The Gutkurrs were approaching but Konrad was ready, on his signal, the men opened fire with several of the men concentrating fire on a single creature. Three of the twentyish that was rapidly approaching fell to the attack. However many still remained. The Konrad and his men subdued a few more but around fifteen more were still approaching them.
The privates fought off the urge to run away from the oncoming creatures in fear of what Konrad would do to them if they did not stand their ground.
“Draw your swords or lightsabers.” Konrad commanded the men. “Aim for their legs, and their arms. Their shell may be too hard to penetrate but at least these creatures will become immobile without arms or legs.
With a wave of his arm, Konrad used the force to stumble a few of those creatures making the task of immobilizing them much easier. The soldiers fought off the Gutkurrs and within an hour they were all limbless. While Die Jager suffered only minor injuries, one of the privates was dead, two were severely wounded and the rest suffered moderate injurise. “Useless,” Konrad muttered as he walked past the privates with his unit following behind him.
Konrad approached the damaged shuttle and peered through the hole to see General Isamu Baelor, another man and a shark like creature. Ignoring the other two, Konrad approached the general.
“General Baelor, we have come to rescue you and return you to the military.” Konrad offered General Baelor his hand.
