Matsu looked at him as she held her hand up. "Different.... they don't really have masters, knights or learners. it is just everyone when they are a teenager can come and join. Do small tasks and jobs and as you get older you have more renown or respect. Less competition in some things but they do when hunting some of the creatures or for some of the tasks they get. Me and Sorel observed them handling a small infestation and while it was something small and simple the one who was in charge of teaching the new ones made it a learning experience with the force. Their currency on the world is also something important." She waited for it, that look on his face at the mention of credits and monotary gain but... "They use high grade force crystals to pay for things. It can just be found there on the world and used to get what you need."

"So they start as teenagers instead of as children? That's different. I guess I'm so used to the early age indoctrination of the Jedi" He would admit, letting out a breath as he listneed to the rest of her story. It seemed more like a civilization style when a cult as the Jedi were. Or were they a cult? He wasn't really sure. Monks, maybe? Geez, he was having a crisis here now, wasn't he?

He didn't seem all that interested in how they made money, but he would listen regardless. "I see..." He would respond. "And I assume they're found in dangerous places on-world?"

"Not really and yes. Most of the places seem to have large deposits of crystals and they can just take what they need. I'd almost say it was ideal, the technology is advanced enough that they aren't wanting but they aren't at that point of over indulgence where the technology makes them lazy. Same with their force skills since there is always someone stronger then above you who has learned what you learned, done what you have done. It was quite refreshing to go to a world where the force users were just another shade of darksiders. They might not be purely good but those with power are taught to respect it and respect those who do not have it." She kept walking as the ship to take them down to the planet outside the hanger bay was opening. "They also like some of their own things, grand tournaments where force users can compete to show their skills but also have a chance to impress others from different continents. No killing and they try to leave it all in the arena instead of large grudges. Their leader Mab is very clear about friendly rivals but no war."

"So more or less risking their lives to hunt for their own source of currency, interesting" He would remark. He wasn't obsessed with currency like many were, it wasn't how a Jedi tended to act. But it was interesting to see a society who had made their currency much more difficult to obtain, especially for the much younger, or the much older. He wondered how even the teenagers earned currency, within all of this, moreso the younger ones.

"They're darksiders?" He would inquire as they walked. "Our old Order would have wanted them all dead without even looking at their culture" He remarked bluntly, shaking his head. It was true, they'd have Order 66'd them before you could say "Stop! Hammer Time!" and that'd have been the end of that. Not that he approved.

"Still, they don't seem to come off as a darksided order at all..."

"because they aren't." They weren't jedi or sith, they were just another force order in the galaxy. That they used and had force crystals something the different force orders searched for and went to the edges of the galaxy to find as something so abundant they could just use it in place of credits or something like gold, aurodium then it was the more invaluable. She could see the shimmering of the nebula around the planet that warmed and obscured it. The beautiful blue of the oceans and green of the jungles as well as the protruding towers that came up. Lookout towers that they had learned about were used for ancient rites of passage and some of the strange creatures were said to reside on them.

Then why call them a shade of darksider at all?

He would decide not to bother with that question as he just let her continue to speak. Afterword, he would decide to ask another question he was curious about.

"What of the creatures that come out at night, that you mentioned? Would it the wise to visit the planet and perhaps train against them? I figured perhaps I would be able to hone my ability against them. Especially if they are a danger to the people in settlements nearby. I'd be killing two birds with one stone, no?"

"They are different, from what me and Sorel were able to gleam and figure out with what they are is an old species. They use force illusions to change their forms to blend in and appear to others, they then lure them in and kill the people." She stayed there when finally arriving in the hanger one of the new ships was set up so they would be able to move around. THe ships that had been built for the jedi were an important thing to have and deal with. Exploring out there in the jungle of the world when she entered the ship where the biots were working on different things. The crew were homegrown biot jedi who could roam around and train with the other jedi.

"So they're a threat to the populace."

Well, that seemed to make his decision for him. Even if they would be seriously dangerous, at least while he was training, he'd be helping out the locals while he was at it. That seemed enough to make it a priority for him. Something told him that he wouldn't be able to hold back, if they were as dangerous as Matsu claimed... It'd be good to gear up and be wholly prepared. He looked up aone of the new ships with interest for a moment, taking a breath.

"What was the planet's name again?"

She looked at him. "The real name is long and there are a lot of sounds in it but the few of it here that could be made out is Haven then more sounds." The ship was heading down to look at it all, landing in one of the cities as she could see the oceans where the boats were coming in with the whale like creatures strapped to the sides. A decent haul and she had seen the egg sacks that had when she and Sorel were able to eat some before they were set in containers. The rest of the town had people with carts of crystals and gems that could radiate with the force and they were walking around with island tans and dark hair. Shorter then most but their clothing was in beautiful colors that gleamed with jewels. She was walking down the ramp and others who had brought outfits with furs, others had gemstones and there was different foods.

Well, that was going to be hard to track. Speaking of, where was this ship landing? He hadn't realized this ship had a particular destination and figured it for a flying training base. So when it would suddenly exit hyperspace and begin flying down toward a planet, it caught him by surprise.

He would look out below, watching the people, everything going on... Where were they, exactly?

Matsu was looking at him as he seemed to be confused. "coming." She asked as up in orbit the massive Library could be seen in the nebula around the planet. The Saotome ship that had brought it down here visible for all to see in the sky. Here in the city the streets were stone with nicely even cut rocks, iron framing so that things she knew wouldn't be able to get past them and their allergies were something impressive as more were working with crystals. Some shaping them into designs and some were shaping them into shards that would go into jewelry for all of them to see. Others were going around the streets where the children were using the force with their robes making it more like a dance when they went to some of the posts that were around the city.

She asked if he was coming, and while he could certainly have spoke in innuendo, he decided it wasn't the most professional course of action, so instead he would merely nod his head and follow Matsu. "Honestly hadn't realized we'd landed, or that this ship actually had a particular destination. I figured it only landed to re-fuel and the ones who come here usually do so with, and leave with, their own ships" He would admit, letting out a breath as he would follow alongside her.

He noted the children in the street, all using the Force... The question came again, where in the world were they?

She looked at him and here in the city there was the feeling in the air of excitement. All fo the children were coming around as well as some of the adults and it was a busy day. Fresh food from their boats being cleaned, portioned and sold, miners who had brought new crystals and metals for trade, craftsmen who got the remains after the meat was gone and shaped the bones into new things. Or used the skin as tanned leather to make clothing, the scent of fresh food cooking as the children continued to go through the streets and dodge the different people. All fo their ornate clothing looking pretty with the bright colors as she recognized the chamberlain who was walking. The white leathers there were pristine while they went to investigate the areas outside of the city and the large statues of the different demons that plagued the world at night.

He would relax, eyes almost shut as he took in all that was around him. New voices, senses, presences... It was all new to him, this planet. He could feel the Force in many of it's people, even the children. It made him curious as to how much of them depended on the Force as a whole, or if it was only a certain percent and this particular village merely had a fair amount. He would watch all of this for a bit, before turning back to Matsu.

"This is the society you were speaking of, then?"

Matsu was looking at him and gave a nod of her head. "Yes, it isn't the same as this across the planet but there is a great deal that have many towns just like this. The main leader on the planet is different compared to any of the people. Keeps one of the main continents as a private location for only the best and brightest minds or the strongest fighters that they are able to produce." She had seen with Sorel some of the places where they were able to go and some of the fighters themselves in general. Their tournaments were worldwide martial events with force users and distinct rules that went into it. As well as their sports that benefited those who used shaping skills.

Well, this was mighty convenient. They just happened to be talking about some hidden society and all of a sudden they were on the planet? He called shenanigans. Shenanigans! Well, not really. He supposed it was possible that Matsu just brought it up because they were on the way, so fair enough he supposed.

"I'm not sure if strength has anything to do with breeding, but I'll take your word for it" He remarked at the topic of isolation. Half-jokingly, anyway, he figured she was talking about the tournaments, but he couldn't help but slip something in there.

"Their tournaments are based on bragging rights then? Or do they award anything?"

"Bragging and a chance to learnf rom some fo the strongest fighters on th planet. From what me and Sorel were able to discover there is a lot on this world that functions around their new sense of unity and peace but they are fighters. So tournaments, contests. Things to let them show their skill but that doesn't involve people getting killed daily. It might not be perfect but it is also a way that you can do more things." She was walking and seeing everything but she and Sorle had come to understand some things.. namely that if you had magical force powers and talent you were eventually going to want to fight with them.. it was a rule. So geting to watch a tournament while Matsu was walking and pointed it out. "Plus they make a show of it, the locals for those who might not be the best get a chance to become local heroes in their sports entertainment."

Sorel was the soon to be new Grandmaster, correct? Of course Matsu would work to get close with someone who was going to be in charge at some point... He wasn't surprised at all, really. A smirk crossed his lips at that, but he would brush the thought aside. He supposed he was just not the type to try to get involved much with people in power anymore. He was the sort of man who was about ready to put his duties into less priority for the time being, settle down and pay attention to what did matter... Which was the family he was starting.

"So it doubles as entertainment for their locals then, for those that aren't talented fighters?" He would inquire. "It'd be interesting to watch. That's for sure."

She looked at hi with a nod and a grin. "Yes, it is entertainment for the masses, show the skill, they don't have an actual holonet here so this is their soap operas and there is of course he chance to hear about the different schools with styles." There was a lot that was going on and the jedi master herself continued to walk while the ocean could be seen along with a great deal of sea life in the water. Everything lit from the nebula that swirled and reflected in the water. Giving her a small chance while they were exploring with more of the interest on the world itself here. She could see everything that they had going on in the marketplace trading a few pieces of crystals there for kabobs that she could eat with a grin on her face.

"So they're ostracized from the rest of society then, if they don't have holonet?" He would inquire. "Or do they travel off-world at all? I've never seen nor heard of these folks before today."

He walked alongside her, watching the view of the ocena around them with a watchful yet curious eye. He would continue to ask questions, seeing as knowledge was power to the Jedi...

"I wonder if they know there are others out there?"
