simple thug on Coruscant, and then continued to seek out foes to bring them the same peace he had given to the simple soldier. After letting them experience some real fear of course.

As she moved, she suddenly felt a presence drawing near. She skidded to a halt not far away from Nazo, crouching down in such a way that would allow her to spring in any direction at a moments notice. This one didn't move, and didn't speak. It seemed almost curious more than anything. That intrigued her, and she watched him casually, not moving to attack or moving at all, really. She was a Jedi, and she should wait things out. Didn't mean she always would, but this time her curiosity had control of her.

And then another one appeared. This one was much different than the first. Arrogant, mouthy, and egotistical. Prototypical Sith. She didn't like him, and immediately recognized him as the true threat in this instance. Or, rather, the more imminent threat. Mouthy ones were always quick to act.

"Oh look, a Sith that likes to run his mouth. If I didn't know better, I'd say they had a cookie cutter mold for you all. You blend right in. Except for the fact that you're ugly as sin, of course. That makes you stand out."

Two energy blades snapped up and into her hands. She had access to them thanks to her EMBU's. She somewhat manufactured them, after all. Regardless, she didn't yet have a lightsaber, as it was on her and Saki's to do list, so the energy blades would have to do.

"This one and I were having an interesting nonverbal conversation and you interrupted. That's rather rude." She was of course referring to Nazo. "Run along to your master or you might get hurt."

Teria stepped off the drop ship that she'd hitched a ride on. She had two EMBU's flanking her because she was going into a heavy combat zone, and she wanted to ensure the safety of her charge. Of course she hadn't liked letting Niamh run off on her own in the first place, but she couldn't control the woman, and she was technically Niamh's subordinate so she had to do what she was told most of the time.

"EMBU's acquire target Niamh Raste. Search and protect mission."

[Command Accepted. Acquiring target.]

She waited, watching the Republic and Rendili troops as they moved out. There weren't nearly as many Echani as there should have been. The Republic wasn't making good enough use of a valuable resource.

[Target acquired. Proceeding with mission.]

And off they went to find Niamh.

Sosu couldn't contain a laugh as the jedi cast the first insult, and such a simple one at that. "Oh and just like every other jedi you think what you're doing is right and that you have the leeway to do whatever you want?" Sosu questioned her. He didn't hate jedi like other Sith, as a matter of fact he didn't even truly have a quarrel with them. He despised the close minded ones though and she had just worked her way onto that list. Activating his saber the red blade extended from the curved hilt with a hissing sound. "To bad I can't return to my master. I ate him, just like I'm going to do to you." Sosu said as he began the fight with a heavy overhanded strike straight for the women.

Sidi jogged down the steps with a righteous fervour or battle. Chaos ensued all around her as Sith engaged Republic and Rendili troopers. Leave the Sith soldiers to fight the enemy soldiers. The Jedi needed to be killed. Sidi swept her glare over the crowd, spotting Flint Dex taking on a pair of Royal Guards. Sidi snapped her neck back and forth to spy Metus and Mala, she raised her blade in a bid to capture their attention, "Strength in numbers! Take out the Jedi!" she lowered her blade to indicate to Flint. Sidi began forcing her way through the fighting Sith troopers, the odd blaster bolt strafing past her. The Devaronian passed another Zabrak, Salvor, she looked him up and down before meeting his eyes, "Come, we've got Jedi to hunt."

She was not as trained in the way of the lightsaber as others, even in the Force, but that didn't make her any less intelligent. She knew that a Jedi couldn't fight everyone. As long as her brethren stood beside her, they could overwhelm Flint. She stood just outside the range of motion of the two power-suited Royal Guards, avoiding getting stepped on by their bulky suits. She raised both her hands, focusing and concentrating on the cosmic energies of The Force. Telekinesis, a basic ability taught to all Jedi and Sith, but one few ever used with creativity. She held out her hands, drawing together the energies, building it up into an unseen spherical orb above Flint. She lowered her hands, attempting a Force Push from above, and down. An attempt to slam Flint against the ground, rather than away.

Oka didn't get a response from Niamh yet although he had an objective to do. Strafe the forest and take out how ever much of their fleets I can. He jumped in the starfighter and lifted off towards the forest. Based off of his knowledge, many of the sith soldiers were in the forest so bombing it at all costs was his main priority although he knew some of the republic forces were in their. Oka started from the far end and then went up to the part across from the temple so they'd be closed in. "All Republic forces in the area, be aware of a strafe" Oka informed on the com link.
