Oh the humanity indeed! She laughed a little as he seemed to have gone back to...well, the Solan that she knew. She stopped him when they reached his room and then guided him inside.

"I don't know what I'll do." Wanting to keep the conversation light and carefree she added, "Maybe I'll find myself another transport and see where it crashes this time."

Oh the humanity indeed! She laughed a little, glad that he was back to...well, the Solan that she knew anyways. Once they were at his room again she stopped him and guided him inside. Kay then began preparing the tea, sitting in the chair out of habit as she wasn't ready for bed just yet. They still had to have dinner. As she divided up some dried meat, she answered his question, trying to keep it lighthearted and carefree. "I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe I'll buy passage on another transport and see where it crashes." She grinned. In truth she had no idea what she was going to do or where she'll go. She hadn't thought that far ahead.

Now she was getting it. He smiled as she responded in kind, laughing a little as he replied. "Try crashing into a beach this time, or atleast not a frozen wasteland or a blazing desert." His smile remained as he looked at her and just sat back whIle sitting on the ground. His hands moved around the pot, simply hovering in the air around it as he breathed in. For a moment though his aura seemed to shift towards the lighter spectrum before being consumed by dark again. His skin paled, eyes a deep amber color, and his breath lost to the world whIle he sat there. His aura even wrapping around the pot as he heated it.

She laughed a little more,"Yes I'll have to plan it out better and make sure that there's plenty of food and entertainment, maybe crash on a resort that I don't have to pay for."

As Solan started to heat up the kettle she watched him. It was an odd thing to watch, and she could see the Darkness moving around as he manipulated it. Kay imagined how it would look to someone waking up and seeing him standing over them like that as he was healing them. That would be scary. But it also made her wonder what she looked like while she was healing someone.

After he was finished, she poured the tea into the cups and took her first sip. Tea made almost everything right. And Solan was correct, she did have a bit of an addiction to it, but there were far worse things than tea. It was certainly nothing that needed to be changed about her though, in her opinion. "I imagine that you'll go home and look for your daughter. I'm sure she misses you a lot."

"Try some place like Naboo, you could drop by and say hello to the queen, shes an old friend of mine and the person that taught me what i know about healing... granted its no where on par with what you have done but it is what it is." He smiled at her up until she mentioned Evania. Almost in a flash second his eyes dulled and he looked at the ground as he simply held the cup.

"I fear that if im not fast enough something could happen... i have alot of enemies, you tend to create a few when you commit a active of rebellion and regicide. I mean she has protectors... very good ones, but i don't want her to be harmed at all and i just don't trust anyone to not cause her harm except a few... if only i could get a message out to her, or Taeli or someone..."

He leaned forward as his aura began to envelope him completely now, the fear of what could happen getting worse as he sat there. He didn't mean to let it do so. He just simply could not keep a cap on the thoughts that ran through his mind right now.

Kay felt a little bad for bringing his daughter up. She reached over and squeezed his shoulder a little. "I'm going to give you the same advice that you gave me earlier. Try not to worry about it. We have power. We'll be able to work on the transmitter together and the first message we send off will be for her, okay? We've done so well already."

She got up from the chair and offered it to him before sitting on the bed. She sipped her tea and then withdrew the dried meat, handing it to him. "I wanted to wait until later, but I found a crate with some food. It must be the crews emergency supply. Once we're able to have a fire, we can have a proper meal." Kay hoped that that would bring his spirits up.

He sat there looking at his hands even after she spoke about the first message being out to her. He finally swallowed though and smiled at her, though it was clear he was forcing the smile as his eyes showed just how sad he was about the situation. But an effort he made to look happy was there and he spoke. "Thank you Kay... guess i should listen to my own advice sometimes and not worry as much..." He couldn't help himself but dwell on it as she gave him the food and to the truth he was fie that she had been waiting. It would definitely be nice to have some cooked food once they could.

He stood though and moved over to the chair and sat down as he stared at the pot for a few more moments. "Hey, Kay... Thank you again for healing me and keeping me alive." He smiled a little more as he looked at her before closing his eyes and sitting there wordlessly as his mind quickly faded from consciousness.

Kay didn't have time to respond as he had already drifted off to sleep. She slipped off the bed and gathered the kettle, putting it away inside her satchel. She finished her tea and tucked her cup away too. Afterwards she got to her feet and tucked the blanket around him
Sure he made her take the bed, but he said nothing about the blankets.

He still looked worried, even in his sleep. She could see it in his furrowed brow. Solan told her to rest as well, but she wasn't tired. Yes, Kay was stubborn, yet so was he so they were even. She placed her hands above his eyes, careful not to touch him. She then closed her eyes and tapped into the Force, working on another slow treatment of easing the blockage in his optical nerves. If he could see when he woke up, then it might help lift his spirits some more. After all he has to survive for his daughter's sake.

He spent most of the night sleeping, his eyes closed and not even noticing her working to get his eyes working. He was busy consumed in a dream that held him like a vice which was probably good for him, as it kept him still and his energy dormant for now. The only thing was that as he slept his head would lull to the side, his mind replaying the past as if on fast forward, watching everything that had ever happened do so again but something was odd. There were events that were wrong, changed. As if his mind had rewritten his most basic memories to spare him some how.

But he would wake up eventually. Some hours later his eyes would slowly open and he would stare as the light hit him. Wait light. He blinked again and strained his eyes as he saw light, nothing clear but light was there. He blinked again and tried to see what was around him, see where Kay was if he could.

Kay was asleep in the bed. After she had finished her treatment, she went onto the bed and curled up under her cloak to keep warm. Unlike Solan however, she didn't dream. Her mind had let her relax so that she can recuperate her energy.

She awoke soon after he did and saw him peering around. Kay yawned and rubbed her eyes. "Did it work? Sorry, but I couldn't help myself..."

He blinked a few more times before nodding slowly. "I can't see too clearly, but there is light. It should only take one maybe two more treatments... assuming we can fix it that much." His eyes turned to peer in Kay's direction as he stood up and grabbed the blanket. His feet carried him in the direction of the bed while his foot tapped around too to make sure he didn't walk into it. Once he found the edge though he reached out to give her the blanket. "You rest... ill get you your tea in a nice warm cup. Least i can do." His smile was there and while there was still a faint tinge of sorrow, he was back to being happy and mostly carefree.

"Oh...well thank you. Breakfast in bed. How wonderful." She wrapped the blanket around herself as she sat up. It was still warm from his body heat. "I'm glad that it's working. Otherwise getting out of here would take a lot longer."

They were lucky so far. No signs of wildlife, pirates or anything else. Maybe the planet was too cold. It was hard to say at the moment and they'll explore more later.

Kay didn't want to upset him, but as he was preparing the tea she had a suggestion, "Solan...when we get out of here, and if you don't mind, maybe I could help you find your daughter? We work well together and I could ask people that might otherwise not answer you. Of course if you'd rather go alone, then that's fine too and I completely understand."

He paused and looked at her, blinking before smiling and he couldn't stop his laugh. "Uh... well i wont need help finding her. You see um..." He put his hands in his lap as he turned to her and spoke with a bit of embarrassment. "You see, im not just a uh normal dark jedi. The thing is well... Im kind of a king of two planets and my daughter is being watched over by a private military of about two thousand people..." He said the words almost in rapid fire as he rubbed his arms and looked absolutely foolish now for worrying so much about Evania. "I disposed of the last king, killed him, an act of regicide. That is why i worry for my daughter. If there is ever the chance when someone is paid off, or someone can sneak past into the... err palace. You get the idea."

He looked over to the side as he poured the tea into the cup and heat it up, looking towards the ground again as he finished speaking. "Sorry i didn't tell you about this earlier."

Kay blinked. She certainly didn't see that coming. Of course she'd been around various people of nobility and royalty having been a formal diplomat and peacemaker of sorts, so she certainly wasn't going to treat him any differently than before. "Oh...wow. She's a lucky girl to have so many looking out for her. Although I'm sure she might consider herself unlucky at times as she's being constantly watched. I can understand you not saying anything earlier though. I probably would've done the same. I used to have the title of Lady, myself, but that seems like it was in another lifetime."

She smiled and figured that there would be plenty of other places for her to go once they had escaped this planet. "The sooner that you can message your people, the better. They must be worried sick about you."

[member="Lady Kay"]

He stared down at the ground and smiled as she spoke and nodded. "Uh. Well i guess i could tell you the story seeing as you told me so much about yourself and ive mentioned her enough that i think its fine. Evania's mother and i only knew eachother for a short time, a long time ago when i was nothing more than a child in the wake of a death. I found her a month ago... she was alone and her mother had died from a disease that if i had come back years before i could have helped kept at bay. I owed her mother as well as her for disappearing. That is why i broke down last night when it was brought up Kay, but dont worry. She once we contact someone i know i am sure that she will be safe until we get out of here by way of rescue or on our own power." His eyes lifted and he smiled but for a moment as the small tinge of sadness remained. "Here, drink this, it should be heated to the right temperature by now."

Kay nodded as she listened to the story. She took the tea and had a sip. It was a bit strong, but that's okay. Everyone makes tea in different ways. "Thanks for the tea. But there's no need to apologise. Everyone has their secrets. It's a part of ourselves that we cling to and hope to never lose, lest someone uses it against us. I know that only too well."

She had another sip. "I'll get to work soon and finish clearing out the bodies and burying them. I could have that finished by lunch, weather permitting of course. That is unless you have other plans for the morning?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

He thought about it and shook his head. "No, but i should be ready enough to be able to help you get the bodies out. I may not be able to life them but i can help you get them out if i can." He smiled at her as he tapped the side of his head. "After all, keep in mind i can see without my eyes if i have too... its just colors and details i cant really tell. Infact to tell the truth to me you look bald... and your face is very clay like in that its very hard to pick out minut details. Sorry to inform you of that, but im sure you aren't actually bald." He was grinning wide, the words obviously a joke and a lie about him not seeing her hair. Granted she might not know he was joking about it, but he would wait for the words to sink in before he would speak again. His hands meanwhile were getting out two ration bars. "Ordered some expensive ones this time, decided you needed the upper class stuff."

Bald. Far from it. But she snickered as she appreciated his joke. "Actually....I am bald." She winked even though he couldn't see it, but she was sure that he heard the teasing tone in her voice. As he brought out the ration bars she gasped, picking out hers from his hand. "Oh you shouldn't have! This must have cost you a fortune, but it's my FAVOURITE! Oh thank you, Solan!" Taking a sip of her tea was a bit of a mistake as she was still laughing a bit, almost causing her tea to go down the wrong tube, causing her to cough. But she didn't spill. Maybe rehab for tea drinkers was a good idea.

Kay took a bite of the ration bar and pondered for a moment, thinking of his offer to help with the bodies. "Alright, here's the plan. You can search their pockets and I'll drag them out. Once they're all out of there, we'll finish burying them. Sound good?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

He laughed as she laughed too and only paused for a moment to blink as the tea went down the wrong pipe. He remained smiling as he sat back on the floor and stared up at the ceiling, eating the ration bar. It would be nice to get back to work though the joking around was very welcome too. It was a relief though that she spoke once more and suggested the plan, to which he nodded to. "Sounds good to me, though you really should let me help you get them to the pit, it will be faster." He thought for a few moments as to how many were probably still in the ship. They deserved the burial and his sigh escaped him as he thought about it.

"You know... the luck of myself and yourself escaping death is amazing. Only two survivors, and one that can heal while the other knows more than enough about tech and ships to keep us alive. Its almost like it was planned by the hands of chance." He smiled and leaned back looking at the sky. "Kinda like that corellian god is looking out for us, ehh?"
