- Fleet Name: Reach of the Sith
- Classification: Assault Fleet
- Affiliation: The Sith Empire
- Fleet Symbol: Beyond the Sith Empire's crest adorning most of the Reach's warships, the second most commonly associated symbol is that displayed on Supreme Admiral Croscal's flagship; a gloved fist clenching an entire world surrounded by a stylized star and the words, "His Will, Among The Stars", written in Aurebesh underneath it.
- Description: Considered to be the Empire's long arm, the fleet given the designation of Reach of the Sith is a massive fleet number almost four-thousand warships strong. Divided into three Task Forces each led by a seasoned and capable fleet commander, the Reach ferries the Empire's many legions into battle against enemies all across the galaxy. It is the Reach that has led the charge against the Galactic Alliance at Thyferra and Coruscant, smashing the Free Worlds Coalition's fleets at Alderaan and Kuat, bombarding Commenor, and laying low the heretic Sith fleets at Csilla.

Those systems who have suffered greatly under its yoke have learned to fear the sight of the distinct wedge-shaped warships of the Sith in the upper atmosphere, while those who have benefitted look to the skies with awe and comfort in the knowledge that no foreign entity would willingly dare to trade blows with the Reach.

When the Sith returned to the Tingel Arm, they brought with them whatever warships they could muster from various defunct governments. This rag-tag assembly was used to strengthen their authority over several minor shipping lanes and star systems, though they found it difficult to contend with the more established pirate syndicates that called the once Imperial heartland home.
Not only that, the threat of annihilation by the nearby Silver Jedi Order hung over the weakened Sith's heads like a spectral guillotine. Might could not avail them at this moment, so the Sith turned to guile and trickery to bolster their forces.
Self-proclaimed Pirate Kings were ensorcelled by ruinous magic, handing over their entire fleets to the Sith Lords before being gruesomely dispatched. Old and forgotten shipyards were re-discovered and restored as well, adding to the Sith's growing power as they plotted and schemed to displace the Silver Jedi still holding sway over the Stygian Caldera.
When the time came to do so, the ensuing battle was ruthless and bloody. Fighting broke out on every world, and with great effort, the Silver Jedi were repulsed from the region. But it came at a great cost to the Sith, who found their meager fleet tattered and torn. They knew that the Silver Jedi could return, would return, with an even greater force to destroy them.
So they withdrew from the Stygian Caldera and fled further Northwest to the Braxant Run, to the neglected fortress world of Bastion. It was there that the Sith struck at the once mighty world, and in the aftermath of the battle, they formed an alliance of Sith with Bastion as its capital. They named this alliance the Sith Ascendancy, and the rag-tag fleet was reorganized into the Sith Navy while the shipyards above Bastion were used to bolster its ranks.
Nearby systems fell to the Sith and were incorporated into the Ascendency, such as Dubrillion and Echoy'la. Moving down the Braxant Run, the Sith fleet snowballed with each system taken by the Ascendency, growing and growing until it could be considered a considerable fighting force. Its strength was proven during the Battle of Mygeeto, where the Muun fleet was smashed and Muunilinst itself was forced to capitulate.
By that time a shift had begun to take hold in the Ascendency, a shift in doctrine and in government that led to its reformation as the Sith Empire. Crowning the Sith Lord Kaine Zambrano as the Empire's first Emperor, the nascent government overhauled its military by doubling the Sith-Imperial Armada with the Emperor's own stockpile of former One Sith vessels and Epicanthix war galleys.
Yaga Minor then fell to the Sith, giving the Empire one of the most renowned shipyards in the entire galaxy. It was at that moment that the fleet known as the Reach of the Sith was born.
Since then, the Reach has gone on to serve as the Empire's primary means of assaulting the galaxy, ferrying its legionnaires into battle, and establishing dominion over all worlds desired by the Sith Emperor. The Reach spear-headed the assault on Krayiss II during the Dominion War, shadowed the Empire's expansion throughout the Outer Rim, engaged the Silver Jedi over Mirial, traveled halfway across the galaxy to lay waste to Thyferra, razed Alderaan, broke the League of Voss over the titular world of Voss, waylaid the Alliance fleet over Coruscant during Operation: Eclipse, protected Dubrillion from Rebel incursion and destroyed those same Rebels over Gree, laying siege to Commenor, and humbling the Mon Calamari navy over Mon Cala itself.
Most recently, it engaged the heretic Sith over the frigid Chiss capital of Csilla during the Chiss Civil War, emerging victorious once more. With every battle, with every engagement, every skirmish, the Reach of the Sith grew in size, notoriety, and prestige. It was viewed as a symbol of pride to be assigned to one of its thousands of vessels, perhaps the epitome of serving the Empire to the greatest extent possible.
