So two things, do you have a roleplay thread available where Sanya switches everything back to a monarchy from a dictatorship and then what sort of monarchy has she created? Absolute? Parliamentary? Theocratic?

[member="Sanya Val Swift"]

Have you done any thread where a law or edict was passed that would change the government or is this spurred by an OOC desire to switch? And by old UK style, are you referring to an absolute monarchy or one where the various Lords and Ladies and other major landholders decided on who was king or queen in parliament (meaning they would either accept the heir or produce another claimant)

Mixture of nobility from other worlds.

Eg. Me (sekalus) and camellia (rendili)

But I'm in the middle of working out a sort of Parliament type think to a certain level. Also most my threads I've done on sekalus has been referenced to my leadership as quee of the world in some way. Big or small.

I was told by Val to have it as dictatorship at first till a actually realized it should have been monarchy. (Was going to have it as a diplomatic world when I first had it up.)

[member="Sanya Val Swift"]

That's all well and good that most of your threads have mentioned you are Queen of the planet, but have you actually done a thread where you begin shifting the government to the new model yet? Also, I'm curious why other worlds would get involved on the planetary level of government, and yes I know both characters are married IC, but why would Rendili nobles care about Sekalus when it is on the other side of the galaxy from them and they are under the control of the One Sith and not really have a chance to travel back and forth to a world that is known to harbor anti-Sith sentiment?

The swap to sanya taking monarchy was immediate from the (semi)regicide. That was in dev part 1. Then much later a trade/treaty was done along with the approval for the Libita. http://starwarsrp.net/topic/83316-hearing-authorization-of-the-libita/
Also icly cam governs rendili and we icly met when OOTBR was around. Also even though rendili is os control she has facilities and other stuff closer to sekalus to where she builds for the republic still.

Not sure if that helps. Also if you want we can take this discussion pm so we don't clutter the modification and ping people notifications.

I need a thread, linked here, that shows you are transitioning the government to this type of monarchy. If not, a 10 to 20 post thread detailing the governmental shift from absolute control to a nobility system is needed.

Culture: Culturally speaking they are similar to many individual planets. They have several levels in their social caste, starting with H-LOVE (High-Lords of Valhalla Elected), HOS (Heads of State), and the CON (Church of Nero). Any members of these ranks hold the utmost respect and adoration from any and all people of Valhalla. At the head of this rank, with the astounding position of leader of all three orders, is the High Master. This rank however has not been taken since a few centuries after the planet's culturization, being the prophesized leader of the High Lords.

Next comes the Warrior rank. That's any of the HERO class, Knight class, and Demi-God class. These hold near the same respect as their predecessors, but not as such. They are considered defenders, people set about to protect any and all that are on the planet. Almost as if the planet's police, which it does not have.

Finally is the business class, which is any other being that is on planet. They are broken down further, those with wealth have a better status those without less. But they still work in the same fashions as the other classes.

Surprisingly, the majority of Gender on planet is male, making the police and warrior caste a rather massive one. As well, their army is already a massive beast on it's own, covering nearly 75% mandated for each species.

All show each other respect, to severe a disrespect can result in any of numerous punishments, including battling a Demi-God to the death (if the accused wins, they take the Demi-God title and are elevated.). The sole common ground between any and all, lies in devotion to the Gods.

Technology: Their technologies rival the average planets. They aren't the brightest of species nor the dullest.

History: It's said that from the mountains of Olympus sprung life on the planet, nearly 200 million years ago. Those alive presently, retell the stories of origin starting with Serizuto and Nero growing bored with their singularity. Thusly, on a whim, they created the vast cosmos and everything in it. Some plans they mad were to let planets develop over time so to allow their individual species to become the best they could be. But along with other planets and life forms, Nero desired others of their own power. So he tried his hand at immortals and created nearly a hundred Gods. But the most power stayed with himself and Serizuto, Gorna, Messs, Portiash, Vortaia, Nexus, and Jamak. And these beings would go on to form the council of the gods, the ruling body of the universe for millennia.

However not all went as planned, unbeknownst to them as they lived on their own planet and left the vast majority to themselves, the Sith were growing in power. And soon a massive war started, long before any recorded history. It went on for nearly 100 million years, and during this it resulted in many of the powerful force anamalies such as the caves of Dagobah. The sheer power of such a war, it nearly destroyed all of existence. Even getting near the destruction of life, the Sith would not relent.

So the many gods combined their power, choosing to give their own lives to save the many. With one final attack, they nearly decimated the whole of the Sith. It would take them many millenia to become even similar to what they had been. But in saving the galaxies, they lost the greatest weapons it held. But thanks to the prophesized return, made by Serizuto on his last breath, the people of Valhalla rejoiced and lived prosperously.

Life went on for millennium, the people coming and going but eternally waiting for their gods to come back. Finally though they are open to the galactic populace once again, surprised to find the astounding growth of the people beyond their own skylines. However just as such the galaxies were astounded by the lush beauty that was preserved all through out the planet, for over the centuries, Valhalla had developed into an ecumenopolis, with a total of 1,987 levels of city built up from the crust by the time of the Clone Wars. Many levels housing millions of forms of life, from animals to foliage. Though many of the people and species of the planet had been and are omnivorous, the people always did their best to keep species alive and thriving. The planet could be viewed by many as a the closest you can get to a utopia.

But though it has it's appearance, it isn't a golden place to live. For many decades a plague wracked the planet, taking every species save humans. But even a planet wide virus was not enough to defeat those of Valhalla. Just as every war ever fought as ended in stand offs, no one side of war being a victor, as none of the planet are willing to give in and back down. And though there has been a few wars since time memorial, their numbers have barely broken double digits, but the death tolls for each are far into the millions.

Intent: To create a hidden location for the Medical Corp to operate

Classification: Converted Academy

Location: Odacer-Faustin

Affiliation: One Sith

Description:
The Crags: The area around the academy that were created as a waterless moat. With jagged rocks jutting out that would handle things falling over and provide a deep ravine for a first layer of protection against the sickness.

The Dorms: Converted for use by the stormtroopers and staff to use. Defensive autoturrets and precautions are set up to protect from an outbreak with biometric sensors at the doors and filters for the air supply.

The Library: The ancient and burned library has proven unusable for recovering scrolls or texts but once the rotted wooden body was removed and it was secured a large staging area for administration and processing.

Ritual Chamber: Uncovered from within the library and used to create a pit. The screams of victims and prisoners who are kept there to be used in things coming up from the air shafts.

Paddocks: The ancient animal paddocks that housed at one point tauntauns and have been converts. With equipment for monitoring the academy internal network and outside sensors.

The Cradle: The Roanoke cradle, a shell of steel and exposed electronics that keeps their prisoner ship. The towers on the top of the cradle being able to be defended with droids and auto turrets.

Landing Pad: The main entrance to the academy and base cleaned off and made for shuttles and personal ships to land. Defensive autoturrets ready and able to defend on the area as it goes towards the large staircase.

The Wall: Built on the edge of the academy and creating another additional layer of protection. The wall reaches twenty feet high and has towers interspaced with monitors and sensors to track movement inside and outside.

Central tower: The ruined tower has been cleaned away, the ruins and death it brought not forgotten but immortalized in a statue of a sith lord who hold four faces on his head. One displaying Darth Drear, the second displaying Darth Scaborous and the third displaying Seras before she had her life preservation suit. The fourth face is a mirror that looks down upon each sith who comes as a sort of motivational incentive that they can be added to such a thing.

History:
Built one thousand years before the Galactic Cold war. Darth Drear used the structure to discover the secrets of immortality through the use of the murakama orchid. A flower with both sentience and force sensitivity that when tinkered with sith alchemy created a ravenous hive minded infection that could spread across all species and sought to devour the galaxy. His ritual was never completed or rediscovered until Darth Scaborous found the chamber and continued to ritual with a jedi.

After the fall of the academy the world was blocked off, the danger of spreading the virus more or less a universally agreed upon bad move. That wouldn't stop graverobbers seeking secret sith treasure after a thousand years or so. Also a possibility of course and the stray sith or jedi seeking information for what really happened. The harsh snowy terrain proving a dangerous place until thousands of years later Seras arrived with a plan for the ancient academy.

With it still standing and what information they could get on its layout she decided to create it more like an underwater or space base on a planet. Working to make each section its own contained area with biometrics and scrubbers to detect signs of the virus or other infections. They began to slow process pretending to be a repair crew fixing the damaged quarantine beacon to keep people away. After of course sabotaging it to lure three jedi to the world.

She needed someone to play distraction while her people worked to slowly dig and set charges. Working to cut into the mountain around them and severs the academy from the range they were on through what she planned to become the crags. The rooms getting a thick heavy turadium blast door sealed with a biometric scanner to detect signs of the infection and ensure no one infected is admitted into the areas they have been and begun to fix up.

Filters and bioscanners in the ventilation systems allowing clean air to pump and be recycled within the network as they built it. Defense turrets deployed in every room in case of breach or outbreak. Flametroopers working to purge each section before construction droids are sent in to put up and reinforce with floor and wall bolts the blast doors. Remote droids to scout through the vents and watch for dangers or seal them off.

Slowly as the sith construction droids moved through the crags and wall were created to seal the academy off and snow was moved and set into filters to be melted down for a small supply of water that could be recycled for use with the prisoners. The ancient entry arch was kept with a new inscription being added upon it as they worked to make the ground safe for some use. Aside from infected there would become the need to deal with graverobbers.

That came with some small concealable automated anti air turrets that could be placed around and target anything coming to explore the academy that wasn't authorized. The research base was to be a secret and as far as the galaxy was concern the only thing on the world was death and sickness. Seras sought to keep this illusion with only a plasma bridge to connect the base to the rest of the world and to easily secure it. The controls within the insulated rooms on the lower rung.

As the Black Rose grew and developed under Venefica the research done at Al-Khali continued, Seras Goto's offices compared to others allowed it to remain isolated away from the others in the galaxy. Despite what was around the galaxy and around the facility she was able to keep it with Venefica by getting closer to the sith lord. Transferring soldiers as the Black Rose seemed to go into an identity crisis with Sanya trying to make the darksiders into lightsiders and Seras retreated back to Al-Khali.

Her seclusion with what soldiers she could get when they fell. Gathering one of the mobile labs Sanya developed for them to use on the world. The massive academy that had been converted going dark as far as communications were determined and staying out of the visble need. Seras could continue to work on the world in peace away from prying eyes. Most of the experimentation coming from it on what they could find with the doctor using her skilled members who had some extra protection from the remnants of black rose soldiers.

I have reviewed the original sub and judgement passed by [member="Valiens Nantaris"] concerning the population.

Though 3 years of RP use is certainly an accomplishment, I do not feel that the IC time covered and circumstances surrounding its use warrants the amount of increase you've requested. You've gone from 20billion to 47.3billion. That's more than double. I think you underestimate just how much a billion of anything really is and I'm not entirely sure the reasoning behind needing such a massive population. If you could please enlighten me to the thought process behind this...

That's actually a typo. I guess I must have posted that without proofing it. It was supposed to be a raise to 36.2. I remember when I thought of it I did a math comment, 3 goes into 6, 2 times.

Any way, growth in this universe does not always seem noted. I wanted it to be so. From the get go. As is, I would request a continued raise every week if say a dozen threads equated a set amount. Because I have always, as said about the get go, wanted this to be a Coruscant of a different ilk.

Is it necessary for the growth to be documented? I don't think so, but it has been noted by several other writers during the time since it was approved, that they brought massive numbers of denizens. One was around a billion they said, to work their companies, and mine (Phrik)

Its not just me that has made the growth is the point I guess. Several writers have taken the time to help Val'hala grow, and I feel the growth is healthy.

On the doubling note, I do realize this, but want to point out, its been 3 years with only a single edit request - that's why. Bundling all the growth I can remember, into one.

We also must take into account the board wide events that would have greatly affected population. Namely: the Netherworld event.

I also have a hard time putting reliable weight into anyone that says they employ a billion people for their companies. That would require a Tier 7 company to support at the very least, and I am 100% sure that the aforementioned companies aren't at that Tier (because that Tier doesn't exist). If you can provide evidence of high-tiered companies that could feasibly employ a billion people all together, I'll reconsider that front of development.

I digress. 36.2 is still high, but more manageable than double. The changes will be made.

Affiliation: Lord Ajihad
Availability: Unique
Type: Recon, Infantry, Black Ops
Strength: 10,000
Description: The Imperial Galactic Marines were a special operations unit of the clone troopers, led by Marshal Bacara. They killed Ki-Adi-Mundi during Order 66. Vi'kas came across stories of them in an old text he was reading, and was immediately captivated by it. He began to research them further, and enjoyed to stories of what the unit had done. He went to Coruscant for some training a few weeks later. While he was there, he put out an order for the best of the best. He took them, and shaped them into deadly weapons. Unsurprisingly, he named this elite fighting force after the original Marines. After hearing stories of these elite fighters, Vi'kas found it unacceptable that they were no longer around. He then named the unit he was creating after these commandos, and ordered their standard-issue armor to yet again be produced, exclusively for them. Therefore, the legendary Galactic Marines were reborn.
