Di looked through the scope while the R-10 chugged along in the fields out front of the Temple. Here and there, more R-10s opened fire and moved along as well, the ground vibrating from grinding treads and pounding guns. As they moved, Di spotted something up ahead at the Temple.
"Oh, hey," he said, his eyes still glued to the scope. "It's one o' them Jedi fellas. There's a couple o' them red armored big guys, too. I think they're having an argument. I know how that feels."
He took in the red armored troopers' for a moment, realizing that the armor itself was huge, bulky, and probably very strong. He also realized that it was huge, bulky, and very easy to hit, too. That, and he doubted they'd taken spalling (high velocity shrapnel created from the inner armor layer caused by a high explosive impact on the outside of the hull) into account. Spall liners were a rare thing outside of tanks, these days.
He gave a quick order and the two ugnaughts began loading the cannon with the High Explosive shell he wanted to fire. They'd been bickering, and were still bickering, but at least they loaded the cannon before devolving into beating on each other with the wrenches both carried.
"Wiittah, listen carefully," Di said to the scrap-obsessed Jawa controlling a canon meant to make more scrap. "We want to hit the red armored guys, not the dude with the glowstick-sword, okay? The big metal armored red dudes have more scrap. You could even make a... I dunno, a little buggy or something. Maybe put another module on your 1/10 scale sandcrawler or something, okay?"
The Jawa chattered a happy response to Di's orders and bounced up and down in the chair a bit before settling in to take the shot, placing the reticle directly over one of the red armored shoulders. Di figured he at least owed the Jedi down there a head's up, so he keyed the Republic comms.
"Hey, Jedi-dude! Front of the temple with the big red dudes! Duck, man!" he called into the comms. A few moment's later, the R-10's cannon opened fire, sending a high explosive shell screaming at the central 'red armored dude'.
