Oh yes, get some of the tea for it and they could work with that as she was going over some more of the things. "We have everything we need mostly, we have a few other special things we are working on." They were always happy to show people around so they got a better idea of how everything worked and even looked compared to some of the other businesses. Really aside from the super secret projects matsu was happy to show things... except she was usually open about those projects with people who were always there to help her like Kay. "Once we are done here we can head out and see it. The things should be in the ground and with the officials we'll be able to work on some of the talks there in our private conference room."

Of course it would have a private conference room. Why wouldn't it? Kay wouldn't of thought of building one, however. She didn't have a strategic mind and couldn't guess on what people would do. Even the Force couldn't help her with that. She'd not trust that whatever she foresaw wasn't her imagination. So many times she had been wrong about people and situations. "I'm sure that those officials will be in just as much awe of the place as I will be. Just the fact that it can be created and inserted inserted underground in such a short time is an amazing feat in and of itself."

"Well that is the hope, we are working with them on it and making progress in the galaxy without the nasty side effects of well taking everything. It will also give those on the planet a chance to get more with the galactic community, I didn't grow up on a desert planet but there isn't a lot of options from what I have read. Sasori is giving them a chance to work and make some wages or get off world and find something maybe expand Klatooine into a colony that can explore the galaxy and really get to see it." All those thing as she was finishing up and almost ready to head out with the senator when the time came.

Kay nodded once more as she listened, wondering just how often the inhabitants here had ever left their world. Some people weren't big on travelling like she was. For some, their home worlds were big enough. But there was sure to be others that dared to dream and see what awaited them on the furthest reaches of space.

"You do a lot of great service for them, especially as you let them work instead of just relying on your own employees."

"Well my employee's are skilled and go to what we built as one of the best training centers. Several throughout the galaxy but moving them around only goes so well. We want to hire locally so we can make everyone happy and you give people a piece of a pie they will be more happy then if they just get to watch others enjoying it. With our pricing we make a lot more business then some of the larger companies I have noticed. We won't charge them a black market organ's price for a fairly small ship... and we control or better oversee the invisible market. Those people are so careful and wanting that well it is a great way to find the rarest of resources."

"Having full and open disclosure for them helps as well. Most companies won't do that, but that's where your company shines above the rest."

Kay set down her cup and then got to her feet, stretching out a little. "Shall we see if they are ready?"

That was high praise for her, she had always strived to well be open and honest about what Sasori did and keep its special projects generally something people could see with the right access. Changing the galaxy was an important task but they went for it while she rose up ready. "Yes we should go and check." She slipped the datapad out and there was the progress report from the droids as she arraigned with the others what they should go and do. She was getting the transport out to the site for them while the locals made a small scene of getting what they could. Credits for the food and the bays where they were making food from Sasori showing how much extra they could make because of how much space it saved with several rows. They could fit a field in a fraction the space. The other droids and workers were around helping them and showing where they could use the water systems and set it up to produce the most water.

Kay walked with Matsu and took everything in. Some people didn't like lots of activity or hustle and bustle, but she did. As much as she enjoyed tranquillity, there was also something comforting about a lot of activity. People were working, having a purpose, and it wasn't to fight any battles. It was to better themselves, to help themselves. And there was nothing wrong with that. She smiled and greeted each of the locals that she passed, answering any of their questions about herself and the Republic, and of course of her friendship with Matsu.

((Got to sneak in a post for you ;) ))

Matsu was leading the way and letting some of it go while she turned her attention over some of the things. Attention to the smaller details while she was talking with the others until moving towards the research base. There was some attention on the distance when they finally arrived, the box leading to the lift down filled as she spoke. "Thank you for this again ambassador, the senator here is helpful and amazing." The being looked at the two of them and stayed stiff and calm while she was moving with some of the attention on the different things. All of the work they had been doing to build it up well was working on the more important parts. She could see the screens were being hooked up to show everything as arriving down there more of the researchers were set up with the robes and armor the crystalline was being applied to. Designs for the mesh weave that was going to be made for it.

The whole structure was coming along nicely and everyone seemed to be working so well together. It was like a well oiled machine and that was a good sign. Kay made her way over to the design section for the robes and armour, wondering how the weaving process was done. The detailing required was delicate and intricate, but was sure to hold. She could use such a jumpsuit on her slave rescue missions to protect her from harm. Most of her enemies were stronger and better armed than she was.

Matsu looked at Kay and motioned her over as she opened the one door, the spindle was there and the loom for weaving but also the maturation chamber. "It is done like this." They didn't have the material yet but she could demo it with what they did have the very fine very nice kinetic weave for equipment. "It starts here with the spindle, motorized from ancient designs." Matsu sat down as she was at it and turned on the large wheel with the area feeding into it while she held up the golden flexible metal and started feeding it into the machine. The box it was going in processing it and sending as she fed more and more into it the weave into a coil that was wrapped around the head of the pin. "The meterial is fed into the processor at the bottom and spun into very thin threads of weave, then wrapped around the coil which is taken to the loom and set up with several of them for use in weaving it together into the other materials."

More amazement. Kay just stood there and watched, taking the whole process in. It sure seemed like ancient technology was meeting with new. The spindle and wheel were almost mesmerizing to watch. She could imagine videos of it popping up on the holo-net, but surely Matsu would want to keep it all a secret. Otherwise everyone would have them. There were probably a lot of competitors that would love to get a hand on some of Matsu's secrets. "Incredible. Almost beautiful, actually."

She was beaming a little. "Well we try, the machines we have made to lower the cost of materials work well for many of the different things. We'll be able to add some of it to the new designs we are always working to get what we can." She was looking at some of the things as the droids continued and finsihed up some of the sections. The displays showing where they were meeting and tapping into the old layers of the fountain. others with small basins to work and collect some of the newer layers. They were scanning and shaving off the smallest parts of it to really start to understand it while the small basins were being rbought in and the crystal like liquid made to coat the weave as it was going through some of the spindle and machines.

Kay watched as the liquid was skimmed from the top like milk and added to the material almost like a dye. It was neat to see, especially knowing that she was one of the first to see this new process. So this is what it was like to be a scientist? Maybe in another life she would have done such things. But her path lay elsewhere and she was too stubborn, too set in her ways to change it.

Matsu stayed there as the process continued and was getting worked on, going over some of the things on the display with her full attention through it. Fibers and weaves of the loom showing in the first suit while the computer constructed everything they needed to work with. "It is a very nice process we have been able to work with, some of the larger things they could work with. We'll be able as time goes on get the other machines hooked up and the full station completed. As a lab it will research and try different versions of how to use the wintrium to try and better improve clothing or armor. With the right set up for it will will be able to make saber and blaster resistant clothing to prevent and protect from assassination attempts."

Kay nodded as she thought of the different uses that such a material could have. "How good do you think it would be in different environments? You'll have to have it tested to see how it reacts to cold, heat and different levels of humidity. Also various levels of air and water pressures." Maybe some of Matsu's scientific mind was rubbing off on her a bit? Perhaps...

"Yes we will in time, it is not a great thing but it can work on many things so far. We've studied a little of it over the years but now we can really work on many more of the things there." She gave some attention to lot of the displays showing the plans more so with the different construction droids setting things up. "Given how strong it can come it should easily be able to handle high pressures. That is the theory and reentry heats as well." She offered a room for Kay that had some displays of robes and armor. "What we are hoping to add the meshwork to, robes so that it will be tested and seen if clothing can handle it. Full protection and everything you could need we will be working on some of the other things to armor."

Kay followed along. Yes there were still many tests to be done. She was jumping ahead of herself and should let them do their work without poking her nose in and telling them how to do their job. She was the guest afterall. But it sounded good, regardless.

She walked over to the displays and studied them, taking a look at the armour and robes. There was a great many people that could use them. But then Kay wondered about such things flooding the market. If everyone had them, then their enemies would have to switch tactics and use far more dangerous methods to attack them. Hmm. Food for thought.

She was looking at Kay as the woman seemed to be thinking of something. "You have something on your mind don't you?" She said it more as a question and was wondering about it. She wanted to see what the woman thought or if she had any of the really good ideas. THe jedi master remained there watching some of it clasping her hands behind her back and she was prepared for what they wanted to do. Showing the beginnings of the first mesh in the loom while it was going under the artificial ager.

Kay looked over to Matsu, a little surprised as she was lost in her thoughts. "I was just thinking about the quantity of these armour and robes being made. How many will be available? If there's too many, then those fighting against them could develop even stronger lethal forces to counteract it. Something to think about..."
