Oh yes the relaxing teas they would and could have to offer as she was looking over some of the things with attention on all of it. The jedi master making sure the times were good and everything was ready while she looked at some of the things there. Cleaning up with the hand soaps that were travel size. They also smelled amazing while she finished up and getting to go to the massive things they had worked on. The locals they were meeting were here but it wasn't time for business and they were moving over a few of the things getting her own attention on all of it. "Oh these are amazing." She was looking at the flowers being grown and all of the smells that were there before the chairs for them to eat were there in the garden. A small pond with a waterfall making it somewhat more tranquil as she sat down enjoying the sights.

Kay followed Matsu to the garden eating area. The fragrance was beautiful and not overpowering at all. That made it perfect for when it came to eating.

She sat down and of course the first thing that she ordered was tea. It wasn't Sapir tea though. Instead she had ordered a kind of tea that she had never heard of before; Quuri tea. As she waited she looked through the menu again and picked out a couple of platters. One was filled with a variety of meats, while the other contained a variety of vegetables. Kay smiled in greeting to the locals when they caught her eyes.

Looking at the menu with a nod of her head while she looked at the teas they were offering. A small look while she got some of the atrisian styles they offered but also some caf that she could slowly sip but was specially made. Looking at the locals and at the rest of the things before she was taking in her time with Kay as a friend. They could do a whole lot of things but she was not to worried about it when the food arrived and she picked up a few slices loading them between some bread and cheese. Hmm delicious while she chewed it quietly taking a sip before she looked over letting her hair dangle back a little over the chair. She found some comfort in all of the things. "Hmm this is tasty."

Once she got her tea, Kay took a small sip of it. The taste was strong, but almost dry, like the climate. But it didn't leave one feeling parched at all.

As the platters arrived, she took a sample from each and started to eat. It was of course very lovely, with textures that she hadn't been accustomed to. She looked to Matsu and nodded at her comment. "I agree. It's very good. Quite filling too. I suppose it's the hot weather. That always tends to shrink my appetite."

Looking at her with a nod of her head, the weather could do that and that was why she had the anklet for the hot and cold weather. She was looking over many of the things. "Hot weather is something good for stopping the mood but oh there is something nice when you are in the desert at that right moment. When it is cool but still warm that you can enjoy it. We made the circlets to regulate the body as well as some other stuff." She was eating and drinking some of the tea for herself when it arrived while looking over all of the things and the sky above was bright. blue with no clouds."

Kay nodded, having a bit more of the tea as well as sampling more from the platters. She preferred cooler weather and of course she loved snow. Not enough to live on an ice planet, mind you, but enough to visit one from time to time.

"Those circlets would be useful to those that can't adjust to certain climates. I have heard of some species that if it's too hot or too cold, their bodies can't handle the shock from it, so they die."

"Yes there is a couple of species like that and it can be dangerous but they are usually some of the best for the technology to regulate their bodies be it cooling or heating suit... or just full bodysuits they can wear. I know a couple of species that specialize in modifications and slicing that allows them to have the needed parts." Her biotech company was working on things like that to allow for some species but it wasn't exactly an easy thing it could be years before they really got a viable piece of tech and she knew there would be a whole lot of dead ends. Sometimes this was much easier, make a deal and work on things.

Kay grinned. "Yes, they could use those or just not travel at all." She sipped her tea and contemplated on that thought. Would she ever be able to stick around to one place and not travel? "I wonder if I'll ever stop travelling. It's hard to say if I'll ever find a place that feels lime home. Sure I love visiting certain worlds, but I'm not sure if I could live in either of them full time. I might just get too antsy."

Matsu was looking at her with a raised eyebrow. "Well just make a ship your home, get it built perfectly to your specifications and travel all you want, have it able to dock. Then you can live in one place with a constantly changing view." She said it taking a ship and had worked on a couple of homes that were ships. With all of the technology that Sasori was making a self sustaining home ship was easy enough to produce. Repair droids, food converters and scrubbers plus a couple defenses to protect you from pirates. "We can even make it with some of the finest products from Sasori and Phenex"

Kay tilted her head to the side a bit as she thought about it. Living on a ship and just going wherever she liked? Hmmm. "That's not a bad idea. And then if there is such a thing, I'd use a holo-projector to make the ship appear as a house, hiding it in plain sight." With bounties having been previously on her head, that might not be such a bad idea. She took another sip of her tea. "Yeah, I think that'll work for me. Thank you for the idea."

"You are welcome." And there was a chance that Sasori could construct it for her while she was working on some of the things and eating one fo the platters while she pulled up a a datapad showing the map of the facility. "We pre-constructed it and are basically burying it in the desert. Extractors and sections where it presents as a moisture farm up on top. The water comes down and stores in the base allowing plenty of self sustaining ability for the organic staff. There will be a lot of droids to help and get things as well as access to the AI we have been working with."

Kay looked at the readouts on the datapad and listened to what Matsu had to say. It was all so very impressive. "You are building this now? And then you'll bury it near here? I suppose that that would be easier than building from underground. Water was something that she assumed was highly valuable on a world like this. But she could always be wrong. Everyone seemed to be doing well here. "It all sounds as though you have everything all set. You work so efficiently and that is never a bad thing."

"Yes we get it built first with a chance to expand it if we need it but the thing isn't that big or need to be. We've streamlined our labs and warehouses with ways to rapidly deploy and construct them." It also helped that they knew how to work on just about everything with self sustaining equipment. "The soil has traces of the wintrium in it and we are analyzing it, with our production technology we are able to trade them water creation tech to help them. Food production we have given them as well, we will be able to with essentials get some of the things we want to work with." That helped, food and water production on a world like this, they knew easily how to do such things but welcomed new developments that were fairly low tech approaches.

Food and more importantly, water was sure to be a valuable thing on this planet. Moisture farms were abundant, but if they had a different way to gather water, then the people could do other things to spur their economy. Their creativity and artistry of their carvings and architecture was amazing to behold. Even their technologies was unique in their own way, yet not at all worthless.

Matsu's descriptions of how the labs and such were to be set underground was amazing as well. "I'm glad that it's all being so well received and that the right permits have been granted. Have you faced much opposition on this?"

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
[member="Lady Kay"]

"There is always going to be opposition on things like this. You can't please everyone in a situation but many have seen the benefits and given we aren't strip mining the world but using it in a way that will be less exploitive then some others. We have made people happy, having the labs be underground and out of site as well helps with things since it can respect their culture as well as the major rules of it all but still give us a chance to work with some of the things." THe jedi master had no doubt of the danger and problems that could arise from it but there wa also the major benefits of it all. A chance to write the book on a substance in the galaxy few knew about and few really understood so it could hopefully be respected and not destroyed or taken.... Plus taking from the old parts of it that no one can see anymore would allow it to continue going on how it is.

Strip mining the world would be far worse. That was something that the Techno Union, Sith or Mandos would do. Yet Matsu's company was far removed from all if that. She cared about the places that her company worked, as well as the people that called those worlds home. She did her best always, and it has worked in her favour.

Kay sipped her tea, glad that there were some good people in the Galaxy that didn't think mostly just about themselves. "How long will it take before the labs are finished and underground?"

Thinking about it. "Building the lab is easy we have gotten them down to a prefabricated table table where it is mostly just assemble and connect. A few hours, the hole for it to go underground from the ship is being dug as we speak with excavation machines at the same time." She wasn't on for well stalling, build the lab and build the hole to put it in at the same time. Reduced the time and they were using the droids that Sasori used for the construction projects it would all come out good she was hoping. "All and all it should take four hours to have everything done at the speed the droids work and that includes burying it with the entrance on the surface."

Kay's jaw dropped open a little. She was in shock that the installing of such an underground lab was done in so little time. "Four hours? Is that all?" She took a sip of her tea, enjoying the difference in taste compared to her usual flavour. "Could we have a tour when it's finished, please?" It was just something that she had to see with her own eyes.

Matsu looked at er surprise with a little of her own. "We've gotten it down to a science almost and know how to make the bases with all the parts quickly. It allows us to get in and begin operating overnight instead of making a large and visible venture. When your company is all about research into exotic things that can be one of the best benefits you will be able to get." There was also the surprise factor as those who were on some worlds didn't know what to do afterwards and if they got it hidden it allowed them to operate the self sustaining bases quietly off the grid. "A tour will be alright, you can see some of our nice new things in action. We've been working on modules to aid and keep it self sustaining."

"That would be wonderful, thank you." If she was able to get a better understanding of how it all worked after it was finished, then she could send more business her way. There were plenty of worlds that hated disruption to their lands. This could prove to be a revolution when it came to such big projects.

Kay had another sip of her tea, nearly finished the cup. "I should purchase some of these tea leaves as well before we head back."
