Odd question : Still working on my dev threads for my mining company. Said company is going to deal with deep sea mining and I have mentioned a undersea facility. Judah may be now working to bring these facilities to another planet.

Do I need a tech sub for this? Lets say I want to do one, which template do I choose?

This is the first "do I need to" question that I am legitimately proud to say "no" to.

No, you do not need to do a Factory submission for your mining facilities. If you want to, that is entirely alright. I'd personally love to see some tech in here that isn't an explicit attempt to stamp your name on PvP gear. A mining facility is the kind of tech I'd like to see a lot more of, simply because it's not the kind of thing we would require a submission for.

Your mining facility, as long as you're not using it to gain power over other characters, is 100% plot. This is the very essence of the Factory, and if the site were perfect, more than half of our tech would be stuff like this. It's not necessary to do a submission for it, it gives you no power, and it is 100% story fluff. If you don't want to make a submission, don't squander your time on it.

If you do want to make a submission, I will review it with the utmost personal pleasure. ^_^

I do want to make a submission! Found a spiffy little image and everything. Now what type of format do I use? Should I hybrid one? I have made a submission for an orbital station before. Perhaps I could tweak that template to fit such a thing? Or do you have a suggestion or a list of items you desire to be listed.

If it's a land-based facility, it'd probably go in the standard tech forum. If it's a space station (which sounds silly for a mining vessel) it would go in the starship forum. Anything techie that isn't capable of interstellar travel goes in the tech forum.

So thanks to @[member="Kitt Solo"] in the invasion of Atrisia I got thrown from the Imperial tower and am now being processed to ascend into a droid by Moira. Can I use this to get a cortosis arm on my new HRD body under the skin?

For stealth recon ships, is it a blanket dev thread requirement for all stealth systems? Or is there exceptions. Here is my example. No cloak or modulator but it has some tech on it.

One question, It is about Ultrachrome, Since it is sometimes used on ships (says so in Canon) Is is possible to just "mine it" from ships that are crashed or broken down in asteroids, or is that not allowed?

I'm asking because the asteroids that the Val'kar live on, was a ship graveyard, so there is a chance for some ship to be there with ultrachrome. If a ship was floating in space for 800+ years, and then crashed into one of them, the Val'kar use those materials as scrap for their homes, and breathable air. I was just wondering, Is it allowed to Harvest a ship of Ultrachrome, and still it be considered mining?
